I had my first appointment at Beauty Bungalow yesterday with Victoria. I can not say enough about how great an experience it was. Not only do my nails look amazing but the atmosphere was wonderful. It felt like sitting at a friends house and chatting rather than a stuffy salon. Great work ladies!

Zoe takes care of my eyelashes and brows! She does an excellent job and is very knowledgeable! The atmosphere is very laid back yet professional! Highly recommended!

I see Toni and shes the best. The other girls are super friendly and do good work too. Ive even taken my 6 year old & they made her the cutest Christmas nails. Its in the cutest little house on the hill so the name fits so well. Paid parking/ metered lot right across the street is great!

Extremely immature and unprofessional. Only cares about money, not about customer relationships and retention.Missed ONE appt due to an emergency after being a loyal and VERY frequent (every 10-14 day) customer for well over 2 years and expressed my disappointment with the cancellation policy. The solution … my future appts have been canceled and I’ve been discontinued as a client!To discontinue me as a client after ALL my business and several referrals to the salon is not only very hurtful but extremely unprofessional. Apparently the relationship was truly about money, and Im beyond disheartened.

Always my favorite nail place. My nails always look greasy and last. The girls are so nice and make it an enjoyable experience

I love the BB ladies! Theyre super down-to-earth and generally fun to be around. Emalie has been absolutely killing it with my claws, and always brings great conversion to the table. Go see these talented ladies!

Love, love, love Beauty Bungalow! There arent a ton of options for places that do cute nail art in Pittsburgh. This one does not disappoint. I can show pictures, ideas from pinterest, or just say i have no idea what I want and I always leave happy! Im also really rough on my nails and constantly beating up my acrylic but its always back to perfect when I leave here. Cassie is the best :)

The best nail salon in Pittsburgh. You can tell the owner really cares about her customers. I always seeing her giving pointers to the other nail artists there. She wants everyone who visits to be happy. Nails last me about 3 weeks and never chip either.

I started going to BB about a year and half ago. The minute I walked in the ladies were so kind! It is a relaxed & welcoming atmosphere! Emalie used polygel on my nails until they were strong enough to just do gel manicures. The appointments are easy to book!

The owner of this business doesn’t seem to manage things safely during the pandemic. I tried to cancel my appointment same day due to being ill, and she told me that I would still be charged 50% of my service due to their cancelation policy. I had only made the appointment the night prior which was already within 24 hours and while I had, of course, read the cancellation policy (as any person with clear vision would have done) I didn’t want to come to the salon while ill (especially during covid). Since I’d be charged over $50 due to the cancellation policy, the owner told me that I would have to keep the appointment in order not to lose money and promptly hung up on me. She later called back and said the associate who was going to perform service said it was fine to not come, and again promptly hung up on me. Not a great customer experience nor a safe way to run the business during the pandemic. I will not reschedule the service and would not recommend to others due to unprofessional behavior and unsafe environment.

I never had long nails until Stacie started doing my gel manicures. My nails grew so much and they stay strong and don’t chip! Stacie is so friendly and talks to you while doing your nails and the atmosphere of the salon is cute and calming! I always look forward to getting my nails done every three weeks now.

Love this cute little joint! Clean, adorable, nails on point. Absolutely adore Toni. Can’t recommend her enough. This place is great for that personalized feeling. Not just a customer in another salon.

Trust me when I say, I have never had my gel manicure last me longer than a week and a half, BUT not with Stacey, she is amazing! My nails are longer and stronger than ever! Such a cozy spot and well worth going to! I highly recommend booking an appointment!

Ive been going to Cassie for my manicures for a few months now. She always does an amazing job with my nails! Im fairly indecisive and not very creative, but she always comes up with ideas and nails it.I also work as a veterinary technician, so Im constantly washing my hands and rough on my nails. However, my extra strength gel manicure lasts 4 weeks and could probably last longer.I cannot recommend Beauty Bungalo enough!

Cassie did a x gel mani on me, and I couldn’t be happier! My nails look great. She took her time to make sure my nails looked perfect. I can’t wait to go back!!

I have been getting my nails done at Beauty bungalow since it’s grand opening and I’ve never had a better experience at any salon in the greater Pittsburgh area (I’ve tried them all!) my natural nails have never been stronger. I am generally tough on my nails, and my manicures NEVER chip or peel until my next appt at the bungalow. The salon is clean, airy and bright. Stacie and her staff are the sweetest most accommodating group of girls! I recommend BB Pgh to all of my friends and family. I’m so happy to have FINALLY found my go-to place for all beauty needs!

I really enjoyed my physical time in the studio and the first day of nails after I got them done...I really wanted to love it, but there are some flaws to the product itself.A little hard to notice the salon off of the street, but once you see it, you’ll never forget it’s there. There are a decent amount of steps to get up to the door from the street (nothing unbareable...but this is helpful for people to know). Once you enter the salon, it is very light, airy and crisp. A lot of natural lighting and neutral color palettes.The girls are great! Toni and Stephanie were both super nice and made great conversation. Toni was my stylist for the day. I will also add that they were able to accommodate me day of which is really nice because I never know how my schedule is going to open up.On to the nails...during the service, Toni was very diligent in making sure she was thorough and meticulous in prepping the nail. My cuticles still look really nice. Now the paint...I got gel nails with all the nail art and an extra layer of strengthening gel...pulling inspiration from two previous Instagram posts, Toni was able to accommodate my indecisiveness and just run with it! For that, I am super grateful! She took her time and made sure my nails were perfect...and they were! I was OBSESSED with my nails and for the next 24 hours I found every excuse to use my hands and make sure people noticed them and when they asked, if course I referred them to BB. After the first 24 hours, the honeymoon stage if you will, I started to notice discoloration in one of the nails...I tried multiple different ways to wipe it clean and nothing...there was no protective barrier on these specific nails. Come Sunday (I got my nails done Friday afternoon) I had a chip in one of my nails...not the polish, the actual nail. I thought this was strange as I rarely chip a nail like this but thought, okay...benefit of the doubt. Come Tuesday and here I am 5 days later and the polish is chipping. I have had regular (non-gel) manicures last longer. Now 5 days in to my manicure - the one I was showing off to everyone - I am now hiding because of discoloration and chipping. I’m very disappointed in the way this manicure is “aging”. I am not sure if I will be back to Beauty Bungelow...I would like to because the salon and people are nice. However, for the cost (which isn’t unreasonable if the manicure would last) I’m not sure it’s worth it.4 stars for the atmosphere5 stars for customer service1.5 - 2 stars for the manicure3 stars for the overall experience

They have bathroom sinks on the floor to do your pedicure and a size 9.5 barely fits and the water turned cold very quickly. The cost is too high for the below average environment.

Great place, cozy and friendly. Love my nails!
