Called in and was able to get an appointment the same day. Prices are very reasonable; I got a cut + a wash for only $25 + tip. Kelly cut my hair and I am very pleased with the result. I came in for something very different than what Im used to and she was so kind and patient. Side note: before coming here I hated having layers, now I know what nicely done layers look and feel like :)

The owner, Peter, was amazing and so kind! He cut mine and my husbands hair quickly but perfectly at the same time, and they turned out amazing! Normally Im not a fan of shoulder length hair on myself, but he made me feel so confident! Highly recommend!

Im korean and came in for a 2 block hair cut. The stylist was not aware of the cut, but after showing him some pics and a description, he got it down great! He worked with me each step of the way to make sure things were looking good and I couldnt be happier! As long as youre not shy and tell him exactly what you want, youll come out satisfied. Definitely recommend this place!

Ive only gone here for pedicures but it is the most relaxed enjoyable ones Ive ever had. They take their time..no rushing you in & out. The whole salon has a positive friendly atmosphere.

I am probably never going again to Encore salon. I got my hair cut there and my mother told me that it wavy. The bottom was supposed to be straight and it was not. One side was significantly shorter than the other, and I went right away to a different salon to fix it. The ladies that fixed my hair told me they had to take pictures of my hair because they have never seen someone’s hair that badly cut. They told me to walk in there and show the owner. There were pieces of my hair that was longer then the rest and was uneven, honestly it looked terrible. I still have the pictures of my hair before and sometimes I show people and they can not believe it.The woman that cut my hair said that she had OCD and always makes sure that its even on both sides. When she was finished cutting my hair, she did not check, and failed to see that one side was shorter than the other.

It was great! They made sure my hair looked perfect. I went from long hair that was almost to my hips to just above shoulders. They put layers in like I asked but kept them long in case I was nervous about the shortness. My experience was fantastic!

I see Stephanie. She is amazing with her understanding of hair color, highlighting and when to use these processes. She was able to fix the straw effects and damage to my hair from my last stylist who over processed, attached extensions wrong ( Stephanie has removed them and my hair looks as full and long as when they were in!!) and reshaped a style that suits my busy lifestyle. She is an artist as she keeps my hair looking AMAZING... As told by clients, family and friends!

Every time I go there everyone is so nice and the prices are awesome! I have a cowlick and I wanted to try wispy bangs the lovely hair dresser told me how to style them so you cant see the cowlick. Awesome place and awesome people, should defiantly give it a shot.

I have been going to Encore since the very first year it opened! The staff is not only experts but personal. They strive to make sure you are not only happy with your new look but excited to show it off as you walk out the door to go show it off. I have been to Encore for your basic haircut, highlights, color, prom and wedding up dos as well as my updo for my baby shower. I recommend them to all new Rochesterians, current, and any of out of town college students! Encore only the only salon in Rochester to choose.

I would give it a zero. I asked for a gel manicure with a design. Didnt get my nails cleaned or even my cuticles cut or soaked, she completely skipped the manicure part and the design I got was nothing like what I asked for AT ALL! And when i got home and really looked at the nails she didnt even paint the whole nail all the sides were bare. Then I asked for a style of hair but with a different color, the dresser just gave me some omber design that made the ends look like they were washed too many times and all the color came out again not what I asked for. I asked them to correct it and her response was oh it didnt look right to me either but I was just going to leave it. I ended up with something I could have gotten from a $10 box of color from walmart. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I strongly recommend you dont either!

I would give it 0 stars if i could. Came here to get a new style for my hair, but left looking like a 2 year old took scissors to it. Id much rather them tell me that they cant do the style i wanted than for them to cut more than half of my hair off and then tell me that my hair to too straight. My biggest regret is coming to this place. Now im desperately searching for a place to fix the hack job they did, but im terrified it will be as bad as this place.
