Horrible service the lady turned my coffin nails into eagle hooks. After telling the lady 20 times or more to be a little gentle I decided to leave with my nails undone. I will never go back to this business and THEY DONT DO DESIGNS

My niece and I went here today trying a new place she’s 9 we each got a pedicure. She got the kids pedicure of course with a design. My pedicure was decent but the shellac polish was rushed and done horribly. I didn’t even complain. We went to pay and they told me it would be 25 for a child’s pedicure with a design when the website said different. They didn’t even scrub her dead skin, or give her a massage, they literally cut her toe nails put oil on them and washed them off. I could’ve got her an adult pedicure for that. The prices on the website are misleading I will never come back. The woman then told me I will take 3.00 off for you which still doesn’t compensate for price misleading on the website, which should’ve been 19.00. Terrible customer service.

If I could I would rate 0...it looks like my 10 yr old niece did my nails and I just paid $67 for my feet and nails after being at the shop 2 hrs..I would not recommend this shop to anyone

My friend have been raving about this salon for the longest time and Ive finally went. To my surprise this salon is actually nice. Inside is very enchanting and spacious. The nail techs working here are very friendly and polite. The nail tech working on me did a delightful job of removing the cuticles from my nails. Not once did I bleed when she was doing that process. When she was done with my manicure, my nails looked really divine! The best my nails have looked in a long time! Highly recommend coming here to get your nails done!

The nail designs are limited. They were not able to do white designs for my nails. They offer very limited designs. After going to the counter to pay for my pedicure and other services, I went back to my chair and slipped because the rollers on the chair was not secured causing it to roll from underneath me. I would never go back again.

First and last time visiting this nail salon. I got a simple manicure and they didn’t get it right. They rushed on me (about 4 minutes max) for my services. I was not pleased and was not going to pay. Another person came to fix the bad job and she too was rushing but did do a better job than the first. Definitely would NOT recommend to anyone for any service

I really Like my first time here the staff is way beyond my expectations! Silverlake is very hygienic. Sitting on the massage chairs are so comfy! Plus all the staff are all so sweet cant get any better than Silverlake. Highly recommend this place they do an amazing job!

I went in to get a pedicure and a full set soaked off and I wanted a shellac full set. My pedicure looks great. My nails however looked pretty bad. The polish didn’t lay flat (yes it did have glitter I understand that) and it was even with the thickness. The fake nails didn’t line up with my real nails at all. The “coffin” shape was completed uneven on all of my nails. So I decided I couldn’t keep these nails so I walked back in not even five minutes later and I wanted them fixed. The nail techs started arguing with me and didn’t understand what I wanted done. So I was in the process of soaking my nails off and I asked the manager if I would be able to get a refund and get response was “the nails techs make their money off of commission and we the owners take out 7 dollars to pay for the place and if we gave everyone a refund we wouldn’t be able to open our doors” I was in absolute shock. I have never been told I can’t get a refund. I spent my own money on something I didn’t even care for. I will never go here again.

It was terrible service, very unprofessional (especially with eyebrows).They rushed me and my sister out even though there were 2 hours till closing but didn’t rush the other customers, also they were very rough when handling our face while doing our eyebrows. I would not recommend.

My experience with this nail salon was so poor that I feel a responsibility to share and warn others. I went in with my very small daughter to get a manicure and pedicure. While the nail tech on my daughters hands was fine, the techs were rushing on my hands and feet, and got an attitude when I politely asked them to take their time with the foot callus scraper. I didnt make a big deal about it, but I was really dissatisfied with the poor service. At the end of the service the person on my feet just got up and walked away. They didnt thank me, or even inform me that my feet were finished. I waited a few minutes and then asked the owner if I could speak with her about my experience. I described the bad service experience to her, and what would come next would be disheartening to say the least. Instead of thanking me for supporting her business & sharing my concerns with her she proceeded to tell me that because her workers were very good at what they did, they did not care about being polite and that she was worried that if she said something to them they would quit. We calmly spoke for about 30 minutes after I informed her that I would be leaving a review online. During that conversation she shared with me that she doesnt read the online reviews, that techs at other places will be nice and polite but charge much more, and that white folks never complain but other people do. I told her that saying something like that is very offensive and that a lack of quality service should not be ignored. I shared with her that while I understand the hardships of finding good help, that can never be an excuse you are comfortable with giving to the very patrons who are the reason for your business. By the end of our conversation she apologized and asked me to come back, but the racial remarks alone would prevent me from ever patronizing this place again. If you are reading this review, please consider where you spend your hard earned money.

I really enjoyed my very first experiences with them today. This nail salon has a very relaxing atmosphere and clean environment. I love how they organized and designed their salon. It looked so beautiful. All the ladies here were very sweet and efficient on what they were doing. I hadAcrylic full set and i really loved the final result. My technician was really attentive and patient during the whole process. This nail salon deserved 5 stars for great services, cleanliness and reasonable price. Definitely come back for other services.

Very pleased with my nude pink coffin shape full set. This was the first time I had gone to this location. So I wasnt to sure at first but my boyfriend insisted we did it then and there (he knows Im picky) Inside was nice, decor was good too. The gentlemen who did my set was friendly, convo was short but nice.. I arrived a full hour before quitting time (which I hate to do because I dont like for them too feel like they need to rush) however he finished with 10 min too spare. My set came out beautiful! I didnt get to thank him tho because when he set my nails too dry at his station he got up and went too the back... never came back. Only reason this place doesnt get the 5 stars it deserves.

They recently started charging $40 for a new set and if you get long nails apparently they’re $50. The service was terrible and everybody was kind of rude to be honest. of course there are great people there, but I did not experience any of that today .

The staff members do their best to keep you satisfied and I think they are very professional. Clean environment and very talented employees. They spend a lot of time with you and pay attention to detail. They also give you such great quality at such a low price. Only bad thing is that this salon is really far from where I live.

Only nail place I will go to. Before Chin started doing my pedicures I had a few others & they were all wonderful, but once Chin did mine she had me coming back. When we move I will most likely make the 30 min drive to her. Only nail tech who takes her time & gives me an amazing massage!

HORRIBLE is all I can say. I had the dip done and 2 days later it was cracking and chipping. Ive had the dip done every 2 weeks for YEARS and was trying this place because its by my gym. When the lady was doing the dip I asked her why is she not doing the first step of the dip the white powder. She said the color I was getting didnt need it, all dip colors need the white. I went with it but knew she was wrong and now am so disappointment. Not even a week has passed and I am getting my nails done again at my regular place.

1st time- I got my nails dip the tech was super nice unfortunately the cashier lady who I assume is the owner was pushy and rude. I gave her the benefit of doubt and said ok maybe she having a bad day. Went back a second time... nail tech was nice but unfortunately due to the owners service I decided not to return. All fields where you have to deal with people, requires good customer service.

Pushy staff and bad productsIm very disappointed with this place. In the photos have pictures of the gell nails 8 days after I got them. They are cracked, chipping, and coming off. If you read the experience, youll know why Im exceptionally upset about this.The experienceI havent had my nails done in years so I went to Silverlake nail SPA with my best friend to get them done for graduation. When I went in I said I wanted to get a manicure, the lady suggested gell but I politely declined. She insisted that gell was better and that it would last two weeks, when I declined the third time she waved us to the paint selection and ignored us. We stood there waiting for a bit before my friend caved and said she would get gell, the woman then quickly shouted gell for two to the staff and ushered us to the chairs where they immediately began before we could change our minds. They sat us seperatly so I wasnt able to talk to to my friend and the woman doing my nails was silent and seemed annoyed with me. The process itself was tense, the massage advertised online was a quick swipe of lotion, then she waved my to the sink to rinse it off upon completion. As someone who worked in customer service until my last semester of college, I always leave a tip. But between the unsatisfying service and the fact that they charged more than TWICE the amount of a regular manicure to get gell (something they never mentioned to us even when they heard us talking about how it shouldnt be more than a few bucks extra while we considered getting gell), i was not as happy to leave the extra money as I usually am. The experience ruined the afternoon and left me in a sour mood.

Loved it great people and prices are awesome! Only 4 stars because of 2 things nothing major. He filed too far down on 2 nails while taking off my old acrylics and one of my tips is wavy but everything else is perfect!

I was in a hurry to get my nails done before my little sisters birthday, didnt have an appointment, but they still took me and had two ladies work on my nails at the same time. I was in and out of their in about 30 minutes, which was really great considering I got gel nails on my hands and my toes painted as well. Great service!

This was my first visit here and I will not be returning. I was cut, the water was cold, the paint job was sloppy, and the tech did not offer the quality of customer service I am accustomed to that is abundant at other salons in the area. OH and I forgot to mention, but was open mouth coughed on by a tech!!! Gross! In addition, I requested (More than once) to have my full set and pedicure completed at the same time due to a time restraint. Unfortunately the nail techs were too busy for me, but had plenty of time to offer this service to three others sitting in the bowl area with me! There are several high quality nail salons in the area that will continue to receive my loyal service. This one, however, simply did not perform. Disappointing start to my Sunday afternoon.

Ive been going to Silverlake since it opened and I love it. The staff is so friendly and they keep the place really clean. I love getting a pedicure there - definitely worth the money. Parking is really easy, too.

The place is nice and clean with calming music playing. The price is absolutely the best you can get for the service and I highly recommend this nail salon.

I got shellac nails and a pedi and I loved them at first....but after one day they got a yellowish hue to them and each day it got darker. A week and a half later they are disgusting Dark brown!!! My pedicure was brown too. Someone told me its from using cheap old products. I wont be returning here again

My friend Hong brought me here and i had a wonderful experience! I got the prettiest dusty pink gel color with a glitter nail accent on each hand+ a pedicure and callus treatment! It is so nice to get pampered every now and again this place was such a treat!

Of my nails was very careful and attentive. Not only that she did a perfect job but she also fixed the broken ones. Did not try to rush me out or skip any steps though the place was pretty busy at the time. Clean and organized. Reasonable price.

I got a classic pedicure, and it was $25. A bit pricey, but the decor was nice. Ive had better pedicures where the attendee pays more attention to my nails so thats why they dont get 4 or 5 stars.But I will say that its very clean and theyre friendly.

I’ve been going to this nail salon for YEARS. My mom, grandma, family friend, and even my dad have standing appointments every two weeks with the same techs. Most techs do a great job, but the ownership is inexplicable. They’re pushy and they rush the techs to move customers in and out (you also can’t tip on the card which I don’t like). Today was the day - I had put up with too much. Henry was my standing technician. I arrived at 8:51am. Soaked my feet waiting on Henry. At 9:30am I finally inquired as to where Henry was. It was whispered to me by another tech that he had quit. NO ONE, not even the owner, told me before hand knowing I am there every two weeks. I put on my shoes and walked out. My mom, grandma, family friend, and eventually my dad will find another place.

TOO EXPENSIVE......CAN GET THE SAME EXACT SERVICES UPSCALE ON WESTHEIMER FOR HALF THE $120 IT COST ME FOR A FULL SET AND PEDICURE. WAS QUOTED ONE PRICE AND GOT TO THE COUNTER THE PRICE WAS HIGHER.... WHEN YOU COMPLAIN THEY START GETTING ATTITUDES AND SPEAKING THEIR LANGUAGE. I THOUGHT I WAS SPENDING MY MONEY FOR SERVICES I WANTED???? I WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN.

I enjoy the atmosphere u go and u r treated great and its very relaxing. My nail tech is the BEST just ask for Henry and my pedicure tech Kellys is also the BEST I will far warn u its very hard to get into see Henry when I say AWESOME that he is. Not to mention the owners are very caring and want to make sure their customers are satisfied and that they ARE FIRST. Silverlake Spa and Nails is where it is. Just try it u wont regret it.

Honestly an amazing nail salon with amazing nail and customer services. Prices here are cheap, staff members here always know exactly what theyre doing, and they make their jobs look easy by making their customers nails look absolutely perfect!

I took my daughter here for both of us to get our nails and eyebrows done. Her technician seemed to be in a great hurry and rushed through putting a full set of powder nails on her. Then they forgot to do her eyebrows until I asked multiple times. My technician did not completely remove all the old powder from a previous set of nails. She also seemed to be in a hurry. I could understand if it was crowded but it was not as there were plenty of other technicians just standing around. The very next morning I looked at one of my nails and the tip had completely split already. My daughters nails are also not lasting the way they have done at previous salons. Bottom line I dont think we were dressed appropriately for the place as we were both wearing athletic style clothes having just come from school and work.

I normally have a good experience when I come here. Today is the very last time I will ever get any service here. I asked for a European Manicure and the tech did a piss poor job of something that resembled a manicure. At about half way she started rushing through as if I was keeping her from someone or something else. Mind you the shop was empty. Never again.

Went In to get my Normal Mani, Pedi, & full set which the nail tech Kim normally does. Unfortunately Kim was on vacation so they had 2 other techs to work on me. In the middle of shaping my nails one of them jumps up and says my appointment is here someone else has to finish you. Of all the techs that were sitting down hanging out why would she jump in to do my walk in? Why? Smh The nail tech working on my feet kept apologizing but I told the owner and her that I would pay for pedicure and go somewhere else. That was low on the scale of customer service and having multiple techs work on nails is a recipe for disaster. That’s it for them in my book.

Horrible experience and quality of service.The woman who greeted my friend and I was rude from beginning, think she was the owner. She pulled a tech from another client to do my nails, there must have been some sort of problem with her doing my nails judging by her face. All I asked for was shellac manicure. The tech was pissed off from that point on. She was very rough. My polish was very streaky and transparent. I had bubbles on every nail. I had a hair stuck to my pinky under the shellac. Half my nails werent painted to the tip, you can still see my real nail. I asked for another coat, which she did in 5sec, it didnt make any difference. Before I could asked for a 4th coat she finished slapped my hand in the air and said good and left for another client. I asked the tech working on my friend for another coat so she called back the woman. She said no you cant have it its too late and left again.... From plenty of experiences with shellac I know this could have been done.My nails looked like I did them at home by myself. But I probably would have done better and it wouldnt have set me back $28.We chose this place based on the picture provided. That was a mistake. Interior atmosphere also a let down. Its dirty and lots of things pulled everywhere.

Lady who did my nails didnt interact much less look at me. She was extremely rough with my hands and was extremely aggressive with filing my nails down. She started talking on the phone and then calculated the money she made for the day while in the middle if doing my nails. I was going to give them another chance but I went and got my nails removed and the lady I got this time was just as aggressive and she did a terrible job. I know removal isnt supposed to look great afterwards but they also arent supposed to slant because she felt the need to trim even after I said that wasnt necessary as they were my natural nails. With the removal I didnt expect to get offered a drink, but when I was getting them done, even a water wouldve been nice. All the other customers were treated great so was the fact that I wasnt decked out in designer clothes and young to blame?? I wouldnt pay to get my nails done if I didnt have the money and assumptions like that really suck. I will be finding another nail salon that may cost more but the treatment will be better.

The nails techs are good and very professional. My favorite one is Jess, she is very kind, nice and very professional. I never ask for any specific one because i dont make appointment. One thing I want everybody notice that THE OWNER- CHRISTINA IS SUPER RUDE AND A STEALER/ROBBER, SHE ALWAYS TOOK TIPS OF THE NAILS TECH. I often come back and check the nails techs that did for me the previous time and they said they did not get it. I asked my friends and neighbors who come to this place and they also told me the same stories. If you guys wanna come to this place, you have to hand the tip to the nails techs, dont give it to CHRISTINA.

When I walked in we waa greeted properly! I may have waited for 10mins before I received service on my nails. The lady that did my nails was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HORRIBLE!!! After she filed my nail down she did not let me wash my hands from all of the access shedings... she was not friendly at all... I asked her to take off one of the nails because I wanted a overlay and she did not I asked her twice and I still did not receive what I had asked for!!! She was rushing my service and I WILL NOT BE RETURNING BACK!!! I am not the one to complain but she did not and also she didnt show me where to dry nor did she assist me with it... just the worst ever
