Why do I go to the .99 store to find EVERYTHING over a dollar! Customer service is gross and then I asked a girl for help and she doesnt even know whats going on in her own life! Im cool!!!

Went to buy food and felt uncomfortable because the staff were standing and staring rude as if I was there to steal, and when I went to ask her if there was something wrong she went and hid in the back to tell her friend. Then at checkout, her partner at checkout was staring at me in a threatening manner they had to pull her to the back. Disgusting! I cant even go buy food freely without being profiled or labeled the worst feeling when your spending your own money and they treat you like that

One of the better 99cent stores in the area. Well staffed, multiple cashiers, great location, ample parking.

Few homeless folks near store, but they dont bother you.

Monday nights are a better time to go to this location because of the amount of parking lot traffic for such a tiny parking lot, esp if you want to keep your car dent free. The store always has a well maintained quality about it and of course the prices are obviously reasonable. The only thing with 99cents stores are you receive 99cents worth of customer service,they walk around like customers dont exist and dont ask a cashier how theyre doing because youll get a mumble or grumble instead of a great,how are you?. Especially the polish looking one. Some are pretty rude unless they know you. Ill be back for sure because of the need to save a buck,but if you dont need cheap items,go elsewhere.

This location has two ways of entry, one rear and front of course. As far as parking there is plenty of parking. There is street parking near the front of the store and there is enough rear parking. Although you have to pay .25 cents for a shopping cart, youll get it back once you place the cart back from where you got it from(shopping carts are only located outside the rear entrance.) The actual store is pretty spacious. They have a good selection of produce which has its own section in the store. The isles are long and well stocked. Seemed to be pretty organized. Checking out was pretty fast and easy. The cashier was really nice. Overall I had a pretty good experience.

Stopped by there today at 6 pm. Walking in ahead of me was a black female around 40 years of age with a big empty cloth bag hanging on her shoulder. She went about filling it. She then picked up two items and went to the register. She paid for the two items, so I went to the clerk at the next register to say the woman’s bag was filled with stuff she’s stealing. The clerk just shrugged. So the woman walked out with all her stolen merchandise.

I often find some really good items. In fact the lady checking out my purchases complimented me on my haul yesterday.

Wow 99 has changed from 99 to over 99 go figure? Anyway can you believe a rare find these sandal are from forever 21 and they are leather NOW thats a good deal would have gotten them for my niece but they only had 1 size ( 5). Also i dont like that they close the door on Colorado before the store closes dangerous for me a female to have to walk around the block to my parked vehicle. If you lock the door you have some open it for people who are parked or walk us to our vehicle.

Went for a sewing needle and they had a small box with everything scissors 3 needles and thread all for 1.10 but I couldnt find nailclippers

I LOVE the 99 Cent Store... but it definitely should NOT be called the 99 Cent ONLY Store anymore.... but thats not why Im giving this one a 4 -star... out of all the stores in my area, I would say this would the be the least stocked and organized 99 Cent Store... and they just made it so you have to have a quarter to be able to get a shopping cart - luckily you DO get the quarter back once you lock it back up, but man thats annoying....But again, almost all of the other 99 Cent Stores in this area are better than this one....

I have been a customer for years and today was the most disrespect I have ever felt walking into this store. As soon as me and my 3yo walked in, I head the 4ft tall fat security lady say something on her ear piece. I was able to hear her say “little girl” obviously talking about my daughter! She then proceeded to literally follow us around the store! I felt so violated! Does she really think I’m going to STEAL from the 99 cent store???!!! I will take my money elsewhere! Never shopping there again!

Great place across the street from Pasadena city college,quick snacks,drinks, school and personal supplies at affordable student-budget prices. Today: fresh strawberries and blackberries with a carrot and mango all natural drink under $4. Great energy sources and low calorie and filling...

For a 99 Cents store its pretty large and well stocked. This location is convenient for PCC/Caltech students or Rose Parade goers in the area being a block away. They have pretty good deals, got the 14 Chex MIx bag of BBQ for 50 cents a bag, which is like 4 dollars at the Target near by. Havent really interacted with the staff for my quick stops, but they havent been rude or given bad customer service. Has a public restroom, decently clean. Over all a good 99 cent store, and would recommend going in if you need something cheap. Have a great day.

This particular 99 cent store is very large, clean & organized. I was surprised by the wide variety of items & foods offered. Theres a parking lot out back & handicapped access entering plus wide aisles inside. Im personally impressed by this store & will return.

More than you would expect from a 99 cent store. Sometimes you can find good stuff. Not everything is 99 cents. Read labels correctly.

Clean and Descent. Only problem is outside with rowdy, obnoxious homeless that yell at you because you dont give them money. Out of the Closet Allows the homeless to camp out there.

Just got 2 sketch books for $3.99 each at 2 different 99 cent stores. Great find! But normally I dont go there unless I have something specific to buy such as cheap household items.

It was easy to find the things I needed. I love that they have Propel water and ICE flavored waters, and Mountain Dew Code Red.

Racks empty pretty fast. New shipments come in on Wednesdays and by Thursday all the best stuff is gone but what can you expect for the prices. Theyre unbeatable.

Lots of great items here with unbeatable prices. Lot of people including myself thought thered be nothing but off brands here but big name brands are sold here as well. Definitely coming back.

I like this place for ice. Though its name is 99 cents only, they have items that are $2 and up to $5. The sell a graham cookie with peanut butter and chocolate that is tasty. On occasion they sell items like stereo blue tooth ear buds for $5.

Cant beat the price. They have some real quality products here that costs a lot more at other stores. Some things are regular items and some others are occasional or one time only. Gotta be alert!😉

My boyfriend and I shop here regularly and we both love it. We get our regular snacks here and it’s so close to home! I mean who doesn’t love to shop for 1 dollar right!

I go to school across the street and come to the store about three times a week. It is a discount supermarket which also sells household items cheap tools, clayware, Toys Etc.Generally has good deals on produce and the food selection is relatively robust. Can sometimes find things in this store that are much more expensive than other stores.

The parking lot is very small so parking is hard to get sometimes. the store is right next to PCC so its convenient for students

I usually shop at this location but be aware of the asian security guard. i purchased some bananas and tortillas from the checkout lanes in the front. i decided to carry the items instead of buying a plastic bag.just as i was headed out the back entrance, the security stopped and asked to see my receipt. i immediately got the receipt from my pocket and waived it as i rushed out the store.embarrassing moment for me at this location. was it because i’m latino? security should be trained better and know that this can de considered discrimination. either you check everyone’s receipt or you don’t. you cannot be singling people out. terrible experience here.

They have very friendly staff and have great deals on their non-99¢ items (such as cherries which go by 99¢/lb versus $3.99/lb at local grocery stores).

Ive been shopping at the 99 Cent Stores and they first opened in the early 80s I love this store still one of my favorite stores to shop

This particular 99 cent store is more of a freak show than most. The clientelle ranges from wealthy locals and PCC students, to seemingly mentally unstable homeless folks that are eager to follow you and get in your face. The products here are the same as any other 99 cent store, but somehow messier. Theyre trying though.
