It was when I went to the store last Sunday. I was shocked when I saw how the room was arranged and cleaned. As he helped me locate the product that I was searching for the worker was very welcoming. This grocery shop is one of the most visited stores in my area. All of the staff are good and accommodating. The department store provides almost everything you need. I think their grocery has the most reasonably priced items among all other grocery stores in the area. They almost have everything even imported items. Overall, this shop could be a good place for shopping and entertainment.

Well I could tell you from experience and going through hard times if you want to pack your fridge and I mean packet with enough food to last you for a good 2 to 3 weeks then this is your store you could get produce from vegetables to fruit meat all the good stuff for under 200 bucks and you could pack a full size fridge guaranteed

Portions are great and it costs only $14.99 for 1lb carnitas, tortillas, salsa, beans and rice.The Wife and I stop-by every couple of weeks. The flavor is much better here than at Northgate and we tend to get friendlier service here.All of the food is prepared right in front of the customer and weve never had the comida bite us back, as it were.

Im thankful because this grocery shop has it all, and everything here is very affordable. Its Sunday, and its time for some groceries! I like to go here because they usually have fresh locally grown oranges and tangerines along with lots of other fresh produce at decent prices. I love their pan dulce❤️ and fresh baked bread rolls.

This market space was renovated over the recent years and includes a lot of very cool places to get food, drink, fresh juice, Mexican food. It’s open day and night and the tracks quite a crowd of both local still live in the downtown area, workers from different parts of the city and tourists.

Great selection of veggies & greens at good pricing. Big butcher department as well as a bakery and cooked deli. Beer selection is very basic though with domestic and Mexican beers. Hardly any craft beers. Late hours until 10pm.

Cashiers are friendly and helpfull store is well stocked with alot variety. Only problem is I am disabled and I cannot enjoy my shopping experience because they do not provide electric carts for thier patrons with disabilities. I having difficulty walking and a electric cart would be a tremendous help.

If I could give 0 stars I would . I went in yesterday 3/15 around 940pm. I normally dont shop here but with all the stores being cleaned out I decided to see if they still had some items available. When I was checking out the cashier scanned the item (Nido powdered milk) and it came up as $12.99. She then called the manager or owner to override the price because according to her the right price was actually $23.99. I know this is not true because never have I paid that much for that brand of powdered milk. It is really unfair and selfish for that store to raise prices almost double just because of the situation rite now. Because of the Hispanic population that goes there, they think no one will notice or say anything about it . Please report this store if it has been done to you! Price gauging is illegal and they should be held accountable by getting fined! Dont let your self get over charged because of the situation we have going .

I have only been to this market once. I was heading in to get some pastrys for a work party. I was greeted many times by friendly staff. I will be back. I walked past the meat counter and saw a lot of BBQ items. They were also making fresh tortillas.

This place is a joke your a busy store and open 2 lines up not sure if your under staffed or what but it’s ridiculous coming into this store on certain days. I know they can offered to hire more cashiers the owners are loaded with money invest a little more into your store and product we have had meat go bad a day after buying it.

During this time where people are looking for toilet paper, paper towels, perhaps milk, eggs, meats, vegetables they still had a decent supply at mid-day. Limits of 1 per house hold

Meat department is surprisingly good. I have puchased pork, marinated chicken and shrimp which have all been fresh and a very good value. They run some good specials on produce but be prepared to pick through a bit. The tortilla factory is great for fresh tortillas and masa for tamales. The bakery seems to be pretty good and a fruit tart from there was very good. Sweet breads are good but the dispensers are dated, look difficult to clean and have worthless photo/labels that are impossible to match up to the items for sale. A description of the item with the price right next to the item would be nice. Check this place out particularly if you want a taste of Mexico including some very nice staff throughout the store.

I really dislike coming here to deliver always takes more than an hour to receive me.... the receiver either ignores you the most he can or he goes and does something else letting all the truck deliveries pile up and make us wait even more I wish I could give 0 stars

A lot of the times the store is dirty. Numerous of times the produce is bad. The store only has good deals on the produce, but it may lack in quality.The check out lines get very long with only a few cashiers. Sometimes they use cardboard instead of floor mats when it rains. On the Facebook page of the store, all the people that gave it 5 stars are the employees of the store. Try not to go there when you can.

This pinche place never has more than two registers. I only come here for the pan dulce but damn its like theres no one working the registers. Go to la superior store if you can.

Amazing meat department with fresh cut portions put out that day, A literal tortilla factory producing fresh house made tortillas to order. Excellent staff even if you do not speak spanish. Muey Bien!

I ran in there just to grab celery and carrots and no celery available. Then we went to restroom no toilet paper, no paper towels in either mens or ladies had to hurry out of there.

I am sorry to say this but my friend got tacos and they were dry and not good. I got the mojarra and even though they made it fresh it just was not good - very small with barely any meat ..also there were hard pieces in my beans I dont know what was going on.. we looked at the sweet bread and nothing looked good and we decided to go to Molino de Oro instead

La Caretta has different items on sale for each day of the week.Fresh Mexican food and vegetables are on sale cheap, like 5 lbs onion for $1. Meat and sea food are also cheap. They sell some exotic ingredients that cannot be found in other sups, like beef shanks, beef clod shoulder roast for about $3 a pound, medium shrimp $3 a pound, Swai fillet (basa or cat fish) for $1.0 a pound ect... fantastic values.Look in their web site for their weekly sales.The market is nice, clean, staffs are courteous and friendly. We are not Mexican but gained 5 pounds after finding out the good deals in this market.

Best prices and I always feel like Im getting a good deal . plus they have a full kitchen inside with a bakery. If you want authentic come here.
