Place was immaculate. Sam gave best hair cut I have had in years and it had gotten long and she never cut my hair before. Extremely recommended, ask for Sam! P.S. use tea tree oil products, great stuff, green bottles.

First of all I asked for a simple cut a 4 guard on the side and a 5 guard on the top it was very unprofessional I payed for MVP and didnt get it and they used a 2 guard instead of what I asked for

Very easy registration process on a tablet with a keyboard. Visual display for how long before youre ready for your hair cut. Lots of TVs with college football on. It appears to be mens cuts only. Boys 10 and under and men 65 and wiser $16. Else $19 for haircut or $25 to also include a hot towel, shampoo and to and awkward neck massage from an egg beater. Hair cut didnt have obvious mistakes which I cant say the same for great clips, but for $19 I can get a better hair cut from a salon.

The lady cutting my hair rushed. Multiple lines in fade and lef tufts of hair clearly visible. Not worth $25. Would expect this from great clips or a new cosmetology student. Do yourself a favor and go to the barbershop in the east ridge mall around the corner. Only 15 and they will hook you up.

I know some of you have had bad experiences with Sport Clips because 100 percent of mine have been until today. It was my 1st time getting a haircut at this Sport Clips location and everything went well the whole time. This location of Sport Clips I give 5 stars in general, not just because its the only good sport clips location.

I am not a person to post reviews of places, but let me say that Sport Clips in Gastonia is an outstanding place to receive hair cutting services. Back in November, I received a clean head shave and beard trim from Samantha and she did a phenomenal job! Also, today, I went back after roughly 3 1/2 months to receive a beard trim from Christina, who was very friendly, kind, considerate, and performed phenomenally upon trimming my beard! As far as I can see for the near future, I will always be going to Sport Clips in Gastonia to receive beard/facial hair trims. Christina also introduced me to a wonderful beard oil that smells like cologne that I bought! Its awesome to know that I dont have to completely shave my beard off at home, but I can go to such a wonderful establishment to receive my beard trims throughout the year in Sport Clips of Gastonia, NC.

The ladies here are super sweet! Of course thats not all they are! They give really good cuts and are very attentive to their customers. I personally didnt get a cut, but saw: how clean they kept the establishment sweeping and mopping in between clients, how they all (no matter what they were doing) smiled and greeted whomever walked in, and also just overall how professional they were. I had a great experience. And I gave 4 stars solely because I didnt personally receive a haircut.

A more enjoyable haircut experience compared to a great clips or famous hair in my opinion. Still a quick in and out if that’s what you’re looking for but what sets them apart is the MVP that includes a wash and shampoo with a hot towel on the face and then a quick shoulder massage with a handheld machine. (no deep tissue here if that’s what you want) results may vary by stylist but I’ve been open to whoever was first available and have never been let down by the end result. As with all haircuts, if you want something specific done to your hair make sure you provide specific directions.

Went to get a haircut at this location today and hands down the best one ibe been in yet. Everyone here was nice and welcoming. Amanda gave me my haircut and she did a phenomenal job. She listened to what I wanted, took her time and it turned out great. I will deff be back and recommend this location and her. I look forward to my next cut!!!!

I am a regular sport clips customer and plan to continue using them for my haircut needs. They may not be the cheapest, but they sure do a great job every time. I usually see Bridget for my hair needs (who is awesome), but this last visit I was lucky enough to have Chelsea cut my hair and beard. She took her time with me and made recommendations on ways to improve my “look”. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Now I have my two favorite stylists to choose from if one is booked out or not working. Thank you Chelsea for your hard work and time.

Jessica Sanders who is the Manger in Gastonia is the best. She has been cutting my hair for almost 2 years. First of all as a Woman, she and her entire staff made me feel totally comfortable. She took the time to get to know me and my special needs. Jessica is never rushed and always maintain the highest level of professionalism. She was able to educate me about my particular hair type and offer suggestions. As a cancer survivor, she was knowledgable about how the medications could affect my hair. It is like sitting down with a old friend. She is a part of my healthcare team and I am so grateful for all that she does.

The online check-in is great use to be great. Now Im not sure what they are doing. Checked in online and said wait was 53 minutes. So I waited for about 45 minutes and then went in and signed in. Board said on deck. After sitting for around 15 minutes the board was changed and said an additional 25 minutes. These haircuts are not elaborate and are mostly clipper cuts th at should not take an hour. Definitely not worth the price with the long wait times.

Ive been going to great clips for years. A buddy of mine gave me a free haircut coupon... Which was the best haircut I have ever received. I asked Jessica what I should do about my receding hairline and she immediately knew the answer and took control. Hair salons need more hair stylists like Jessica. What an amazing concept! Style geared towards men. The locker room feel was very masculine. The haircut was good, but what makes this place is the pampering! Hot towels, essential oils and a head and face massage.

Consistently hour waits with short staff. Avoid by checking in online is just stupid because it forces you to use a feature you dont want to in order to get a simple haircut.

Very poor customer service from Christina, wait time unbelievable, checked in spoke to associate, 45 minute wait time left came back through a text to my phone that it would be 10 minutes, got there people taken care of out of ORDER from check in. Unaceptable franchise as a whole.

Asked for no hair to be cut off the top, she cut about 2 inches off before I could stop her now its way shorter than I wanted.

The haircut was ok but my husband got his hair cut really short and after we left, I looked at the back of his head and he had a tick stuck to his head... how does he get a haircut so close to the scalp and they didnt see a tick?

This establishment isn’t my official barber, just go there when is the last option for the occasion, anyway waited 20 extra minutes even with the online check-in, while cutting I got a comment about my thick hair but sounded weird as it is difficult to cut, well I just need a fade #1 and short top (faux hawk) “not a rocket science” if your are professionally qualified to do the job shouldn’t be an issue, I felt rushed because the place was getting busy all the sudden, “stylists” has a clock to beat I heard, haircut totally rubbish to be fair, luckily I had 1/2 price coupon when you go there SIX TIMES, not the first time it happened, go at your risk but DON’T.

I have been going here for a couple of months and yesterday was the last time. I have had literally only had 2 good experiences out of 6. I was there yesterday and everything felt rushed. I had a discount touchdown card i used and asked for a mvp and didnt even get the full experience. I have had many mvps before. On top of it I get home and fix my hair and everything is uneven. There has always been a long wait every time i go. I try to go on midweek weekdays to beat the lines but it doesnt seem to help. Have waited as long as 1 hour and 45 min minutes on a Wednesday. Either horrible staffing or horrible management or a combination of the 2. If im paying 25 dollars a haircut plus tip as a man i expect WAY better service. I have given this establishment more than a fair chance because I dont like change. However yesterday was my last visit. Save your money and time
