If I could give them 0 starts I would. Worst nail shop that I’ve experienced. After two days of getting my nails done they started to peel completely off. The shop didn’t do anything to correct the situation. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

This was my first time here and I’m happy. They’re pricey compared to other salons in the area however they were able to get me right in for a fill-in with gel polish and a pedicure with gel polish. Thank you! I’ll be back

I read at three because I’ve had a few different experiences here and one really good pedicure and then I go back for my second one and this guy that Was doing my pedicure didn’t even let my feet barely touch the water he didn’t do anything he was supposed to likeExfoliate the skin anything then clip my toenails but every girl around me was getting all that done I said something Like aren’t I supposed to get that done to he did a quick exfoliation on my feet after painting them…I’ve never had a two minute pedicure before. I got my nails done And had three of them pop off within days for no good reason That was my first set of nails I’ve had in about six months I’m gonna have them taken off :/

Great nail place. I been going here for years. The employees remember faces very well, even with MASKS required for entry for services. Ive always received great service, good pricing and beautiful nails. And Jessica does great eyebrow waxing.

They did an awful job! I normally go to California nails 2 on East Little Creek road in Norfolk but theyre closed on Sundays so I went to this new place and only within a week did not one or two but six of my nails separate from the nail bed! I never recommend going here and I only recommend going to California nails too because I have awful experiences every time I go to any other nail salon but especially this one sucks

I went into this shop, for the first time last week...the worst experience I have ever had! I asked for a simple ombre and the nail tech had no idea how to do so.. I spent five minutes explaining to her how it was done! On top of that she made me bleed and kept painting....it has been a week and two of my nails have already fallen off!!! Please beware of this place...it is a waste of time and money...$65 down the drain!! If you have money to blow, go here, but if you want quality this is not the place!

Needed a change of color...Called n Vickie said to come...I love her work...she was busy so they put this other lady to do change of color and obviously she had no idea wat she was doing...then had d audacity to charge $ 22...

Went in on a Sunday for a fast pedicures with my girlfriend and a fill in for my just myself. The older lady was very rough with her pedicure. All they do is dip your feet in water an paint your toes. So if you want a fast service go here. I could’ve put my own feet in water an did this at home. An my fill in was horrible my nails are thick an bulky and not even. Everything came up to 93 for a regular pedi a gel pedi and a gel fill in. If my nail was lifting already I would’ve not have come here. Was not worth the time or money plus it smelled like pee an they were not very sanitary at all. (I usually never write reviews but this is my first. Do not go I don’t recommend)

I went here a few times, the lady Ms Rose whom I d prefer left. Then I just went one week ago and started losing acrylic nails before a full week. Called them about it after one week and they said I will have to pay for fixings b/c its been a full week. The nails were lifting and were not filled to fit my cuticle properly. I just went to where my heart lead me and got a new set so they would not try to fill in lifting nails and cause fungus issues. Not returning for business.

Ive been here three or four times. They are by my house and fast, so I keep going back.today is my last time because Every time there is some issue with getting them dry and the color blending. They make me feel like its my fault but its excessive used polish. I think i paid my expensive bill and will never go back.they glob it on. Today it was all over my wallet.

Gel polish peeled the next day after getting them done. Returned the following day for them to fix and re-polish. They wanted another $20. Will not be returning

I’ve went here a few times when my nail tech is booked, but this last time ( may 26th) I have dates and pictures that I was there . Lisa did my nails .. I always have got long nails for years . 4 days after the 26th a nail popped off but took some of my real nail with it and bruised & bleeding . Then today on the 9th as Im out a soda can my thumb nail tips just snaps off . Don’t recommend at all after paying $60 and a $20 dollar tip . Only thing i like there is the eyebrow lady smh

Where is Lisa? I recently went into to have a pedicure and waxing. Lisa is my tech. They said shes gone. Not here anymore. I really needed my waxing so I let Jessica do it. It was awful. I broke out on the top and sides of my lip. She also in the past tried to use nail polish removal on my eyelashes to remove them. It almost blinded me. I will not be using their services any longer. It is not up to Covid19 safety standards. Anyone know which nail shop Lisa has gone to?

So this is my third time coming to Nails Etc. I was not please with my first, second or third set. I went there today (which is my third time) (it was also my last choice) they are bad for business, they ARE NOT professional AT ALL. I told the person that was doing my nails I didn’t want color and when I was getting my lashes done. When he took the color off it was still color on them. I asked for rhinestones and he put them on my nail terribly. (for the first time at that place) he hurried up and painted them when I couldn’t see what he was doing. They lady that was doing my lashes got VERY mad because I didn’t like she put them on. I asked for individuals and used the little packs that you can get from the hair store. When she applied them on she only place them on top of my lashes not the REAL WAY TO DO THEM. (If you guys are going to do something make sure a professional is doing it) When I asked her to take them off she caught an attitude and was like yanking my lashes. She sticked me in the eye a couple of times. Long story short I learned my lesson for going there three times when I had bad experiences.

The first time I went the nail tech used gel polish when I never asked for it I had to argue and explain I was not paying for something I did not ask for. I decided to give them another try this time even worst. They did not clean off the seats after customers. No sanitize or nothing they allowed a customer to eat inside the nail shop that’s the only reason my seat was wiped off because of the fry crumbs let behind. It was way too crowded and my polish was chippin after 1 day I will not going back again.

Iwas running short on time so I decided to get a pedicure here instead of my normal place.The ladies were so nice, however, I developed a fungus that caused my toenail to literally fall off 3 weeks later. I hadnt done anything to cause this. This was the first and last time Ill ever go back. I would like to post a pic, but this review wont let me.

I really love this place! Its my go to place for getting my nails done. The employees are very patient and politce, especially since I was so shy when I first started coming. I dont really have anything horrible to say about them! 💕

0/10 experience. I showed the tech a picture of nails I wanted. I told her I did not like the way she did them and her response was “I can’t change it”. I left with my ugly set and day later I have gel paint chipping of my nails. Horrible.

My nails came out gorgeous 😍 but my eyelashes came off the same day. Had to get my sis to put on new ones..IDK if Ill be back

Very unprofessional experience, I had the gel polish on my feet some 3 times due too lack of communication. I explained that I didnt want coffin nails and I was still given coffin nails on some nails!!! My toe nail polish looked as if my twins 10 year olds did it. Very upsetting to pay $90 for service that didnt value over $50. One plus, they do have beautiful gel colors and design options. Their Holographic colors are adorb!

I do not recommend going to this place, as the place is very noisy with some people arguing. the nail technician She is very rude when I want to change to another color. I dont remember her name clearly, but I know she sits at frist table. Dont waste money.

They did well for my pedicure, however I got my eyebrows done and my right eyebrow is COMPLETELY different than my left and they are waayyy too thin. Never going back to this place.

I received a pedicure that cost $60.00 said pedicure was probably worth$ 40.00. When I was done nobody came to check me out my pedicure at left. I asked what the 60.00 charges were for and I was met with confused looks, the “best” pedicure was volcanic and did not include anymore features than the other while the pedicure was being performed. I never got a receipt and when I called to verify was asked for a receipt I wasn’t given. The discount was at one point worth it but I’ll go somewhere else for better service.

Lisa was great. My nails couldve been better. I had lifting after just 2 weeks. I will say this if you want something quick this may be an option for you. Theyll get you seated immediately. Wait time is less than a minute.

They’re my favorite because they are super fast. I was able to get a gel fill and pedicure in an hour. Being that i don’t like waiting at nail salons, this works for me. But if you like to feel pampered, this may not be the place for you being that they have never massaged my feet or given me extra TLC. However they are fast and there’s plenty of nail techs so there’s never a wait. I also get my eyelashes done from time to time, they do a good job on the lashes. Mine have lasted over 2 weeks so far.

They rush an don’t care what shapes your nails are. I wanted an ombré acrylic set and they were cheap with the colored acrylic. She filled in the rest with clear acrylic so it wouldn’t notice too much but it still looks crazy. The tips are super thin with a fat bases and she swore it was all the same shape and shaped well rounded. Absolutely terrible quality and service

I will start by saying MOST of the employees were friendly and there was not a wait for me.... But I dont think I will be coming back here. For some odd reason my fingers were burning. Never has that ever happened to me before. I told the lady doing my nails and she continued to drill. She did apply alcohol but that was just not enough. I also felt like she was in a rush. normally getting my nails done is relaxing and something i look forward to but today it was honestly dreadful.

I called had an appointment, they didn’t take my name on the phone to hold my place. Then once I got there had to wait to be in a chair once in pedicure chair I stayed in it till the water went cold. Then the stylist rushed my pedi and looks messy only good part was they cleaned the bottom of my feet well. She has me put my shoes on and messed what the color she put on and when I said something about it she gave me an attitude. Then same lady did my manicure and rushed that. She didn’t really do a massage either. As soon as she was done she said u pay you leave. Will never go back to this place. Getting your nails done should feel wonderful and relaxing and that the opposite of what I experienced.

Jessica was Awesome and extra gentle while taking care of our grandfather!!! He had some issues with his nails and there condition from another shop(shall remain nameless), but she discussed the remedy which cost nothing and got him ready to roll lickety split! Granddad and my husband and self are ecstatic. Thank you Jessica 😀

Love going here, the nail techs are all awesome and do a great job. (Rose is my fave) Prices are decent, not cheap but not too expensive. If you want great service you have to pay for it and its well worth it here.

I have been going here since they have opened and I and very pleased with their services. I see Kim exclusively. She is very sweet and professional. She does an amazing job. I know that the other technicians also do exceptional work because my mother, and sisters also have been coming here since they opened as well and all see someone different. We feel like family when we come in and have never been treated rudely. Whereas we have seen people treat them otherwise.

Worst gel manicure. Paid 30$ for something I could have done a better job myself. Paint all over my actual fingers and her solution was to cut it off ? Got to be kidding me. Won’t return. Would have rather waited somewhere else and had gotten a solid manicure. Then she filed my nails after she painted them. Can’t wait for them to start peeling tomorrow. Never again

This shop has gone down a whole lot i went in around 6:30pm on October 15/2020 after work I wanted a full set eyebrows in feet in lashes shaking my head the lady at the first table on the right is horrible she completely mess my nails up I wanted coffin nails in it look like my 4 year old niece did my nails very sloppy in they don’t care about nothing but getting your money I will stick with Vivian in southern shopping Center After that I told her that will go somewhere else she started laughingKim does pretty good nails

Ive been going to nails etc. For many years. Everyone are every nice. Kim is the tech that usually does my nails. The owner Jessica and sister Dee are good too.

If you are a walk in they will be nice but once you sit in that chair the lady doing your nails may come off rude and aggressive. My nails were done in a rush and looked ugly. They lady gave me attitude about getting it fixed and they don’t even clean their tools. I had to tell her to clean it. Good thing I had hand sanitizer. That whole experience was not worth $20. Honestly I had better.

The customer service at this place is horrible. The workers are very rude and impatient. The last time I was there my family and I spent about $160 and regretted it. They dont clean and sanitize their supplies after each customer. The will talk about you in their native language and smile in your face. I will never return here and pay these rude people my money again. The owners do not have control of their workers and allow them to treat thier customers poorly. This place will make you catch a case.

Usually I don’t have any issues with this salon but today a nail tech named Dee Dee did my pedicure it went well I used regular silver glitter polish and when it came time to polish my nails the same but with the gel compliment polish. The polish it actually had a yellow tint to it. Now because she was polishing and putting my hand under the UV without me seeing it between coats I hadn’t noticed until she finished. At which point I pointed out the difference (because it was obvious & didn’t look good). To which she replied yeah that’s probably because it’s gel. Now I get my nails done religiously every 2 weeks always regular on my toes and gel on hand and it has NEVER been 2 different tones let alone a whole different tone/shade. I asked for her manager who is Jessica and Jessica said “ohhh yeah that happens sometimes.” I said if it’s something you are aware of why not mention it to your customers because it impacts us not you all. She said well you can just pick another color. I chose to just use the regular polish like what’s on my feet and they charged me for the gel and regular although it was their product that was faulty. They have just lost a 4 year customer.

These folks are rude and pushy from the time you walk through the door. They try to rush you in everything YOURE PAYING FOR! I knew it was a reason I stopped going here years ago... One of the worst nail salons! I didnt like the fact that the lady that did my nails got an attitude when messed up the placement of 5 rhinestones on one of my nails and had to redo it it only took 30 seconds 😲

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! My husband got a toe nail infection the day after we got a pedicure here that was so bad he had to get the nail removed. They rushed us in and out of there and were incredibly rough and again...the infection was so bad that they had to remove his entire nail.

I started going here based on a recommendation from my co-worker. My first visit was not so great. My nails were done by Jason and my pedicure completed by Kim. Pedicure was great fill not so good. Jason seemed to try and rush me and I dont like that especially when there are no other people waiting. The next time I had Kim perform both services. She is the first table to the left when you walk in. Ive been going now for almost 6 months. Be careful who you choose to do your eyebrows. DeeDee or Vanessa are who I recommend.

I arrived around lunch on a Friday, before the rush, and got served as I walked in. The technician was engaging and experienced. My pedicure looks great and the salon is not far from my apartment. They also do body waxing.

My girl go here and enjoy every moment, awesome.

I gave this nail salon two visits. The second one because my friend highly recommends it. She told me that the first time was a fluke. Both times the gel on my nails started peeling in the first week. Both times my cuticles were not pushed back and trimmed properly. And neither time were my nails shaped correctly. My pedicure however was great! Which is the only reason this place gets more than one star.

This is my go to nail place. Got my nails done by one of the men recently and he did GREAT! he took off my old acrylics for FREE, cleaned up my nails and then put on a fresh new set and did it quickly but efficiently. Going back for a new set of acrylics again soon. also, pay with cash and you get a discount :)

I used to love going here and now I hate it. The last two visits, there were stupid mistakes made by a seasoned nail tech. Extra acrylic behind my nail, nails are crooked, too thin or too thick, and none of them are ever the same size once they get shaped. Im going to speak with the owner and if she cant or wont fix her employees mistake, Ill be taking my business down the street to Lees nail salon.

The man was very sloppy and forceful. I gave him a $5 tip, and asked if he could please fix my nails. He got an attitude and filed OVER MY WET NAILS. After filing, he told me to let them dry and they were done. The sides were rough and the nailpolish is sloppy and there are chipped spots. If you want your nails to look good, DO NOT come here.

I only give it one star because I have to I went to this nail shop twice once for my nails once for a pedicure a week and a half after I went for my nails my nail polish was chipping and it looked like I needed a fill they dont bring the acrylic all the way up and they rush you in and out the employees in there have very bad attitude my mother went for a pedicure the girl painted her toenails like a five-year-old someone else had to come completely remove the Polish and repaint them I am completely dissatisfied with the shop and I would recommend nobody who likes quality to their nails to go here either

I came here last week! A lot of people have symptoms of coughing and tiredness, a nail technician did for me, he coughing a lot, Im worried about being infected.

Absolutely awful experience when i went last month. It was my first time and i asked for ombré nails, after waiting an HOUR. I finally got sat by the most rude women who put my hands in literally boiling acetone to soak off. No joke, there were little bubbles in the water from it being so hot. I told her multiple times it was to hot and that i wouldn’t keep my hands in there and she continuously kept on until i refused and she adjusted the water underneath. Flash forward to one of the roughest manicures I’ve ever had, where i ended up with two different cuts on my fingers. PLUS she had no idea how to do ombré and left a hard white line between the pink and white powder gel. I ended up having to have the manager (i think her name is Jessica) come over and scold her and then the manager had to COMPLETELY REDO MY NAILS. I’m saying having to soak them off all over again and have everything reapplied. The only reason i even gave two stars was because of Jessica. She is the only redeeming quality about this place. I’m glad she did everything she could to rectify the other girls work but i will never come back here. AND they charge more if you have a card, paid a whole 50$ bucks and i was in the shop for 4 hours. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Jenny also did my eyebrows and did a good job!Cheap AND amazing job! this will be my go to place for nails.only thing, they dont have a waxing area, so if you do not mind getting waxed in front of strangers, then no big deal.

Me and my sister was trying to find a nail salon close to home so decided to try out Nails Etc. They were busy but I did not think that we wouldnt get good service. My Nail Tech seen as if she was in a hurry and she did a rush job on me. I showed her as well as I told her how I wanted my nail shape I want it oval nails she still gave me Square. I dont like them she left nail polish under my client came in and she asked her how long would she be she said Ill be about 5 minutes more I just looked at her as if you going to rush and finish you get to her I knew right then and there that that would be my first and last time there my sister treated me and she paid $65 for both of our nails when it should have been that high my sister had complaints about her nails and to me they look bad another rush job he didnt smooth her nails on good they have ridges in it her nail polish that she brought up her own was a gel nail polish that turn colors with different temperatures and to this day I dont know what he did to it but her nails dont change the way its supposed. She had used it before and they changed fine, but not this time. There professionalism is awful I dont recommend this shot to anyone if youre paying your money you should get a good job and we didnt get one. Instead they got the money they got and it will not have a return customer

I had a wonderful experience! I have been going to MacArthur Mall for the past few years to get my brows, mani, and pedi done and I will never be going back. I got my pedicure, manicure with hand painted designs and strip eye lashes all for $41.00 on Easter weekend!!! The paint is still on and my lashes look so natural! Ms. Vanessa was the tech that helped me with all three services and she is great! The customer service was awesome and even though it was a holiday weekend, we didnt have to wait! Me and my friend were in and out in no time! Remember to bring cash to pay for services to get a 10% discount instead of using your card.

Never AGAIN! I spent $63.00 and my toes and nails look horrible, I got shellac done on Saturday, its Monday. I would LOVE a refund. I wanted to go back and have them re do them, but feel like its a waste of time because they are rude. my nails are peeling and bubbling, and you can still see my real nail threw the polish!, for $63.00 I could have went to a high end place. The lady even said after I washed my hands it would look better no they look even worse.

This is a terrible place i had To go through 3 different people to get my nails done, then the lady who started on my nails attempted to up charge me on a shallac color change the guy came over to correct her and she proceeded to charge me 45. When it became time to wash my hands she expected me to walk to the sink with no shoes on, she didn’t offer any. Then i asked Her would she clean up around my nails because the polish was sloppy & she asked did I want them taken off & i said Yes. Everyone else was helpful but the lady with the blond & black hair was very rude & unprofessional. Her work is terrible & I wouldn’t recommend any service from her. Her nails didn’t look well taken care of to begin with. Then the lady who finished up my nails only charged me 40$. Very disappointing

I probably would have gotten a gentler manicure by sticking my hand down the garbage disposal.The lady asked me if I wanted my nails cut and I started explaining, she interrupted me with a yeah yeah yeah I know.Then when she started cutting off cuticles she took skin off every finger and drew blood on one. I tried telling her she was being too rough but she didnt care, she was busy listening to music through ear buds.When I got home I had to finish cutting some of the nails she didnt finish and remove some cuticles she just left hanging, not fully cut off.I didnt even want to pay the bill, but I wanted to just get out of there as fast as possible even more. I will never go back!
