Like I said this place is great and Amy is the best for everybody who works there is the best her brothers her whole family is indescribably amazing at what they do and how fast they do it!!

The best pedicure and nail design Ive had in years.

Some of thier techs are better than others. But even when my nails didnt turn out quite as nice as I would have liked, they still did a nice job. Sometimes, I have been greeted kind of rudely. And so that is why I only gave them 4 stars. I dont know names real well yet, but there are a few outstanding stars that work there. Worth going.

Amazing job on my nails. Was travelling back to my moms house and on the way there had a bad chip in my nail appear. And this is right before my birthday. They were able to fit me in and get me back on the road. Application for the dip powder was thin and natural looking!

Made the appointment yesterday, went in to a tub of cold water and a chair without heat or massage. I dint even know why they bothered opening today.

Nice place. Made 2 day of bookings for acrylics and a regular mani too. Clean place as well. Lee and Tom were great and efficient.

Been going here since the early 2000s. Always reliable and always staying current with the latest trends. As a hairstylist, I have my hands in water constantly and even the gels they do tend to last a good couple weeks. Although, my newest obsession is the dip nail polish. This stuff stays forever. I tend to need my nails done sooner due to regrowth rather than chipped polish. This photo was taken this evening after my latest dip nail manicure by Lee. She did a wonderful job and I would say this is the the best my dip has been out if the 4 times prior to this evening. Thanks Lee! Next time I will be requesting you instead of anyone 🤗

Staff is very nice and personable. I recently moved back to the area and needed to find a friendly, reliable, and clean salon. I came in at 7 pm, an hour before they closed, and although they were busy they make sure to make me a priority and they met all of my standards. I will definitely be back!

I went to this salon yesterday and they did a great job on my nails! Everybody there was so nice and i personally think their the best salon that i been to so far in Pittsburgh!! Their prices are nice and they were gentle while doing my nails. I will now continue to go there, thanks!

They were very nice. With reasonable prices. Convenient location with parking. Have same day appointments. They answered all my questions about pricing over the phone and honored that price. No over charging, asked me exactly what I needed done and told me the charges for the services before they did it. LA Nail & Tanning is an awesome place to go. Highly recommend. I will be returning.

Great place for pedicure and dip! Nice staff

Absolutely horrible. I went for a manicure and a gel polish and by the time she was done with my manicure I made an excuse to get out of there because I definitely was not gonna let them polish my nails. The woman I had was so rude and all of her equipment came out of a dirty little box and none of it look sanitized and you could see it was all used prior and when she was done using it on me she threw it right back in that gross box. She wouldn’t listen to anything I asked and I left with my nails all types of different shapes and to top it off she tried to over charge me ! Never again will I go here

My nails look great, however the young girl that put my tips on seemed like she didn’t really know what she was doing. the older man who did my acrylic was nice but i felt like he was rushing to get done with me and was being pretty rough with my nails. my fingers are still sore. that being said i do love my nails so no complaints with the final product.

If youre not a regular, dont waste your time or money. Service is lowsy. I only went for a pedicure and was there for an hour because the nail tech kept rushing off to go to the front, for no reason. He had no other customers at this point. Not only did he leave me unattended but he barely did his job. I havent had a pedicure in a while, so I know my feet needed attention to detail. He barely spoke to me the entire hour. Im not a regular, but Ive been to this location before. Everyone who goes there regularly says they love it, thats why I tried it several different times. Since I dont frequent (every 1-2 weeks) religiously Im treated like a number. That was my last visit. I will not and do not recommend this salon to any friends, families, or strangers.

Every time I go here it’s like they give me someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing. All I wanted was gel polish on my nails and they look terrible. There’s polish all over around my nails on my skin. I always have a bad experience. Never again

NEVER going here again. Asked for my nails slightly shorter and the woman cut them almost down to my finger tips on a few fingers, left my nails each a different shape than the other, I went in with almond nails for a fill and now I have some oval, coffin and almond shaped nails all of which are completely uneven. Not worth the money at all.

Ive been going here for since I was a teenager!! I love it here!! Everyone is friendly and they do an AWESOME job on my nails!! Prices are super reasonable too especially compared to other nail salons!!

Fast friendly service.

Staff was very very friendly the service was fast the only downfall was that I couldnt leave a tip on my credit or debit card and I dont carry cash with me ever. The second time around I had a full set done with coffin cut style nails I was absolutely satisfied with the style and the quality of the nails I made an appointment to have a filling done when its time.

Was recommended this business by a friend, love the service and the quality of the job they did. I will be back!

Such an awful experience. My nails are so sloppy I will have to go have them fixed somewhere else. Disappointed doesn’t even begin to describe how I’m feeling. Can’t believe they charged me $40 for the worst manicure of my life!

I went here to get my nails done and a pedicure two weeks ago. The lady who did my nails and toes did a horrible job! After 5 days my nails were popping off and already needed filled! I called and said I needed them fixed. So I went in last Friday to get them fixed. The same lady did them after I said I didn’t want her to do them! She said she would fix them. I had a picture on my phone what color and design I wanted and she told me “no”! That is your job! So she painted them the colors I wanted but didn’t do the design! So she was gonna charge me $20! After I just spent $70 five days prior the get my nails and toes done! So I said I’m not paying $20! She only took $5 off! Now it’s been a week since then and my nails look grown out and some are crooked! I will never ever go here again and I will never recommend anyone going to this nail salon!

Seems like the only one who cares is AMY, is her name I believe. All the other workers are very short and rude with customers. I asked repeatedly for the shape of my nails to be coffin shaped and yet they are not coffin shaped. Almost all of my nails are shaped differently when looking closely. As well as it’s only been a week today and 2 of my nails are now broke. The first nail broke only 3 days after having them done. All of the solar powder is very thin which is why I’m sure they broke so easily bc I am not hard on my hands nor do I do heavy work or any work in water or anything like that which would cause them to break easily. There are also spots on my nails that are darker than the others bc of not being properly spread out when doing them. Although the establishment is very nice I would not recommend any one to go here unless you are seeing Amy (she is not the one who did my nails) unless you have a relationship built with one of the other workers. I went back today to get the 2 nails that broke fixed (ONLY bc I couldn’t gaurentee the solar I choose another shop would have the same colors I have) and I was treated very rude when I explained I was there to get them fixed that I was disappointed it’s only been 1 week today and they broke so easily not to mention they aren’t even shaped how I wanted but I just wanted the 2 fixed to look like the others and I was told I would have to wait at least 30 minutes if not a hour that I would be squeezed in while they were with other customers which i declined nicely and said I would be back — I did not state but thought it is not fair to other customers for the workers to rush and try to do 2 people at once on top of trying to squeeze me in. So sad and upsetting when you are paying for a service and have to repeatedly request and tell them what you want done or to fix something bc it clearly doesn’t look right but after asking her to file them to a coffin shape more than 4x I was fed up and just wanted to be done especially beings she had cut me 3x with the nail file and made me bleed 2x. If you want really nice pretty nails and not have to deal with any aggravation definitely go else where to spend your hard earned money you work for because they do not work hard to deserve the money they charge!!!

I wish I could post pics. The owner seem cool. And like they would have done a good job. But first experience they put me with a older man that i had to keep telling he was missing thing and so many touch ups. And I wanted full color solar and he did tips. I asked him why he was doing it that way he said just wait a hand later I asked again how is this going to be the full color. And he said no just the tips.. I didnt want just the tips. They arent filed the way I asked. Matter of fact there all different shapes and I am completely unhappy with my nails. I can also see what people mean by being a regular there.. shouldnt let someones first experience there be this bad. Lost a customer.. I was hoping this place was good. I work right up the street

Just beyond disappointed with the way my nails and pedicure turned out, I would not recommend or go back here again, the whole experience was painful and looks terrible I ended up going somewhere else and having my nails redone they were that bad.

I never had an appt and always walk-in because I never know when I will have the time to keep an appt and they always fit me in withing 15 mins. I appreciate this place and their prices are reasonable and comparable to other salons. I have been going monthly now and recommend them!

If i could give zero stars i would. Not only didnt my cuticles get cut up so badly, my acrylic was thin, my polish didnt cover my nails, my nails werent even.. ect. I will not return or waste my money.

Made appointment with an established nail technician and then given to a trainee. Worst manicure ever! Over paid for a subpar manicure. Really disappointed

My mother asked for a matte top coat nail polish and they gave her shiny if you’re BLACK I don’t recommend you going there you’ll feel so uncomfortable
