This place is conveniently located in ross park mall. I came in to have an acrylic refill. Everyone here was very nice. They offer an extremely large variety of nail polish colors. 2 weeks later and my nails still look beautiful. I didnt have to wait long and am very happy with the results. I definitely will be returning here again

I wouldn’t even give them a single star, but I have to in order to write this review. My friend and I went to get manicures (she got gel and I got regular polish), she had dip on previously and had to sit with her nails in acetone for 30+ minutes. My nails were dried twice and completely smudged and marked up for hours after. I had asked for a refund or something of the sort (I had them fixed once already) and they responded with absolute rudeness. I called the following day and they responded with the same rudeness and unprofessionalism that they had the previous day. I will NEVER return to that establishment. The worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life. So bad that I’m willing to write a review about it since I’ve never given a poor review on something. Do not go there!

I only had good experiences at California Nails.I keep looking on line and see if they are open. I cant wait to go back and use their services again.Every one of the employees and owners are very professional.Language is not a barrier because they work with their hands

I was having trouble understanding them and the girl that did them was very rude and didnt want to be there. When I asked for a marbled accent they gave me something totally different even though I showed them a picture as they did it. It looks cool which is why I gave them two stars but it doesnt even match what is on my other index finger. It was also done extremely sloppy and theyre very uneven. The paint doesnt even cover my whole nail. Neither does the acrylic nail The process hurt a lot too and the person seemed to care more about getting them over with than the quality of the job and experience

Not sure why all the bad reviews are out there. Every time I go to this salon they do a great job. Christine is great and has a welcome sense of humor (not easy to find these days)! People need to get a grip and realize the world doesnt revolve around them... sometimes you have to wait 10 minutes or so because its a busy salon for a reason! They offer very good customer service, which isnt easy these days when everyone is so self important that they feel they have the right to treat people however they want because they pay for it....we ALL pay for what we want..thats life!

I never leave a bad review but this salon is definitely a one star, horrible customer service and highly unprofessional. My nails are badly shaped, I have cuts all over my fingers, and the dip is lumpy. The lady cared more about getting them done than the job she was doing. I paid full price for nails I don’t enjoy I will never be back.

I just got my feet done and my daughters nail who is 11 mind you and I asked three times how much a pedicure was with gel polish. The gentleman said $33 and I told them regular acrylic nails for my daughter which the sign says $30 and up. After we finished they told me $100. Last I checked $33 plus $30 was $63. Even with the gems she got it shouldn’t be $20 up charge.... just kind of ridiculous in my opinion.

Theres so much to say about this place. Unprofessional in every way. Last visit an employee started doing her own feet in the pedi chair. While myself and 2 other ladies got nail services. And didnt even clean the foot spa out! Always inappropriate conversation going on between employees, loud laughing and just all around rude. They have horrible attitudes! I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Customers should feel welcome and always respected. If not... Close the doors your in the wrong business!

I am a regular here and I am shocked at some of the experiences posted about this salon. Christine (Owner) takes care of all my services there and Ive never been disappointed. I came to Christine after a horrible experience at another salon 3 years ago. I found her and never looked back. I am an extremely picky client and not always the easiest to please, so if Im giving a positive review you can take it to the bank! I always get complemented on my nails and my eyebrow so they must being doing something right. This salon provides a calm, serene atmosphere that mature and professional women appreciate. Very relaxing and peaceful after a long day---I really don’t know what some of these girls are talking about.

Love this salon! Convenient, Professional, Fast, Courteous!!! They keep up on all the latest trends and nail technology--- and go above and beyond to ensure the customer is pleased. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks Christine!

I got a French pedicure with a pink finish and it looks awful. The pink polish was somehow chunky and left my nails completely jagged and the nail technician got it all over the white polish, which she didn’t smooth into straight lines like a French style has. She also got the white polish all over my toes because she was in a rush to finish me to get her scheduled appointment started. Worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten and definitely not worth the $40 I was charged.

Went in for a Dip polish. The nail tech did not remove all of the previous dip polish and filed too close to my cuticles causing cuts. She ran out of the step 4 of the polish system and used clear nail polish instead. She also turned a mini fan on for my nails to dry. My nails are uneven...a pure shote job! Don’t waste your time nor money on their Dip services!

This place is not clean.. I stopped by just to get a pedicure and my toe has been severely infected and bright red and purple for almost 2 1/2 weeks!!!! Pedicure was nice and relaxing but definitely not worth 28$ and an infected toe.

I scheduled an appointment for my 10 year old daughter to get her nails done for her birthday. On the day of the appointment there was an accident on 279, I called and spoke to an associate an informed her well would be late and her response was, Take your time . Upon arrival 3 staff walked past us without acknowledging us and after 10 minutes of waiting I asked when my daughter would be waited and associate said, Werent you late? I explained again what happened and asked if she was the person I spoke with? Her response was in a rude tone, I dont know What should have happened was, when we walked in was, Maam someone will be with you soon. We shouldve been treated with respect and dignity because its a place of business and I wouldve been a paying customer. I can assure I will only patronize a business that treats me and my child with great respect.

Hate to leave such a low review, but this was by far the worst experience I have had getting my nails done, ever. My dip is lumpy, uneven, and the edges look awful. I kindly ask the tech to fix what she could, which ultimately led to them looking worse. So disappointed and was still charged full price. Will never be back.

I got my nails done tonight (I was a walk in) and I paid for a full set. I go to this place every once in a while if my normal person isn’t available. However, i asked for long nails they gave me short nails. My artist didn’t measure the nails first she just started to glue nails on. I literally was in and out because of how quick and sloppy she did my nails. Then the lady (idk her name) was rude and did a horrible paint job. Personally I wouldn’t go back but maybe she was having a bad day idk. Worst $50 I spent.

My friends and I went to get our nails dip and we live an hour away. They took about 3 hours to get them done and when they finished my nails were lumpy, uneven, and I had cuts on my fingers. My friend did not even get hers finished and they started cracking the next day. By the time we were done we only had about an hour to shop. I do not not recommend ever going there.

Prices have inflated since Ive last visited. Its been about a year. $27 for a gel polish on fingers seems steep. The woman who did my pedicure was very rough. I doubt my polish will make it through the week. It was $60 for a regular pedi and gel polish just seems ridiculous.

Didn’t use enough glue, lasted only a week and fell off 😂 unacceptable .

I got a pedicure at California nails and the woman who did my service was the most unpleasant person I have ever had do my nails. She didnt smile, she didnt check in on how I was doing and she was visibly irritated when I requested warmer water (it was cold.) I do not recommend to anyone.

Ive gone here every two weeks for the last year and a half and im obsessed!! I constantly get compliments and Ive never once had an issue. Christine and An are the absolute best! I definitely recommend

Took my daughter here and they used a dremel tool. They either pushed too hard or used it too long and wore her entire nail off.

They didnt paint the whole nail. They also didnt do bottom coat, and they also had to do two coats. The nails chip really easy, too. Waste of 20$.

I enjoy my experience at California nails every time I come here. Christine does my nails exactly how I like them everytime ! I would suggest this shop to any who want good nails !

I have been to lots of nail spas all over the world and this is the one I continue to return to. It is clean and the folks here do a professional service. They accept walk in business, but use your heads folks.I have seen people roll in from the mall minutes before closing with I behaved children. The service they expect is laughable. It is the only time I have ever seen rudeness in the salon, and it was created by the potential client. I appreciate the people who work here and the skills they possess

I got a full acrylic set with gel polish and loved it so much! When he was first shaping my nails I wanted the shape to be a little more rounded and he was very nice and got them the shape I wanted!

I asked for a French manicure and she started to do a good job but the end product looks rushed and crappy. The girl also ripped apart my cuticles and made me bleed. I have scabs now and skin peeling.

Please do NOT spend your money at this establishment, they have NO customer service skills, nor are they professional.I wouldnt go back to this salon if it was the last on earth!They dont even deserve 1 star

Don’t waste your money I paid $65 for a fullset& in less than a week three broke. On top the Gel nail polish that I got was also peeling.

I have only been here 1 time but i will NEVER GO BACK it cost $12 for plain nail polish. I had a guy file my nails and they where uneven. He put the nail polish on and in 2 days they where already ruined and coming off. After this experience im sticking to Nails One down in shaler. There is cost $5 and last 1 to 2 weeks and they are alot cleaner there than this place.

Just plain awful . A balding man with glasses did a sloppy paint job and I asked him to reapply the toenail which looked bad, he got mad and took off all the paint he just applied and said, Im not doing your nailsThis place is out of line totallyIt should go out of business.Dont patronize them !

Worst manicure I have ever had. Save your $17 and do it yourself or go somewhere else. They were rude, missed complete parts of my nail, and left polish on the sides of my finger. If I wanted it to look like I did it myself I would have done it myself. Completely unprofessional.

I had a manicure and pedicure 10-days ago. The lady removed the gel polish with an electric file. My nails are so thin and damaged most of them bend back and are painful. I had to cut my nails short. They are so damaged now it will take months to totally grow out. I spent $85. And had to tolerate her arguing with a male employee there in Vietnamese. I am so upset. I will complain further to the main customer service and ross park mall

This place IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!! LISTEN PLEASE I owned a Salon for 18 years and I have never witnessed customer service or business practices this terrible.I walked in to get a fill on a Saturday after 7pm. The Tech removed my polish with a drill which kept burning my fingers. I asked can you remove my polish with nail remover she said NO THIS IS HOW I REMOVE POLISH. Really I said the drill is burning my nail beds and I cant stand the pain. Tech said oh I cant do you by this time she had half of the polish off one hand cut down. I said can someone else do me she said no. We cant service you, I guess since I wouldnt sit and let her burn each nail up she was teaching me a lesson.You do and get treated as I say and its Saturday night and no one else is open except Sassies. Well end result I was told to leave with half hand cut down the other hand with half polish . Totally frustrated I walked down to Sassies and was told before I signed in or opened my mouth. We cant help you!! I thought really oh California nails tech called down to Sassies. I walked in Jcpenny and they did have a nail tech who did not do acrylics but offered to remove the polish and cut the other hand down.I worked 65+ hours that week and had plans for dinner date at Eddie Merlot. Well dinner was fabulous but I end up with clear nails plus I will never patronize California nails ever.

This salon is dirty. I watched them barely wipe the pedicure spa off before another customer took their place. My daughters nails are uneven, incredibly thin, didnt take the old polish off completely. They were unprofessional and rude. Awful, awful, awful!!!

The owner was the worst ever....rude as soon as I walked in, trash talking the whole time...my nails were EMBARRASSING they were crooked mis-shapen, I asked for an ombre it looked like a mistake...I told her about it she acted like I was crazy....she said you like....they are different..DAMN RIGHT THEY ARE DIFFERENT each and every one of them...her other nail tech tried to fix it for me..I had to keep them on bc I was rushed or I would have had her take them off....DO NOT GO HERE....

I called to see how much it would be for them to paint my nails pink with a white tip and she said $30 dollars and I had asked why so much and she said she couldnt answer that and if I wanted I could call someone else! Very rude and I would NOT recommend this place what so ever!! Im so furious right now! Why wouldnt you know why it is so much! Complete morons😡

Horrible customers service....... Nail tech had a attitude was very unprofessional, rude and rough. Throwing the files and sighing continuously I did not even want to get them polished after that. The nail polishes was slipped on and clear coat left lumpy I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN !

The lady was mad that my friend and I left and came back and basically kicked us out and said she would call us and to leave our numbers made us stay at the mall for two hours and never called.

They did not shape the nails correctly or take the time to make sure each nail on the other hand was the same length. Spend $92 for a pedicure and gel full set. Not happy with either and never going back!!!
