Very friendly staff, and very very excellent work. Twice I have brought damaged jewelry in to have it fixed or manipulated/changed/added to, and Daren has done a spectacular job. I also have brought my watch in there twice as well to have the battery replaced. Costs for repairs are more than affordable and no matter what you pay or what you buy you always get a considerably higher quality than the price you pay. Simply put, it is always done right the first time, and it always turns out exactly how I wanted it.I dont go to any other jeweler, and I tell all my friends to take their broken jewelry to Aurum.I am learning to be a jeweler, and I hope I develop the level of finesse found at Aurum.

I bought a pair of black hills gold earrings in South Dakota, only problem was that the girl liked stud earrings and these were made with a dangle hook. I went to 3 other jewelers downtown to see if I could get studs mounted to them and they all told me no they wouldnt be able to do it, these guys did it for me no problem and they were ready the same day I dropped them off!!

My favorite....Darren designed my wedding ring, which is still modern 11 years later. I am always receiving compliments. My husband knows Id love anything from Aurum....my 5 year anni as well as my 10 year anni gift are amazing necklaces I wear daily.If youve never been, stop in and if by some crazy chance they dont have something you love, Im sure they can create it!

Ohhhhh, do I love this jewelry store!!! Darens designs are AMAZING and the staff is so helpful & friendly! After 27 years of marriage, on the day of my Dads funeral in September (2014), somehow I actually lost my wedding rings and a chocolate & white diamond ring.... Of course, we went to Aurum! Sooo many lovely rings!!! Betty made the whole experience fun and she was extremely knowledgable about diamonds! In fact, my only complaint was that there were TOO MANY EXQUISITE RINGS to choose from!!!! I did finally choose one gorgeous ring..... its just too beautiful!Anyone that loves jewelry needs to check out Aurum Design Jewelry. It is on the corner of Main & 4th Street in downtown Rochester. There are many lovely pieces in a wide variety of prices.Now...... I still have the chocolate & white diamond ring to replace. Mmmmm.....
