They have misleading practices that seem aimed more at taking extra money than providing a fair service.A key giveaway is that when they get too many honest, bad reviews, they make a new account. Not the actions of an above board business. If you decide to rent from them, prepare to feel cheated.

Edit 2: Jason Goold sent me an email threatening me with legal action for this review claiming we extorted him because we asked for a partial refund before posting this. Avoid this company and Jason at all costs. We called his number below 7 times since his reply, he hasnt responded aside from the threat of going to the police.Edit: Its funny to see their continued lies in the response to this review. Its also amazing to see how toxic hes being in his responses instead of trying to resolve the issues like a normal business. He had multiple bad reviews before we left ours and I wish I would have checked before renting. They charged me an additional $1,000 for my rental and refused to return it after multiple phone calls and emails. Later we found fine print in the contract stating they could take an unspecified deposit that would be returned on check out. The funds were not returned until I called Chase. The owner has been poor to respond to phone calls, texts, and emails. He then blames the renter for issues they experienced and threatens legal action for bad reviews.

This company feels like a scam. Though the contract stated there may be a deposit, no amount was ever specified so I was shocked when $1000 was charged to my credit card the day of check in. We could not get ahold of anyone at Luxsle to figure out the charge, and after several days of no response post check-out Chase cancelled the charge. Not to mention the house wasnt fully stocked with standard supplies and the house was under construction in the middle of our stay with no heads up. I would think twice before renting from them.

Edit 4: LUXSLE sent a retaliatory email to my employer over this review.Edit 3: Added screenshot of a review left on my employers Google landing page. A month after our stay, we still have not received a phone call from this company. Just threats, harassment, and bullying.Edit 2: Added new screenshots from text messages owner sent me and the email that they never resolved with us.EDIT: Based on the owners request, I attempted to make contact with him at the number provided. I called the number twice and left voice mails each time, the voicemail box wasnt labeled. Afterwards, I called the business line five times. The first three times, someone answered, I heard typing, and no one responded to my hellos. The fourth and fifth time, I was redirected to Jason Goolds Voicemail, where I left two additional messages just looking for a conversation. Making total number of unanswered calls well over ten.In my opinion, I would think twice before making a reservation with LUXSLE. To summarize, they are TERRIBLE at communication and our stay was marred with their odd behavior. We rented the Driftwood Retreat in Blaine, WA.Upon our arrival, we initially were WOWed by the stunning view, however, that was short lived.Upon unloading our luggage, we noticed an odd smell coming from the kitchen. We initially thought it was the semi dirty kitchen (with unwashed dishes and dirty dishes in dishwasher), however, after poking around, we found an old chicken breast in the microwave. Upon going to throw it out, we found the garbage bag mostly full. There were no additional trash bags.Cleanliness is one thing, the reservation got odder.Upon going to use the main bathroom on the main level. We found the toilet plugged. After another search, we found no plunger in the home. So, we ventured back to Bellingham, 30+ minutes each way to get some cleaning supplies, trash bags, and a plunger.Upon investigation, we found the Air Handler completely missing....The following day, the family was sitting down to breakfast when two men walked into the home unannounced to start working on the AHU. They told us, they had been working in the house this week, and they needed to get this work done before the weekend and that they needed us around.Shocked, we let them install the Air Handler, changed our plans, and stayed at the home all day. The workers, who showed up in unmarked vans, spread there tools throughout the basement, blocking our access to over half the home, two bedrooms, and a bathroom. They DID NOT wear masks. They DID NOT observe any COVID safe work practices and were in the middle of our belongings. The work took from 8am until 5pm. During which, they set the smoke alarms off multiple times and banged sheetmetal most of the day. Then in the middle of the day another worker showed up to ask us to help him fill up the pool and wanted us to turn on and off the valves for filling the pool throughout the day...The home wasnt fully set up for summer yet. The note in the home said to find the stuff outside, however, after searching everywhere we gave up looking outside. We ended up finding most of the outdoor items shoved in a basement closet under piles of stuff. Not a major issue, but the items kept piling up.The home had the chance to be a magically get away.Over the following two weeks, we tried to make contact with LUXSLE via the phone and email. Not once did they return our calls. Only after threatening further action did they reply to emails, never calling us.In their replies, they said that per their rental agreement, they are allowed to do this (THEY DONT) and wouldnt take any accountability for the cleanliness of the home.Lastly, upon review of our bank statement, LUXSLE charged an extra $1000. We later found this to be a deposit that wasnt clearly written about in the contract. The contract was not clear about the deposit amount or when it would be returned. We called Chase and they removed this charge from our account.Their communication has been exceedingly poor.

SCAMMERS!!!!! I booked a reservation with them. Literally 10 minutes after a confirmation email from them I tried to cancel my reservation but in order for them to cancel my reservation they asked me to send them a picture of the back and front of my credit card and a selfie of me holding my ID. I never stepped foot on their property and am still waiting for my refund. I called countless of times but no one has ever answered the phone. Whenever I message them and asked them to give me a call they respond “Not available for phone call” #BADBUSINESS #LuxsleCorp

This business is a scam and very misleading. Make sure to check their Yelp reviews because multiple people have documented their poor and misleading situations with the owner, Jason Goold. I rented their listing through VRBO but they did not contact me regarding check-in or any confirmation of my stay until the MORNING of my stay. All I wanted was to cancel my booking because I wasnt even sure if I had a place to stay, but VRBO would not let me cancel because despite hosting Jason Goolds property on their website, they took no responsibility for the cancellation and would not provide me the refund. VRBO put me through to Jason the morning of my stay and let me tell you, it was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional phone calls of my life.He claimed that they had been trying to get in contact with me even though the text, email, and call history proved otherwise. When I explained that I wanted to cancel my reservation and receive a refund, he said if I confirmed my ID and last 4 digits of my credit card he would check with his team and see what they could do. After I sent the information to him, instead of sticking to his word, he claimed that I had officially checked in and it was no longer an option to receive a refund. I do not know how theyre still getting away with cheating people out of their money.**Update** I have also recently received a text threatening legal action after posting my 1 star review. Its amazing the lengths this company will go towards covering up and using scare tactics to bully their past renters instead of fixing their own issues.

There is a 2ND Google page for this company under Luxsle! Clearly trying to get ahead of the bad reviews! DON’T BOOK WITH THEM. They WILL bait & switch, forge documents, & keep deposits. This is lengthy, but please read. The CEO is Jason Goold. They advertise on Airbnb & other travel websites. I found them on airbnb but booked direct. Their booking page does say “No refunds after booking”. When I booked, the TOTAL amount including “all taxes and fees” was $1,433. No mention of any fees (ANYWHERE on their site). I receive a text from an agent named Anaqueli. She had me sign the rental agreement as well as send my ID & debit card info. During this conversation, she also asked if I had pets. I said yes, one cat & asked if there were any pet fees (explicitly). She responded with “No, no worries. Thank you.” (Yes, I still have all the texts). She emails me the agreement & instructs me to click the link at the top which will bring me directly down to where I sign. On the rental agreement, the area where it lists “total amount to be charged” was left blank. It seemed fairly standard so I sign. I receive an email with a receipt notification confirming a charge to my account for $1,433.00. She told me I was good to go & a hospitality host would be meeting me at the location on the arrival date & time. FIVE hours later, around 10 pm that night, I receive a text from Anaqueli telling me there is a daily pet fee of $45 AND a daily charge of $125 for “under age” renters. I am 24 years old. My fiancé & I were staying for a total of 9 nights. So this ADDITIONAL amount would have come out to $1,700, totaling $3,133 + $500 deposit. I explained that we do not have the funds & even if we did, those fees were not mentioned until now & I was not willing to pay that. I asked if we could switch the booking into my fiancé’s name, as he is over the age of 25. I also stated that I don’t mind paying the pet fees, even though she had not been forthcoming about it & actually said “no worries” when I asked about pets BEFORE signing the rental agreement. Then I notice an email with another charge of $500. I text her about it & she says it’s the damage deposit (was briefly mentioned in the rental agreement but an amount was not, nor was it agreed upon or written on the agreement. I was also not notified before this charge was made). At this point, I told her I’d be fine with all charges & deposit but again asked to switch the booking into my fiancé’s name to avoid the astronomical under age fees. She claimed she was unable to do this. I told her that the rental agreement did not state anywhere that they can’t switch the booking name & I wanted it in his name. She ignores this & tells me I had to pay the fees per the rental agreement. I tell her no, she says “You agreed to it in the rental contract. If you weren’t comfortable why did you sign it?”. Technically I signed the agreement through my own volition, but this was a bait & switch. It came down to either paying the additional $1700 in fees that they were not upfront about or lose $1433 they had already charged for the rental. I asked her to cancel my booking & refund me the money. Mind you, this was 6 hours after booking. She says “Since you insist, I cancelled the booking per the rental policy you signed”. The agreement also in small black words has so jargon about 60 & 30 day refunds. Since I booked two days before our stay, I did not qualify for a refund per the agreement. I texted her again & asked if she refunded the $500 damage deposit. She never responded. I have yet to be refunded the $5000 & they kept the $1,433. We immediately cancelled our debit card & disputed the charges (though they threaten to charge fees - CANCEL YOUR CARD). We did not win the dispute as our bank said Luxsle provided a contract stating they could keep our deposit. We never signed this & believe Luxsle forged this “contract”. Total, Luxsle stole $1,933 from us. They’re running a well oiled machine where they take advantage of people & are blatantly misleading.EDIT: received threatening text messages. Pics attached

Whats amazing to me, as someone intimately familiar with both black and white hat SEO, is the glaringly obvious use of the former by reviewers with a scanty collection of reviews tucked in nice and cozy among the ones who truly experienced the Axe Body Spray-drenched weasel that is Jason Goold/Lux...whatever.My own personal experience goes like this: Airbnb booked through my employer when I was in a pinch losing all forms of physical identification and plastic. When grilled and given the Gestapo inquiry as to why my employer would not be checking in and I would be as a proxy or whatever, (who cares, we paid upfront, no haggling, no PITA guest requests) there was a sudden need for an additional $500 security deposit on top of the $500 already paid. My employer is a stand up and very well established professional with no need to falsely bolster Google search rankings as you see here.I digress. So, with that additional fee demanded, my employer said, no, we will go elsewhere. You folks are awful people. Upon cancelling and going through the bureaucratic rigamarole that is Airbnbs cancellation process, it was ultimately left up to Mr. Ghoul here to refund what had been booked and cancelled within 1 hour. In his tiny-man manner, he informed us that we should have read the cancellation policy before booking and no refund would be forthcoming. $1,400.Heres a message for the wannabe litigant Jason: If one iota of the unbridled truth is embellished or missing here, please, I BEG YOU, take me to court for libel. You are the effigy of the shallow man every single one of your self-aggrandizing photo ops project, but are revealed in the light with just plain awful web design. Nice website, Dude!🤓Turns out that the majority of good reviews are friends from bumtucked Idaho and not even legitimate customers. 🤔😬😬😬It must be hard to wade through the weeds that compile the list of Airbnb customers and policies you routinely violate. Its much simpler to flag them for violating any policy you can find instead of addressing them. But I happened to see some BBB reviews and it seems that not only do you practice age discrimination, but also keep the deposit money of people having a good time at your vacation properties-not for damages or messes beyond the pale mind you, but for literally making too much noise on a weekend evening that effected you not one bit.As I am concerned, you have record of our transaction in the form of an unearned 1400 dollars back in December just before xmas. You should remember: I tracked you down and called you personally to explain the issue and, as outlined above, you took the route as Mr. Shyster McShysterson. So, heres your chance to correct a short-sighted and thoroughly lowlife thing to do in business or in life: refund that money in whole back to the original payment method via AirBnbs channels of inefficiency that allows you to continue doing your type of business on that platform. YOU ARE A HOST ON AIRBNB so your pitiful blanket responses to the righteously disenchanted Airbnb guests with: We see that you didnt book with our company, Airbnb is a different company, glows with Bovine Brown and Puppy Yellow- but not cute, cuddly puppy you wouldnt mind cleaning up their perpetual messes of, but that willfully ignorant puppy that is so sadly untrainable because the owner is a neglectful/meanspirited idiot.

Do not give them your credit card! They charged my card without my knowledge, stealing almost $900 CAD. This was after I asked for a refund on a covid-cancellation (which had already been paid for in full 6mths earlier). I never even got to stay at their rental due to border closures. A one-night stay that I didn’t get to use cost me $1800.Jason would not respond to my multiple requests to cancel our booking months before our stay-date. He finally processed the cancellation after he charged me the rest of the booking. When I complained and asked to be refunded as the borders were closed and we only cancelled due to Covid... he ignored me for months and only after I said I’d write a bad review he responded angrily saying their cancellation policy states no refunds. A few days later I noticed he charged my credit card AGAIN for the full booking amount... my booking was now over 6mths past and because I said I’d write a bad review he steals?!Jason responded after I told him about the additional charge but would not acknowledge the stolen money and has not repaid it. Do not give these people your card information! After I posted this review, Jason called to threaten me... says if I don’t take down this review he is going to sue me $100 a day for defamation.

Exceptionally clean property with luxurious decor. The Belltown location is convenient for walking to tourist spots like Pike Place Market and the Space Needle, and within easy access to all the popular downtown restaurants (yum!). It was fun to hang out on the top floor private balcony in the sun, enjoying the sunsets and listening to the birds chirping from the many trees all around the building - all in the middle of the city.Im always critical of how clean a space is, but this penthouse was sparkling clean, making me feel really at ease. What we adored most was the decor - from the stylish sculptures, to the exquisite paintings, to the simple blue pillow accents throughout the suite. The interior design was New York luxurious while still having that comfortable feel.Looking forward to checking out Luxsles other properties.

Beware of this company and the owner, Jason Goold. They post misleading ads about their accommodations and refuse to refund when you complain that it was not as advertised and tell them you dont want to stay there. This is what they did to me, and ripped me off for $2,600 even though I contacted them immediately when I saw the property and well in advance of my stay so they could have easily re-rented it. The owner proceeded to send me threatening texts after I posted negative comments on their Facebook page and threatened to sue me. He pointed me to their contract language which expressly states that anything less than a 5-star review must be approved by their management before posting or they will pursue legal action. I reached out to the FTC and their webpage states that it is ILLEGAL to put such language in a contract. So, I reported Luxsle to the FTC. I dont know if they will do anything about it, but I wanted to post a review at the very least so others would know how Luxsle does business and why you only see five star reviews for them.

Very clean modern, spacious and all the needed staples to make your stay stress free and enjoyable. Each unit includes a washer and dryer-beautiful bathrooms -modern kitchens and living rooms. Smart TV included in both the bedroom and living room as well as free internet access. The owner ( Jason ) and Manager ( Elmira) follow a “Hands on” approach and are very involved with accommodations and making your stay enjoyable. We had to extend our stay beyond the time frame we had originally confirmed. This was durning the “ highest Point” of the Covid lock down.Jason, ELmira went “ above and beyond “ to accommodate our request on short notice and transition us to another unit in the same building while keeping their commitment to their other guests.Lastly, the best location in Boise, close to BSU, Greenbelt, Parks, downtown Boise and walking distance to grocery stores. Both my husband and I highly recommend staying any Luxsle rentals overseen by Jason Gould andhis team!Susan and Joe Schwartzenberger
