My maid of honor and I (bride) got our hair and makeup done here. Desiree did a fantastic job turning my thin hair into a voluminous bun with curls. I felt beautiful for my wedding!It does seem a little hit-or-miss with which products they use; another time when I was here they used a hair spray that didnt hold curls nearly as well. But the prices are very reasonable, and the location is convenient.

This was the first time I have ever been to this salon. I would definitely recommend Areille. She did an amazing job on my cut and color. In fact, I thought my color was a little too light for my liking. Without question, she was very happy and willing to fix it for me. Very kind and sweet!!! Thank you so much.

I have been going to blue H20 for more than a year. Their hair stylists are always friendly. The atmosphere is calm. They provide their customers with free water and coffee. My new stylist, Skyler, is great! She was patient with my hair decisions and spent the time coloring my long hair. I would definitely recommend this place!

This salon used to be my go to place for a quick eyebrow wax. But their staff turnover has made it hard to get consistently good service. Today was the worst. I asked to keep my natural shape and just have her clean up around then and maybe a little at the ends. Nothing drastic. Half of the top of my right eyebrow was ripped off- leaving me with a weird shape until it grows back. Also had to clean up what she missed myself with a tweezers. All for $15?! Never going back.

I had a great experience at Blu H2O! I recently moved to Rochester and was nervous about finding a good salon that I can trust with my hair, and I definitely have. Arielle was awesome and the highlights she did look amazing. All the staff were friendly and the salon had a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend going to Blu H2O salon!

We ended up here so my wife could have a close hair cut before the chemo would cause hair loss. The salon was clean and comfortable. The staff were very empathetic. As a cancer patient there was no charge. If I need a hair cut in the next few weeks I am definitely going to get it done here.

I look forward to traveling to Minnesota from the West Coast just so I can get my hair done by Arielle!! She always fits me in & has done the best job on my highlights!! She is so talented & sweet. The salon is such a clean & beautiful atmosphere too.

The atmosphere is very relaxing and Logan was great! She was super personable and sweet. She listened to what I wanted done to my hair and let me know what she was planning to do before we started. Very glad I found Blu H2O Salon!

Nice & clean salon, but I recommend going elsewhere for bridal party hair & makeup. Appointments ran long as stylist was late to arrive despite having a trial run a few weeks prior & calling to confirm one week before. The staff was apologetic and the hair turned out well, but everything just felt rushed and wasnt the experience we were hoping for before a wedding.

Erika gave me the most amazing hair upgrade after a different salon messed it up. She committed 5 hours of her day to help me out and it turned out better than I imagined! All the girls in the salon were welcoming and the atmosphere is beautiful. Totally worth the price, I will never go to another salon in Rochester!

As an exchange student it is hard to find a good hairdresser and salon. I went here after recommendations from colleges. I had a great experience, my hair stylist Emily Kahl cut and colored my hair wonderfully. She really took the time, assessed intermediately and made sure it was the way I wanted it. Let me start by saying how badly I wanted to love this salon. Id seen it several times, read some really great reviews and was really excited to get my hair cut here.I still dont know my stylists name. It was my first time going to this salon, the stylist didnt introduce herself and she was pleasant enough. It was definitely obvious that she wasnt as good at the small talk as some stylists are. This didnt really bother me too much, but for what this salon charges, I feel the stylists need to have the extra special touch to make a client feel special and valued.I have just barely shoulder length hair. I asked the stylist to cut in some long layers, and to trim my side-swept bangs. We didnt change anything on the length of my hair. My appointment started at 6:45pm, and I was already out in my car by 7:15pm. The only product I bought was mousse, and my bill was $75. The stylist also made mention of being a first time customer, the bang trim was free.I was really put off by this. If I am getting a haircut, my bangs are a part of my hair. I didnt say anything to the stylist, because I mainly just wanted to leave. I could understand if I had gotten a wax and asked for a bang trim, and she brought it up then. But I had gotten a haircut.When I left, I was asking about a few products I was interested in. The main one they did not have in stock; the stylist and receptionist were talking about how they were out of everything. The receptionist was also wearing what I considered an inappropriately short dress/romper for a job. It was so short that when I initially saw her, I thought she was in short nightgown.My overall impression of this salon is that it probably is good, but I felt there was some unprofessional behaviors for a place that considers itself a premium salon, with premium prices.

Im not one for beauty salons, but Ive never seen the business not like to take my money. this place is awful, I called spoke to a gal who answered the phone named Payton. all she could say is no no no. Offer no other days, made it very clear she wanted off the phone and to hang up.Gus and I have done lots of real estate deals and I cant believe he let a place like this in his place. I tried to buy my daughter some salon services, and all they can say is no no no were all full. I asked to speak to the manager and the owner, said they were busy but call me back, never did. my wife emailed them and no response. unbelievable the place can be full that have such bad service.I will certainly let my buddy Gus Chafoulias know. Maybe we can help folks down the road with a new salon that wants the business!

Great staff. This is a great resource if you are having your wedding at the DoubleTree Hotell. As a wedding photographer, that are always great for my videographer and I to work with. My wedding partys alwes look wonderful after having hare and makup at Blu H20.

We went to Blu H20 Salon for wedding up-dos as a bridal party. Location was very convenient to the Doubletree Hotel DT Rochester! The receptionist and stylists were extremely welcoming and I loved my stylist Arielle! Lots of volume just like I requested!

No welcoming greeting, no beverage offered, receptionist had no idea what she was supposed to be doing, hair stylist messed up my hair cut, didnt even get a 360 of the whole hair cut when she was finished just was sent straight to pay of course I didnt realized I was rushed out when I got to my car & then at home I checked the back with a mirror & clearly was cut soooo uneven ! What a waste of 42$ .... called back the next day & when someone answered it was dead silent so I hung up and called back 3x with it then going straight to voice mail. Wanted to come back so they could fix the haircut but ended up going else where paying again just to have my hair cut from blu h2o fixed. One of my worst experiences yet. Definitely not coming back here no thank you.

The girl in the reception is very dishonest in their pricing, they asked me to pay more than what I am supposed to pay and when I asked her to tell me in details about the services with their rates, she pretends that she doesnt know refering to the other working girls, I talk with her and she was so disrespectful especially if you are Arab or muslim, they think that they can just expoit you and take all your money..👎
