My father passed two weeks ago and they were very prompt about picking him up from his nursing home, and keeping me posted on the cremation process. Its a new world with covid and funeral arrangements are already difficult. My dad passed in a car accident and I live in KY. So, the task was overwhelming. However, I was fortunate enough to find Sunset with my first call. The process was done without stress or pressure. My questions were answered quickly and accurately. I received the ashes in a scattering urn vs a plain cardboard box and was shipped to me quickly. If I had one suggestion, it would be to to zoom to identify a loved one. A photograph did not satisfy my personal grieving processes. With that said, it didnt change my rating of this business. I highly recommend.

We called this facility after getting a quote of over 3 times what they charged here for the same service. Karlene was so honest over the phone and in person and even told me I could possibly negotiate the price with the other company. We did and was still much higher. I will say the other company was extremely nice, professional and if you want all the extra bells and whistles and can afford it then I wouldnt discourage you. HOWEVER, if cost is a factor then go here and I guarantee you will be treated with the upmost respect and compassion during this difficult process. And there are still all the extras and upgrades you can add. Thank you for being there.

I wish that I had words that were powerful enough to describe the care, compassion and patience that Andrew gave our family during the shocking sudden loss of my father. When a family member passed away that had all of their arrangements set up out of town, I turned to Sunset Point Funeral Home to prepare the body for transfer. I found them very personable and accommodating and they walked me through all of the options given that arrangements were made elsewhere. Their prices were very reasonable and they even ended up refunding me for an overage that was estimated on plane fare. The funeral director Andrew happened to be out of town during some of the proceedings but was good enough to personally contact me on his return to make sure all went as planned. I highly recommend this business during an otherwise unpleasant time.

Planning a funeral/memorial is one of the most difficult things to do in our life and when we are at our most vulnerable moment.
