I have used Rich in the past before he was involved in Tarwaters and followed him here. He has always given fair and honest evaluations telling me what needs to be fixed now and what will be coming but can wait. Had him inspect my sons used car as I knew it needed work and he gave me a full run down of what he saw and any potential issues, what he could complete and anything that would have to be done externally. Rather than jump at a chance to do pricy repairs he told me safety issues vs items that could wait knowing the car was going to a new driver. I also had him work on my moms vehicle and they were able to get me in and out quickly resolving my issues in an afternoon. I will continue to return for any future issues as they get the work done properly and I have not had to return for repeat problems.

I love Rich. Hes been my familys mechanic for years, and I mean my full, extended family. Before I moved back to KC, I had some bad experiences and definitely overpaid for poor service a few times. It made me really cautious and nervous going into any mechanic shop.It has been such a relief to not have to worry about that. Theres no question in my mind that Rich is totally honest, extremely knowledgeable and a genuinely good person. Hell take great care of you.

Driving home from work recently I noticed a wheel sounded loose and it was. Long story short I didnt have my lug wrench on me. Called this nearby shop on a wimb and asked if I could come by and get my wheel tightened. They were happy to help. As a mechanic I know what its like to get pulled off what your working on at work and they were just friendly and super helpfull! He went ahead and torqued ALL the wheel nuts down with a nice digital torque wrench. I will be visiting them again next time I have a service need. Thank you again!

As a female I feel really good about spending my money here because I know they are fair and honest. Ive taken my vehicle to Tarwaters Garage for the last several years and wouldnt consider going anywhere else.When I took my wifes minivan in due to the Service Engine light being on, I received the honest diagnosis that the repair would be more than $350 but could be put off as there was merely a sensor throwing a code but the part was working fine. I was able to save the money for a more financially convenient time. In my opinion, this kind of honesty is difficult to find anymore.

Repaired my car broke something and fixed it but didnt want to work with me on loss of income because of their screw up. I didnt ask to be paid wages I asked you to offer a discount on future work because of the PROBLEM you caused. You cant tell me when or how to Uber! Your faulty work caused me not to Uber when I wanted to and could. I was dealing with family issues and out of town when you completed the repair. Not that it is yourbusiness! Your business should be to keep your customers happy! Had you not over tightened the screws none of this would be a issue.
