This is where I have taken my watch for battery replacement for the past couple of years. Good people.I will also say that they are often not there even sometimes during their limited posted open hours so best to email them in advance. Don’t expect to be able to just drop by. Patience is key.

Never can get ahold of someone and you are unable to leave a message. When I finally reached him he had me take photos of my clock and email them. It has been 3 weeks and have not yet received a call or response from the emails. The hours and service is really bad. I would suggest you find a different clock repairing location.

What a joke. I get a call early Saturday afternoon that my clock is ready. Guy tells me it look beautiful. I paid over $300 to fix it. So I call the guy and he tells me they close in 20 minutes and wont wait for me. Then he tells me they are closed on Sunday and Monday. But he cant do it Tuesday, when they should be open, because he has appointments. But, hey, I can pick it up on Wednesday... five day later. Real nice.

Great people that are very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Had John and Marissa refurbish my Grandfathers railroad pocket watch made around 1919. The watch had not run in well over 35 years. It now runs perfectly and keeps very accurate time. I am very pleased to own this wonderful piece of family history and to see it run is amazing. I have many old clocks and would trust any one of them to these folks and know it is in good hands.

John at the Clock Shop has done an excellent job repairing our two grandfather clocks this year, and is working on a third mantle clock now. He has explained each repair step very clearly and helped us research more details about each clock. Very fair and diligent craftsman, and timely in completing repairs when promised.

Knowledgeable. Fast. Affordable. And lots of cool stuff to look at. I had the opportunity to see another customer receive a family heirloom which had been serviced, which meant I got to overhear the presentation on how the thing worked. Fascinating place and I will immediately return whenever I need a watchband replaced or a timepiece serviced.

Stopped here today to drop off an old clock that had quit working. Expected to pick it up a few days hence, if in fact it could be fixed at all. Guess what? Mr Lupi said he could fix it, at a reasonable price, and if I wanted to wait a few minutes, he would do it right then! Ten minutes later I was out of there, with my restored clock in hand! Great little shop, with a talented owner and great service!

Ive been to The Clock Shop a few times over the years, whenever Ive need a clock repaired. I stopped in today needing a part for my vintage clock. The woman at the window stopped what she was doing, searched her inventory for what the part, and fixed my clock FREE OF CHARGE! She even refused when I offered a $5.00 tip!! Im happy to know that they now offer watch repair as well. Thank you for your expertise and excellent service!

Paid $350.00 to get our antique clock working again. He looked it over and said it didn’t seem to need repair just some maintenance. Kept it for a month, we had to call him to see he was done, he said oh yes it’s keeping good time and ready for pick up. Brought it home, clock lost time everyday. Took it back, owner kept it another three weeks. Again, I had to call him, he said it was doing fine. Brought it back home and with in a week it had lost an entire hour. Not worth the money, slow turnaround and their follow up is not good. Would not recommend.

I stopped in for a watch battery for my Luminox which was to take 5 minutes; what I ended up with was more than 10 minutes of fun, entertainment and education. In our modern “throw it away and get a new one” society it’s refreshing to find a small locally owned business that takes pride in repair and service. Their prices were fantastic! If you’ve a watch or clock in need of service but have put it off for ages as I have, wait no longer. The correct spelling is mannequin.

Wow!! I absolutely loved this place, the clocks are awesome and the service is just great!! I had my battery changed in my watch and not only did they change it but they cleaned it out too, and all for one great price! the thing I loved most about this shop Were the owners, they are the friendliest people, they asked me questions and kept me entertained while I waited for my battery change, I just recently moved back to Florida but if I could I would fly all the way back to Portland just to visit this shop again! Thank you so much for the great experience:) oh and beware of the manakin in there (I nearly jumped out my skin)😂

I brought my fathers wrist watch for what I thought would be a battery replacement. I had inherited the watch but hadnt worn it for 15+ years. Apparently, it had been exposed to water and the old battery had leaked acid into the housing. I assumed the worst but the repair person asked me to wait while she played with it. During the next half hour, as we talked, she swabbed, blew air and pored over the watch. She then presented me with a working heirloom. When she told me the price, I was awed! She charged me the cost of the battery only saying it was for my father.I am wearing it proudly and recommend this shop to everyone I know.

I had the expertise of John and his wife Marissa to help me with an antique cuckoo clock(with the quail and cuckoo) and John told me up front what the cost would be, then inquired did I want a quick turn around, I told him to take his time. 8 or wks. later I stopped by to pay for it, and he had it fixed within one week! It was/ and wil be a pleasure in the future to bring in another clock or two.

My wife and I bought a Howard Miller wall clock in a second-hand store at the coast to mount in the boat; which we live aboard. Recently it stopped working, so I took it to The Clock Shop to see if they could repair it. The owner spent nearly 30 minutes working on it. When he finished, he refused to take my money, saying he was happy to help! I also brought them my Pulsar watch to get a new battery. They replaced it while I waited. This is a family-owned clock shop and they will have my business from now on. Great service...great shop...great people! Thank you Clock Shop!SSG Todd Neiss - Portland, Oregon

The guy seems to be knowledgable, but you will play a merry tune ever finding him in his shop. Posted hours mean nothing to him. He shows up when he feels like it, even when you have arranged to pick up something he has repaired. So, you happen to get lucky and drop off a click for work, and you have no way of knowing when you will be able to pick it up. Furthermore, the mantle clock that he serviced for me worked fine for about six months. Now it runs fast some days (really fast), and slow most others. Given how difficult he is to work with, and how he messed up what I gave him, I am disinclined to give him a second chance, even at warranty work. Yes, he is that bad that I will pay someone else to fix his mess!
