Nail Trenz is one of the best nail salons I have been to in Raleigh. A friend recommended this nail salon, and I am so happy I tried it out. It is literally the first time the dip power polish on my nails has not lifted and lasts three weeks. Patrice is a gem; she is very kind and respects all feedback, good or bad, and will make it right if there are any issues. She is very professional and always remembers everyones name who returns, which amazes me. Cam does my daughters nails and is super sweet! I love these ladies!

I have always used this nail salon but the last three months I have utilized their services there have only been 3 stylists on Sundays, so that translates into long wait times. I hate to change salons because I have been so happy with them the past few years but I need a salon with faster services.

I have been going to this salon for over 15 years. The staff is always professional and kind . The owner Patrice take great care of me. I have been taking my daughter there for years as well and Vivian does a wonderful job on her nails. I would recommend anyone to this salon. Love them!!!

I have had manicures and pedicures there since they opened. Early on I was not as picky as I am now and would go to other nail salons if I was out of town. Now I make sure I get them done before I leave town because when you go to the best, why risk it with the rest. The extremely few times in the last 14 years I have had an issue where polish chipped quickly or I broke a nail, they have been fantastic about getting me in quickly for a repair. The ambience is relaxing and clean which is a must!

I spent$120 on a pedicure, eyebrows and manicure with gel polish today. I got home and my nail polish is chipped! My eyebrows are mess as well. Very disappointed.In response to the offer to come back I decline. Both thumbs are messed up and my technician should have made sure my nails were cured. And in hindsight, I dont even know what I was charged for. When I asked I thought I heard you mention something about nail take off but I didnt have any nails to remove. I absolutely think I was overcharged but whats done is done and I will not be returning.

I have been coming to Nail Trenz for years. It is clean and professional. They offer many services on their menu, including acrylic or gel sets, gel manicures, and deluxe pedicures. While I have not had any issues in my times here, I have witnessed people coming in with concerns. Patrice, the owner, is quick to offer a resolution and often takes the cost on to please the customer. One of the best customer service experiences in nails I have experienced. Patrice is quick to help the other technicians to be sure every customer is satisfied.

Vivian is the sweetest!! Shes super professional and does such a great job with any design I want to try. I always go to her when Im in need of something cute, as she always goes above and beyond!

Bad customer services,Vivian the technician is very rud, I took an appointment with her for my nails. She started to do my nails and she didn’t finish them, then she left me and started with other customer. When I asked her to finish my nails first, she told that other one come to help me, then I told her that I took my appointment with her and I need her to finish my nails, she became nervous and started to put the nail polish fast and unprofessionally and left me. The manger saw her and heard my complain but she didn’t fix the problem . I really don’t recommended this salon. Bad services and very poor customer services.

Definitely not what I expected out of $35 “gel manicure” plus tip. Butchered cuticles and nails that are chipping 4 days after I got them done. They also didn’t use sanitizer packs that many salons do, the lady just pulled it out the drawer. Google won’t let me post a picture, but I put a review on yelp as well.

Let me first say....This place is not bad, but not great either. I love my nails, but the customer service was a bit poor. I do not think its wise to speak about your customers and assume that they do not understand. I also noticed, that the gentleman doing my fill in did not offer me a beverage. However, the other nail technicians offered there customers beverages. This place is very pricey. Also, this nail salon is catered for a certain environment.

I got the cat eye gel polish, which is very pretty and cool.

I walked in on a Sunday afternoon and was told they could do my pedicure right away. I was directed to a chair but all the staff were busy with other clients. So it was about 15 minutes later that my pedi began. Despite the slight delay, I thought it was a good sign that they were busy. I relaxed in the massage chair. I chose the basic pedicure, and added a scrub for an extra $5. My nail tech was very fast and my pedi was complete in about 30 minutes, which was good because I didn’t have a ton of time to spend there. My toes look good! The salon was bright and clean. I would definitely go back for another quick pedi.

After going to the same salon in Charlotte for five years, I was nervous to move to Raleigh and try to find a new nail salon. My aunt recommended Nail Trenz and I’ve been continuously going for the past year. I have never had an issue with scheduling or waiting. They’ve always been helpful picking out colors and the customer service is exceptional.

We love coming to Nail Trenz. They are super friendly and the place is always neat and clean. I have no doubt they are cleaning all the equipment and I really appreciate this. Definitely try them!

These ladies are the best! They are the sweetest ladies! They put me on having the dip powder nails and they last me 3 weeks! I work in shipping so I constantly would break nails and chip gel polish but the dip powder is the miracle stuff! I will always recommend them and these ladies to anyone!!

HORRIBLE NEVER GO HERE... THEY PAINT UR NAILS HALF WAY OVER CHARGE...

A coworker told me about this place last year and when I went for the first time I received good service and the hot stone pedicures were a bonus that kept me coming back a few times. Today was the first time this year that Ive visited them. My vacation starts tomorrow and I thought I could get a pedi and a full set acrylic tips. The guy that I used to go to was not there instead I had an annoying new guy who rushed me while I was picking out my nail color after I had only walked in a minute prior to. He asked if I wanted my toe nails clipped... I said just a little.. He basically chopped and butchered my toe nails. Way too low and not straight. Burned me with the hot stone. Then got an attitude when I asked for a 3rd coat for the thinned out yellow polish that I picked out. When it was time to start my nails, after gluing the tips on, he asked what shape I wanted I told him coffin (the same shape Ive been getting for the past 5 years of my life). He told me extra $5 which I was already aware of since I called and asked for the pricing prior to my arrival. When it came down to the length, they wanted to charge an extra $10 for the same short length Ive been getting for years and have never been upcharged for. I was completely upset and asked for him to remove the nail tips that he had glued on and he told me that hed have to charge me $10 to take them off. I ended up taking them off myself because I refused to give them anymore of my money. To add on to all of that. Every guest that walked in was offered something to drink except me. THE worst nail salon experience Ive ever had in the 12 years that Ive been getting my nails done in NY and NC. I ended going to Celebration Nails where they treated me with respect and offered me a drink of my choosing.

I was greeted warmly at the front door by a lovely lady who instructed me to wash my hands at the back, then return to the front display to select a polish. Instead, a nail tech intercepted me at the back sink and directed me to immediately sit in her chair. When I mentioned needing to select a color, she insisted I could sit down first. So, I did. She then offered me a basket full of color chips and immediately began promoting GEL polish (an $18 upcharge to any mani/pedi). The basket was full of only GEL polish color chips. I have used OPI Bubble Bath and Passion for many years. It isnt GEL polish. I did not want GEL polish. I did not need GEL polish. Although the nail tech gave me an excellent $31 Orange Pedicure, I was charged $36 at checkout. Even dealing with the challenges of new face mask mandates, CLIENT COMMUNICATION is an essential service. ASK.. LISTEN.. then inform new clients of their best service options to avoid any unpleasant surprises at checkout. Again, I had a great pedicure service. But, that should be the standard. However, great customer service requires CLEAR communication. That is key.

Van is the best ! I was with her 13 years and she always does good job on my pedicure and gel fill in and every one there was so nice too. Its my recommends salon to come and I will be back to see van again.

I have been going to Nail Trenz for many years. I have always had great service with manicures, pedicures and eyebrow wax. Also I find it quite pleasant and relaxing to be there, often socializing with other customers, some of whom I know. I would recommend this business to anyone who wants their services.

I have gone to this nail salon several times over the course of about 10 years but was very disappointed with the service I received this past weekend. First, I sat down in the chair at 9:30 and by 9:45 I was already getting the polish put on me. I have never received a 15 minute pedicure and was expected to pay full price. I think the nail technician was aggravated because I got the cheapest pedicure available and she kept trying to sell me a more expensive one, therefore she rushed through my pedicure. Even worse than this, she severely cut the side of my big toe on the right foot with he apparatus she used to scrape the dead skin off the bottom of my feet. She was rushing and was extremely rough and she drew blood and my toe has been hurting for two days. I hope it doesn’t get infected. I even had to use my own band-aid in my purse to cover up the cut because she did not offer me one. She thought I had not noticed that she cut me and threw my foot in the water immediately after cutting me thinking I wouldn’t notice, but I did...then she begged and pleaded for me not to tell the owner of the shop. I had a big event to attend that night and had to go to the event with my foot hurting and I was concerned the straps from my heels would rub up against my toe. The polish job was mediocre and she had to redo one of the toes that got messed up under the fan. As I made my way to the front to pay, she tried to overcharge me for a $33 pedicure, but I had received a $28 pedicure and then I proceeded to ask her “you’re still going to charge me full price after you cut me and made me bleed?” The owner overheard and only knocked off $3 off my service and I still had to pay $25. Definitely will never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone else.

I have been going to Nail Trenz for over ten years, I go every two weeks because I deserve it and because I receive such quality work, enjoy the staff and the atmosphere.Reading some of the negative reviews just amazes me, because I watch what goes on in there and how attentive the owner is as she watches and listens to make sure the customers are happy. If you speak to them and let them know of your concern, it gets handled.I see the same customers come in year after year and there is something to be said about the longevity of their customers. The care they take with the handicapped and the elderly is just incredible, they welcome everyone equally!Thank you to the entire staff at Nail Trenz for always making myself, my daughter, my daughter-in-law and my granddaughters feel like we are special!

Ok. The stone massage was nice. They were pretty fast which I appreciate. Also tucked a plastic protective wrap in the sink. Again, I appreciate sanitation. Id go again. Not the best nail file job Ive had as a pedicure but adequate.. price was right and I was done in about 1/2 hour.

This is my favorite place to go and get my nails done! I love the owner and I usually see John - he’s the man with the hat and is so kind and does a great job. I moved away for a couple years but am happy to be back here. I usually walk in and have never had to wait, though I’m sure it’s best to make an appointment. I’ve taken my kids here a couple of times and they are so good with them. They do great nail art too. Definitely check them out!!

Horrible experience. She was rushing and not thorough and literally peeled off my skin from the top to root and I had to yelp and tell me not to peel my skin off. Not paying a money for someone to hurt me.

I was a little hesitant to go here because of some bad reviews but I went and I had a great experience, although it was a little pricey. Van did a great job and took her time giving me a great pedicure, foot and leg massage.

My best friend took me here for a pedicure as an early birthday present today. The whole experience was terrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking to get a pedicure. First the water was cold. They were understaffed and I couldn’t get anyone’s attention. They left us sitting for so long both tubs turned freezing cold. When the woman who was going to do the pedicure finally arrived I told her the problem she left, got a bowl, and angrily scooped out the water into the empty pedicure tub beside me while turning on the hot water. What followed wasn’t the orange scrub pedicure we ordered, She just painted my toenails. She briefly put lotion and an orange scrub on my feet. She didn’t do any of the foot maintenance usually associated with pedicures. She rushed through the entire thing. I nicked my toenail polish while being hurried out of my chair. She sighed loudly then put some polish over it. The girl doing the pedicure for my friend did a great job and did the normal process. Hers took 3 times as long as mine. I just hate it because this was such a thoughtful wonderful birthday gift idea from my friend and this place sucked all the fun out of it. She paid 42$ for a pedicure I could have done with a bottle of nail polish from the dollar store. The only thing making it even 1 star worthy is that She did a decent job with the polish and brought me a soda. For my birthday I wish I could get my friend her money back. This place was awful and I was miserable the entire time. If you’re wondering whether you should or shouldn’t go here — you shouldn’t.

The nail job itself isnt horrible but dont EVER walk in. Walked in for an appointment with my mother and was lied to MULTIPLE times about when they would be with us. I understand that walking in without an appointment can lead to long wait times, but being lied to multiple times and waiting for over 45 minutes in a pedicure chair with water that got COLD made me really frustrated and annoyed. Never coming again.

I will say that I have had quality work done at this salon, but my recent experience was really bad and I will unfortunately not be going back. I was serviced by a woman by the name of Van. She was very rushed and rough throughout the experience. She took about 10 seconds to do my cuticles, leaving most of them in tact, and therefore left a good size gap at the base of my nails without gel polish. My nails were all filed unevenly, and when I brought it to her attention, she was clearly frustrated and rude. It has been less than a week and my gel nails are already starting to peel away. At one point, the owner/manager looked over and observed our interactions, and did not attempt to intervene or follow up with me after my visit. Van should be taken off the floor and provided more training before she is allowed to service future customers. Very disappointed.

Do not, under any circumstances, go to this place with the expectation of having a nice, relaxing manicure or pedicure. They are so rushed and the woman who did my mani pedi could have fallen dead in front of me at any time. She left my nails all covered in polish on the sides and the shapes were uneven. I will NEVER be returning to this place ever again. Worst $42 I’ve ever spent in my entire life. I’d rather get my nails done bub Stevie Wonder.
