I’ve been looking for a new salon to get my pedicure done. I initially went in and showed the staff a picture of how I wanted my French tip, the pedicurist said he’d be able to do it. After showing him the pictures 3 times, my pedicure was extremely bulky he was extremely rude about it. The owner offered to have someone else do it, I came back in to have someone else do my pedicure, showing her the same exact picture of the shade of pink I wanted. She was nice however didn’t do my pedicure the right way either. It’s extremely frustrating to have a customers time wasted knowing that their request can’t be fulfilled. The strokes weren’t clean at all & after awhile it’s frustrating to keep explaining the same thing. I was very excited to try out this salon however I would not recommend for pedicures.Below you’ll see the inspo picture of how I wanted my feet done. Then you’ll see the work done by 2 different pedicurist.

Today, I came in later in the evening to get a gel manicure, pedi, and eyebrows. Please note, this is my “go to” nail salon I use all the time. When I approached the receptionist (Monica) she was multitasking by doing her nails behind the desk with the UV light, phone, and talking to customers. She advised it would be approximately 30 minutes so I left and came back. When I returned 3 employees were outside and failed to acknowledge me. I sat down, after 20 mini minutes went outside to ask the wait time. Rudely, I was told when they finish, pointing to the 3 patrons in the pedicure chairs. I asked if any of them (employees outside and sitting on the window pane) could help me, Monica stated one was waiting for an appointment and the other is just a manager. I wasn’t going in for just a small service, my tab which it usually is costs about $135 plus a 25-35% tip. This was unacceptable on all levels, I will never be back and will advise my friends in Victoria Park about this plus include in neighborhood local favorites.. Sadly, we all use this place and I won’t be back. Lastly, the mask mandate on your door should be utilized by your team.

Go somewhere else!If I could give them 0 star, I would.I specifically asked for an experienced nail tech and this is what they did.These nails are 1 week old and look like it’s been 1 month. The dip lifted near the cuticles!Called and asked for a refund and they denied it.Never going back

.I came in for the first time June 3 before my flight. I needed a simple full in and pedicure. Once finished I went to pay and the nail artist stood near me. I assume she wanted to tip so I ask the cashier to charge me five extra dollars.When they told me they could not and I would have to have cash. I didn’t but chose to zelle her the tip despite honestly not being satisfied with my manicure. She then proceeded to tell me To send another five dollars so that I can tip the person that did my toes. I felt like she was being very overbearing so I refused.I didn’t make it to my Uber before the low quality gel polish they used started to chip away.Overall extremely disappointed with the staff attitude and quality of product. If you want a tip you should provide exemplary service not stand at the payment counter and badger your clients.Be wary before booking here.

Cathy did my nails and they look pretty nice but she was very aggressive with my fingers to the point they bled. My fingers were burning after she applied the acrylic. The guy that did my toes used gel polish after I told him three times that I did not want gel. GotStuck paying $110 for my toes and short ombré acrylic nails even though I did not ask for gel. I picked out the non gel nail polish and he still managed to use a gel polish on my toes. They’re so sneaky and should have offered a discount since I did not request gel instead of forcing me to pay for something I did not ask for.

Im new to the area and found Nail Lux as it was close to my hotel and had fairly good reviews. My fiance had a pedi and I both mani and pedi. Lam Chop (not sure how he spell his name) did both my mani and pedi. He was extremely detailed and attentive the entire time! My nails are natural and I am super picky about how they use the drill on them. Before I could tell him he was already assuring me! My natural nail shape is a rounded square but I asked him to make them more almond shaped. I am super pleased with the results of both services that I received yesterday! Ginger is the best nail technician Ive ever had. She took her time making sure she covered every detail on my cuticles and pink and white gel. Plus I broke a nail and another was breaking and assumed I had to cut my long nails and just get acrylics. She fixed one with an acrylic but saved the other two with a dip bc it was healthier for my nails. She made sure my nails looked the same and looked natural. She was super friendly and just had the nicest vibe EVER!

I went in a little over a week ago and asked for the first picture, and they told me they can’t do designs so i asked for the same thing without the flower and they said they could do that and maybe put a sticker. i picked a cherry sticker that apparently wouldn’t come of the paper. The nail tech bruised me a few times with the drill. My nails are already falling off and i see this deep gash underneath wouldn’t recommend. Also some of the nails weren’t covered with acrylic properly (sides were left uncovered) these were not worth the $65 i spent on them. I literally got gel so i could get out of there as fast as i could. They fell off before two weeks and started growing out.

Highly recommend! I brought my mother here who wanted pink ombre dip with sparkles. I’ve been talking up this place and Suna, her nail tech., did not disappoint! Suna helped her pick through various colors before giving her the match she loved. Suna thank you for such a beautiful job!

Stacy was wonderful when she did my pedicure. However, the man doing nails that day seemed disinterested with what he was doing. He was watching something on his phone which he paused and watched his phone several times during manicure. He doesnt listen when you tell him your preferences. He didnt shake up the polish and my nails have ripples, not a smooth finish at all and he only placed one top coat. Very disappointed in the manicure, he will never do my nails again. And thats IF I return!! Stacy was fantastic and kind. Will definitely 💘 to visit her again for my pedicure.

Went in for Mother’s Day to get wax and tint on my eyebrows. Took my own lashes to be out on. Big mistake. Never again! My eyelashes came off about half an hour after I got home. I told the tech to do my eyebrows thick, she did not and did them crooked 🤦‍♀️ Got charged $50 which I don’t mind when the service is worth it, in this case it was not! Went in the next day for a refund and only was given $20 not even half of a refund for a horrible job. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

I always have a GREAT experience at Nails Lux. The entire staff is kind and accommodating. I see Ty for my dip manicures and he is truly the best in town. Ive tried almost every salon in Fort Lauderdale and Nails Lux beats them all. The salon is VERY clean at all times. My nails always look perfect and Ive never been nicked or cut or anything by Ty or any of the other amazing techs. Suna did my pedicure most recently and she was meticulous yet efficient--the other techs are always the same as well. I appreciate the environment and their flexibility. They make every effort to ensure satisfaction. They have ENDLESS colors for both dip and gel polish as well. I also love that they dont nickel-and-dime you like some other salons do--every service is well-priced. Im moving in a few months but plan to make the biweekly trip out to Nails Lux even then. I was given a gift card with a value of $80, which I used about $45 on my first visit. I was given back the card and was told I had a remaining balance. When I returned for my second visit, I gave my gift card at checkout and they said they had no way of checking the remaining balance. I was told I should have kept the printed receipt if I wanted to collect the remaining balance. Please note that the gift card had a bar code and strip on it, which should be able to searched in their computer system. The manager approved a $20 value of the card but did not honor the total remaining balance. Very disappointing. A customer should be able to rely on the business to keep their records, and that was not the case.

I have just suffered an attempted hombre. After I received a pedicure from a woman who gave a flat no to warming up the water a little, as I requested, I knew things were not gonna go well. I was then directed to a nail booth where an older gentleman was waiting to do what I now know to be a God awful job on my nails. I chose a beautiful purple and asked for an hombre. It was a bad call, and not just because he apparently hasnt changed the acetone used for dipping since 1980. I havent even mentioned the disrespect shown to my cuticles, both fingers and toes were bleeding from the attention given. I dont know what I did to deserve this but I promise you I wont do it again. So spare yourself. If you go there after reading this, you deserve what you get.

I’ve been to this nail salon twice and both times were a great experience. Everyone is professional and nice. This first time Cathy did my pedicure and. Ombré nails she was so gentle took her time to make sure she did a good job. The second time Mike did my nails he was wonder and made sure they were the way I wanted. I also got my eyebrows tinted and waxed by Ginger. She did a awesome job.

I have been a customer on and off at Nails Lux for years. I’ve seen this place blossom so much over time! I used to walk here from my apt in Victoria park. Now years later, I live in poinsettia heights and I remain a loyal client here all because of my amazing nail tech, Ginger! Every two to three weeks I come for a fill and a pedicure. My shape is always perfect, I never get cut or injured, the pedicure is amazing! I love the chairs so much for a nice back massage. I’m a hairstylist and my nails never break even after working in water and with chemicals all day. I can’t say enough about how talented and sweet Ginger is. Her work and passion speaks for itself. Nails Lux keeps a safe and clean environment, great music, and there’s always fresh air blowing through when the weather is nice. Thank you to Ginger and the owners of nails Lux for keeping me a happy lady!

Everything about this place is amazing! I will never go anywhere else. Ty always makes time for me and does an amazing job. My nails never break and I go at least 3 weeks before a fill. I highly recommend the volcano pedicure, it’s a little bit more money but totally worth it! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Ive been going to Nail Lux for a couple of months now. I took my time to give a review because wanted to make sure the service and professionalism will be consistent. I am beyond impressed. Ginger is absolutely amazing, she takes her time and care for your nails, she puts love and dedication. I dont even have to tell her what I like anymore. Not sure why they’re overpriced. The lady didn’t clean my nails properly also made my finger nails bleed. They charged my 10 yr old $40 for a gel manicure 🙄 The nail polish is already coming apart a week later.

I was referred to Ginger at Nails Lux by a good friend of mine and wow, she was SO right!! Ginger is AMAZING!! She did a gel pedicure and took great care of my feet but her powder dip manicure was outstanding!! She knew within about 10 minutes exactly which colors I would like, and she was spot on!! LOVE her!! Thank you Ginger!! See you again in a few weeks!! :)

Went in to get eyebrow waxed and tinted. Not a good job at all, one side was thicker than the other. Took my own lashes and the cost was $50 which I don’t mind paying if it would have looked good. The eyebrow girl still stood right by my side while I paid waiting for her tip as if she had done a good job

I had a great experience with Cathy today ! She is one of the few nail artists in South Florida that offers the IBD Builder Gel/UV Gel nail service and she did a fantastic job with it, really pleased with the results ! Had a great pedicure with her as well. She was very accommodating and she is very kind. Can’t wait to go back !

The woman who did my pedicure, Joy, she was amazing even though I requested something she didn’t know how to do, she got someone to teach her how to do it. I love that. I will come back for Joy. I did have a problem with another lady(don’t know her name) she didn’t know how to do what I requested and she didn’t even attempt to try, she caught an attitude and told the receptionist she wanted someone else. After finding out that she was the only one who would’ve able to do my manicure, I was trying to find more simple styles then marble(which is what I requested). I was already upset with how rude she was but she was requesting a tip, I advised her I left a tip for Joy only, she tried to say that I split the tip with her and Joy which I didn’t. The owners did apologize when I was heading out talking to my sister about the situation, I accept that and I will come back because of that nice gesture.

Best pedicure I ever had at this salon. Ginger did a thorough job and was friendly....no complaints! I’ll be making another appointment for services with Ginger 🙂🙂🙂

I’ve been going to Nail Lux for the past six months and I get my nails done with Suna. I usually do dip or gel with a pedicure and I love my nails every time. Recently I’ve been trying out new designs and they’re all so cute I highly recommend Nail Lux to all of my friends.

I came here about a month i got a pedicure and full set, pedicure was done nice. tony did my full set i felt that he rushed my nails and had four of my fingers bleeding when i left, he also wayyy to aggressive when doing nails. i will do no recommened this place and will never go back. also they are overpriced and the front desk girl is very annoying

Love to come to this salon. They offer two week gurantee on gel but my nails always last more than 2 weeks. Very clean, friendly and nice people.

Really great service. PK did an awesome job with my nails. She paid super close attention to them and they came out perfect! They have plexiglass between you and the nail technician, everyone was wearing masks, and they have you wash your hands right when you get inside. Definitely will be back!

Unwelcoming receptionist she is so uninterested like what is she there for if not to greet clients? I had a good polish change on my toes by an older lady, a male do my nails he rushed my service and within a week they were chipping and breaking the polish so thick and nails horribly shaped. I would like to recommend a better system of making guests feel appreciated, I left disappointed in my first experience . It’s not worth the $$$ if the nails do not last beyond a week!

The overall service is nice it’s just that they use old products to make you come back within a week. My gel polish lifted up like a sticker after a week of wearing it. I do not work or wash dishes so I should not have this issue. When asked to correct the issue I was told they only guarantee on dip powder not gel polish. If someone pays over $50 for overlay with gel polish there should be a guarantee because there’s no way it should be shipping this early.

Took a color, hot pink For my nails and toes - ask for gel manicure and regular pedicure - result : hot fuchsia on my nails and hot pink on my toes - Technician told me should have told me that you wanted same color - I gave her the color that i wanted - I paid $ 72.00 including tip -I will never go again, not the first time i am not happy - I say hey I am gonna encourage small business into my area - NEVER AGAIN they think that money grows on Palm Trees !VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I didn’t care for the woman who did my feet. She seemed irritated about me trying to find the color I was looking for and cut my nails unevenly. I forgot her name. If you go here make an appointment with Nuza. (I believe her name was) she’s honestly the best nail tech I’ve ever had. She made sure I was 110% satisfied with my nail shape, color etc. I will come back and make an appointment with her. My date of service was 10/5

I went a few days ago to get a fill and jennifer did my nails. She is super sweet and professional. Today I went back in to get a mail fixed that had broken. Mike did my nails. He was extremely rude and I even asked why he was being so mean to me. He was beyond unprofessional to the point I walked out.

The receptionist is rude and doesn’t know the service they offer. I made nail appointment. When I walk in no one even bother to address me. I was offered a pedicure which o didn’t make an appointment for. When I said that I didn’t need a pedicure I was rudely told “ you got to wait”. I walked out.

John came to this country to make beautiful nails! He is AMAZING. he did a dip technique and gave me perfect chrome nails.the method is very hard and time consuming and Id gotten it several times by less experienced people,he did it in half the time and with a smile! He has a gift.

I’ve been a customer for a while now and won’t go anywhere else. First... the appointment time is always honored.... really well run. Everyone is friendly, the shop is always clean, and the service is first rate. And... I always get compliments on my nails. All the stars!

My nails last 3-4 weeks and look absolutely perfect between visits. The salon is clean, staff is super friendly, and prices are very good for the quality service you get. Making an appointment was a tad difficult this time, but thankfully I was time-rich today. Got a powder dip and they were square and sharp enough to make a balloon pop which I love! Love how you can get a complimentary drink here. ATM in site is super convenient / not sketch.

For the first time ever my nails don’t chip or break when I get a gel manicure done. The techs in there are all great! Jenny does the best manicures in the county! Also the salon doesn’t smell of chemicals like other places. Since I found this place I will never go anywhere else.

Customer service is nonexistent! I have been a customer here for 2 years but after todays experience I will never go back!! The staff members are far from accommodating, if you have a medical condition GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Honestly I hate to rate so low I’ve been there twice now first time was fantastic! Second time going in the person who did my nails wasn’t bad unfortunately my gel full set lifted in 3 days.....I called to see what I could do to get them fixed and the lady was basically saying that I wasn’t signed in that day even though I made an appointment for 6:15 I came a bit early and I was fine with waiting just disappointed that I had a hard time with the person on the phone instead of being understanding and apologeticIt was more of she didn’t care because she couldn’t see me in the system that I was signed in .... I tip good every time I’m not a mean person just surprised they lifted in 3 days tempted to get them redone elsewhere.

Nails Lux is the best nail salon in Fort Lauderdale!! Everyone there is nice and friendly, they do an amazing job and also offer a 2 week guarantee!! I get the nail dip and it always lasts me 2-3 weeks which is amazing because I work with animals and in and out of the water every day. Highly recommend.

I came here about a month ago to have a pedicure done, so i decided to come back to get my nails done...I struggle with biting my nails and finally grew them out enough to have something done to them, Suna was my nail technician and I couldn’t have had anyone better!! I loved her. Suna was so welcoming, nice, funny, and she did my nails so good. I can’t stop looking at my nails, they are so pretty!!! She’s a perfectionist. I was nervous having such short nails but she made me feel comfortable and it was a great experience. I will definitely be back.

Go to Sue! She did exactly what I asked and understands exactly what you want. Perfect shape, paint job, and thickness. This is my new go to place, I definitely won’t go anywhere else from now on.
