Just finished my two year stay here at Solara and loved every minute of it! Sandra is one of the best property managers in Seattle in my personal opinion. Her staff is equally as great! Cindy and Malia were always friendly and talkative whenever they saw me in the office or around the property. One person I will definitely miss a lot is Mary! Loved our conversations before I went to work during the beginning of this pandemic.

I lived there for one year and it is above average among other apartments with the same price. The interior: The apartment itself is new, all devices work properly and the space is sufficient for daily activities. The management: Cindy and Malia are always standing by to help me. My bulbs were broken and Cindy send the worker to get it fixed on the same day.The community: I love the facilities and inner garden which makes me feel safe because it is isolated from the outside. Most neighbors are friendly. However, if you are an asian, you might need to reconsider. There is a white man living in this community and he seems not so friendly to asians.I am not discouraging asians who want to live here, I am also not belittling this community as Cindy and Malia did a really good job. But safety is always the highest priority. To conclude, I will give 4 stars to this community. I hope it become better :)

Solara is by far one of the best places Ive lived in Seattle. Sandra and the rest of the leasing office team are amazing. Sandra legitimately cares about the residents, and always made sure everything we needed was handled in a timely manner. Even when things werent their fault, she was a total professional and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. The apartments themselves are great, too!

My rating for this building would have been 3 stars...but since the new Leasing team came in over a year ago, thing shave REALLY gotten better. Sandra, Cindy and Val have been nothing but helpful. From getting us a temporary unit after ours flooded from neighbors above us, to getting us into a brand new unit as quickly as possible...and a handful of other small issues not uncommon to apartment living...they are always happy to help with, my husband and I are happy to call Solara home. We are hoping to sign a new lease to stay a 4th year here.

Sandra was amazing and helped me make the perfect choice for my first Seattle apartment, and Cindy and Kyle are always so kind and hilarious! They go way above and beyond any expectations. No apartment is perfect and while there are minor things I could complain about, this complex is a great value and close to everything you need. Would recommend.

Since the renovations the apartments are super modern and rather nice . I unfortunately have a unit that hasnt been renovated and I was in a situation before that I allowed for no fixing up before I moved in to a handicapped accessible unit that still had the original appliances from opening day. Boo boo right. No my problem is that because of the bundling of all bills into there rent kept me from getting the disabled persons benefits that I require in order to live.I am charged full price for my utilities although I requested and set up the discount because of that they gave me thousands of dollars in late fees and when told those would be waved they charged me quietly until it got high enough to force an abrupt mutual termination on me.It is my fault for trusting anyone, being poor, and not paying attention to paperwork. But hey I got off easy I only have to go live so far away from downtown I will never get to perform again. Im sure its for the best . I wont play cover tunes and no one wants that.

I lived at Solara for 4 years under two different owners and 3 different community managers. Hands down Sandra is the best manager! She and her team do their best to ensure their residents’ happiness. I have recently moved out, unfortunately, but so far they have made my move out process smooth and easy.I lived in both 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units. Both were very spacious and nice.I had to knock down a star due to issues with the fire alarm going off at random hours, valet waste not picking up trash, noisy neighbors etc..But overall, I had a good experience living at Solara.

Overpriced for what you get, when something breaks they take super long to fix, or it doesnt get fixed..Fire alarm goes off at least 3 times a week. Owned by a huge company who dosent value its residents. Only cares about money. Constantly has leaks and flooding in every building. Claims to have patrols with security but I have never seen them. Package theft is bad in the mail room. The parking garage always has homeless people wondering and trying to break into cars would be nice if security actually patrolled. Costs $100 a month to park a car in the garage but i see people without a parking permit in there all the time. Sometimes the office puts stickers on the cars stating they are going to get towed but they never tow them. The best thing I can say at least Sandra (the manager) is nice. Maintenance team is understaffed and cannot keep up with fixing stuff. Needless to say I am not a happy resident. Hope this changes soon.

I lived here for a year between 2016-2017. It was awful for many different reasons. The worst one being that after I left to move to a different state I kept asking them for my deposit via email. They would never respond until I finally got them to pick up the phone when I called. They said that the reason I did not get my deposit back was because I actually owed them money for damages. I asked them to send me a list of damages and charges. They never did. I hounded them via email and phone calls again but never actually got the charges. Eventually I found they sent the charges to collections without ever given the chance to dispute them or even pay for them. These people are basically thieves.

This place has gotten a MILLION times better since the new management team came in in mid-2018 (Sandra R and her staff). The staff are friendly and really helpful when you need something, and have been trying to foster a community feeling between residents (inviting to events, sharing messages from individual residents out to all of us, etc). We can see obvious improvements be made to the property common spaces like outdoors and mailroom and leasing office, we have fewer water/boiler/maintenance problems than in past years, and when you report problems on the property, they generally get fixed pretty fast. The team is quick to respond to emails, they follow through on issues or problems, and feel like they are actually here to help the residents and keep things running well and making this a nice place to live.A year ago I would have given this place 2 stars, but the new management has really raised the bar significantly.

To anyone foolish enough to rent an apartment here, dont. My name is Shea Gorman and I used to live in Apt. A-113. We broke our lease after a hole was left in our ceiling from a leaking pipe for 2 months. The only reason they fixed it was because we reported it to the city, who came to inspect and issue a citation. We paid all fees for breaking the lease etc. and their system charged us a late fee although we paid within the allotted 45 day period. The system charges you a late fee within 30 days or so. They didnt catch this mistake nor did they inform us of this charge. It went to collections! We disputed it and we were assured by Solara that it would be removed. Two weeks later and it still hasnt been removed despite several attempts to contact the property manager. It forced us to have to file suit against them for damages done to our credit. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!

Lived in the Solara for 4, almost 5 years but haven’t lived there in over 2 years. The Solara was once an awesome place to live when we initially moved in. At that time I could describe it as clean, structured and service oriented thanks to top flight management - a professional by the name of Jen who soon went onto bigger and better opportunities elsewhere. After Jen left her position was filled by the new manager Chad. Chad made it his mission to run the Solara into the ground. In summary:•Rude•Customer is always wrong attitude / confrontational.•Lying for his benefit (documented) - to lease my unit out from under me (profit oriented vs. customer). • Seattle housing authority was needed to step in and put him in his place and help maintain my rights (Thank You S.H.A)•Horrible environment for dog owners. Example: no tolerance for a 9 week old [friendly] German Shepard being off her leash to trot around in the grass and smell flowers (literally what our puppy was doing when we were caught by the Chad and informed we were ‘in violation of the apartment guidelines‘).The Solara is located directly next to housing for recovering and practicing addicts and low income housing which is interesting considering the rents at the Solara start around $1400 for a studio and nearly reach a high of $4000 for a 2br / 2ba.Regarding geographical location, the building is conveniently located for travel in any direction and a good spot to live if you attend the UW or work downtown.**After reading reviews from residents that have lived in the Solara more recently than myself, it appears the new management team noticed several if not many of the significantshortcomings at the Solara and from these reviews it appears that they’ve successfully dealt with a number of them. Considering the cost to live here, I’d personally expect an above average environment & experience. . .Congrats to new management for making a difference in the right direction as noted by several of your current and / or recent tenants.**- Good luck in your search for a new place to call home.

This is the worst place Ive lived in my life. Ive lived there for a year. There were many times the water heater did not work for days. There were dog wastes in the hallway, the parking lot, and the stairways. The garbage chute door had been broken and inaccessible for a couple of weeks. Parking is crowded and very tight. The staffs were mean and helpless. Ive lost packages in the mail and had to file claims. In the neighborhood, there are homeless around the apartment complex all the time. Most nights, you can hear shouting/screaming outside, making it difficult to sleep at night. I dont think this apartment is safe and I do not recommend Solara Apartments to anyone.

Very noisy, overpriced, not nearly as dog friendly as advertised. When you go to the office to submit a work order or complain they snottily reply with Well, we have to see it or hear it to do anything. They dont care about anything that goes on as soon as there office shuts (not always at the posted hours) and the pet policy is constantly being modified at their whim to make it a considerably less pet friendly environment than they would have you believe(the dog run is filthy) Currently one of our neighbors enjoys playing bass heavy music and games and the list of complaints we have lodged has apparently fallen on deaf ears. The only good thing is that it is very centrally located on Lake City Way and the bus lines. Unfortunately the large number of transients that live on the street behind the apartment negates the neighborhoods friendliness by making it unsafe to go outside the gate at night.Moving out ASAP.

They try to steal your money!! I applied for and was approved (with conditions). The application fee is $40, and I understand I wont get that back .The conditions I was approved with was an additional deposit equal to 1 months rent. Before signing a lease, I determined that the amount I would be paying monthly was more than my budget allowed, so I called and respectfully said I was withdrawing my application. Just an hour prior to that, I was charged $100 security deposit, and they refuse to refund that money .They said they were legally bound and all she could said was fair housing, but no real details. Doesnt sound fair to me, so I asked for the documentation or laws that explain that. They could not give me any info on that, but said the property manager would take it to corporate.I would understand keeping it if I had signed a lease then backed out before moving in. All I did was apply...

UPDATE: I just moved out of Solara, after 1 year- free at last free at last!! Please read the whole review of you are considering moving here!! I would give this place zero stars of I could! Many times, the elevator has been out. This causes a major issue for folks in wheelchairs, especially during a fire, and for movers. Someone got stuck in it too. The fire alarm went off several times over nothing major. Outside in our pjs we go.You have to use a key fob everywhere you go in the building, which poses problems- when there was a power outage, people got stuck outside the building. If you lose your fob and the office is closed, you cant get in. There are cigarette butts all over the complex as smoking is allowed, and I found one on my own balcony. The dog run is made of bark instead of grass, which makes dog waste hard to see/pick up in the rain and dark, it is not well lit either. It smells strongly of dog urine, and I always get poop on my shoes. They fine people for dog poop but run out of baggies for clean upTHE WORST PROBLEM I have had since living here is THE NOISE.The ceilings/floors are paper-thin, creak and squeak with every step, and my neighbors upstairs stomped, crashed around, banged their furniture every day and woke me up 3-5 times every night and morning (5:30 am, 10:30 pm). They are so inconsiderate and rude!Management offered me more expensive apartments as a solution, which was not an option for me. They said they cant give consequences for every day noise, its apartment living and deemed it a sensitivity issue. Ive lived in over a dozen apartments, and this was the noisiest place BY FAR!I couldnt even hear my TV because my neighbors were crashing around, and I heard their dresser slamming every single morning for hours, and at night when I was in bed. Their large dog would run and jump around upstairs. It literally sounded like theyd come through my ceiling any second. This went on and on day after day month after month!I used earplugs, and a white noise machine and trust me- I could still hear them and not sleep! Sensitivity issue, no. Poorly built foundation and inconsiderate neighbors, yes!If you do move here, make sure you are on the top floor! If you read other reviews, you will see that other people besides myself have had noise issues. I was so tired of the noise and always exhausted, and stressed. It was intolerable and I DREADED going home after work! I tried to get management to help me for 12 months with the noise; with the same answer every time: move or have have proof. I gave them recordings and security heard it; still not enough! The few pros of living here are the nice units (washer and dryers, nice kitchens and bathrooms, spacious balconies) the nice gym, the package notification TV screen (when it is working), the courtyard is pretty, and its pretty easy to find a parking spot although the spots are very tight especially with a large vehicle and the recycling is always overflowing. There are a great deal of homeless people, drug addicts and thugs milling around outsideespecially in the back of the complex by the garage, because theres a homeless shelter and condemned apartments back there. There are drug deals going on and glass all over from widows being smashed out of cars constantly. I saw this happening all the time when Id drive in and out of the garage. Sometimes there were police patrolling back there.I saw someone sneak in the garage. One man shouts and whistles for hours in the middle of the night on lake city way. Drunk people and people screaming are a constant. The area is very sketchy, if you spend some time watching (and listening to) the activity. I called the cops many times. Dont be fooled by this urban oasis advertisement. For all the money I shelled out for this apartment complex, it was not worth a penny.LIVING AT SOLARA WAS A NIGHTMARE!

I cant say enough good things about Sandra and our maintenance guy James, they are SO kind and really care about the people living here. And the apartments are cute, and a good price for the location and apartment features! Our elevator has been out for about a month and will not be fixed until December. No break on rent. I have lived here for 6 months and my name is still not on the buzzer, and there is an extra $400 on the online portal for prorated rent that I paid upon move in, so after 6 months and several attempts at fixing this I still cannot pay rent online, and there is no drop box for checks. I am EXTREMELY busy and cannot always be in the building when office staff is present and am charged late fee if rent is not paid by the 3rd. I have no issues paying the rent, but every other place I have lived allows the 5th. It is very frustrating. I also have put in multiple requests to have my shower head fixed and been told it would happen and it atill hasnt. I was told I would get a new microwave because mine is falling apart - nope. I lived here from 2015 - 2017 and it was probably one the WORST renting expierences of my life. In 2017, Sares Regis took over and everything went downhill FAST.There was a major water pipe break on my floor which damaged our entryway, bathroom and parts of the kitchen. It took MONTHS to fix our damage. I have seen whole apartments buildings in SODO be built faster than it took them to fix water damage. Management gave timelines for repair, but those repairs almost always happened weeks past the planned date and many times vendors would come in to fix stuff and notice to enter was not given, or did not match the dates on the notice.Oh, and we went weeks without warm water, so I had to shower at work.So frustrating! The staff in the leasing office were completly clueless and constantly directed me to the manager who was never there. Everytime I would go in, they would say, Oh, she is at another property today or I dont know when she will be in.When our lease ended, we decided not to renew and put in our notice. Two months after we moved, I received a letter from Sares Regis saying I owe 380 dollars and that it was actually past due. I tried calling the phone number on the letter to inquire about this balance, but nobody ever answered the phone and my voicemails went unanswered. I called the leasing office, but I got the same story. I paid the balance because I had heard that Sares Regis sends tenents to collections without any regard.I gave this review 2 stars because I do love the location. There is a Fred Meyer less than 1 block away which makes grocery shopping very convienent. Also, there are some pretty decent restaurants and breweries within walking distance. If you commute to Seattle for work, the 522 bus picks up just across the street and only takes about 20 minutes.

--update 5-9-18Because I renewed for another year I think its far to update this reviewWe have been through quite a bit of staff and there were still quite a bit of issues, most noted was the elevator being broke for over 3 months and poor communication of this issue and others. What I will say is that recently things have been trending in the right direction. James is a great maintenance guy and follows up quickly despite having a limited staff. Solara is now on its 4th property manger, but my initial impressions of her are good. Sandra is very personable and its very quick to follow up and does well communicating to tenants. The property has been cleaner and have been getting a face lift over the past few months. Still cautious of this company but it feels like things are getting better. One thing that has always been true is you cant beat the location. Walkability score is great and the neighborhood is on the come up. This place is extremely dog friendly so keep that in mind if youre not a fan of pets. Moving my rating up from a 1 star--Been under new management this year and its been a disaster. I can forgive transition issues and delays with being understaffed. However the complete lack of written or verbal communication with policy changes is not acceptable. Had several exchanges about pet monthly rent fees being removed for the last few months. I was assured this was the case only to find out today that they have changed their minds. When asking to please take 30 seconds to reply with a follow up email I was told she didnt have time. When I assisted the manager asked the bewildered maintenance man to physically remove me from her office. Needless to say this was alarming. Generally feel sorry for this man. They have been through many gentleman as they are so overstaffed and overworked and dont last long.

Review №42

If you are reading this review, Im sorry that you have already wasted any time considering Solara. After living here for 4 months, under two different management companies, I can say that I have never lived in a worse community. It all started on day one. Having moved from out of state, unable to view the apartment in person prior to moving in, I was shocked to find my move in ready apartment was missing smoke detectors, clearly hadnt been cleaned as there was food caked on the walls, window blinds were broken, door stops missing, toilet not properly sealed, water damage in the bathroom, among other issues that would take this entire review to list. Thankfully, a new head of maintenance took over the day after I arrived, and he did his best to get things squared away, but he is only one person. As it currently stands, there are only two maintenance staff covering a 200+ unit complex. Not only that, this complex has not had any routine maintenance done over the years and is falling apart, making it an impossible task for the current crew to maintain. The worst part is the new management. He (Isaac Huggins) could not possibly be more incompetent. He is also one of those people that, instead of making a logical argument, relies on yelling at tenants until they give up and go away. I have never come across a customer service agent who has treated his customers with such disdain. We as tenants are just numbers and he has no problem being racist/misogynistic when he feels nobody else is listening. He also uses the wonderful tactic of giving his word only to turn around and deny any conversation ever happened. If it isnt in writing, he wont take responsibility. I can go on about his unprofessionalism for days. How a company can keep someone like this on board is beyond me and doesnt bode well for Sares-Regis other properties.Other issues include frequent floods (not leaks, full on floods), elevators being shut down, water turned off, and paper thin walls. I could also mention that the hallways and stairwells always smell of urine, but that can reasonably be put on the tenants, and Ive piled on the horrific management enough already.Dont get me wrong, this community has a ton of potential (mostly alright location so long as the heroin clinic doesnt actually open, which would be right behind the complex if it does; solid gym; nice courtyard), but the horrible management by Isaac Huggins destroys any chance of that potential being reached.Get rid of Isaac and the community might stand a chance. Until then, learn from my mistake and stay far away. There are better choices within just a couple blocks in either direction.

I lived there for five years. Unfortunately, near the end of our tenure there, it was sold by Simpson housing to Sares-Regis.Sares Regis move out procedures is to report any utility or cleaning fee balances to a collections agency which will report it to your credit bureau. The agency, which you would think might be willing to mail you a final billing statement, does not. So the first time that you hear from them about any utilities or cleaning fees will come in the form of a very threatening phone call with your credit history as the hostage.I found out three months after I left the property that they had generated bills but never informed me of them. So, I was immediately in arrears. More over, upon researching the topic, I discovered that the state Attorney Generals office on conflict resolution, recuses themselves on tenant rights issues. One of the kickers was that Sares Regis own staff, on doing the final walk-through, said that the apartment was beautiful and that the carpet looked fine. So, color me surprised when they went through a collections agency to charge me a cleaning fee and a carpet replacement fee.Sadly, I have no clear recourse for these deceptive business practices. Massachusetts state law provides additional protections for consumers so that they cant be charged after the fact without warning. More over, interest has accrued on the balances which seems maddeningly self-serving by the collections agency which never sent me fair credit notifications of debts owed. They knocked off the interest after arguing about it and are flagging the matter as settled with payment by phone.I would be exceedingly cautious about entering into any business relationship with this corporation. I believe that they thrive in deceit and take advantage of their customers in an anti-consumer manner not tolerated in other states.

Being a resident here for only three weeks i must say it has been a horrendous experience. First of all the service given in the office is beyond ridiculously rude, Ive met with Cadence on many occasions who displayed a very rude, uptight personality. I am fully aware she is a female in her job and has to display a certain mannerism but her service was super rude. My fiance and i are owners of a pitbull mix (not a full breed) and apparently was on the restricted list. Coming from Buffalo NY all animals are welcome including PITS. Since humans have put forth the sterotype of this breed, Ive seen in Seattle how horrible they are treated, especially with the new laws in place with apartments having restricted breeds, this tends to put alot of preassure on the owners and the dogs. My fiance has shown the pictures of my mix breed to Candence which APPROVED THE DOG BECAUSE HE LOOKS LIKE A LAB. HOWEVER, when his paper work for his records were put forth, she denied him. And gave us a 10 day warning to get rid of my pit or leave which would be breaking the lease if i leave and would have to pay 4320 dollars. In society who has that money to dish out to pay due to a breed restriction, one i was not aware of and two you approved of my dog until the paper work was given. My next problem was my pit is socialized well with other dogs and children. Many times on this property when i walked my dog he was rushed by a golden reteriver, a dashcund, and three smaller breeds, and few which almost came in contact on bitting him. YET MY DOG RAN AWAY TRIMBLING HIDING BEHIND ME . Also to take note i did run into another pit who was also on the property but was a full blown pit. I am required to pay 4320 for breaking a lease of horrible costumer service to someone who can not do their jobs properly. This entire system needs to be revamp and also the entire cooperate in having unintelligent, rude uptight idiots who dont know anything about dogs and their behaviors. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone whose an animal lover.

The water gets turned off too often, the maintenence crew has been unreliable, and loud neighbors arent taken care of.

Overall its okay, having lived there 3ish years. Location is convenient for commutes to downtown Seattle. No place is perfect and most have about 3 stars. The new property management corporate could make this place rock, but theyve understaffed it. The people working here seem to be over capacity through no fault of their own, and theyre doing their best. Sandra is amazing and delightful (management), and so is James (maintenance). It has a convenient bus across the street to downtown Seattle via the 522 or 312 express bus. Fred Meyer is across the street. There are 100 permanent homeless housing units across the street, a food bank, and section 8 apartments nearby, but I never had issues. It seems safe, and Lake City has been rated one of the top 10 safest parts of Seattle. Its urban living so expect noise depending on which apartment unit you choose. If youre facing 522 thats a very busy four lane road with beeping/roaring buses and emergency vehicles. Dont let a quiet day or time of day create the wrong impression when touring units.Air pollution from heavy traffic on 522 tends to be moderate. Wind goes north and south, not east or west, so the pollution hovers around 522. Black brake, road, and exhaust dust will find its way to your balcony and onto everything. If youre facing 33rd AVE, youre facing the 100ish permanent homeless housing units and garbage truck pickup (i.e. expect noises and smells). Solara sometimes keeps the garbage bins out for days, not just one day.The garage was generally well kept. It can be tight if you have a large vehicle. Finding a spot was never hard and spots vary in size. They have a fire alarm problem, which you may experience about 3 times per year. The fire alarms arent heat sensing, so some cooking smoke will trigger evacuations and the fire department. One at 2am was caused by people burning food and opening their front doors into the hallways instead of venting via their windows. Another morning at 2am may have been caused by the security guard smoking pot in the stairwell because when I went there it was very smoky. Another was at 1am by someone who thought the fire alarm was a door opener. They tended to sometimes randomly shut off the water in order to do maintenance on others apartments in the building. The new Saris-Regis property management company seemed to not be as good as the last one which was Simpson Property Group. Saris-Regis seemed to care more about the investment into Seattles real-estate than properly funding and staffing. Demand for rental property is high so Saris-Regis corporate can afford to be mediocre.Having seen 3+ management companies at Solara, none seemed to effectively handle chronic barking dogs or noisy apartment neighbors. They tended to blame laws favoring tenants rights. One neighbor often played noisy video games (e.g. Mario) and watched movies (e.g. WWII with dog-fighting airplanes) until 4:00am. Another neighbor had a dog that would bark for 2+ hours into the hallway at 7am daily. The gym is large and useful. The downside is that the equipment is often neglected for replacements, repairs, or maintenance. Ive reported broken or problematic equipment many times with no action taken. Some weights were stolen by someone but not replaced, even if reported multiple times. The gym virtual training computer was unusable for 18+ months and may still be, even after repeated reporting.Lake City is slowly getting more livable. New bars/food are moving in. Thai One On is the best Thai food in Seattle!

They discrimate if you have section 8! I would save yourself the headache with these people and go somewhere else Im in the process of dealing with a civil rights investigator on these people. How can you be required to make 3x 1,996 a month which is 5,988 and get section 8 lol YOU CANT if you have section 8 your requirements are to make 3x your portion of the voucher! dont accept section 8 if your not going to follow the guidelines!

To start, I am not the type of person to normally post reviews. This is how much I despise living in this apartment now. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The new management that has taken over Solara is a joke. I have lived here for two years and the new management took over about a year ago. Since the new management has taken over, there has been no notice of painting/carpeting of the hallways, you just come home and you cant get into your apartment because they are laying carpet or painting your door. The secured facility has broken doors. Trash is all over the apartment complex. There is only one maintenance person to cover all three buildings so dont expect maintenance to ever fix anything in your apartment. Security no longer patrols. Ive been locked out of the building and the office gal just laughed at me stating that she was surprised anyone could get out in the first place as the doors had all been left locked by maintenance and no one could get in or out.No notice is ever given about anything. The leasing agents choose random hours to work and never notify when they will be in the office and when they wont be. My water is randomly shut off with no warning and Ive gone without hot water multiple times throughout the year. Air conditioning is blown in the hallways when it is freezing temperatures outside the building. And no one responds to any emails or calls made to the management office. And to top it all off, my car was broken into in a SECURED facility and a SECURED underground parking garage. When I called to report it to the management office, no one will call me back. When I called the emergency maintenance line yesterday, the guy essentially stated it was my problem. That they will try to get the camera footage. That they wont talk to the police. And oh yeah, theyve been having massive problems with this and multiple cars were broken into last week as well. They just didnt bother notifying the residents or let anyone know there was an issue. Maybe if the secured building had an actual door that locked, this wouldnt be an issue. Ive notified the office multiple times that the front door to the secured building is broken and their only excuse is Well, we paid to have it fixed, so its fixed. This is BS because I literally just walked through the broken door yesterday without having to unlock it. Their negligence is the cause of multiple problems throughout the complex and they refuse to address any of the issues that riddle these apartments. It has literally become an issue of safety living in these apartments and I no longer feel safe living here. Part of their selling point is that they are a secured facility and they jack up their prices because of all of this security. Dont let them lie to you like this.Do not waste your time or money going to these apartments or signing a lease with them. I absolutely adored living here, loved the area and loved my apartment, but the new management company ruined it for me and I am leaving at the end of my lease term in two weeks.
