My original technician who owns her own shop is on vacation. So I decided to go to Nail palace because all I needed is a fill in and I had two broken nails which were my pinky and my thumb. The owner Van is a very sweet lady and is a good mail tech but She was busy so her husband LEE did my nails. He did not do what he suppose to do. My nails looked horrible he didn’t take the time to measure my nails to make sure they was correct on each side.Nor did I see him go wash his hands prior to starting on my nails. You can obviously can see the difference. And another thing he done my nails one time before and charged me this outrageous price. Almost $100 dollars for a acrylic full set with white tips. I definitely won’t be back for any nail services. Always trying to get over on people.

I am from out of town I went in to get a fill-in. I asked for a cat I I picked up the cat eye nail polish the guy asked me also ifI wanted a cat eye and I said yes and asked how much the price was he told me it would be $38. Towards the end he had not used the magnet for the cat Eye and I questioned him he started talking to another employee and said oh that will be $10 more so The reason for my one star review is because he knew from the time I sat down and asked for the cat eye that, that was what I wanted he told me a price but then at the end when he did not want to finish the work he tried to charge me more make sure that you check twice before using this salon because they will up the price and it doesn’t matter what you say to them they don’t care an will not give you the service you requested from the beginning very poorly professional people

I havent gotten nail services here in a long while. But the last time I did was a nice lasting set of acrylics. But for eyebrow service they are definitely a top 10 in Raleigh!

Im gonna give this place a 2 because I used to come here about a year ago.And I stopped.I clearly made an appointment for 430.I was here on time.A customer walks in after me but yet gets service before me.Maybe she had an appointment also.But Im highly disappointed at this moment.I only come for 1 service.

My first and last time going was horrible. the nails were very messy and unprofessional, customer service was the worst ive ever had, we got cursed and yelled out because THEY messed up or nails and refused to take responsibility and fix them.

They always do an outstanding job on my nails. Today I went early and was lucky to get one of the men. The ladies are great too, but the guys are awesome!

I had a wonderful experience from this place. This was my first time 2 days ago. They are under new management! The staff is friendly & my nails are amazing. The price is good for the quality of work you get. I normally get regular polish on my tips but this time Ive gotten the gel polish & it last way longer. I will defiantly be back.**Just realized I left the review under the wrong salon lol I got my nails done at L.A. Nails.

The owner had a bad attitude. Tom was not always pleasant. He does a fairly good job but will forget your appointment. Waited 1 hr and 30 minutes for him to tell me his next appointment had come in and he couldnt do my nails. That was it for me on top of catching a fungus while getting a pedicure there.

This place is awesome

First and last time I go to this place. I went for a fill-in and paid $50?! I should of said something, but I was too shy at the moment and the girl who did my nails did a horrible job, cut me multiple times and seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. Do not go here, instead I recommend cobe nails in garner, they do an amazing job and actually seem to care about their customers

I got a full gel pedicure and manicure and the paint chipped only one day later . To those of you who wear gel polish you know that it’s not cheap and to have it chip so soon is completely unacceptable .. I was told I would be helped with just the tips that chipped which I was completely fine with bc they chipped due to the technician not painting the tips .. this was evident in the work I politely showed them. After being discussed in their language and ignored for a while I addressed my concern again and was then told by the manager I actually could not be helped . This organization lacks consistent accountability and have no integrity behind their work or word. Their are cleaner and more up to date salons that strive to satisfy their customers for the same price or less. This place isn’t it ladies!

Horrible service! I have constantly made an appointment here, and Kathy who always does my eyebrows is always running 30 minutes to an hour behind. I am very disappointed that I will not be coming back here anymore. After leaving Nail Palace I was scared of finding a new person to do my eyebrows; however, after searching I finally found a place around the corner to get me eyebrows done at called Eyebrows Threading and Spa by Christina. I am more than happy with my experience! I had no break outs after getting my eyebrows threaded, and the pain was a 3 out of 10 (very minimal). Also, the lady who did my eyebrows was very friendly, skilled, listen when letting me voice my preference of how I wanted my eyebrows done, and I was able to get in and out in 5 minutes which was a big plus!!! Lastly, the cost is very affordable as it only cost $6 for eyebrow threading when paying cash and $7 when paying with a card.

Been going here for the past few years for eyebrows and never had any issues until now. I told Van I wanted to keep my brows thick and just needed a clean up, but she did the opposite of that. She made my eyebrows so thin and when I came back to complain she made all of these excuses and didn’t even listen to what I had to say. I asked for my money back and she said we will give you your money back but don’t come back here again. Very rude and unprofessional. Plus they recently increased there prices for brows so I’d rather go somewhere else with much better customer service.

For the dip powder/sns when you go to change the color, if you have tips on they make you go through the whole process again; adding the tips and everything which I didnt know thats what was going to happen. They make you put your hands in bags with acetone to melt the color and the plastic tips lol. I have friends who do nails and that is not OK, if you have tips they normally put foil on bc they normally dont want to REAPPLY the tips all over again. Ive had dip powder before in various places and they have never done any thing like that. They normally leave the tips on, and just foil the nails and then just buff any color that is left on the nail or tip. Not only that, but I had called in the morning to see if they had any availability they said they did. I got there the lady I was scheduled with had someone at her chair mid way through her nail process. It was unprofessional to overlap appointments, and for what I was told is the own techs make their own appointments so it she did that herself. She told me to sit beside her current client and had my hands in the acetone for about 15min if not more. I was taking them in and out of the acetone bc it wasnt comfortable so I just sat there waiting.I had told her half way I wanted her to buff the color and I no longer wanted to keep my nails in the acetone, she said no bc it was better for me to keep my hands in acetone it was healthier? at that point I just waited for her to finish with the other lady and came to me to finish taking everything off. As long as Ive been doing my nails I have never experience anything like that. I was upset enough to walk out and just pay for the removal of all of my nails, which is not what I went in there for.

I have been going to this place for years! I love Tom he does a good job oh and Lisa on my eyebrows shes the bomb! Dewy is extreamly rude and so is Kathy. But today was the last straw. I was rushed to pick my polish so I left. North Hills Nail shop is everything . Nice with manners! I will never come back here for nail service just for Lisa

My first and last experience here. Most of the staff seemed friendly enough, but the nail tech responsible for my service was RUDE and barked orders at me and my 13yr old Goddaughter. Save your money and hit the Garden Nail Bar on Capital Blvd.

I got my nails done 3 days later four is cracked and one broke all the way I been going here for years lately they have been going down hill the polish is even cracking the put nail polish remover in the polish I saw them doing it and they tried to put dirty used shoes on my feet to paint my toes shoes that Someone else just took of that’s not ok and I went back to show them what they did and the women was not helpful and said it’s the set but I go to no one but them... I will not be returning if a man you do go do not let “ty van dao” do your nails he is the one who put the dirty shoes on that he got out the trash .. and he is the one who messed my nails up ....they are very unsanitary just trying to get your money while saving a dollar

I have been going to this nail shop for over 8 years...I now drive all the way from Knightdale. They do a great job! I will continue to come here as long as they are open!

I went to this shop on a Sunday and had a French Manicure. On Tuesday morning, all of the polish was gone on four of my fingers. So I went back to the shop to ask if they can redo the four fingers and I was told that they do not guarantee the work that they do on real nails. This is the worst place I have ever been. Dont spend your money. You get what you pay for. The sad part is that I am visitor to Raleigh, and had to have a bad experience while on vacation.

I always let Tom do my nails, best worker, in & out, and flawless nails every time.

I used to go here and have my nails done, with Lisa she is really good, however the owner is really rude, not going back there, 5 star for Lisa, who should work where else shes talented!

I got a gel manicure on Friday and by Saturday my polish was peeling. I’ve never experienced that with a gel manicure, my gel polish usually lasts a week at the least.

The absolute work service i have ever experience. I made an appointment with Cindy. And i was NEVER SERVICED. I sat there and waited for an hour & then finally i just got up left. Would not recommend to anybody.

I got my gel polish done on Monday, and by Wednesday there were bubbles in the polish and it was cracked. I called this morning to see if they can take it off and the manager told me to come in and they will do it.... On top of the 21 that I paid for on Monday, they charged me 10 bucks today to take off their sloppy work...

Went there and wanted a full set and feet done, the person who did my feet and hands did a horrible job paid $70 for both.. suppose to be gel overlay and within a week my nails start to chip and polish peeling, worst place to get nails done. NO GOOD SEVICE.

Went in for a pedicure last Friday. I noticed she had cut the side of my toe (didn’t hurt so I didn’t think nothing of it). Few days later my whole small toe was red and purple and is now infected.
