I have been coming here for a couple months again as I enjoy the atmosphere and love having Madison do my nails. I understand people get sick and they had to cancel me, but it went down hill after that. I was told oh we will reschedule you with Madison, not sure when you’ll do that since she is totally booked until September and I don’t work/live close. I also would come in every two weeks since my nails grew super fast so I rather not pay $80 bucks to have them taken off a week later. I told them to cancel and I went somewhere else to get my nails done on Saturday the 7th. I now am looking through my bank statement today and I was charged $70 for their paint program that I haven’t even used and was very mislead when I signed up that i get charged for it when I get my nails actually done, not just when they feel like charging me. I haven’t been there now since July and am being charged $70 bucks for the month of august that I haven’t even used! I just want my money back for this program that hasn’t/won’t be used and truly will not be returning here after giving them multiple tries over the course of a couple years. Honestly save your money and time, it’s not worth going here!

Kat did an amazing job with my simple design gel manicure! I love them and get so many compliments every single day! Angie the owner, is so sweet and runs a beautiful salon! Im definitely signing up to be a member at my next appointment!

I walked in and although they were not able to fit me in, I was greeted right away by a very friendly receptionist. She did everything she could to halp me. If I would have been in the area longer, I definitely would have booked an appointment.

I LOVE PAINT. Years ago I was hopping around different salons and honestly, getting my nails done I never looked forward to the actual experience of it, I was just looking forward to the finished product. Starting going to Paint I think in 2018(?) and since day 1, Angie and her team have been so kind and fun!! I have been coming back religiously since then. So many talented techs but Sarah is a freaking rockstar. I ALWAYS look forward to my nail appointments because I know I’m going to sip my mimosa and have a Kiki with Sarah ✨ the whole energy is so inviting and don’t even get me started on how natural the products are!! But GEL ALL THE WAY, don’t mess with polish sweetie, you need gel if you want that nail longevity honey 💅🏻💅🏻 Will always be a loyal Paint client 💗 love love love love Paint and you totally will too 🥂

Overpriced, rude and not friendly. Was uncomfortable the whole time I was there. And the quality of my pedicure was really poor compared to what they advertise. Unfortunately, I wanted a luxurious treatment and instead I got scolding for wanting a full set and rushed through the whole experience. Never again.

There is no healthier environment you can go to to get your nails done in Birmingham than Paint.

The people make this salon :) and space is well thought out and happy! Everyone on their staff was exceptional, it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The build out is beautiful, it was comfortable and the staff was so gracious.

Madison is the best nail tech. Period. She does wonderful work. The salon is always clean and staff is always friendly. Its a beautiful place to have a mimosa and relax.

Really bad, I have important occasions and I booked but they canceled because the lady that should serve me have emergency (sick) but they didn’t have back up for their customer but they told me when I booked if I cancel and they don’t find anyone to take my spot they will charge me whole price?? Unfair

Had a great experience with Meagan today. She did an amazing job on my nails and toes and was very quick. The salon was very clean and I think they are doing a great job of making people feel comfortable in the post COVID world. Thank you!**Updating my review to add that when I was leaving they asked if I wanted to schedule my next visit. I reluctantly agreed since I was concerned that I may not be able to get another appointment. The woman did not tell me when I booked that they were going to charge me 40.00 if I had to reschedule my appointment. Had I known they would almost charge the full service fee I never would have scheduled so far in advance. Such is life, things do come up and change especially for working moms. This was disappointing and I won’t return even though my service and experience was great the first time.

Went to this place to get acrylics. my nails were lumpy and all of them came off within three days. Do not go to this place I paid 80$ for acrylics with a simple paint nude color. REDICULOUS price!!!!! and was totally not worth it other places charge 40$ and they last 2 weeks!!. save yourself some money. employees were very nice but i think i had a new girl who didn’t do too good of a job.

Went for the first time and saw Merina. She was so sweet and gave me an amazing pedicure. The place is super cute and clean. I will definitely be back!

I tried out the paint nail bar and at first I absolutely loved it the atmosphere is amazing it’s beautifully decorated and they offer you mimosas coffee and sparkling water which I thought was a great touch. They are all about non harsh and more healthy polishes for your nails so they only have one specific brand of gel they use there. I thought the idea was great, but the polish chipped two days after getting it and they do offer free repairs so I went in and got two nails repaired but a day later two more nails chipped and the polish just peels right off. I went back to my old nail salon and just got my nails completely redone there which lasts more than two weeks. I don’t have the time to go back and keep getting my nails repaired that’s ridiculous. Good idea, needs improvement.

Jullie was great! Super sweet and paid attention to detail and gave me beautiful nails even with a damaged nail. She took her time and made sure I had a beautiful finish.

I had an appointment with Madison and she is great! She pays attention of the details. She confirmed if everything was being done according to my expectations.

Had to wait longer than my appointment time, then on top of that I scheduled myself and mom with specific people and we were put with someone else. My moms nails which cost $70....looked sloppy, bumpy and horrible (poor mother of the bride...). My nails chipped after 5 days and my moms nail fell off after 4 days....Also I specially came here since they use products that don’t damage nails, or are less harsh on the nails. Well my nails have NEVER looked worse after a gel manicure. My moms also look terrible and both of our keeps breaking. And I was there for 3 hours for a gel mani and pedi.....insanity to all of it and absolute waste of money. Everyone was kind but just terrible aside from that. I’m not looking for kindness, I want quality.

We were very happy when my daughter got her first gel mani but when we went back for the free gel soak we were told it was $10 since we didnt purchase additional services. This was never said to us when we booked our initial mani. In fact the owner told us more than once that the soak was free without saying anything about the condition that you have to purchase additional service. I know $10 is small change and would pay it gladly but I dont like being duped or hidden fees.

Up until I started going to Paint, manicures were a once a year treat for me. Polish/gel from other places never lasted more than a couple of days and the attention to detail was always lacking resulting in flakey cuticles and mismatched nail shapes. One appointment with Madison changed my tune! Im officially a regular now, with my perfect manicure that lasts 3 weeks with NO babying. Plus, Madison is really awesome with on-trend nail art ideas. The entire experience is amazing as soon as you walk in the door! The salon itself is fresh, clean, and beautiful with zero fumes. Their high-end products are much healthier and have some serious staying power that Ive never experienced before. In addition, Angie is the best host and will make sure your mimosa is in your hand before youve even picked a nail color.

The only place you should go! I have been to PAINT three times now and each experience was wonderful! I have tried the gel, sculpted gel, and regular polish and I love them all. The environment is clean, beautiful, friendly, and glamorous. The nail techs are all very capable and friendly as well. I highly recommend PAINT! Thank you for providing a sanitary sanctuary for manis and pedis.

Scheduled A nail appointment for 8 people three weeks prior to the date, when we walked in they said the appointment was canceled. It has already been planned for my friends birthday party, instead we went to Annie’s Salon and Spa and had a great time!

This is a lovely space and atmosphere, and the nail artists, waxists, and owner (Angie) could not be nicer. After years of damaging my nails on and off with dip powder that required half of my natural nail to be Dremeled off, my nails are finally healthy and strong with the help of BioSeaweed gel. My gel manicures from Paint also last forever—I get about a month out of my negative space and French manicures. My eyebrows always look polished and proportional—never overplucked or tormented—and the nail artists always do a great job of running with whatever crazy design I bring in from Instagram or Pinterest. I love the ability to book online; Paint is the first nail salon in the area to get with the times and offer this type of scheduling. It’s great to walk right in and relax in a fume-free environment—like a brunch spot without the noise or grease.
