Update 3/26/21: The owner called me to apologize that no one called me back & said something mustve been wrong with the answering machine because she never received my messages. So, Im revising my review to reflect this positive customer service.I did NOT go to this salon. I called Sunday & Monday and left messages both times asking to be called back to make an appointment. Even though they were open today, which is Tuesday, 3/23/2021, no one returned either of my calls/messages. Not very professional!

This place is great! Every single person in there was very polite and welcoming. I got my hair cut and had a manicure and pedicure. Extremely happy with everything. I was there for 3hrs which was longer than planned or expected but I was pampered every minute. The ladies in there were so nice, I will definitely be going again and again. The only downside for me is that they aren’t closer to my house and are closed on Sundays. Currently that’s my only day off, so I don’t get there as often as I’d like but if you are looking for a quaint little place relax and feel special, this is the place!

I stopped earlier today at Rose Nails to get a pedicure and was treated horrible by Rose Nails as soon as I came in their door!! I am a disabled veteran with ALS and Im in a wheelchair and have a fully trained service dog. I was shunned away by Rose Nails!! I will NEVER set foot in that place again!! I did a google review on them too so please go read that!!I left Rose Nails and came directly here to Silver Sands Hair & Nail Salon and was welcomed inside with a wonderful smile and professionalism by Julie! She immediately complimented service dog and thanked me for my service, (I wear a retired AIR FORCE cap), and Julie did an absolutely awesome job getting my diabetic feet back in shape!! She has won my business ALWAYS and I will spread the word!! Come here people, not ROSE NAILS!!! THANK YOU JULIE!!! GLEN RYAN

I came to this nail salon randomly from Google. I stopped at one nail salon before here and I chose this one. Julie did my pedicure. Julie made me feel right at home. She helped me right away and gave me a cold water. Her equipment was clean and comfortable. Unlike other nail salons she gave a very long foot massage complete with hot towels. I would definitely come back here.

Friendliest group of ladies!!! All of them made sure that their customers were comfortable and enjoying their experience. Ms. Julie does an amazing pedicure! She took her time and made sure that everything looked perfect. Honestly it was the BEST pedicure Ive ever had! Ms. Julie is also one of the sweetest little ladies Ive met. I highly recommend Silver Sands!!! Its a small place, but very cozy.

Silver Sands Hair and Nail Salon is the absolute best. The staff was so kind and professional. I wont go anywhere else when I am in Panama City Beach.

Every time I go there Polly makes me feel like home! She does the greatest job with my hair, and random people tell me that I look like a girl from a movie with that haircut. She always goes an extra mile for her customers, and everything has a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I was visiting the area and needed a cut and color. I made an appointment and was taken right away. The price was fair and I am very happy with the hairstyle and color.The service was quick. I would definitely use this salon if I lived locally.

Betty did an amazing job on my daughters hair! My daughter is biracial and her hair has been damaged over time due to my over processing it with straighteners. We went to Betty for a Brazilian Blowout and it has done wonders for my daughters hair. Her hair went from being course and broken to looking silky and healthy. Betty was very kind and listened to my concerns as I did not want any further damage to be done to my childs hair. She recommended the Brazilian Blowout and I am glad that she did. We will definitely be using her and Silver Sands again! Thanks Betty for doing a great job!

Came down for our winter vacation and up and decided it was time chop off my locks! Booked an appointment here for the next day.Got a magnificent spa pedicure and an agressive haircut. Both ladies who took care of me were excellent. I would highly recommend Silver Sands, as they were reasonably priced and did exactly what I asked.

Chairs do not fit larger people. My stylist either did not like to hear suggestions of what works with my hair, or was not experienced to cut fine, thin hair. I requested someone who knew how to work with my hair type. I received a disappointing, poor cut.

Fantastic Salon. The staff is extremely friendly and theyre very knowledgeable and are very helpful if youre not sure what you want. Both my nails and hair looked absolutely wonderful after I left.

Sent a message via Facebook to set up an appointment. My experience was way better than I expected! I got a mani pedi with acrylic fill and gel color- its been 3.5 weeks and my nails still look amazing other than being too long now lol. Julie does an amazing job- and prices are very reasonable. This place is amazing!! They made my birthday and out entire trip perfect. Got our hair done, mani/pedi for 2, and a wax. And very inexpensive. Julie is amazing and Betty gave the best massage while washing my hair. Will be back on our next trip.

I came in as a walk-in with my boyfriend to get a pedicure. The lady was with us as soon as she finished with her current customer. But as soon as she started helping up, she started being a bit hateful and ended up making me choose a color other than what I originally wanted. A customer of hers came in considerably early, so she rushed to finish mine and pretty much forced us out, saying she didnt have anymore time to help us.

The worst experience Ive ever had !! Julie took almost 3 hours to do my nails and I didnt get a pedicure it was just a full set. She burned my cuticles. My nails were so uneven, choppy, thin and crooked. I would not ever recommend her. After telling her I was dissatisfied with them she still charges me $55. UNREAL !!!!!!

Im not sure what happened today but I left this place in tears with the worst color Ive ever had. I came in for blond highlights and left with orange hair. The stylist tried for 3 hours to fix the orange/brass color...the harder she tried the worse it got. My daughters cried when they saw my hair. The stylist offered to fix it later tonight or Monday. I refused because Im scared she will make it worse. If she could not get it done in 5 hours then I dont think she would be able to fix it.Ive been getting blond highlights for 25 years and this has NEVER happened! I hate to write a bad review but Im telling you DO NOT GO HERE FOR BLOND HIGHLIGHTS!I wish I could post photos of my hair on here! Ive never seen anything like this in my life!! It is Awful!!My daughters got their nails done here and Julie the nail lady was awesome! Id give the nail lady 5 stars!
