Great place for haircut and beard trimming. Staff is very professional and it’s always a great experience. Having adult beverages and soda available while waiting is an awesome touch.
Billy is the owner and a real nice fellow. Gave me a haircut exactly what I asked for. Looks perfect! Will go again!
After having the worst luck at cheaper places hubby decided to bite the bullet and try paying a bit more. Totally worth it! He looked great, were supporting a local business and the staff was super friendly!
Great place. Saturday morning walked right in and sat down. Listened to the old guys talk and felt like I was transported back in time. Back when things were simple. Great customer service and friendly staff. I went in for a beard trim but I’ll be bringing my two young boys back for haircuts.
Love this place. Its like a seen from Steal Magnolias. The barbers and stylist are super sweet. They always do a fantastic job.
My first job 54 years ago .Billy griffin is a true Texas legend .you should feel honored to walk in his place.God Bless Texas God Bless the shop. DAN HILL . HILL COUNTRY BBQ .HEMPSTEAD TEXAS.
Great haircut at a great price. Oldest family owned business in Pearland.
Great haircut at reasonable price. At $10, it is a good price. I get a zero on sides and back with longer on top, and I like the haircut that I got. Nice old style barber shop.
The guy was very friendly and excellent price
Big Billy is an awesome barber and very friendly and Karen is a sweetheart. Love you guys!
Great haircuts
Excellent barber. Attentive to what I ask for, reasonably priced.
Solid small town barber shop. Quick and affordable. Nothin fancy. Perfect for a quick, quality cut.
First time here, really enjoyed the quickness of the haircut, love it. Will come back.If youre in a hurry and need a good haircut, come here, just be sure to read times theyre open.
First off, those of you complaining are probably the people who simply like to gripe. This business has not been one of, if not the longest running businesses in Pearland by chance. Your kid who you had such a horrific experience at a barber shop.... probably should hang 10 and move to California. As you should follow. This babrber shop not only shows excellent service... but also does a great job for the price. Thanks for all the great cuts... as I will be returning each and every time.-Ryan
Great business. Women or men can get fantastic service.
For as long as I can remember I have taken my son to Cool Cuts for his haircuts. Being a child with sensitivity to loud noises, it was always a struggle to get his hair cut because he would begin to scream, cry, and immediately want to be done at the first sound of a blow dryer or clippers. Just recently we figured out how to calm him down during haircuts which helped a bit so it went smoother. As soon as we figured out what worked, or place closed for business. Since cool cuts closed we have struggled with getting his hair done. Ms. Tiara was the absolute greatest but its hard to coordinate a time that works for everyone.I had gone so long without cutting my babys hair that I could not wait anymore nor could I afford a place specifically targeted towards children. I decided to bring him here because I had heard good things. As soon as I walked in I was hesitant but decided I should give this place a chance. I shouldnt have. The place was cluttered. The booster seat was sitting my child too high. Without it he sat too low. Fighting for so long to get my baby used to the sound of clippers and a dryer did not prepare me or him for the vacuum clippers. He immediately covered his ears but remained more or less calm. I specifically asked for a 1 on the sides, fade, and a cut on top. This is what hes always got. Then I realized the man that was cutting his hair did not wet it, never used scissors, only clippers, forgive me for saying, did not seem to have good hygiene himself by the looks of his hands. I was trapped in a nightmare. The worst part was I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted. A picture of my child with the haircut hes always got. He still didnt get it right. He was trusting the vacuum pulling on his hair to cut a straight line instead of using scissors like every other hairdresser Ive been to so each time my son moved even the slightest bit, he would cut too much and have to fix it. Not only that, he was getting visibly frustrated which in turn upset me. But there was no going back. I had to let this man finish butchering my childs hair. I stayed calm. There was no one in the building I saw but me, my son, and this man. Thankfully my sons hair grows back at an alarming rate. Im sure other people leave here happy and content but for me personally, it was the worst experience and I will not be going back. Id rather pay more to a true professional.
Small town barbershop, good place to get a haircut and chat.
