I’ve been through numerous nail techs for the simple fact they do great nails but none were of quality that lasted more than 3 weeks... until I met JENNA. Not only does she deliver great shaping and lays acrylic phenomenally but her work has lasted well over 4 weeks for me EACH time. I run a successful lash business so I’m not able to sit in a nail salon every two weeks. Jenna provides such great quality nails that I’m only spending one day out of the month at the nail salon. I’m beyond happy! My mom is now a faithful client as well :) 10/10 would highly recommend!!! Thank you Jenna !!

I wanted to get my nails done last minute and came here b/c my typical nail place was booked. Had a pretty good experience here! They were really busy the day I came (Friday evening) so I had to wait awhile to get serviced (a little over an hour). I had Jenna and she was really sweet! The design wasn’t exactly what I asked for but was very close to it and I was pleased with it. I would recommend this place!

Carter was the best nail technician I’ve ever had. He took the time to not only make sure my nails were nothing but perfect but had a great conversation during my time at the salon. I will now be a regular! Thanks Carter for the great dip nails.

The first time I went to nail Envy in Shadyside I had a good experience, the guy I went to was nice and the service was quick. I left satisfied. My second experience was the total opposite. I had to wait an hour and a half past my appointment time and when I finally got in the chair I asked for a very basic service and was turned down for that service. So I asked the nail tech why I couldn’t have a service so basic and in return I was told I could leave. It was a demeaning experience and it made me feel really embarrassed, not even mad. I’ll be fair when I say it was a busy day so maybe the lady was overwhelmed..

I am new to Pittsburgh so I chose this place based on the reviews . My experience was amazing with Carter the nail tech. He was very friendly and very detail oriented and he did a great job on my dip nails. Very satisfied and I will for sure go to him again.

I absolutely love coming here! Ive been seeing Hanna for my acrylic nails recently and she (along with everyone else) does excellent work! My nails stay on for 3-4 weeks if I need them to, I 100% recommend Envy 2!

I’ve never written a review for a single product or service in my life, but I left this salon so disappointed in their service that I have too. EXTREMELY rude to their customers, the woman who seemed to be in charge was the worst one. Prices are ridiculous, they Basically charged me double for a fill because they didn’t do my nails previously. When I was leaving she told me next time would be cash only. There are NO signs stating that, nor did they inform me of that prior to starting my nails. The lady next to me also paid with a card and was NOT told that next time would be cash only. So that’s simply a lie. If I was as terrible of a person as they are of a business, I would not have tipped them. Obviously, I will never be back to this salon. I would let my nails rot before walking back in.

I got my nails done at one nail salon and they were awful. Called Envy II Nails and they took me right away and made them absolutely perfect and exactly what I asked for. Jenna is the best and basically performed surgery on my old nails!! Highly recommend.

I lived here for an entire year before finding this wonderful salon. The staff is wonderful and attentive. I have been with both Tom and Yen before and they do a really nice job (and have a great family). The nail tech I go to now is Vincent and he is dope! He has attention to detail, is very friendly, and because of him, I have been able to grow my real nails (see below), which never break. He can do any shape and cares a lot about his work. I’ve also had Olivia, Yen and Hayley do my brows and they’ve been perfect each time. I come every 3 weeks and will continue to do so!

I have never been able to grow out my nails in a healthy way. They always broke, and I assumed I was meant to have short nails. By chance, I had Linda one day when I came in for a gel manicure. We talked about what I wanted and she recommended doing a dip manicure. I’ve continued to see her and my nails are now the longest *and strongest* they’ve ever been. I’m really happy with how my nails, and she always has great recommendations for colors and designs.

5/9/21Mother’s Day surprise for my mom. Arrived 5 min early for appt. stood for 10min with no one acknowledging us. Sat down and waited another 5min. The store was not busy, we were the only ones waiting in chairs. It was so uncomfortable and rude to not be acknowledged that we left. My mom tried to get 2 different peoples attention. We wouldn’t have minded waiting if someone had just greeted us. Will never go back.

The guy totally had a attitude while doing my pedicure, he rushed it, didn’t even do my calluses, very rough,, he was yanking my feet, I use to come here years ago and it I thought it was the best pedicure I had gotten but the guy who did them before is no longer here, he brought this place to life, his personality and work was literally the best, to bad I will not be returning after this visit due to the lack of work and them rushing my pedicure!!!!!

NEVER go here! I made an appointment for 3:00 and didnt get into a chair until 3:45. They made me wait until my boyfriend go his pedicure done to even start on me and by then it was 4:15 and I had to leave for another appointment. They were out of hot water as well. Also a gentleman came around and was trying to sell t-shirts which was very uncomfortable for everyone. Dont waste your time.

Third time going here and I am very happy with my nails every time I leave. They are shaped well and look clean and professional. Just got dip done for a wedding im in. They repaired a crack in one of my nails and were able to keep my natural length like I asked. Super happy with how they came out!! Great service, always friendly as well. Definitely recommend

I had appointment with them....I came on time with my baby in baby trolley. The boss told Mom you should find someone take care your baby and come back later . I couldnt believe it is truth....It was normal everywhere ....in that time her baby crying in room and another little girl ran around her nail salon . I was faced discrimination, according to her . I am extremely disappointed. I went to this salon repeatedly and recommended it to all of my friends but I am so disappointed with my service that I do not want to return. When I arrived, I showed a picture to a nail tech of my desired look, to which he said he could not do. I understood and appreciated his honesty so I selected one color and continued anyways. Initially my tech was kind but once I disagreed with him, he became frustrated with me. When he asked me how long I wanted my nails, I said long, which I told him prior. He then told me “No, that’s too long” and cut my nail very short. I told him again that I wanted my nails long and he said “It’ll look long when I put the powder on. Too long will break off.” Why argue with me when I’m paying? Why can’t I get the service I wanted? I then insisted that I wanted long nails and he said “Long nails is $65,” as if I didn’t have the money to pay for it. When he started filing with the drill, he literally filed part of my skin from my cuticle bed off! My finger is still in so much pain from it! My finger started to bleed and he didn’t give me a napkin for it! Not only that but the application of the powder isn’t consistent like I’d like and instead looks like a marble and lastly, I asked for a tapered square but he gave me a regular short and chunky square. I did not want that shape at all! Plus my nails are too thin and I’m worried this won’t last very long AND this is not the same color as the one I picked out. I am so irritated and disappointed with my service. I was hoping I’d like my nails but my service was as agitating as the final result! If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Very over priced for a basic nail set . Poor shaping for a basic nail shape. Can’t complete costumers wants. they complete their suggestions . They have a preferred payment method and don’t notify their costumers ahead of time of the preferred payment method . Poor communication skills if you don’t do or get what they want to do on your nail. Also keep repeating it too you or asking you like you aren’t sure of what you want or cant understand basic communication. That was rude . They’ll take your nails off and have another nail tech complete it and still charge you full price because you want something specific and they messed up doing what they wanna do on your nail . I asked for square, she did a coffin nail shape while also complaining on the length I wanted and telling me what time it was . Saying there closed/ or closing when I came before closing and it took THEM a while to do my nails due to the unnecessary confusion on a basic nail set. No gems, no special nail shape, no extra long nail shape nothing but it was so hard and time consuming for something basic and pricy . Took my nails off and made me pay full price for their inconvenience. Poor communication skills. Very rushed . They’re “too busy “ for quality . Ask for prices before paying so you can see if you got your money’s worth .

If you go to their website and youre unable to book an appointment online, I recommend you call. They got me in on the same day and Im pleased. Im a very neutral/plain person so Im not big on color but what I did get was an acrylic full set. I also recommend an early appointment because parking can suck.

I am always so happy with my gel manicure when I go here, no matter who does the manicure. Ive been to many different nail salons and my gel nails will last 2 weeks IF Im lucky. Every time I get them done at Envy II, my gel manicure lasts 3-4 weeks. They never charge me to remove my pre-existing gel nails, which some salons will do. Everyone who works there is also extremely friendly!

If you make an appointment make sure you have nothing else to do within the next 3 hours because they do not honor appointment times. I left after waiting for 30 minutes. Very rude staff, unprofessional. I’ve heard this place was THE place to go in Shadyside but I will never be going back.

Tracy and kevin took grear care of me and my bestfriend I havent felt this great about my nails in a long time thank u! We walked in at 715 and they close at 8 and asked would they still take us, cause I know some places stop taking customers an hr before they close, they gladly said yes! Tracy recommended colors for me that really fit me and Kevin made sure my best friend got the exact color she wanted for her nails! I highly recommend for everyone to come get pampered here!

This place is always professional and clean and they will do their best to squeeze you in even when they are limited in the amount of customers they can see. I always feel well treated and my pedicures last for a very long time. I didnt get a pedicure for many months during the quarantine but when they finally reopened I felt safe going there.

They cut my boos big toe! My girlfriend and I went here yesterday for my first-ever pedicure (her third or so). The man that did my girlfriend was inattentive, talking to his air pods nearly the whole time. He eventually disappeared without giving her any instructions on what to do next regarding drying. On top of that, the polish somehow slid to one side while we were eating at a restaurant near by. I think we were allowed to leave before it was dry. The woman that did me was very nice.

The technician who did the nails— he was mean, rude, and downright unpleasant. Left upset and didn’t even get my nails the way I wanted. Called afterwards and talked to the manager who proceeded to say he was behind me the whole time (which wasn’t accurate and furthermore, according to his account if he was behind me the whole time, then he admits to being a terrible manager then for not stepping in at any point during this fiasco).Then the manager decides to further insult me by saying “Why crying? She is adult.”Will not be going back ever again.

I came to this place for the first time today and it will be my last. I paid over $100 and my nails are so sloppy. The nail tech never spoke to me until i started to speak about my nails being done poorly. He rushed my nails while other women had techs who took their time. I wish i could remember his name. I asked for green nails yet i have white nail polish crust all around my nails including the green all over my skin. He lefted orange from my prior manicure under the new application when i had already taken the nails off which tells you he had no care when doing my nails. To the owner you should make sure all customers receive a quality service since all money is green in the end.

Tom does my acrylic nails perfectly every time. I’ve been going here for about a year now and I don’t want to go anywhere else. He takes his time and makes sure I leave with a bomb set, all nails are even and neat love going here and recommend to my friends

Disappointed with the SNS powder manicure, it was suppose to be stronger than the gel and it chipped after one week. This manicure was more expensive then the other services and definitely not worth it.

I was skeptical to try this salon out due to some of the reviews posted, but I decided to anyway and I am happily surprised! Upon walking in, the overall environment was pleasant and clean, and I was immediately greeted by multiple of the employees. The man doing my nails pushed me to go for dip instead of gel, which I didn’t want to at first because I’ve always gotten gel. I am thankful that he did because he did a wonderful job! My nails are healing after years of acrylics and when I informed them I wanted to leave them naturally with no tips, he didn’t push. I had no issues with my nails, but the woman next to me was getting a few of her nails fixed and they took every suggestion she offered with no issue. Seems they can get very busy, so I would make an appointment, but it seems most of the people that came in did not and they were very quick to accommodate. There were 3 children walking around that were obviously related to one of the employees, but they were cute and didn’t bother anyone that didn’t want to be, so it wasn’t an issue for me! Will be returning.

It’s a great place to have a beautiful, last-longing, quality mani or/and pedi. They are great in all different kinds: regular, gel, deep powder. I usually have an appointment even with Yen or Nancy and they are both top! A few times I had a last minute need I had other people made my nails and they were good as well. One more detail which also makes a big difference for me is the fact they always have nice relaxing music, and TV is never on 👏👍🏻Before ending in Envy II nails I had tried a few other places, but this is by far the best.Not only they do a great job, they are also friendly, social and fun.

Very satisfied! Got a full set done and I couldn’t be happier with it!Update; went back for two fills with gel and still very happy with how much time they take to make your nails perfect and ask multiple times throughout the services if you are happy with how they look. They ask how thin/thick you want them, triple check the lengths of each nail and make sure everything is even, as they should. And it’s SUPER clean and sanitary. I’ve been to many salons that just want you in and out so they can get another client in the chair, but here, they actually take pride in their work I plan on continuing to come back for my sets and pedicures.

I have been a customer of this salon for a few years now. I keep coming back due to their dedication to keeping their salon clean and their services impeccable. I am never disappointed when I leave. The new owners Tom and yen go above and beyond for their customers in order to make sure everyone leaves a happy customer. I have recommended this salon to my closets friends, have brought family members with me and come back myself at least twice a month. Definitely the place to go when you simply want to treat yourself or find a place you will keep coming back to!

Great service. My husband and I walked in and they were able to accomodate us within minutes even without an appointment. We were expecting to wait but they took us right away. We both enjoyed our pedicures and relaxed.

I love this salon. The employees are always extremely friendly, they greet everyone that walks in the door with a smile and a hello. Yen is a perfectionist and she always does a great job! I never feel pressured to upgrade what Im getting and its the best pedicure Ive ever had. I get one almost every time I go. They massage your feet, legs, they use a salt scrub, hot towels, they above and beyond. I also love when they massage my hands and use hot towels on them. Its very relaxing and its always a job well done. I highly suggest this salon, they are friendly, the parking is good despite being located in busy Shadyside (they have a lot), and I always leave happy.

I’ve been trying out nail places for the past 8 months. I’ve yet to find anyone. I drive from cranberry they will do any design. Fixed parts of my nails no other salon has...EDIT: it’s been a week since I posted my review.. and my acrylic snapped right off my real nail.. it’s so thin it’s insane... so my 5 star goes to a 2... I can’t stand getting my nails done then a week later they break... especially when I don’t do anything. My real nail is thicker than the acrylic was!!

I rarely write reviews unless I have a really awesome or really terrible experience. So, here we are. I have tried and tried again to give this place a chance, mainly because it is close to where I live, and I am always disappointed. Yesterday was the final straw where I decided Im never coming back. The nail technician I worked with was incredibly rude. She stopped in the middle of my appointment multiple times to scratch off lottery tickets with her boyfriend? She scolded me like a three-year-old when I tapped my phone to check the time after she painted my nails. I then was moved to the nail-drying station (not sure why she didnt let me go there to begin with), where I unknowingly sat in an available chair that the bottom had fallen out of and almost fell through. She did not thank me or extend any kind of courtesy during or after the appointment, even when I tipped her (which I regret). Id rather drive an hour away to a different salon than ever come back here. I almost gave this place 2 stars because my nails look okay, but even they are sub-par, so thats being generous. Get the super premium deluxe pedicure it’s an amazing experience. They soak your feet and clean everything awesome and you leave with feet feeling super fresh and healthy.

Very expensive, not the best experience. The women who painted my nails was not friendly at all!! They did a good job repairing my nails which they charged me extra for, I was ok with that....BUT they definitely still charge entirely to much. Why are they charging $30 for a regular fill in with no gel? Most likely wont be going back.

Very patchy experience. I have been here multiple times. The last three times I got a dip manicure. Lasted three weeks the first two times and I was very happy. The third time two of my nails cracked after only five days. I went back and they told me they were too busy to fix them that day and could I please come another day. I came the next day and my nails were fixed but the person who fixed them simply picked a similar color and it does not match at all. I am usually not one to complain but now two more of my nails have cracked and it has been less then a week. For a dip manicure that cost me 45.00 and a 10.00 tip I am somewhat disappointed. However, the first two times I was very happy. Not sure where to go because this salon is very convenient and the owners are nice. Just was not happy with the treatment when something went wrong. I really wanted to continue to like this salon : ( .

I had a **$60 gift card** that I cleanly cut in half so it would fit in my wallet-all of the information was very much readable. The salon wouldn’t honor it because I had cut in half. Guess I shouldn’t have done that, but what a terrible experience. The gift card number, amount, name, etc, was all very clear. Bad customer experience - my normal salon would have honored it in a heartbeat. Would not recommend, will not return.

Got my nails done within 2 days of having them 3 nails fell off. Very thin nails and I paid 75 for a full set wasn’t worth it

I normally dont make many reviews, but I felt the need to share this. I received a full set of acrylic nails and I could not have been more pleased. My service was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing even with a high volume of customers. I was seen very quickly because I made an appointment. Like any other salon, the weekends are the busiest day so I recommend making an appointment days before to be seen quicker. As for my nails, this is the best set I have had it Pittsburgh and I will definitely be returning.

My manicure experience was very painful and I didnt even get the color that I requested. Also an unsanitary salon.The original color I asked for didnt match the one that the nail tech painted my nails with, and when I asked to try it out before he used it, he dismissed my inquiry. I tried to look for a different color and he rushed me to decide. While removing my cuticles, he was very aggressive and made 4 nail beds bloody. Nail filing was also quite painful. My nails look a bit uneven and the gel is quite thick.The nail salon is poorly ventilated and the bathroom didnt even have hand soap or paper towels. My nail tech had really dirty nails too. It seemed very unsanitary.Overall, it was a very stressful and disappointing experience.

It was my first time here, as I just moved to the area. I made an appointment and was seen right away. Dave was my nail artist and he was meticulous and very professional. The ambiance and music was relaxing, it was extremely clean, and I was only in there for under an hour for a full set. Yes, they may be a little expensive, but rightly so! Im definitely going back. Ive been to many different salons, but I was truly impressed with his work.

I’m not one to complain and that’s why they can have three stars. My nails were nice. However, the experience was iffy. I called ahead to ask for appointments to be at the same time but they started them at different times and we were separated shortly after. I felt very rushed to pay and for wanting to come out and relax with my girlfriend it ruined my time. I also felt very judged because when I called ahead I also wanted to see if it was BYOB and they said yes. We had three people question us and make us feel like we were going to leave drunk after splitting a small and I mean very small bottle of moscato. All in all it was okay. Tipped 18% still but I’ll go elsewhere from now on.

The nail technician spoke English but would not engage in general conversation. That was ok, I asked several questions several questions. It became awkward when the tech next to him ( Vincent whom was doing my daughters nails) laughed and said to him she is asking you for your name. When he shaped my nails he made the fingers on my left hand oval after I requested square. When I brought it to his attention he seemed oblivious and suggested acrylic to fix it. I was irate, he finished and laid a cold towel across my hands. I paid $205 for the services my daughter and I received. I tipped Vincent separately who also suggested acrylic to fix them. Its a nice place, the wine was delicious, I didnt have an additional hour to sit to get them fixed. Ill never go back.

I have teeny tiny nails for a grown adult, and I’ve finally found “my person.” Yen is meticulous and takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect. She never rushes. I usually make appointments ahead of time to ensure she is available bc I only go to her!! Great color selection as well.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I’ve never had anyone do my nails who was so aggressive, rude, and rushing the entire time I was so afraid I was going to get hurt by the UNSANITARY tools that were used during my whole experience. I was hurt twice and not even apologized to and forcefully grabbed to continue. The customer service was horrible and I asked for a shape of a nail that I did not get. I will never be coming back to this place. So disappointed and disgusted. Never coming back.

Yen and the entire staff are wonderful and do such a fabulous job. It has been the only nail salon I’ve found in Pittsburgh to take their time to do a dip/sns manicure properly! Yen would never let a customer leave unless they were 100% satisfied and I always am. Thank you for all you do!

Good service for my first time. They explained everything before doing my pedicure. They do things alot different than most nail salons. Which is great give them a try.

Spent $100 to get a dip manicure and gel pedicure. The next day I could tell my white nails were turning slightly yellow. A week after getting them done my nails are completely yellow and they look horrible. Had a white dip manicure from another salon that lasted 3 weeks without even a hint of yellow. I will not be returning to this salon.
