Great place and aswome group of ladies that cut hair.. Ive gotten my hair cut here several times. The only hang up now is the wait. I strongly advise to make your appointment over the phone trough their sports clips app.. other then that I love the place.

Clean environment. Very poorly trained stylists. This is where stylists who did terrible in school go to get more practice. They know NOTHING about cutting hair. If you are a guy who wants a $25 buzz cut, this is the place for you.

My son and I have been going since it opened. Thanks to Krystalline for taking care of him since he was a kid! Very nice stylists, nice setting, good services. Good value for the MVP, punch card adds even more with multiple visits. Prices of products they have for sale are a bit expensive, would try them but too pricey.

We were so happy that our 4-year-old finally got a complete, professional haircut for the first time ever. He has special needs, so we werent even sure itll happen! Ms. Lacey was very patient and just wonderful. Were definitely going back! We went on a Sunday afternoon, so it was pretty busy, but it wasnt bad to wait at all! The waiting area is pretty entertaining! I think it took us just under an hour to wait and get the haircut. Well worth every minute!!

I had a great experience this past Sunday. It was busy but actually it didn’t take long to be seen. I received a haircut from Lacey and was very happy with her work. She took her time and made sure I was satisfied with her work. She did a great job and I’d definitely go back and see her again.

Signed in, waited for a little bit, got it done, and got the MVP treating for free because of a promotion. Definitely going back.

Dana was great she is very professional and works hard to get your cut right. She communicates well and explains what shes doing. This was a first for me to discuss my hair cut in this manner. I like it! Thank you Dana. This was my first cut from Dana Im sure I will use her again. Update....When I check in with your app and as Im parking to walk in and get a text that my seat will be ready in 10 mins I walk in one minute later and I have a 30 min wait. I dont make the rules but let me tell you if you advertise something that should be the way it is. This is sports clips from Lake Charles to Baton Rouge last warning if it happens again you will not have me for a customer. Its gone down hill since Charlie sold out.

My initial visit was very nice. Ive been back 3 times since then and havent been pleased with my cut. I asked for a simple style cut the past 3 times and no one has been able to do it. If you want just your clipped they can do it. If you want anything else, go somewhere else.

Payed 24$ to get the back my head doing the wave and get my ear cut. My mom had to fix the back of my head. Would get my money back but I feel for your business. I clearly got a new hired lady. She works with Leah on mondays I’m guessing. Please send her to a school before she ruins another head.

I’ve never been disappointed in this place until today. It’s all about rush rush rush and no attention paid to what they’re doing. Not sure who’s idea it was to see how many cuts a day your employees could do, but haircuts are about precision not speed. I wasted $19 on nothing that I wanted.

Extremely satisfied with the service here. Aniston was our stylist for my autistic 7 year old and she does an amazing job with him. Her patience and experience helped my son have less anxiety about the noise of the clippers. I will be a regular client from here on out

The prices are high and the experience is only for those that are die-hard into sports. Personally, I dont care for sports, so it was not a good time to be had for me. I can see the experience being great for those that absolutely love sports. It is definitely geared towards the stereotypical jock, so expect to be swooned over by pretty beauticians and still be able to watch your favorite game. If you need your ego stroked this is the place to go. I removed one star due to the constant attempt to up-sale and the over-the-top pricing model.

Awesome guys this is just for us. And they take care of us like the woman. Along with your haircut. You get a massage face wrap and several other treats while your there. I loved it and will continue to go here.

Great idea with sports on tv. Love their ability to check in and it tells you when you are next. Only problem is staff is always different.

Ill give one star because I cant give zero. I just went down for a simple clipper cut and after over an hour in the place I came away with something that is, well kinda close but not really. Not to mention it was one of the most painful experiences ever in terms of a hair cut. The stylist just didnt know what she was doing.....really disappointed.

Ive been there before and today makes my second time in a row. Im very picky about how I get my hair cut and who cuts it but the service was great. I didnt wait very long, everyone is friendly so I never felt uncomfortable there, everyone seems to have a good time just talking and working, the service is worth the price, and sports clips on Nelson is my go-to place for hair cuts.

You have to download their app to get appointment and when i finally got an appt I still waited over 45 minutes before someone came out to tell me it would be another 30 minutes so I left

Ive been to this one and the one in Sulphur. I have ZERO complaints. The ladies are professional yet approachable. They take their jobs seriously, and take pride in their work. I will forever be a returning customer.

My first time there and nobody explained the sign in process. I put my name down and sat with both of my boys. About 5 people came in after us. She told me 1 of my kids could cut his hair and then the other would have to wait behind all the rest because I didnt enter him. There was someone complaining before me that they had gotten skipped in line. Many other places that can cut their hair, Ill bring them elsewhere.

Hair cut was good, the ladies are gorgeous, got a wash with hot towel treatment and neck massage. Cant go wrong, only downfall is it is more expensive then you expect.

Despite boasting that they have no wait on their sign and there being a waiting area full of people, the stylist was very friendly, great with my three year old, and very quick. Ill definitely bring him back.

Will NEVER come back. Treated unprofessionally from the moment i walked through the door and my kids hair cuts were horrible. Being our 1st time there, did not know to sign into the computer at the counter. 1 of the 2 staff members standing at the counter, Carlie, had an attitude when i said i had entered my name instead of my children. She stated i clearly told you to put their names. I over heard another employee telling a customer about the specials going on at the moment...i was told NOTHING. I then showed her and the other hair stylist a picture of the hair cuts i was wanting for my boys. Carlie got down on the floor, on her knees, to cut 1 of my sons hair... It came out horrible!!! She said its because his hair was baby thin..this was about his 10th hair cut and every other person got it exactly like the picture... :( ( its just hair and will grow back) but her attitude, unprofessionalism, and lack of training is what blew my mind! And the 2nd hair stylist cutting my other sons hair (FOR PICTURE DAY TOMORROW!!!!) stops 1/2 way through and tells me she does not reccomend him having that hair cut because his hair is not the right length.. BUT I SHOWED HER A PICTURE BEFORE SHE EVEN STARTED!!!! So then i said, ok just fade it... She then says, oh, i cut too much off to do that. So now i have to go some where else to have it fixed! Then when i asked to speak to a MG., Carlie rudely laughed... After they called the mg, i was told the mg. stated she will not be coming back today & leave my number.. Im new to lake charles but i believe they JUST opened AND already off to a bad start.

I was disappointed when I went in the store. I stood there 15 minutes before anyone greeted me. Then was told they dont cut womens hair. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I left and went around the corner

My son 19 got his hair cut there, and Kelly was rude, childish and messed up his hair so bad I doubt it will ever want to go to a barber shop again. What some people can do to other people, what a shame. Shame on her she even laughed when she was finished cuz she knew what a bad job she had done.
