Such an awesome service! We stopped here while on vacation. My daughter got a beautiful gel color and Sam did my dip powder nails! So natural looking and beautiful! I love it! Would definitely recommend.

Have visited this nail salon in the past and was happy with services provided. Was in the area and decided to visit this nail salon again, as had good experiences in the past. This time around, I was disappointed with my gel manicure I received. I normally don’t leave reviews but I feel disappointed because I paid $30 for my nails and have to pay to get them redone. I visited this nail salon on 1/20/2019. I am not sure the name of the nail tech but it was an older lady at the first station, nearest the window. Once she finished, I explained I wasn’t happy with the way the brush strokes looked on the nails. I’m not sure she understood me, but the nail tech beside her explained it was because of the color I chose, it was a smoothie color?? At this point, I felt like it was a bother and she was agitated. So the older lady, removed the polish off the one thumb and reapplied.It looks clumpy around the nail bed! There are bumps in the polish where she didn’t remove all the residue from the previous gel manicure, along with strokes of the nail polish brush!

Called to ask if they took walk-ins and was seen right away. Very friendly staff. I definitely was relaxed. My son picked the color and its gorgeous.

I can absolutely say Nails Works Rocks! The patients they take, they’re concerned about you and your thoughts on your nails how you want them or what to use, gel, reg acrylic, colors etc She took her time made sure everything was perfect & her learning my biting habit she made sure to put a little extra nail magic for my nails to stay strong and secure until my next appointment! My nails look amazing and they have me feeling good about myself!!! Bad experience somewhere else, yeah me too but I came to Nail Works & I’m so happy with experience!

They took care of me right away without an appointment. Prices were okay. Not the best nail salon Ive been to but it did the job. The ladys attitude gave me the impression that if you dont get an expensive service, they rush to get to the next customer who might get a more expensive service. I wish the language barrier wasnt an issue. It was very hard to understand what the technician and manager (I think hes a manager) were saying

I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. The older lady who sits at station 1 was EXTREMELY rude and impatient. Definitely the worst salon I’ve ever been to, they will not be getting any more of my money.

I went there a couple times and they were never that good at doing nails but that wasn’t enough for me to write a bad review, but yesterday i was walking past the place and one of the men who works there whistled at me and catcalled me and continued to even after i said to him that i was 14

I had a pedi and a fill in with a repair on two of my nails. It hasn’t been a week and the gel polish on my toes and fingers have chipped and two nails have now broken. For the amount paid it would have been nice to have my nails look nice for longer than 5 days. Pretty disappointed.

I am new to this area and I am very particular with my nails. I get them done all the time.. Due to covid I havent been able to find many open salons but my husband found this place. Figured it couldnt be to bad being its inside the mall. They looked very clean and seemed friendly....then I sat to get a full french set...let me just say my 11 year old daughter could had done a better job. Uneven, lumpy. Nails is what I ended up with. A single star is for the cleanliness. I dont nor will I ever go to this place again....oh and then they wanted to charge me $50!! I will tell anyone to go buy your own stuff to do your nails yourself before coming here!!!

Great place for pedicure

I got a pedicure with some friends here. The man giving me the pedicure kept trying to upsell me and seemed mad when I refused. Everything was so rushed and low quality. After he painted my nails he directed me to walk over to the lights right away so I had to grab my belongings and waddle over with only the little slippers on and no spacers. I ended up accidentally smudging my big toe in the process and with how rude the guy was acting before I decided to just leave it at that. The price ended up being close to $40 for the pedicure alone, not including tip. Im not a picky person, but I definitely wouldnt come back.

My husband and I always enjoy our experience when we go to this salon. We always get a pedi for our Anniversary and they never disappoint!

I went in for just a gel manicure and was not satisfied. I had bubbles in the nail polish on some nails, and overall the nails weren’t cleanly painted. I also have nail polish on my fingers that was not cleaned off. Just not worth $30.

I met the most wonderful person here to do my nails! She is the absolute best at her craft and is well versed in both gel and sns nail care. She always has a smile when I walk in and also have great suggestions for what will look best on my nails with regards to my skin type. The best part is that she will even let me know if something wont be the best fit! I love her and this place!

Way too much $ for a basic pedicure!!!! My Gel polish manicure was accurately priced but she kept leaving the clear base coat on my skin and kept having to redo them because my nails were sticking to my skin after UV light drying. They do not do refunds and all in all I spent $75 on a terrible job. I will not be coming back

The salon is very nice and modern. The woman who did my nails was very sweet despite not talking much. She made sure to do my nails very carefully and took her time which I appreciate. My nails came out excellent, one of my favorite manicures Ive gotten in the past few years.

Basic spread of mood gels. Herbal pedicure was scented nicely. Though the edges werent filled and they got me pretty good, with the dremmel, taking my other gels off.

Very disgusted. First, the ladies argued in front of me of who was gonna take me as a client. Then the lady who apparently won the argument she was talking all types of bad things about everyone up front to another tech. I told her specifically what and how I wanted my nails done and she totally disregarded my requests. I use my real nails with a thin layer over overlay to ensure they dont crack and she made them super thick, looks like a cheap quick job done. Then I told her what colors in what nails and she put them all on the wrong nails. I asked for coffin shaped nails and she made them square. Im so disgusted and to top it off, she charged me $55! Debbie is her name and I am never coming back. I wouldnt ever recommend anyone ever to them!

Kim is beyond sweet and she does a fantastic job. Shes very attentive during a pedicure and didnt even seem horrified by my former ballerina feet. She did a great job on my French manicure - Ill take a picture when I go back next time. I have to have tidy and professional nails for work but mine look extra great thanks to Kim. Get a loyalty punch card!Also the location is incredibly convenient if you have shopping to do.

Nail Works at Pembroke Mall is a great place to have nails done and pedicures. Friendly, professional staff. Good products and cleanliness is a priority. I have been coming to Nail Works for several years and have sent many people here.

Terrible service received. My daughter and I went in at 820 pm. Told them I wanted a full set, she wanted a manicure and I wanted a pedicure. They told us to pick out the colors we wanted and they would be right with the us. Now, we were aware of the time they closed but figured there was no problem since they were getting us ready.One took my daughter. Another took me. At ten til nine they said they could not do my full set because they closed at nine. Well that was a problem and I let them know that.They were not happy that they had to stay to complete the process they accepted. Needless to say, we will not be going back to that establishment.Quality of work... From 1-10 ... I would rate them 4.

A bit on the pricey side and the clear coat on my toes was not smooth and the polish wasnt even. I expected more🤷‍♀️. On a positive note my technician did take her time with the scrubbing and massaging so that was definitely awesome.

Hands down my favorite nail salon in the area. Its clean, the staff is really nice and I always leave happy. Always a plus when Im able to get a nice conversation with some people.

I have been going to this salon for more than 3 years every two weeks. They are clean and clean their implements between customers, (beware at some other salons who dont). The majority of the staff are great and do a good job. I have only had good experiences with Calvin, Chi Chi or Helen. I recommend that the owner (Chi Chi) be advised if there is ever an issue. I would recommend the quality and cleanliness of this salon.

This place is not bad nor great. This shopping center could really use improvement. To be fair they are trying to bring in good stores. Grand Mart is good for its international items, but up keep could really be better. The dollar store doesnt care how its presented and served. Needs upgrades but does have variety of stores.

Every time I visit Nail Works, I have a wonderful experience. Calvin is wonderful, attentive and kind. In fact, everyone has been nothing but polite and genuinely personable. They have recently moved down the hall to a larger and more modern location. I will continue to return and make recommendations. Thank you!

First impression is everything. I was in the mall and was attracted to the salon look from the outside. Once I stepped in I was approached and able to start the service I chose very soon. The staff were all nice and professional and my nails came out wonderful.

Had a powder manicure and I wasn’t happy with a little glitch in one nail. I went back in and they redid the glaze on my nails. It looks perfect. Prettiest holiday glitter nails I have ever had. They were very nice and no questions asked. Plus, they are open at night, which is the only time I can get my nails done. Definitely recommend 😃👍

This is by far the worst Nail salon on Gods green one. The quality of work they did for my wife was so bad that they even scratched her skin next to her nail and caused her physical pain and caused her to bleed. Out of all of this, she only got a $2 dollar discount. Do not go to this place!

I give them all a few shots to give me the nails I want, and they never seem to get it just right, but nope no here. My nail tech has the high skilled in the nail design! Its been a little over three weeks now and my gel is intact. Will returning!

I love coming here to get my nails done. I always leave feeling so pretty because how different my nas look after I leave. It might sound silly but found from ugly locked at nails to beautiful manicured nails makes the world of difference. The ladies are always so nice and do such nice work. I hope they know that they do make people feel more beautiful because of a manicure or pedicure. Its the little things in life that make us feel the best.

I got an eggshell blue dip powder. None of my nails are even, some of them are much thicker amd longer than others, and my cuticles hurt. She told me she hopes i pick an easier color next time. I will not be back, and now i need to spend more money to have them fixed somewhere else.

This place is all about making a dollar! Save yourself some time and some money and don’t go there. Depending on who walks in the door prices NEVER are the same for the same service that you get! The work that was performed was horrible!!! I cracked a nail instead of her replacing it with another she glued it back together. After piling it with Acrylic stating that it would stay, it cracked again while siting there! 😡 She repeated the same steps and now my nail cracked again an hour later.. The paint job was horrible, not to mention the chipping “GEL polish” that you pay for smh....Then charged me 36$ for a Fill in.. Last time they charged 50$ for a full set! I sat and listen to the different prices being quoted for the same services being rendered as customers walked in. This is NOT right!!!! Save your money!!! #Poor service and attitudes

Absolutely amazed. I got Henry and he did an amazing job. I’m a type 1 diabetic and he took such good care of my feet. Price is worth it and I will be asking for Henry every time!!!!!!! VERY HAPPY.

I was not happy with my experience here. I work in Town Center and wanted somewhere quick to get a gel manicure on my lunch break. The location is convenient in that its in the mall, but they destroyed my nails and charged more than most places to do so. Perhaps it was just the nail tech that I got, but they did a terrible job. They filed my nails down so thin and the paint job itself was not great, I will not be back.

I went to get my eyebrows waxed today during my lunch break and they did an excellent job. They had me in and out within 10 mins and my eyebrows look fantastic. I will definitely be coming back to have them done again.

So i got a fill 2 days ago, then it cracked the same day then eventually broke off. I came back to fix it. She didn’t even take the acrylic off she literally just added another tip and when she cut it, it was very shorter than the rest. I told her it was shorter than the rest and she refused to fix it. She seemed very annoyed and lazy. I come here most of the time with no problem but i will surely not come back to this location anymore. I’ve wasted time and money

This was my first time at this nail salon. My mom and I decided to visit Pembroke Mall today. I also needed to get my nails done. I just wanted to get a shellac. When I mentioned that to the guy at the reception area, he looked at as if I have two heads. The manager had to tell me the price.Anyway, the nail technician did an okay job

If you want mediocre...this place will do. I paid $82 for simple mani/pedi and waxing of chin, lip eyebrow. She cut my finger, left hair around lip and brow...I spiffed up for tonights event but def would never return.

Painting job was good, the place was very put together. and workers were very nice. But i got a full set, 28$, and the shape and length i wanted was an extra $10 put together. They made one of my nails waay shorter than all of the rest, the wait was forever, and made them so thin I’m scared to work with them! The inner of my nail isn’t the best looking and not to mention, they charged $55! It should’ve been $38 if anymore it should’ve been 45 at most! They saw their chance to take advantage and they did! Definitely not a recommendation, but regale nails does a wonderful job! Should’ve stuck to there

Don’t waste your money on this place! I got a gel set. The lady told me to put my hand under the light to dry and said if I saw the light it was on. I said yes bc I saw something glowing purple so I figured it was on. I had never been to this place before. Well the lady goes to do my second coat and I guess my nails hadn’t dried. The man and lady started blaming me as if it was my fault my nails weren’t dry. I felt really uncomfortable with the way they were talking to me. I don’t recommend coming here. The customer service was not good and honestly I think other places do a better job at nails than this place.

Its 27 for a pedicure!!! That doesnt last for a week! When finished he didnt paint toe fully. Its been two weeks and my color is already chipping. My manager saw my toes at work four days after getting them done and asked if I painted them myself. The guy who did my toes asked me was I going to tip him. Like who does that? Id never go back again everrrr.

I asked for an ombre. Nude pink to black. I asked if we could stop and do something else, he said no, Im not done. Ill fix it..... After my nails were cured and he was fixing the ombre, he just tossed the top coat on. I asked if he could just take it all off, he threatened to charge extra for removal. I had a wedding that afternoon. Definitely wore gloves. I posted a pic, PSA: theyre grown out. The wedding was on the 19th of Sept.

Had a mani and pedi here with a friend who is a regular. A true little gem of a place. The staff is friendly and skilled. They gave me a good shape that complimented my hand. I have to say the place was very clean. Overall, I had an amazing experience. Really enjoyed coming!

This salon located in the mall but their prices are compatible with other salons around here and their service is better. My friend and I both had pedicures here and we both love their services, no rush, relaxing and we had a great time!

After Liam left, service went in the tank. today was supposed to be a relaxing day treat to my self. after jenny told ME what I wanted....she proceeded to charge me for a half ass job. not only did she not use any moisturizer for my first leg wax, but she didnt even take her time, and missed spots. I will NEVER be returning to this place..be warned.

This is the worst nail shop in Virginia Beach hands down! I got a fill in about a week ago and 3 of my nails broke a few days later.I went to the lady at station 8 Im not sure of her name but she just didnt listen my nails were extremely thin and I wasnt happy about the work but it was the day before Easter so I said whatever. I just went in there about 10 minutes ago and I guess they were closing, so they asked what did I need done I told them 3 broke nails fixed and I wanted a pedicure. The guy I guess that is the manager told me 5 minutes. So another worker tells me to sit down for my nails but when I asked who was was the manager and was explaining how I wasnt satisfied a week ago the man said something to the lady and then he said we close at 8 can you come back tomorrow morning. No sir! The lady was just about to do my nails so what changed between me sitting down and me explaining how I wasnt satisfied smh. I will never go back there ever again!!!!!!!!
