I’ve been to a bunch of Planet Fitness’ over the country. This one is about middle of the road in quality. One thing I love about Planet Fitness is that they are all familiar. This one needs to have some of their weight equipment updated.

Very cost effective, and always clean! Plenty of equipment to use, so its rare that you cant use the machine you want. The only issue is that for what I pay monthly I can go to another gym for the same price and get spin classes, HIIT classes, yoga, etc. as well, all for the same monthly price. Kind of hard to beat...But for the most part 4 stars 🤙🏻

Im a Black Card member recently transplanted from Boston and remember when this style of equipment was phased out of my Planet Fitness years ago. This gym is definitely a throwback, but I like the people and enjoy my workouts here. I am worried though, because Im at max weight on all 8 of the cable machines I use and these ancient relics have no way of adding weight. The bicep machine has a max weight of only 100 pounds! So does the shoulder press. Im not a super-jacked guy but I have to do four reps of all 8 pieces of equipment in one session to feel anything. Add my 50 minutes of elliptical and Im at the gym for 2.5 hours. I dont have the time to spend on even more reps, but there is no way to increase resistance!That said, I like the place. I just hope they update their equipment soon.

I use to enjoy planet fitness. I had knee surgery so I suspended my Acct until Sept. Well they charge me this month. When I called the young lady states it will take 5-10 for a reversal. I closed my acct.

I used to hate going to the gym, but I love going to planet fitness because I feel comfortable and safe . The facility is always clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. You can tell the staff enjoys their job. I love how easy and convenient they made the planet fitness app . One of my favorite perks is the crowd meter. I love my planet fitness gym.

I joined my sister who is a member here. Everyone is friendly. Great equipment. The place is clean. Very affordable @ $10/month. They have a daily Design Your Own Program to help you meet your goals.

The only thing that sticks out is the staff not cleaning the tanning beds after a they’ve been used. Even though we are given cleaning supplies I notice I have to clean them before even getting in the bed because they aren’t cleaned properly. Other planet fitness’s I’ve been too have the staff cleaning them before you go in with a rag and cleaner. Other than that great machines and friendly staff!

Planet Fitness Valdosta is awesome! The staff is always helpful, the equipment is well maintained, and the facility is spotless. This is the most bang for a buck you will find in the fitness industry anywhere!

I like all of the machine selections to choose from to work out. But mainly I like Planet Fitness is because I feel comfortable there. Its real people that go there, I dont feel like Im being watched and talked about or made fun of. A judgement free place is really what it feels like!

Perrrfect....just wish so we all feel that we were welcomed as frequently as possible that mgr. Trains employees the simple but importance behind counter personel if present too says thank or good day good night hopee too see you soon or...s please come back tommorrow......otherwise place is extrelely giving off such pisitive colors aura cleanliness entertainment little bit drinks a table too sit a couch for comfort like its your own living room...

Mask are required but not everyone is wearing one. But they are provided at the counter if you ask. There is plenty of cleaning spay. I want around 7:30pm-9:30pm and it was more crowded than the crowd meter on the app said.

Staff is friendly. Facilities are clean and kept clean. No hassle allowing great productivity.

I love the ease of checking in at the front desk, just scan my key fob and go. I love that there isnt any judgement there and I feel comfortable walking in, working out and leaving. The employees at the front desk usually say hi and bid me a good night as Im leaving. Its clean and friendly

Just transferred from the Plantation, FL location. This place in Valdosta is immaculate. Service was smooth, seemless, & on point. Staff was friendly. Cleaning supplies well stocked. I spent about 3 hours here & found no complaints. You guys make it feel safe to go to the gym again. Thx.

Staff is friendly, outgoing. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Gym is clean and the machines are in good shape. The personal trainer is great - even when the classes are crowded he did what he could to accommodate people without slowing the rest of the class down. I dont tan, but they have booths available. Highly recommend

It’s a clean place with enough space and equipment for people like me who do not like to workout with 100 strangers.It’s 24 hour availability accommodates my busy schedule and the hydro massage machines are my favorites.

The cheerful and positve atmosphere. Also, the friendly and helpful staff. The nice luxuries that us Black card holders have, (After, a strenuous workout the massage chair and bed, does a body good). Great place to workout, but from what i understand therere some rules like: no sandals... I saw someone in sandals working out and employees not caring about it. I thought its suppose to be a no intimidation environment, yet I saw more than one person wearing clothes that say otherwise. I saw employees just socializing with some members, and ignoring others. The person that checked me in to the computer didnt even looked at me nor the computer to see Im from out of town or even if i was the right person.

I love this location. The staff is so friendly and always recognizes your face. They even help out with teaching you the proper way to use the machine. Unlike other gyms, it never smells like “sweat” and is super clean.

I enjoy the early morning experience here. The employees are always friendly, and the people who work out here are courteous. The only issue I have is that they claim a flat rate bill of $22, and over the last few months Ive been billed for over $60, and more recently over $40 with no explanation. I realize theres an annual fee they charge, but I feel like theyre charging whatever they feel. And of course the employees dont have access to that info to provide an explanation. Its very frustrating.

I love this place! I was using another gym in town that was double the price. Also that gym offered me less. Unlike other local gyms, Planet Fitness is always welcoming. The staff is mature and knowledgeable. The equipment always works. There is enough equipment for everyone. I never have to wait. Also the other people working out are always friendly. Just an all around good environment for this mother trying to get fit.

I was charged for an annual fee twice this year, and I asked for a refund in mid March. It is almost July now and I haven’t received the money yet.Understanding the covid19 situation, I called the Valdosta location as soon as they opened back again to just remind them the issue, but until this day all they saying is to wait because it it their headquarter’s job to do.I have been calling them every two, three weeks to remind them and check with them but it is still pending. They are not willing to solve the problem nor contact their headquarter for this matter.Even the headquarter customer service team is hard to reach and unresponsive.

I have been a member of this gym since the day they opened and now that I’m only home 3 months out of the year due to college I don’t need a 1yr membership. Today I went to get yet another 1 month for $10 no fees like I have previously done but I was surprised even after explaining my situation I was recommended to pay $45 to sign up and another $45 when I cancel When Christmas break is over before 1 yr. very disappointed considering this is a college town. I then said okay let’s just pay for today which has historically been $5, but again I was quoted $20 for one visit. You must be high if you think that makes any sense. 90% of the gym is treadmills, you serve pizza on Monday what about something healthy, and you don’t hardly have any free weights. Do better

Well I was just told by a manager that if the trainer is having a class in the PF 360 room and you want to use the new equipment in the PF 360 room, you would have to get out because the people who sign up for his class takes precedence over anyone else. He also mentioned that it goes the same for the circuit room. So if you have not signed up for a class (even if you pay your money for a membership), you are way less important than those who signed up for a class.Never sign up online. It is very misleading. Thought I was signing up with one price and got another amount taken from my account 2 days later. I signed up 2 people and because they took more more out of my account, my account was overdraft. I called to talk to someone about the situation and she pretty much said “oh well”. I could have just waited 2 days after to sign up had I known about the extra money being taken out, I would have used my other account. Bad business. I will be canceling this membership soon. Both memberships.

Very late night/early morning workout few people and very clean as usual

This a franchise gym that I have been to across the United States. I been at least 43 plus Planet Fitness gyms. There was no cons at this gym. The pros are this gym is large, clean, and well maintained. I would recommend this gym to any beginning exerciser to due its $10 membership fee or its $20 fee for access around the United States for a person travelling.

Nice place, good variety of exercises and machines, clean bathroom/shower room, staff is nice, and so are the people that work out, u have the option to focus on yourself, or u can join a crowd and work out. Its pretty chill, but, they play like dubstep/party music so bring headphones if u dont like that type of music lol

Missing the massage beds and some equipment while they remodel. I like that they are updating the area but if the amenities arent accessible, members who pay for them should get a credit on their membership fee for the month.

Ive been coming here enough now that Im recognized by the staff. They are always friendly and helpful, and they greet me warmly whenever I walk in. I never have an issue using the equipment that I like (although I do tend to go late morning/early afternoon). Have had similar experiences at other Planet Fitness locations, which is why I joined the club here in Valdosta. I am never disappointed!

Cancelled my membership the first of January in the location with seemingly no problem, checked my bank statement and my bank says otherwise, after 2 refund check fees of 29.00 because I do not use that account anymore, and the gym membership fee that adds up to around $90. I would not reccomend this gym to anyone. Also, my wife and I are both military and prior service. My wife has Active Duty orders, I asked a manager if they were going to refund us for the money that they do owe us and she said it was above her pay grade. I honestly could give a rip about the money as long as it is off my bank statement. Horrible service.

Joined about 2 weeks due to the great location and price. At first all seemed great. But its become very over crowded The wait for a treadmill is ridiculous. And although the weight equipment is new it definitely lacks in quality. I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true. Ill be switching as soon as my membership is up.

Love my gym. Never get bothered when Im there. If someone does bother you say something to the staff on duty and they will quietly deal with it.

I LOVE this place. I try to stop in whenever I stay overnight in Valdosta. Seems to always be busy.
