We rented a 15 box truck for a trip to college. The process was very quick. The rental paperwork took 5 minutes. The person working with us was clear direct and very helpful. The truck was clean in the cab and the cargo space. On the return, dropped the keys off, had an e-mail receipt by 7:00 AM. The charges were exactly as they had outlined. Really great people and place to rent from.

We have used Chicagoland Truck Rental for moving large amounts of furniture (Huge Truck), small amounts of furniture (small trucks and vans), and for taking spring break trips with our friends and family (fancy vans with all the comforts you could want!) Rented a ford transit passenger van for a group trip to Tennessee. Van was clean, fueled up on pick-up, easy to drive, and surprisingly great on gas mileage. The customer service was amazing, I called to check the price after being quoted a ridiculous amount from Budget, the sales agent was able to work with me to get a great price. My group was planning to leave at 6:30 a.m. on a Friday but was able to pick up the van at the end of the day that Thursday for no additional fee. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Buddy that look around 50 yrs old was mad disrespectful i went in asking for a 15 passenger van & dude wants to show me one with no seats & got mad when i corrected him & me & my pops were gonna walk away when dude starting screaming for me to go inside saying WHERES MY GUY YEAH YOU COME HERE LETS TRY.. THIS AGAIN.... at this point i was just laughing but when he got everything right he gave us a mad price that was just ridiculous my family & i where gonna go to texas & weve rented from Chicagoland 3 times no problem very good price no more then $1200 the second & third time one of the other workers hooked it up & paid only $950 so i dont know why buddy was charging us $2,100 for the same amount of days weve been always going the past year

I’m so happy I rented a 15ft. Truck from this company. They saved me hundreds of dollars and worked great with my son who picked the truck up for me. Even at the last minute, they provided. The only thing that was a lil scary was the lack of emergency braking system driving through the mountains. Truck was roomy and I had more than enough room. Originally rented a van to move down to Champaign-Urbana from Chicago and they accommodated me with a box truck to insure everything would fit. Amazingly clean vehicle, fuel efficient, a truly wonderful experience. S & T Automotive recommended me to CTR. The price ended up being cheaper to drive from Chicago to Urbana and back than the estimate was for a one way U-haul.

Great company, great experience! We tried to rent a truck to move my daughter from one apartment to another in August. Not only did the place we reserved from NOT have our truck available, they had nothing available in a 50 mile radius. We tried the local big box home improvement store; not only did they NOT have a truck after we reserved one online, they defensively told us they were not in charge of the truck rentals, it was contracted out, and it was not their fault or their problem (even though apparently the truck we wanted was just rented to a friend of the employee) They did offer us a flatbed ?!?So we were upset and frustrated by the time we called Chicagoland Truck Rental, who promised to figure out something for us. And they did! We ended up with a large van with a completely empty back, as well as a hand truck and some supplies. They let us start the rental early and end it a little late. They gave great advice and awesome customer service. Bruce, the guy onhand at the time, was amazing. This Oregon customer cannot recommend them highly enough for saving the day in a helpful (and budget friendly) manner. Go to them—you won’t be sorry!

This is my first time ever renting a moving truck since I’ve never moved out of Chicago. It was a Saturday morning, maybe 11 AM. I didn’t call ahead, made no reservations the day before and I was still taken care of! I walked in and explained we were moving that day and needed a 15ft and they’re response was “You got it!” The paperwork was EASY. Drivers license & Credit card info. I was in and out in less then half an hour. I was checking out rates from UHual, Peneske, etc the week before and was ranging maybe spending $170-200. NOPE, not with them. It was straightforward process. The truck itself wasn’t spotless but hey, I’m using it to move, not move in to it. They showed us how to use the ramp and explained the size of the truck. They showed us where to put the keys and park the truck if we came back after normal business hours. I got a call the very next morning with my total and was less then I expected. We drove maybe 60-70 miles & had it for about 5 hours. I’d def recommend them.

We had a reservation with a national chain that I made weeks in advance and received a confirmation days prior, only to show up and find out they had no truck for me to rent. I had to be out of my apartment in a few hours, it was the last day of the month and every place I called didn’t have a 26 foot truck, and I had people arriving to help showing up shortly. I asked my brother and he recommended Chicagoland Truck Rental, I called and they had several trucks available. I drove over and was pleasantly surprised with how great the customer service was. The mileage is way less than uhaul, full tank of gas, you have the truck all day and dont have to worry about the time you have with the truck. This place is awesome. Very conveniently located and top notch customer service. They saved our Mission Trip a few years ago when another company called us and said they did not have a van for our church 5 days before the trip. We called Chicagoland Truck Rental and they were able to accommodate us with a van in the short notice. We are only going with them for all of our van rentals.

I highly recommended this company. I did some research in the area and they have the best rates...way more affordable than U-Haul which is who I was going to go with at first. It was very easy to get a quote and reservation over the phone. I actually called about 3 other times with questions and they were very patient with me. When I picked up the van I was in and out within 5 minutes. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. I rented the Transit Cargo van. It had a lot of cargo space. I was able to fit a full sized bed on its side with plenty of room to spare. The van was extremely easy to drive which means a lot coming from me since I hadnt driven anything in about 3 years. Returning the van was very fast too. Its too bad they dont have more locations. If you need a van or truck Chicagoland Truck Rental is the place to call.

We rent From U-Haul several times a month and even tho we are frequent renters the hoops and paperwork always slow the procedure. I recently purchased a juke box and the restorer ( Jukebox Johnny ) told me to call Chicagoland truck rental. I was surprised with the really economical rates, clean equipment, fast super easy pickup, no sales pitch for any extras and return was even easier. I rented a 15 seat passenger van for a road trip over Thanksgiving weekend. The customer service upon pickup was amazing. I was in a rush to pick up the van and had my young daughter with me, but the staff got me in and out within 25 minutes. The van was in excellent condition and comfortably fit 12 kids and 3 adults. The van handled very well for such a large vehicle. The large flatscreen TV was an unexpected plus! The kids had the time of their lives (lost in their movies) and not even once asked the age old question of Are we there yet?. We cleaned out the van (as best as we could without a vacuum) and filled up the tank before returning the van (so easy, just left it on the lot). Having been burned in the past by other rental companies (hit with hidden fees, cleaning fees, gas fees, etc...), I was expecting the worst. I am happy to report that the bill was as expected. Chicago Land Truck Rentals are the best, honest and good people, and I plan to use them on my next trip!

We rented a 15-person passenger van to fill with 15 college students for when Loyola went to the Final Four in San Antonio, TX. When we picked up the van, it was spotless. We were expecting an old model van, yet this was definitely less than 2 years old and barely had any miles. We drove it all the way to San Antonio and back and it ran flawlessly. He takes pride in ensuring the customer is happy, and it shows!We rented 2 passenger vans for a race, and were beyond happy. The vans were well maintained, and much to our pleasant surprise, were GREAT on gas mileage!The vans were ready to go when we got there, and even got a sneak peak at possible upgrades for next time.I will highly recommend Chicagoland Truck anytime I can, and they have certainly gained my business for any future needs!!
