Great atmosphere, equipment is top quality, and the staff are great; very professional & very knowledgeable! Jamie and Alex are great training coaches; they have improved my technique and my lifts significantly. Im in better shape at 50 than I have been in years. Looking forward to a productive future with the Plunkett team!
The owner and trainers here are far from professional once you get to know them. At first the gym was great, good equipment and good training. But after awhile the training starts to lack. The most concerning part of the gym is the relationships that the owner and trainers hold with their clients. Im a firm believer in professionalism and keeping work and personal relationships separate. The owner partakes in personal relations with female clients along with the married trainer Alex who per-sues any female client who walks in the door. I do not recommend this gym to any young female. Also if you dont want to hear about the owners political views this is not the gym for you.
I do not recommend this gym if you are a female. Especially if you are a young and physically attractive female. If you’d like to add a little soap opera drama to your life then this is the place for you. My experience this past year has been nothing but high school drama, immaturity and unprofessionalism. The owner and trainers absolutely cross the line of the client/trainer relationship. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
Alex and Skylar are both great to work with and know when to push you a little more. The workouts are true strength workouts and results are pretty easy to feel/see within two weeks. Everyone is very good about helping and guiding you on what to do next and explaining new exercises. They put a lot of emphasis on using the proper form which I appreciate.
We saw the 1 month introductory ad for $19.00 and felt my husband and I needed a jump start to get healthier. Jamie Plunkett (owner) did the 1½ hour evaluation on each of us on our health, diet, and strength abilities. He was extremely thorough and we were there for 3 hours. Jamie sends out detailed emails and recipes weekly.We started at Plunkett Fitness the beginning of June doing the group personal training. I have always been intimidated when going to work out at a gym. I cannot believe how excited we both are to go 3x a week! I have lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks and already feel much stronger. The personal attention from Kale and Alex is incredible. They are always positive and teach each of us the proper way to do each exercise to avoid injury and strengthen properly. Other members are also very supportive. There is absolutely NO PRESSURE to join and we have decided to join for the year. I highly recommend Plunkett Fitness!!!
Took advantage of a free 2 week special and to my surprise by week 1 I was ready to register. This is the perfect gym for anyone who may find excuses as to why not go to the gym. You can walk in at any time and begin to work out. The trainers are always available to guide you and ensure you are using the proper weight and form while performing all exercises. Staff is very knowledgable and provide you a nutrition program to ensure you reach your fitness goal. If you want to make a change for the better in your fitness life please take a quick drive to Plunkett, you wont regret it!
I have been going to Plunkett fitness for 3 months and i enjoy it a lot. All the trainers are great, extremely friendly, helpful and make sure that you have the right form in all the exercises. They also help you with alternate exercises if you have any niggles. Exercises are challenging and has helped me understand fitness much better. I would highly recommend Plunkett Fitness if you need good weight training under supervision of great trainers.

Plunkett Fitness gives you a level of personal attention and guidance that far exceeds anything Ive experienced at other fitness centers. I have worked pretty regularly but was seeing little results. With Plunkett Fitness I have learned so much about proper technique, nutrition, and efficient weight training. It is much different than going to a typical gym--you get personalized training tips and demonstrations on how to properly do each move and and someone is always there to help, correct and encourage. I highly recommend Plunkett!

Great place for workout with personal trainers. I love their concept of workout plans. 3 days a week workout with personal trainer and free gym for the rest of the days. They provide you with diet and nutrition plan as well for free. I can see the transformation in my body after 6 weeks. Go Plunket Go..!!
Very laid back in a good way. You don’t have to come at a certain time to be in a class. You come and go on your schedule. The staff is super at teaching new lifts and techniques.
Started working out at Plunkett a month ago and am amazed at the level of personal attention from all the trainers. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to teaching you how to strength train properly to avoid injury and get the best results. The additional nutritional support is a big help. Ive had memberships to a number of gyms in the area and have not had a better experience than I have had at Plunkett Fitness.
This gym has a unique model and wonderful staff. Ive been to big gyms and worked with trainers and group classes before and always got hurt. Ive been going here for 2 years and am stronger than Ive ever been with no injury! Love this gym!
I love this place! I moved here a few months ago and was in need of a gym. Ive never been into the huge gyms where you have to wait to use a machine and the classes are quite frankly a joke. I read about Plunkett Fitness and I am so glad I did! This has been by far the best gym/training experience that I have had. The staff is great and the really know their stuff. I would highly recommend this gym!
I recently joined this gym about 2 months ago after having been a member of large gyms for the past few years. With this place you actually get what you pay for. The trainers here spend a lot of time one on one with you to properly teach you the correct way to perform each exercise. The owner seems to do a great job at varying the workouts each week to make your body responsive to changes in reps and weights. Everyone is very friendly and the place is very clean.
Jamie and the crew are great. Not your average gym. Top of the line strength equipment.
Who knew I would ever love a gym! Well, I do...I love Plunkett Fitness ... I actually look forward to it every other day. Staff is profesional and friendly, and always willing to help. Its been a month and I already feel stronger!! Highly recommended ;-)
Ive been going to Plunkett for about a month now, and I can truly say I love it. Every time you walk in youre surrounded by such a postivive and motivational environment to help you achieve your goals. All the trainers are so friendly and make sure youre doing everything correctly while also making it enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Plunkett Fitness!!
I have known Jamie for a long time and always wanted to train with him. I recently got the opportunity to do so. After many years of hard, strenuous exercise I was burned out. I love his approach. He believes that the way to get fit/lose weight is simple. Resistance training 3 times a week, short intervals and clean eating. This is a completely new way of thinking for me. By following this plan I have lost 5 lbs in about 3 weeks. I look forward to seeing where I go from here!

Jamie, Skyler, and the other trainers are all there to help you achieve your goals, maintain them, and motivate you to keep going. Whatever the case may be... you are not alone at Plunkett! Their knowledge is no joke, and they really help you progress and push you to do better, all the while modifying workouts so that you can safely and effectively work out. The gym is clean, everyone is friendly, and its a judgement free zone. Personally, joining Plunkett was one of the smartest decisions Ive made. I didnt know I needed strength and endurance training; I thought cardio was enough. Boy, was I wrong! Plunkett Fitness is the way to go!!!
I have always been intimidated and self conscious when going to work out at a gym. When a friend asked me to try out Plunkett Fitness with her, I was a little hesitant. But I gave it a try, and we have both been very pleased the experience! I enjoy the workouts; I also enjoy the weekly newsletters and recipes that Jamie sends out to help keep us motivated. The trainers are very helpful and knowledgeable and are always pushing us with both our workouts and our nutrition; they also watch our form and keep us safe from injury. It has only been a month, but I already feel stronger and healthier. I would highly recommend Plunkett Fitness!

I talked a friend of mine into joining Plunkett Fitness a month ago and we both are glad we did! I joined with the idea to lose 10 lbs. and to get into better shape. After one month I feel much stronger and have learned so much about how my diet is an important part of all of this. Kale and Alex have been so helpful during group training. They are always making sure everyone has proper form with every exercise so we dont get injured. I like that the trainers are always positive but at the same time they push us do try and work harder than we did the week before.

The group training sessions here are wonderful.Its been 3 months since I joined the Plunkett. Kale and Skyler really helped me in guiding me what to do.I had some good suggestions about my diet and what to eat.I was worried at first about the training since i had no prior gym experience but I am very happy now about my decision and the way I look than before.

I found this place on Groupon and decided to try it out. I went in, had an eval done, and I was all set and ready for the group workouts. Having limited prior knowledge about weightlifting I was a bit intimidated, but that all went away thanks to Alex. Alex and the rest of the trainers take the time to personally work with you, making sure you’re doing the exercises correctly and guiding you in the direction you need to be going in. I’ve never looked forward to going to the gym, but now I can honestly say I do.
This place is awful,dont Go! Waste of money, they charge anywhere from $120-$160 a month to do a circuit. The owner is a complete jerk, only interested in money Not the clients. You do the same workout each week. Not worth it at all.
Very interesting place to do my workouts, glad that I landed in such a good environment where my trainers are so knowledgable and keep me updated with the nutritional balance. I really liked the personal attention that I’m receiving from my trainers which I didnt see at any other gyms.
