I went here yesterday for the first time and had a very positive experience! I love that I was able to schedule online through their website. I arrived 10 minutes early and they still took me back within 3 minutes of my arrival. Mia gave me a beautiful set of dip nails with tips. She was very kind, professional, and fast! The entire appointment only took around 40 minutes, including picking my color and paying at the end! The woman who works the front counter was also very friendly and definitely knew what she was doing. I would go back in the future for sure!
Michelle did an amazing job with my nails. Everyone here was so nice and I will definitely be a repeat customer!
Tina performed my pedicure and acrylics. She did a PHENOMENAL job on my nail design! It looked better than the picture and you can tell she really enjoys that style of nail art. If you’re looking for something trendy but in the suburban area, you should book an appointment with Tina!
Rose did an excellent job. She was efficient but did not overlook any small details. In and out with ease
I’ve been going here for dip manicures and pedicures for about two years. It started out wonderful. But now every time I go I am rushed in and out. My mom has been going with me as well and we can’t even relax or spend time together. Our manicures are over in 15 minutes! And this last time my nails and finger tips hurt and were filed so hard I was bleeding. It’s just so sad that this salon and the people used to be really awesome. I think they schedule too many people in the day. And they take too many walkin’s. They need to realize that people can wait or come back. Invest in your loyal customers instead, or we won’t come back!
I have always had a great experience at VIP NAILS! They’re quality of work is amazing! and there all around experience has been worth the wait.
I have been to many nail salons and by far this is the best one! Perfect in every category
I have been coming here for years, and am never disappointed. Amy, Mia, Benji, Anna and Michelle have done my nails and are always beautiful. I love it here!!
I had to make two separate appointments because the website stated they didn’t have one person available for a manicure and pedicure back to back. However, when I arrived, Mandy was able to do both in an hour!Anytime I’ve gone to a salon to get a gel manicure I’ve always gone home with sore fingers, so today I was ecstatic for that to not be the case. She was gentle and efficient, and my only regret is that the credit card transactions don’t allow for a tip. I left all the cash I had, but I’ll have to make a stop by again to properly compensate Mandy, because she did an awesome job, and I’ll absolutely go back.
They are quick to get you in and out even with the top tier package for a pedicure. The kids chair are cute tho.
Last few times that I’ve been back since everything g reopened since Covid I haven’t been liking the service all that much, I always seen rushed. And this last tine I was there was July 30th and a few days later I was filing the nails back by my Cuticles and a few days ago the power was lifting up and one nail is almost all the way off. I sent them an email regarding this matter and never got a respond, I will Leo was still there I would have never had this problem and I don’t think after this I’ll be back. 😡
Went in for a luxury pedicure for $39. I was glad they didnt offer the option to tip, because the whole pedicure lasted MAYBE 15 minutes. Ive never had such a lazy pedicure before. No massage, nothing, they did wipe me down with a warm towel though haha.
I am someone who loves to write positive reviews for the great experiences I encounter, and rarely leave poor reviews for extraordinarily bad ones. This unfortunately is the latter.I have been a customer of this salon for over 4 years... I was a client of Leos before he mysteriously left without warning, and I continue to find new techs and stay loyal to them as they come and go. There are certain issues like punctuality - I make an appt a week in advance every time I visit and each time they are consistently at least 15 minutes late. This appt, I arrived 10 minutes early and the tech I had an appt with took another customer 5 minutes before I was supposed to start as I was sitting in the lobby. These are minor annoyances, but what we experienced today was something that pushed us to never visit this salon again. My mother was serviced by Anna for a pedicure, who has been doing my moms nails for close to 3 years. During my moms pedicure, Anna berated her the entire time, telling her how bad her feet were, how long her nails were, showing off the skin she filed off to myself and the customers next to me, telling her she was lying about taking care of herself, etc. Not only that, but she was scrubbing the tops of her toes so hard that when my mom expressed that it was hurting her, Anna mockingly responded that hurts? instead of apologizing. My mother felt completely humiliated, and myself and the people around me were clearly uncomfortable. As someone who has been loyal to this nail salon, Annas behavior today has pushed us to never give our money to VIP3 again. Such a shame. I understand we all may have bad days, but to bring someone down in the manner that she did was so wildly inappropriate to the point myself, my sister and my mother decided to never return. We are paying good money for a relaxing experience, not to be belittled and humiliated in front of other customers. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
Nice place however pedicures were super fast, more like an express rather than the normal relaxing places Ive visited.
I had an appointment today with Mia. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00-10:30. I waited in the lobby for 15 minutes and my pedicure was over at 10:30, I don’t even think I had a 15 minute service. Everything about my appointment was rushed just so she could get back on time for her 10:30 appointment. I completely understand when things are running behind and I don’t mind waiting but I don’t think appointments should be cut short because of it. And my polish is already chipping, 5 hours after my rushed appointment. Extremely disappointment, especially when you pay $39 for something.
Really enjoyed my pedicure. I got the Luxury Pedi which is a step up from the cheapest plus callus remover. I got a good leg massage, she did NOT skimp on getting the calluses off, and overall was pleased. The massage chairs really did a good job. Nice decorating, and even a kids area. They have a loyalty program which is nice.
Very clean and professional. I like how kind everyone is. It’s definitely my new place to get pedicures. 💗
Amy was amazing with my dip powder nails. She also gave me a gel French on my toes. I highly recommend her!!! Thank you Amy.Angel
The end result is good but from the moment you enter the business you are rushed, they dont even give you time to properly choose a color. They try to work very quickly and you dont get a relaxed experience, which is what I was looking for. To be fair, I went on a Sunday; not sure if during a week day it will be less stressful . Ive been to cheaper, better places; this place is expensive.
I had Mimi and she was very friendly, professional, gentle and gave me exactly the pedicure I wanted.Ill definitely be coming back.
Thankful for a friendly environment !!! I will definitely be back my nails look great!
Kim was extremely good and thoughtful throughout the whole process. The design looks exactly like the picture I showed!
Woman who did my daughters nails was so friendly. We got them done for vacation. Anywhere else we go at her age of 10 it comes off within days. Well it’s been 7 days and no chips! Looks great! She spoke to my child and made her and myself feel comfortable. Will be back soon
I brought my 2 daughters in, ages 5 and 10 and the younger guy who took care of them was absolutely wonderful! The two women who did mine and my fiances pedicures were very personable and did a wonderful job!
Deff will not recommend or go back. Not only were we rushed but the dip nail fail off. I didn’t even have a week with it, and I ended up taking the rest off. Not to mention it was super easy to do so cause they weren’t done properly. Yes it was a Sunday but do not take appointments if we are gonna be rushed, I rather get turned away than pay 146dlls not including the 20tip for something that didn’t last. I get my nails done as a form of relaxation and me time, not to feel stressed cause I’m being rushed out.
Excellent pedicure. Beautiful acrylic nails 💅.
Love love love this place. My nails look perfect every time! They’re always nice and the place is very clean.
I called and received service the same day. KenT provided me with an excellent VIP Pedicure. I intend to request him each time I visit.
I was in today for a dip mani and a shellac pedi. My appointment was at 11:15 and I was done at noon. $109 for 45 minutes of service. My nails are sore from the grinder used to take off cuticles instead of clipping them. I had no dip on so there was no need to grind excessively. My one pinky nail is actually cut. Not once was a manual cuticle cutter used. I felt very rushed and it was not a relaxing experience at all. I don’t think I will be returning. I used to love your services but any more it’s just hurry up and get them out.
First time here. Felt super rushed the whole time, was out within 30 mins of getting there. I got a gel manicure and 3 days later five of my nails were already chipping. Waste of $50.
Stopped in last minute on a shopping trip with my mom Saturday evening before Mothers Day literally 1 hour before closing. They welcomed us in stayed late & did EVERYTHING in between to accommodate us even serving us refreshments during our pampering! We both got full sets & pedis! My tech Vicky IS THE BOMB GO SEE HER!! Shes SUPER sweet funny & knows her stuff! It felt like Girl time with an old friend! I left feeling beautiful & most importantly RELAXED(those pedi chairs😍) The ENTIRE staff & atmosphere was friendly CLEAN serene an overall gorgeous place. Also tech Alvin aka Mike😂is an especially patient good guy who did his thing with my mamas nails, they are BEAUTIFUL!! I DEFINITELY will be returning & I encourage everyone reading this to go see for yourself! (I in no way have been compensated or promised anything! I truly am a very satisfied & impressed patron) VICKY, GIRL YOU ROCK!
I had my nails done with dip, had to return to fix one, 48 hours after, it broke one day after I got it done but it was thanksgiving. Then 4 days later they started to crack for no reason, and 4 broke, again I had to drive 50 minutes to get it fixed. As I arrived I noticed my nail tech wasn’t here, someone else fixed it, and had the nerve To charge me10$... just so pitiful. I often get dip and deluxe pedicures, bring my mom and friends with me, and they lost a customer over a pitiful 10$ congratulations on not being very inclined to the “American way” of doing business properly. I had to drive 50 minutes twice, to get your mistakes fixed, and you punished me for it. I will NEVER walk in there again! Sincerely. Monica.
Now this is a new one for me. My wife finally talked me into getting a pedicure. I wasnt too thrilled at the fact that I was going to a shop full of ladies and be the only guy. WELL, to my surprise half the people we guys. If you like getting a massage then youll love a pedicure! My dry, callused and cracking feet were tough from years a a kid running full blast across a horse pasture and gravel road barefoot. All those years of torture were gone in no time, amazing. Ive been there twice now and will be making it a quarterly event. The staff is great, the service is exceptional and for Mothers Day they really catered to the moms. They even had cheese and crackers for guests while they waited. If you want to spoil your wife, friend, mother or friends they have gift cards for any occasion.
Great nail place! The ambiance is everything!
Awful waste of $, didn’t file my toe nails, didn’t clean under the toe nail, I still have dry rough skin on side of my big toes, and the polish job is horrible half my toes are not fully polished so you still see the nail the other half have polish all around the nail on my skin
VIP III Robinson Town Center is the only place to go for exquisite pampering!!! Clean and pandemic ready, comfortable with newer massage chairs, friendly staff, I can’t rave enough about this place or the skill and professionalism of MiMi, Sam and the whole Team. I frequent VIP III nails multiple times a year for years, many times are with less than perfect care to my nails and bad timing, sometimes they are extremely busy, or like I did today, closing. First I want to tell you I called in and ask if they could take me for a mani/pedi. The girl that answered the phone said yes we will, (it was 6:42 pm, they close at 7) I said great, I wasn’t sure about your operating hours anymore with this pandemic. She says no problem, how long until you’re here. I can’t thank them enough for going the extra mile for me again and not knowing who I am, a VIP member or that thankfully I called from the parking lot but I am truly grateful. So like I said I showed up way overdue for my visit and they did a gorgeous and detailed job!! Sam and MiMi each did a FABULOUS job, I can’t wait to show these off!! They are skilled artists at VIP and do beautiful work that lasts. Also, not just fabulous because it was my choice of a gorgeous hot pink ombré finger nails and hot pink toes with gemstones but that they never once made me feel rushed, never said we’re closing or trying to hurry, they both contributed to help enhance my look knowing it will take longer and didn’t skip any steps all the way to the last one. Thank you for that, you do your best every time and it’s greatly appreciated. The VIP III Team makes you feel pampered and appreciate the services you paid for. I felt as if I were the first customer of the day, not the last and definitely not the one that they willingly stayed another 40 minutes to pamper! You should book your appointment now to enjoy the compliments that will roll your way. Thank you again to everyone at VIP III for raising the bar on how business should be run!!
POOR SERVICE. Unprofessional, Unqualified, and Ignorant business. Won’t go there again, NEVER! I drove all the way from West Virginia and had an appointment at 5:30 and I was there by 5:20. There wasn’t any receptionist or anyone to check us in. I had been waiting until 6:00 after that they checked in a group of women who had appointment at 6:00 which is 30 minutes after mine and worked on them while ignoring me and some other women who were there first. Can’t even imagine how rude they were.
I had a lovely experience here! The staff is very nice, and the quality of my nails was above and beyond what I expected!
I love going to VIP. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very welcoming. I always schedule my appointments with Bryan. Hes so good at what he does I always refer to him as Dr. Bryan 😁
Bring cash to tip!Even though they were busy and an hour from closing, they were able to get me in for a quick reshape and polish change. Jenny did an amazing, fast, beautiful job and everyone was very friendly! The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming and conversational. Im sad that Im going home to Florida. I would come back to this location for everything I need!
I’ve been to other VIP salons and this one is the absolute best. They’re open and taking walk ins even though quarantine just got lifted. They’re very kind and make sure you leave happy. It’s always decorated beautifully inside for every season, holiday, and or event. i’ve never consistently went to the same nail salon until i found Leo here at this place. I would highly recommend coming here and if Leo isn’t available, all of their employees do great work!
They got me in without an appointment but they are too busy to take time with anyone. Gel nails started to chip within a few days.
Gel nails alright, I didnt like being rushed choosing a color though
Got a pedi for the first time and it amazing.
My favorite place to get my nails done. It is very clean and they did an amazing good. They are open for walk ins and scheduled appointments, and will definitely be back.
When people call to schedule please understand that we can not get you in ASAP when we have people calling days before or ever two weeks in advance to schedule. You can call and schedule but it will be 1.5 to 2 hour out. When you call and ask if are busy, and we say it’s not. Then you show up 1/2 hour later and there is a ten minute wait, understand that we have walk ins! So within that half hour we had 4 walk in and 2 scheduled people come in. That is why there may be a wait! Our workload can change within minutes and we really try to please our customers! We offer free beverages, always have candy on hand, great music, three TV to make your wait more accommodating! If your ever unhappy with anything, please talk to me, Tran, or Jay! Our goal is to service you and provide that VIP III Nails outstanding nail spa experience ! We might not always get it right but we will always try and we aim to please!
Hey there - I just edited my review from a generous 4 stars to an even more generous 1 star as I cannot go any lower. Why you ask??You can thank your lovely Anna as you just lost 3 loyal customers who have been coming to VIP Nails for the last 2 years. Anna, who my quiet and kind mother sees each time and tips generously, berated and humiliated her during what was to be a relaxing pedicure. I’m not talking a simple “boy your feet need done” comment. I’m talking full out humiliating my mom and telling her she clearly does not take care of herself based by her calloused feet, showing the dead skin she got off of her to other customers, commenting on how long her toenails were. The ENTIRE length of the pedicure. I really wish I had been present because we would have left right then wet feet and all. And, as my mom is too kind to speak up, she quietly paid for the sad pathetic service and even still paid a gratuity, while saying she simply wouldn’t be returning.Anna may have been having a bad day. We all do. As I mentioned, my mom has been going to her for the last 2 years. But Anna just lost a customer and 2 more won’t be returning as a result. And if they keep this kind of poor quality customer service, they will continue to lose more.Good luck with that.UPDATE - YOU CAN KEEP YOUR “free” PEDICURE VOUCHER AS WE DO NOT WISH TO RETURN.
I wont be returning. I went last month and was excited to try the VIP experience. I called ahead of time and they said no wait. I arrived and they said 10 minutes. I waited over 15 minutes and have never had a more rushed fill in my life. They missed multiple steps and then charged me extra for almond shape even though they hardly even filed my nails as they were already almond shape. When I checked out, I shared my concern with the receptionist who was having a friendly conversation with her ear buds in with a personal friend. She told me most people like our really fast service and the person you had usually does a good job. If they chip, you can come back in during the first week. For the price I paid and description of this salon, I was expecting more. Save your dollars and go to a different salon!
Did a great job and very clean. They are open for walk-ins and scheduled appointments. Will definitely be back.
Had a good experience, this was the first trip to the salon since Covid. People are masked and distanced, but I wish there were dividers between the customers, not just the customer and the technician.
I needed a more flexible nail place since my last provider sold her store so after reading the reviews I decided to make an appointment first and try it. I was 8 minutes late and waited an additional 20 minutes for my appointment. I got my nails done and they are done. Nothing special, just pink and white. It being my first time at the shop, I will say some of the warnings from other posts did not occur . I saw no list of prices or services, no one tried to upgrade services, or asked for cash. So I was pleased. However, the service part was missing for sure. I did not get offered a drink while I waited for services, usually I get hand cream afterward with a massage, not there. I saw others getting some so not sure what made my service different. When paying I asked about appointments and the lady told me that unless you ask for someone specifically then your appointment just a step above a walk-in. So if you want a timely appointment ask for a specific person. Since I had never been there before I had no name to offer. My service was adequate but certainly not VIP.
I have been seeing Jenny every 2-3 weeks for about a year. She does such a nice and thorough job with both the dip powder manicure and pedicures. I’ve never felt rushed with her. She does beautiful work and I’ve received many compliments on my nails.
I am giving VIP 3 Nails 1 star after the experience I had there on Friday, July 5th. I would recommend you stay away, for more details I encourage you to read about what happened below. My friend and I were enjoying a girls night out and decided to try out this nail salon on a whim. Although the salon itself was clean and the receptionist was nice, I had ended up having an unpleasant experience with my nail tech (Sam).I was a walk-in client and signed up to get a gel manicure done. Sam called me back to his station and I could tell he had a bit of an attitude but I thought, eh its whatever, everyone has a bad day once in a while, right? We get to his station and he asks if I want tips. I reassured him that I would just like a gel manicure and let him know the color I wanted. He then begins to start my nails but continues to ask me if Id like tips a couple more times. At this I have become flustered, indecisive, and pressured so I say yes, I will do tips. In me saying this he becomes irate and literally rips the bags of solution on my nails off of my hands, stands up, heavily sighs and yells DO YOU WANT TIPS OR NOT?! Starting to feel scared and feeling bad that I had made him mad, I told him Im sorry, if its easier, then we can just do gel. He was visibly frustrated and said, if you want tips then thats what youll get. I washed my hands and came back to his station then he starts calling someone on his cell phone while performing my services which was super rude and unprofessional. The remainder of the time I felt incredibly uncomfortable and as if I was a nuisance to him. He would ask me questions about my nails and I would just agree that I was happy with what he was doing, for fear that he could easily go off on me again. In the end, my nails turned out decent. However, the way I was treated was unacceptable. I am a receptionist/stylist and I would never treat someone like that in the salon, or anywhere for that matter.
David was awesome very friendly professional and did an awesome job on my pedicure. My favorite nail salon in all of Pittsburgh.
I have been coming to VIP for 2 years now! They are the only salon in the Pittsburgh area that offers a loyalty program with the opportunity to earn double points! Their prices are so reasonable no matter your budget. All of their technicians have been great. I trust them so much that I don’t even pick a technician when I walk in because everyone I have ever been to here has done an amazing job. They even offer complimentary drinks from water, to pop, to wine! They have a dedicated area for children with the cutest chairs and back drop. I will highly recommend them time and time again!
You have to pay close attention to the service they attempt to provide. I asked for regular acrylic and had to STOP them from almost putting dip on. That would have been an extra $15 I didnt plan on spending for a service I didnt ask for. I corrected the tech but he kept trying to push it. Also, pedicure was extremely rushed and not very relaxing.
Went to get a pedicure and spent extra for the luxury. There’s bubbles in the white and white polish on my cuticles. I could’ve done it at home..I wrote a review because I did not want to cause a scene in the salon and instantly reacted.Jay was beyond helpful and as soon as I expressed my concerns he made sure to give me points!
Always pleasant to go!
I love this place. They do incredible nail services and you can enjoy a glass of wine while you’re having services done. I go there and I see Steven and he’s tops. They’re all good, but I stick with him. Highly recommend.
This is my absolute FAVORITE salon. Tran the owner and her husband and staff are absolutely AMAZING.Oh and let me shout out to my nail tech HANNAH!!! She is both professional and VERY QUICK!! 🥰🥰 Thank you beautiful lady!! See you next time!
So I made an appointment online to get my nails done here and they asked who you would like to do your nails. I had never been there before so I just picked no preference and let them pick for me. I got an email right after confirming my appointment and also a reminder email the day of my appointment. When I showed up the girl at the front desk asked if I had an appointment and I told her I did. She said she wasnt seeing any appointments for that time and then asked for my name. When I told her my name she said Oh you made an appointment with Leo and he isnt here today. First of all, they were the ones who scheduled me with Leo because I never picked a specific person to do my nails and second, if Leo wasnt there that day and you can see that I was supposed to have an appointment with him then why wasnt I contacted in advance so that I didnt have to waste my time driving all the way out there and could have figured out somewhere else to get my nails done. Also the girl at the front desk wasnt trying to be accommodating or find a solution for me at all. All she said was well we are going to be closing soon. She couldve said Im sorry and asked if I would like to schedule an appointment for another time, but instead made it seem as though it was my fault and pretty much there was nothing they could do because they were going to be closing soon. So I just left and definitely will not be going back
They do the best dip manicure and they take the extra step in pedicure. They are extremely clean and personable. I go out of my way to go here
After having issues with my local nail salons, VIP was suggested to me by a friend and they did not disappoint. The salon is clean and beautiful, everyone was super friendly and Anna did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job on my nails. I left with exactly what I wanted, beautiful, neat nails. It’s well worth my 30 minute drive and is definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been. :)
I will not be returning to this nail salon EVER again. I came here once before and experienced unnecessary charges. I decided to give this place another chance since a few coworkers recommended the same nail technician. So I decided to give it one last shot, since I knew what original charges I had gotten last visit. And yet again, I got charged for “nail shape” when I walked in with the same nail shape I left with. I tried to argue it and they simply said if they cut and file the nail to a “requested” shape that is where the charge comes from. I stated when asked about what nail shape I wanted - the same shape just touched up (since it’s been forever since getting my nails filled) - I have left this place angry and overcharged twice and will never be returning here. Awful experience
I was a loyal customer of VIP III Nails for years but have moved out of the area and they are too far away to go to so I feel comfortable giving an honest review. Here are the things you should know:-The front staff is super friendly.-The quality of the service that will be provided will be dependent on two things; the individual technician and how busy they are. There are a few technicians who provide quality work no matter how busy they are and then others will provide an ok service when busy.-If you are able to find one of the technicians who provide consistently good work then don’t deviate. Those there that provide good work do an AMAZING job.-Do not schedule an appointment for 9:30 when they open. There will be no one there at that time. The staff work late nights and arrive at various times in the morning. Book your appointment at 10am at the earliest.-The staff will try and sell you on a more expensive service. The more expensive the service you have done the more they make in tips. You can have an awesome experience here, you just have to be aware of some things in order to do so!
Awesome service was great
This was supposed to be a treat for my granddaughter that was starting kindergarten and it was not. Once the nail technician realized it was for a child and Not an adult her nose was in her phone and rushed through the services to move on to the next person. Little was she aware that this would have been a weekly occurance for her. Anyway on to the next salon to find a competent individual who knows how to take care of a paying customer no matter what the age.
This is my first time here and The experience started out great. I didn’t think $35 was bad for a pedicure. Then I decided to get my nails painted and only painted no fake nails involved. It ended up costing me $92. For a manicure and pedicure, $92 is absurd. I was also send home with nail polish on my cuticles and sides of my fingers. I will not be back.
Love this place!! Have been coming here for a couple years for dip manicures and pedicures! Love all the little extra steps like hot towel, etc. Jenny is my tech and she is great, with great technique!
What an elegant nail salon. Very friendly staff and beautiful decor. The even serve complimentary wine. Many manicure chairs and pedicure chairs. Sat back and relaxed in my massage chair and felt so pampered. Next time you need a manicure or pedicure check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend.
Second visit here. First visit I wasnt to impressed but decided to give them another chance. I can honestly say Nancy came through! My gel manicure and pedicure is perfect! I even showed her what color I wanted on my phone and she knew exactly what color it was. I see a few reviews saying how expensive they are and I am not sure how much it normally cost but I paid $90 for services. I will definitely be back!
Wow I’m very disgusted with this place... what is the point of being a VIP MEMBER with no perks? I called to schedule a appointment with Mimi the receptionist said she’s all booked. Then was about to hang up the phone I said well I still need to make a appointment! She proceeded to say they are booked because of prom season like I get my nails done by mimi I give her a 10 tip every-time! VIP Nails you def lost a loyal customer I will never return back to the place again! Ever now I see why this place have horrible reviews! I wish I could give 0 stars
The prices are more than other salons in the area. I upgraded to a more expensive pedicure. It was rushed. And it took a total time of 20 minutes. A normal pedi usually takes MINIMUM of 30 minutes. I didn’t feel relaxed or pampered. I wasn’t offered any sort of beverage. (Like most people rave about). The manicure was the same way. And the pushing of more expensive services is annoying. Too much money for the services received. I say skip this place and go on to the next one.
We had a great time! 4 of us went and we all enjoyed the experience. We got there shortly before our appointment and they were right on time. My mom really liked Ann and even got a couple designs on her nails. I would highly recommend them and we will be back.
I went here because the reviews & pictures were promising but that’s far from what i got. my nails are totally different lengths, shapes, & sizes. i’d point out different things to my nail tech, who was laughing the whole time. he told me not to worry about it & then tried to charge me extra.
Great experience with Anna! It was my first visit to VIP nails after visiting several nail salons in the area of Robinson over several months and I loved my experience here. The powder application was perfect and she understood how to make my nails look natural. Thank you Anna for your awesome service, professionalism and kindness. See you soon.
Fast efficient and clean, love this salon. All the technicians are great, I have had Jen and Train work on my nails a couple times. I brought my boyfriend there for his first pedicure and he loved it. Professional, courteous, patient and really good at what they do. Keep up the great work.
I usually leave this establishment happy with how my nails turn out but there is always some hidden, additional cost added to my total. Last time I went I gave a description of exactly what I wanted so I would know precisely what Id be spending... But the nail technician went against what I said and gave me a more expensive polish resulting in me spending $20 more than what I wanted. Very disappointed. In addition to this, my fingers (plural) were cut by the file and are now bleeding from the open wounds. This place has lost my business.
They do a great job but the receptionist doesn’t pay attention to the customer that she is waiting on and now I’m out money because apparently it’s my fault I didn’t realize soon enough that she didn’t give me correct change.
I am never one to write reviews about anything, but I have mixed feelings on this salon. My first experience here, the power went out during my appointment. The technician still managed to do a good job on my fingers and toes, however the polish did not quite match like I had hoped it would. Also a couple of steps were skipped during the process.I figured I would give the salon another try though. I had two different techs, both were very friendly. However, I asked for a matching polish on my toes to accompany my powder dip mani and after leaving the salon, the colors did not match at all. Also, do cuticles not get pushed back with the dip powder? The past two visits, my cuticles have not been touched. I would sure hope so with a $45 mani! After paying, the receptionist was kind of snooty with the tip amount I was leaving. I tip on the quality of work.I have several friends who go to this salon and love it. I only wish I felt the same. Maybe the third time will be a charm? Ugh.The more I look at my fingernails, they were sloppily done. My toes are perfectly fine except for the polish not matching. I’m extremely disappointed considering I just blew $85. I will not be returning.
I was getting a pedicure with a friend and the woman dug so hard at my toenails with her non sterile piece of equipment and it now has caused an infection in my toe. Will never go to this nail salon again and will make sure everyone who asks me about it knows how terrible it is.
I am not one to get mad about stupid things but my experience was horrible!!! I walked in around 11 am & I asked how long the wait was. The receptionist told me it would be a 20 minute wait. If it was longer then a half hour I told myself Id go somewhere else but I thought 20 minutes was reasonable. After waiting an hour, I finally got sat at noon. The girl doing my nails was in such a hurry that she cut me 3 times on my cuticles. I was bleeding and it did not even phase her. Then she barely filed down my nails, and did not smooth them out after so they were all scratchy. She painted them so fast she did not even cover my full nails and I was charged $40 for a gel fill when the sheet said $30. After it was all said and done I was home by 12:35! It took her literally 20 minutes total on my nails. All they want is to move people through so fast to make more money, they dont even take any time on their clients.
Great nail place
Had a great experience! I have short nails to begin with, and my technician suggested we try the dip nails and to give my nails a little length. She was super helpful and I love the way my nails look. The color selection is great too, lots to choose from, which I love. Will definitely be going back very soon and would recommend!
A little unsure. The first time I went, the technician did a fabulous job on my nails, however not the friendliest person. But it is the overall result I really care about and I did love them! This past time (5/17/19) I had a technician that rushed through the job, didnt clean up my cuticles which now makes my nails look like I am going to need a fill in a week and they dont look professional! Also, he didnt allow enough time under the UV light so I will be curious how long it takes before they start to peel. Not sure if I want to go back. The convenience of being down the street from work and going on my lunch hour is very nice and might sway me to try again.Another visit-3 days later to get my peeling nails repaired. (I knew that wasnt enough time under the UV light!)CiCi did an amazing job, the manager was more than willing to assist and make sure I was happy with the new job. We got pedis too while we were there and that turned out perfect as well.Thank you to both ladies for making it right and understanding why I was upset. I will be back.
I was in town for a wedding and got my nails done here. I got a manicure and a pedicure done by Vicky. She suggested a style and color combination that turned out to be really amazing! I got a full set done with ombré pink/glittery using powder. Not all salons have powder so I was really happy to get powder instead of the gel!! It’s much healthier & doesn’t take as long. If I’m ever back in town I will most definitely come back and see Vicky!
