When the new management rolled in they hired electrical contractors who didnt know what they were doing. Guy was running twice the power that was need to an outlet which couldve burned the complex down. Now Im having electrical problems in kitchen area, stove,garbage disposal and fridge went out and all my food went bad that I pay out of pocket for.

Since we moved here, we’ve had problems. It started with infestation roaches EVERYWHERE. I’m pretty sure there’s a leak somewhere too because there’s always hundreds of gnats in the apartment despite our efforts to get rid of them. The smell of mold is overwhelming. The doors to the rooms and bathrooms do not close because they are old. My car was also broken into and all the office could say way “we’re sorry to hear. you should make a police report. we don’t have cameras” instead of having police patrol the area or set up cameras for the safety and protection of their residents. Our rent is always changing. We’ve barely been living here for 2 months and I regret ever signing that lease because now they want to charge over 2k to break it despite all of the issues we’ve had. These are the WORST apartments I have ever lived in.

Alma Casas, you & anyone experiencing mold, or any other issues should be reported to code compliance. Trust Me you could break your lease due to neglect just be sure you have copies of any work orders or complaints that you have turned in. No one should have to live like that.

THE WORST, I had to flee these apartments due to no hot water in my unit for 2 weeks!! I had to boil water to bathe my kids and myself even with maintenance notified, horrified that maintenance went in tatted up young man and he stole my son’s iPad. I had to threaten to call the cops and only got it after I put out an alert on it. I got my car towed, because the paint was WAY faded all around the complex. I had to tell management to ask maintenance to paint the dang lines in the parking lot and told her my car got towed because of them. They admitted that at least 7 cars had been towed because the lines were faded. Also they sent out a eviction after I had left, why? Because I had full intention to renew prior to the issues starting coincidentally the issues began shortly after the 60 day notice period started to I told them as soon as maintenance didn’t fix the water issue that if it wasn’t resolved I would have to leave and not renew my lease. The water heater exploded in my unit and that’s why I was left without hot water for 2 weeks and without water for 1.

I want to express my deepest disappointment with this complex, I’ve been here for 3 years, and now my place was neglected from flood since it started in April of 2021 . I send multiple work orders and nothing has been done. I started getting sick from mold building up and I can’t have my children living with me which has caused me financial burden. I work from home so it’s been really hard working inside my apt . I will be filing a law suit .

Ive lived here a year and had a good experience with staff and the complex. they keep it clean and very friendly. If youre looking for a good quiet family oriented community Park West apartments is a good place to live.

I Love This Community! From the beginning step of looking and applying though their user friendly website all the way to finalizing my application was very easy. The website allows you to contact them with any questions to filling out a maintenance request to even paying your rent. Quite convenient but the real treat is their office staff... Miranda is friendly/knowledgeable/professional. The apartment is quite large, lots of storage space, newly renovated and gives a calm safe feeling. You couldnt go wrong living here. N.L.G.

Even though the whole application process they made sure I had what I needed to get my apartment. Im very pleased with the cleanliness of the pool through out the summer. I have been a resident here for coming up on 2 years. I can say that it feels like home to me and I cant necessarily say this about previous apartments Ive stayed in. The ladies that work up at the front office are always pleasant and willing to help, and do what they can to make the residents happy. I feel safe walking around at night and there are always people cooking out and kids playing. Some apartments dont seem to have this atmosphere. There have been some minor issues since Ive been here but they have been due to unruly residents and the issue is usually resolved with those individuals being removed in a timely fashion. Rent/Utility prices are very competitive and I feel I pay a reasonable amount. Location is perfect for those who walk, drive, or take public transit!

I love this apartment complex the management and staff here is really compassionate they do care about us if anything break they do fix it in a timely manner they are really professional and efficient I moved away before but I had to come back because you don’t get this kind of service everywhere and I really am happy to be living here at Park West Apartments they really take care of the apartments

My fiancé and I were interested in living here. We tried calling many times, but no one answered so we decided to just drop by and see if they took walk ins for tours. We walked into the leashing office and the lady handed us the key, pointed us to the apartment and pretty much said “just give yourself the tour.” Which is unprofessional in itself. We opened the door to the apartment and the first thing I noticed is that there had obviously been workers in the apartment recently, because there was paint and such laying around. That doesn’t bug me, I can see past that, but when I looked into the bedroom my jaw dropped. The entire floor was covered in sunflower seeds that the workers had been chewing and then spitting back out on the carpet. That is just nasty and I can not believe that is The condition of the apartment they would show to potential residents. Upon further inspection we found things such as freshly chewed gum stuck to the windows among other things.We informed the lady in the office about the condition of the apartment and she seemed appalled, but I just don’t know how you can send someone into an apartment like that and not if know what kind of condition it is in! Just overall not a good experience.

Been living here for over a year now. Maintenance request are responded in a timely manner and management follows-up to make sure requests have been fulfilled. The girls at the offices have always helped me out and have been very professional on taking care any issues Ive come across. Neighbors are friendly and the units are nicer than some of the other complexes Ive checked out in the area in the same price range.

At first i was shown an apartment model that was really nice. Hardwood floors nice and cleaned in the front room, fresh carpet in the bedroom, updated appliances, and the person showing it to me was nice and because of all of that i wanted to work with him. I signed the lease. The move in; So, after traveling from Wisconsin to Texas we finally reached our destination. Well the apartment was nothing like the model. It was fully carpeted, the appliances were old except for the stove, but unlike the model the appliances did not match. The dishwasher did not work and it took them 6 months to fix it. The AC went out, so they gave me a window unit. Not to mention when i got to move in the, guy was gone. New management that was terrible and was not professional. My faucet in the bathroom was stripped and it took a whole new maintenance crew months to fix. My tub was rusted and hard to turn off. I kept asking for a water bill, but was told by the people in the office they will take care of it. I did not receive a water bill until 2018. I moved in June 2017. what really made me mad was when a new management in 2018 started and they towed my vehicle. there was never a tow truck in sight when i moved in until the new year. There are no signs saying i couldnt park in that spot and others used to park there all the time and still do. I emailed corporate about is, but no response. So, to get my money back i filed to take them to court. Now today, i received an eviction noticed after i paid more than half the rent because i left out the amount it took to get my car out the pound. I did that until the court hearing. I am not gonna say or tell anyone not to move in. Just be careful!!

Would not recommend these apartments to anyone. couldn’t even stand living here for a full year, moved out 2 months early. LOTS OF HUGE ROACHES! BED BUGS!! several times they would come into my apartment when i was not there without letting me know they were coming and without leaving a note that they were there .i would have to hassle front desk people to do anything, hardly ever answer my emails or phone calls. very outdated, all throughout, counter was so close to the kitchen that it blocked the refrigerator door from opening more than halfway. the whole bathtub and bathroom sink was painted over with wall paint and was peeling all over. windows wouldn’t open and didn’t have screens, requested to have screens put in but they put in one screen that didn’t fit and just left it there hanging. bathroom towel rack was broken, they came to “fix” it and it broke again about a week later. water heater broke and water went all over my bedroom. took far too long for them to come fix it. water heater in the apartment above mine broke and water came down into my room again. no microwave, had to buy my own. neighbors getting into fights and police coming to arrest people. don’t waste your money or time here, very trashy place.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! they change manager every month or so. I signed a lease for an apartment but when it came time to move in somehow they had given away the apartment I had put the deposit down for and so I watched The employee throw the old lease away and I signed a new one for a different apartment because I had already paid my deposits and had nowhere else to go. When it came time for me to move out on the front desk girl said on my lease there was no security deposit written in and it wasnt in the computer system. Therefore unless I found my receipt or other proof I couldnt get my deposit back. I have found the receipt as its attached but when I went back the girl was gone so I talked with the manager and she said there was nothing she could do because she had only been here a week and if its not input into the computer she didnt know what to do. How doe the employee know more than the manager! My itinerary lists somehow got lost with my other paper work. The LEASING OFFICE LOST ALL MY PAPERS and there are no records of all the damage the apartment had. I was MOVED INTO AN APARTMENT THAT WASNT CLEANED AND THE DOOR DIDNT LOCK the windows were blackened with smoke and the wall. The apartment was falling apart. The blind were busted, the employee assured me they would fix it within a week. It took 7 months just for my door to finally lock. I never agreed to this apartment the apartment I agreed to was given away and I got stuck in a hell pit because I had nowhere else to go. they took advantage of me because I am just 18 and a college student. they had the nerve to say I didnt give a deposit when I did and they didnt put it in the system they didnt keep proper records. THEY NEVER GAVE ME BACK MY DEPOSIT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE RECEIPTS BUT THEY LOST THE PAPER WORK. THEY SCAM YOU FOR MONEY AND DONT UP KEEP THE APARTMENT. ALSO COCKROACH INFESTED!!

This is the first time I’ve lived on my own after getting divorced two years ago. I was scared, overwhelmed with bills and accustomed to a very comfortable lifestyle. Park West has managed to work with me through all my hardships I’ve had getting back on my feet and keep me comfortable. The staff is very helpful and prompt. Maintenance man showed up at the appointed time and was very respectful and kind. He finished his job successfully and cleaned up his mess in a timely manner. I’m happy to call this place home after going through so much in life. I hope my next experience is very similar. God bless you all!

I lived there for 3yrs I loved it no problems and if I had a matience problem they come fix things quickly, the management there was great they were very nice to me I hate to move but the only reason I moved I needed more space for my clothes and if I had that I wouldve not move, roaches a little under control but they will always be there in any apartment u move in they need to spray thank you will miss all ur staff!

This is the worst apartment ever in San Antonio after signing a lease for 12months your first day In the apartment the air condition was not working the toilet was damage the carpet wasnt clean and In fact the light bulb was out the whole apartments was disgusting and if you call for them to fixed up anything damage in your apartment it will take them probably 2weeks or more to get it fixed I had over 2000 cockroaches in my apartment so many times when I come back from work there wouldnt be water in my apartment and when I called theyll say they were sorry and it would take them couple of hours to get water in my apartment this parkwest apartment complex is a nightmare. Too bad

These managers don’t act like they have any experience in management. They can’t answer emails or any type of messaging I send them, and because of they they try to screw me over every month. Wishing I’d never signed a lease here and regretting it for the next 9 months.

Property is very nice, a lot of improvements have been made in the past several months, office staff is always helpful and maintenance is always done in a reasonable time. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice apartment at a reasonable price.

This place is a good value. Miranda and the other staff is working to do things right. Recently they trimmed up all of the Palm Trees and it really improved the look.

I know there are a bunch of bad reviews and I was hesitant to move here 3 months ago, but none of what the reviews have claimed is true! The office is AMAZING and very friendly, pool is always clean as are the grounds. Maintenance provides excellent service in a timely manner. Even after hours! The courtesy officer is seen often in the evenings cycling around the property. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. The dog park is always kept up as is the childrens playground! Major shout out to Trinity and the staff!!!

Do not move here. Listen when people say dont move here. This is the worst apartments I ever lived in. I just recently just move in and there was so many roaches and bugs all over. Not only that but a bees nest outside my window. My kitchen doesnt work like the fridge doesnt get cold so food spoils and have to order takeout everday and the dishwasher doesnt work at all and is covered in mold. Theres a leak in the bathroom. I put in 3 maintenance request 3 weeks almost 4 weeks ago and they still havent fix the problem. Though the staff there is nice they dont know what they are doing. Each person tells me a different thing and I get screwed in the end. There are hidden fees when you move in. Just last week I was told I owe money and have 2 days to pay it or I get fine when I was told I didnt have to pay it when I moved in. These are the worst apartments, especially being my first apartment ever. Im trying to get out of my lease which is really sad when I just move in. 0 stars

New management. The girls in the leasing office are extremely professional and are always on top of things. My maintenance request are usually responded to within the same day no later than 24 hours. Any issue I have experienced are handled swiftly. I work odd hours during their business hours and cant have my phone on me but their resident portal makes it easy and convenient for me to communicate with the apartment manager via email. As long as you are transparent and communicate with them they are always willing to help you.For the most part my neighbors are cordial but we keep to ourselves. Its not a lot of riff raff or heavy foot traffic.No pest issues or parking problems and the grounds keeper is always monitoring the complex.

Roaches, check.dirty, check.ghetto neighbors, check.mold, check.how in the world people live here is beyond my understanding. I helped my sister move in. I felt bad when I walked in and the balcony ceiling is corroding, the living room ceiling has water spots painted over, roaches bit her all night her first night, I got super congested the night I stayed over, I couldnt breathe, and I never have breathing issues. to make matters worse, black mold was found in one of the closets. oh, and her friends downstairs neighbor was murdered the other day... if you dont mind these living conditions, Park West Apartments are for you, but if you honor the sanctity of life and the pursuit of happiness, then please dont sign up. if anyone else knows of a better place to live, please reply. new to town and went by the website. no. the photos on the website are not the real thing. thats just a model apartment. I believe everyone here probably lives like animals under these conditions.

The property is changing completely, not what it used to be. The new park is nice& the complex outdid itself with the amenities. My children love it.

I think they have made some very many nice improvements such as the Dog Park and new Pit-Deck area. Well done.

Model unit looks nothing like the real thing so make sure you see a real ready to move in unit, the management for some reason changes every month or so. BUGS! And I mean all kinds! Walls are very thin. I use to hear my neighbor alarm clock go off very early in the morning. One last thing...keep your valuables locked up while gone because maintenance is sneaky then a MF

When I first moved in these apartments were pretty nice and I loved the pool definitely for the hot days, and now the pool is always dirty and green now so thats one amenity that is gone and also the gym closes at 5:30 when the people leave so its hard to even use that amenity that they showed me when I first moved in and also the contract work that they hire is a total joke! They dug up all this dirt and sand and put it in the parking spaces and left it and its been a MONTH!!! My car is dirty everyday due to the big pile of crap infront of my apartment and others apartments and Ive told the administration plenty of times and called and they do the run around for information (next week) (they are about to start cleaning it) excuses is all I hear and its getting rediculous that we pay all this money for amenities and do not even get to use them. Also Ive been killing bugs almost everyday because of all the dirt that is in front, and it makes my place look a mess, I wouldnt even want to bring friends over because it looks trashy! WE NEED A CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT ASAP!

Roaches all over the place from day one, yet they have the audacity to charge you a pest control fee. The apartments are in horrendous condition. I literally have 76 pictures of everything wrong with my apartment, a copy of the inventory sheet stating each and every one of the 76, and they have yet to fix one thing. God forbid you should be late on your rent. I paid 550 of the 700 I owed on the third, with the remainder being paid a day or two later, which - in accordance with the lease, spared me from any late fees. They charged me over 500 dollars in fees any way, half of which was court fees just for them filing. Never had an apartment do that. When I tried to talk with them, excuses and constant talking over you. Asked for the corporate number, apparently its on the website according to Priscilla. Nope, its not, so theyll lie to your face as well. Called to find out from the head manager miranda, constant talking over me, despite wanting to know what my concern was. In other words, how can I shut you down today. But hey, at least they have some winning customer serv-sorry, I just threw up a bit in my mouth trying to say that with a straight face. Actually, they are incredibly rude, disrespectful and obnoxious. More than one occasion priscilla has bad mouthed my father. Dont live here, cardboard boxes are of higher quality and living standards.Update: so covid forced me to renew back in December, let me tell you whats been going on. So I still have the inventory sheet from the original lease with all the issues that have yet to be fixed. 2 1/2 years later. One of those issues is a warped bathroom floor that became rot back in November last year and traveled up the wall. Maintenance never came. But even better, the apartment management company switched to a new management company, and on Monday my ac unit went out. Same ac unit that has barely done anything to begin with. Now its literally 90 degrees in my apartment, I put the request in on Monday and guess who still hasnt shown up? Im sure my 95 pound dog really appreciates the sauna, but its not necessary. And oh look, notice how the owners responded to this review? Without leaving any contact details, like an email? Seriously, dont move here. Best part about the latest issue is while it shows on the app that two requests have been put in for maintenance, it doesnt show what the reason for it is (ac unit). Meaning, if you try to seek litigation, theres no way to prove that you actually put in a request for maintenance due to the ac unit. Good thing I record my phone calls.2nd update: it is now 10 days since my initial maintenance request, the internal temp is reaching over 95 degrees during the day, and all that has happened is a maintenance person came by, saw that the ac unit is not working, told me he would bring a portable unit, and never showed up. I called them today, they told someone would be by today and that I was their priority, and no one showed. If youre thinking of moving here, do yourself a favor and dont.

I was told that my apartment would be ready on friday.in fact I was promised by the manager! I arrived and apartment looked like @(!# finally got a call from manager saying sorry for it not being ready. SORRY is a useless word it doesnt make things better. Dont trust anything you are told its like going to purchase a new car and driving home in a beaten up POS.

Called them (Sunday)The day before New Year’s Eve because my heater froze over... yes you read that correct. The heater froze over like I was running the AC and started smelling like burning rubber. I turned it off on the thermostat but the actual unit would not turn off until I cut the breaker off. Called the emergency after hours maintenance, they showed up and all they could tell me was that “somehow” the heater and AC coils were working together and he could disconnect the AC coils from the unit outside. Still kept smelling like burning rubber so I never turned it back on that night. New Years night I come home and try to turn on my heater and right away smells like it’s burning so I turn it off again. Here we are Thursday night, I come home and see they replaced the thermostat on the wall, yet now I have NO HEATER AT ALL. At the point it won’t even turn on. I again call emergency after hours (because it’s 64 inside my apartment) and she tells me she can’t send them to my apartment unless it’s below 55 outside? Are you kidding me?? They get here look around and don’t have an answer for me. Just tell me they’ll send someone tomorrow to look at it again and bring me a small space heater that I’m supposed to used in the mean time... I don’t pay monthly rent to not be able to use my heater when it’s 43 outside. It’s ridiculous that it’s taken almost a week for them to fix my heater.

I would advise anyone to not sign a lease here, based on my own experience two years ago.Management on several occasions refused to honor the terms of the lease because A previous manager signed that lease - not us - so we are not legally obligated to honor it., and refused to provide any sort of receipt for my notice of intent not to renew the lease, stating that they arent allowed to sign anything *for any reason* unless the company lawyer is present. They did not give in until I threatened to pursue action with the city for violations of State Local lease and rental laws.Management also did not fix any of the issues in the unit we reported (prior to the move in), and then conveniently *lost* the Maintenance Inventory paper we filled out and claimed that we never turned one in (despite the fact that we have, albeit to a different property manager and office staff only a month prior). Such issues included a roach problem (sighted and reported prior to us moving in), exposed wires on a light fixture hanging out of a hole in the ceiling of the back porch, and the fan in the master bedroom being barely held into the ceiling.Several packages delivered to the main office were also *lost* for several months before being located by office staff, after which we were informed.Due to a mishap that occurred when an ISP was installing cables on the property, several units (mine included) were without water for several days at a time. Management did nothing to remedy this and informed us that is was not their problem nor responsibility, and that we should take this up with the company digging the cables.

Sick and wierd staff.Maintenance workers are racist.Not a safe or clean place.Dont get me started on roaches or How no one does their job there.Any 5 star reviews are by the staff and fake people. Which I have made a report and claim with petition with the Govt.Gilbert & 2 other workers ( Maintenance Leader & Management will be further investigated )Dont move here, and if you do, take pictures and do a thorough walk threw of the apartment. I wish I wouldve done more documentation when I moved there. But Im glad I dont live there. My life is better and Im happy I decided to move out of that dump.

Really bad management, or maybe the maintenance department doesnt exist, 3 days waiting for them to fix a BIG water leak at the shower and counting, they did remaind me that am responsible for paying for the water bill..., too many other issues to mention, ... Am leaving!Update,,, finally after 14 days they fixed the water leak and only because there was water leaking to apartment downstairs,. I still have to pay for all that water...:

This place is terrible. All of the people that work there are very incompetent specially the management. Stay away! Oh ! And be careful, you may not owe the amount of money they say. Always keep records of your payments.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!These are the grossest overpriced apartments i have ever lived in. They dont fix anything, the aprtments smell like weed. And the staff is beyond useless.

True about lousy management. Maintenance almost impossible to receive with several requests ignored.Discrimination in renting.

Do not move here!Moved here in 2014 and about to leave in a couple weeks.My experience with park west has been terrible.There has been 3 different managements since I have been here, and none of they hem know anything about taking care of theit residents,They clearly dont know how to run a business and be professional, none of them.They take a month to come fix anything and if they do, its a half ass job.The apartment complex looks like crap, overfilled dumpsters, cars parked that clearly dont run, cops are here every other week, heb carts laying around, people dumpster diving for cans, residents out late night playing music and drinking by their cars.If you dont want to deal with all this crap and their unprofessional management dont even think about looking intoPark West.

Defiantly a lot cleaner then old managementis not as bad as everyone makes it seems maintenance finally has someone that knows what theyre doing! and the office always has food :)
