I always have a great experience! I wanted to change up my look for my wedding and she transformed my hair. I started with box dyed black hair and ended up with this beautiful blonde. She took on a challenge with me and was very patient, making sure the whole time to maintain the integrity of my hair. I had only had 2 colorists/stylists in the last 25 years. I was very uneasy looking for a quality salon with great employees when I was suddenly without someone to take care of my hair. I didn’t need to worry since I found both at Clydon.I went into the salon and spoke with Kelly, who booked me the very next day with a cut and color with Martha. Martha was very professional and payed attention to close detail. The color plus highlights turned out even better than I thought and her short cut is amazing.I have found my new salon!!

I must say, at first I was skeptical of this place, they just seemed like it would be a bad haircut. Not so though, I left feeling very pleased and happy with the results. Theyre reasonably priced and very friendly. I normally dont feel welcomed in hair salons, but I did in this one. I got a hair cut and eye brows done, very very pleased and Ill definitely be back. The price is also very acceptable and actually somewhat cheap for the great work they do. Id definitely recommend them to everyone. Its hard to find a good place in Chicago when it comes to hair and what not, but I have in Clydon! Im glad I went, and will definitely return. I should also mention that the place was clean and nice, unlike some other places. Good work at a good price, I cant ask for more. They also listened to what I wanted done, instead of suggesting other stuff I didnt want. Great place for sure!

My female friend and I were strolling around the neighborhood and she spontaneously decided to get her haircut. Luckily for her, Clydon Hair Salon and Spa was the first place that we stumbled upon. The workers there were extremely friendly, and she didnt have to wait at all to get her hair done.It was a very friendly atmosphere, and there was plenty of good reading material for me while I waited. My friend was extremely pleased with her haircut and the service she received. And I was even talked into getting my first ever pedicure, which I didnt think I would like but it was actually really relaxing and enjoyable.

I went for a facial today and it was a wonderful experience. The place is small, but has everything needed for a great treatment. For my first facial ever Jesse was very good at telling me exactly what my face needed and the steps she was taking to help me look great.

I was a little apprehensive going to a salon for a mens haircut, but wanted a womans take on my potential look. I usually go to drab places such as Sports Clips or Super Cuts, so I was hoping a salon would bump up my style a bit. The staff was extremely accommodating from the start and made me feel right at home. If youre a man looking for a bump up from the standard haircut, ask for Candy, shes a great stylist. I feel infinitely better after visiting Clydon versus any dreary clippers-heavy place.

Totally got a detox seaweed wrap with an ear candling and neck massage. Best day of my life! The prices were crazy affordable and they pampered me hardcore. Water here, neck massage there, giggles while getting my wrap. So worth the drive, cheers all around!

Got a postcard in the mail for a free service, so I got a free manicure and then paid for a pedicure. Both were really well done. They are so professional and sanitary! They are more on the expensive side (the pedicure was $40), but it was very good quality.

I recently went to visit a girlfriend of mine in River Forest, IL. We decided to go get some lunch and then a relaxing mani-pedi. The closest place to go to after lunch was a place called Clydon Hair Salon and Spa. I have never been more impressed! From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like family. We only had to wait about 5 minutes to get our mani-pedis started. I am so amazed at how welcoming everyone is there. Other places I’ve been to were usually awkward to me due to the employees looking so serious and displaced.I’m not sure who my girlfriend dealt with; but I dealt with Mary. She is the sweetest person! Not to mention how absolutely wonderful my nails looked. She also did a special design on my toes; which made them perfect for the open-toed shoes I had to wear the next day. Thank you Mary and everyone else at Clydon Hair Salon and Spa! You were wonderful; and I will be back!
