I got a regular pedicure no gel I was never given a pricing chart an old lady tried to convince me to go gel which she stated is 45 dollars. I went with my sister as a birthday gift she also wanted her eyebrows done for a total of 80 dollars without ever being given a price chart you can find cheaper and better somewhere elese honestly

Yesterday approximately at 11am I walked in the nail salon, I was not greeted. I sat for about 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Was finally acknowledged after 10 minutes of waiting, remind you, there was nobody waiting for service. I was told to go sit on a table to receive eyebrow services, I sat there for 15 minutes, and wasnt acknowledged. I waited for the young lady to finish one customers eyebrows, and I was supposed to be next. (Nope) instead I wasnt acknowledged and skipped. At that point I was frustrated and walked out the nail salon. This place is very unprofessional. I suggest you go elsewhere and not waste your time.

Ehh about the same as any place you see out here. Nothing special. People were nice but guy was too fast which meant my fill in was sloppy. I’ve also never had so much extra acrylic on my hands that I had to scrub off and the tech even had to scratch off. I appreciate him working with me when I did not like the original design (didn’t look like the pic I brought). I only went here because my normal place is closed on Sunday and I broke a nail. Probably won’t go back. End result is still wearable for 2 weeks.

This place is not worth the money. Its overpriced and a waste of time. Just because its the weekday doesnt justify the salon to be understaffed. And the guy that did my manicure was busy watching YouTube on his cellphone and did my nails sloppy. The man who did my pedicure did a good job. Thank you for that.I will never come back here.

Steve is the best nail tech I’ve had. He did a full set of nails and I told him to do what he wanted to do and did he create. He did foil with an ombré color to match my toes. My nails also glow in the dark lol. He also did a full set on my daughter and she was happy. He will keep you laughing. Also got my first set of eye lashes that I was pleased with. Thank you Steve definitely going back.

I had a full set and pedicure done 6/15/21. First the young man clipped a chuck of my skin off during my pedicure, and just put green antiseptic on my bleeding toe and continued my service. Then the older gentleman rushed my full set. My nails were thick and some were lopsided. WHILE MY DESIGN WAS SUPER CUTE the quality of work was piss poor for $125.00.I ended up with fungus under both my finger nails and toenails a few days later which resulted in me having to see a doctor for treatment. Not to mention this was my birthday weekend and my toes and fingers we’re swollen red and leaking pus. This was the worst experience of my life.

I dont know the gentleman that did my pedicure but he always do a very good job so I always tip he nicely....

So I moved to Chesapeake and I didnt feel like going to Hampton for a pedi. I was referred here and was advised to ask for Andy. He does an amazing pedicure and will talk to you koeeps youe engaged the entire time. You can go to anyone here. They have the best customer service Ive ever experienced at a nail shop. They really know their audience. Go to Amy for brows! Shes the best in class.

The tech was very good he was very attentive to my nails but the price that’s a different story how do you charge somebody $20 for a manicure 35 for a pedicure and 10 to have your eyelashes done. I’m from New you’re we’re you can get everything I just had done for the same 35 dollars I just paid for my pedicure. furthermore they don’t sterilize there stuff like it supposed to be sterilized by state law so that’s the first and the last time I will ever go to this business and as Afro American Woman and men we need to start thinking we’re always getting our nails done by them what do they get from us nothing but we give them our money constantly if it’s the last thing I do I will find a black own nail salon in the state of Virginia.

I went in for a pink and white pedi and soak off and they charge me $75,I didn’t even get the whole spa pedi he just put gel that’s pink and white but somehow it’s $75 I feel played and never coming back

Steve did my nails they are bomb and soo pretty 💕 also my nail polish glows in the dark I let him freestyle on me and it came out soo pretty I will definitely go back when it’s time for a fill in it was worth the money and wait once I got in the chair it was fast also he is a good person to talk to and really funny

Went here a couple times stopped going because the guy kept doing the acrylic way too thick and they rush to get you out and shaping is not accurate on all 10 nails & just to over priced. Last minute needed some nails this was my last option & I was charged $150 long nails and the gel was peeling by time I walked out the door NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE!

Worst experience ever . Had a fill a week ago (the orginal set was here too) and the very next day a nail popped off then a few days later 3 came off . I am not aggressive with my nails at all whatsoever and my nails were drilled excessively at the cuticle so my nails look grown out already for a fill . I went to the salon and made me wait an hour and a half and told me i had to pay full price for a refill but glue on the 3 extra nails free . I am highly upset because they blamed it on the foundation of the acrylic when they were the ones that did it . I paid $60 for the refill a week ago and now want to charge me $50 again to fix everything I couldn’t get a word out they were extremely rude !

I got a gel manicure done on December 4th and they started chipping off five days later not cool for $35. But I already had a problem with them before I left. I should had Andy who didn’t do them fix them.

Ive tried many nail salons in the area and this is the best one. The acrylic is always thick enough to last and nails are never crooked like other places. And the prices are fair too.

Amazingly kind and professional Vietnamese family, beautiful and large place, deep and detailed manicures and pedicures with massages and the whole nine yards. $30 for pedicure and $20 for manicure 💅

This place deserves NO stars. It is absolutely below any standard of cleanliness. From the second I walked in the door I noticed it but ignored the signs due to having good service here about 5yrs ago. My friend and I were in the pedicure chair and I noticed some movement and it was a German cockroach crawling on the massage chair. I told the women who was doing my pedicure and she calmly reached over and knocked the roach off the chair like it was no big deal. I expressed that they needed to get some bug spray and she stated that it was only due to the cold outside as to why there was roach as inside.There is absolutely no reason why roaches should be in any establishment, cold outside or not. This is a direct violation of any OSHA or VA Health Dept policy.

I went in 2 weeks ago with my guy friend . He and I both got a volcano pedicure, ( WHICH IS OUTTA THIS WORLD! MUST TRY ) & he had a mani with clear polish . I had ombra gel set nail along with toes painted and designed, oh and gotta mention that my nails glow in the dark!!!!!!! I chose to have mine shaped like a cat claw or pointed you may say . The only thing that shocked me was price 😲 $311 that includes $25 for both nail techs so without any tip which is (RUDE AF) would be $211

I went for a manicure soak off and overlay/full set and a pedicure....I had no problems with my pedicure other than the fact the lady kept nicking my toe with the sander when trying to get all my original color off.. my problem came with my soak off and overlay/ full set. The man that did my nails soaked off my set by prying them off with a nail tip... Painful as you cAn imagine by the time the first one was off I didnt even want a soak off cause ik the acetone would burn my nail... Finally off and my original nails looked HORRIBLE from the job he did with the soak off only had 2/5 nails with no damage due to removal.. I get a decent looking set minus the dried acrylic around my nails... And next day paint chipped so now Im over it. And to top it all off I paid $115 for this

Everyone is very nice. I walked in and they managed to fit me in. Im military and the guy knew how to keep my nails regulation cut and still make them look great. Steve did my lashes and I love how they turned out. The shopping center looks alittle sketch but the inside of the nail salon has painting and nice lighting. I wont go anywhere else now

I love this place, it is amazing! Amy is always my go to! she gets the job done perfect every time. people complain about prices but you get what you pay for, my nails always last more that 3 weeks. and is always perfectly done!

Many of the nail technicians came across very pompous and uppity ( when I walk through the door today at about 2 p.m.) . The technician who worked on my feet --a male wearing a Thailand shirt- was very attentive but the quality of care didnt meet my expectation; seems unfriendly. While, the expecting mother, who worked on disable elderly gentlemen feet acted as though it was beneath her to service his feet. That particular nail technician displayed absolutely NO compassion or care. In fact, she started working on his feet after my technician and finished before my technician finish my feet. The nail technician next to her was very friendly very talkative and seemed to enjoy her job. Probably will not return; although one of my employees recommended the salon.

I like the fact that the technicians always remember you. Thats a good feeling when they have thousands of customers. I know its all about the money, but Ive been to some nail places that barely says hello to you and you dont feel welcomed in their shops...just feel like cattle being moved along the process. Not at Orchid Nails Heidi and Tye and a few others I cant remember their names are great.

Eva does nice nails. HOWEVER, she was extremely rude and didnt care. I asked her why she had such an awful attitude. There are nail technicians who are great and not rude. I will not be going there again.

I got my nails done there and was paired with a young lady who knew NOTHING about acrylic or layovers whatsoever. She laid the acrylic so thick on some fingers and thin on the others. She proceeded to file them and cut me to the point I bled a lot. She apologized but proceeded to mess up my nails. When I called the next day to get one of my nails (that she laid so thin) fixed a guy answered and had an attitude. He rushed through to fix my nail to the point my nail had bubbles in the paint. When I wanted him to redo it he had an attitude and rushed it once again. Just safe to say I’ll never be back

This establishment is one of the most unprofessional unclean place Ive ever been to. Not to mention selfish. The lady that was painting my feet stopped in the middle of doing it to fix her co workers mess up which was fine. I understand that you want to TRY to make a good impression. However I had to wait an extra 45 mins. So I asked if my friend who was treating me could get 10 or 15 percent off because of the wait. The lady immediately got an attitude and became highly unprofessional. So I politely asked to speak with management. She said they werent there. So I asked to speak to someone in charge so maybe I could explain my concerns as a first time customer and maybe get some sort of results. After all I did sit there with my feet dip in cold water for 45 mins. She got an attitude and walked off and said something to another one of her co workers. Then a lady gave orders to another lady. So I explained the situation to her or at least try to. I was cut of midsentence and asked if I wanted my feet done. At this point i didnt so she threw the towel down and walked off. So i just called my nail shop Lees Spa and nails. Ive never encountered this before and i was highly disappointed and will never visit this establishment EVER again. I also have pictures

This location used to be so good. Now it’s ran down dirty not sanitized and no customer service. I waited 2 hours for a pedicure and could not get it because I witnessed equipment not being sanitized at all. She went from person to person with the same tools just a quick hit and rinse in water. Absolutely disgusting not to mention the dirty dust and lack of organization throughout location. This is suppose to be a relaxing experience but how could it if your worried about getting an infection. Never again

Technicians are professional, fast, and skilled. There are some technicians that are better than others but overall this is an excellent nail salon. A plus that they do good eyebrows as well! You get what you pay for here.

Normally, my experience at Orchid Nails is satisfactory. Im normally satisfied with my pedicures, and Melody normally does a superb job on my designs. I dont ever feel overcharged and the nail techs are normally friendly. However, when I went in yesterday I was very disappointed by the service of the nail tech that did my design only. My daughter and I both got pedicures and were both pleased with the service we received from Heidi and Jennifer. Heidi suggested my design be done by Steven, however. I agreed and he did a good job. However, nail designs are normally $5 and he decided he wanted to charge me $12 instead. When I told him that I normally pay $5 he proceeded to argue with me and tell me that his design was more detailed than I normally get it. He clearly did not see how intricate my previous design that Melody did was. He eventually came down a few dollars because another nail tech told him to. He probably felt like needed to get paid more money since he was only doing a design and he wanted more than $5. However, you cant get anywhere in life by trying to cheat people out of money. You cant build a successful business by being a crook!

I came for the first time after hearing nothing but positive things about this shop and it was horrible. I asked to get regular polish on my toes and gel on my nails (which is what I always do at any shop I go to). The lady refused to do my toes because I was getting regular polish and walked away from me. Someone else did my nails and she was beyond nice however she let me in on knowing that the lady who refused me was talking about me in a language I could not understand saying that she needed to convince me to get gel, etc... I will never come to this shop for the simple fact that the tech was beyond nasty about my preference and made me feel very u comfortable.

I came to this place during my vacation for 3 weeks prior. It was very relaxing! Very great staffs! They did an amazing job on my nails! I feel be pampered the whole time here. 10 hands turn up for you!

I got the jelly spa you all must try and when you go ask for Jimmy.. Hes so sweet .. He got me right.. Sat down to get nails done I had glue on my fingers they wasnt filed straight the paint job wasnt smooth and it was rushed one nail tech was very rough with my moms sensitive hand and they dont listen when u ask them to be polite never coming back and my moms nails wasnt dne right she had polish nd glue that wont come off on her hands as well

I did not like this place at all!! The whole time Im getting a fill ($40 + $25 for design) the tech is teill me to shut up as Im telling her what colors I would like in my design..then for the pedicure ($26 + $5) w/ french tip. I spent $96!!!! And Im not satisfied with the service I received!! Being talked to that way and the service itself was UNSATISFACTORY to me. But if youre the type of person that loves this type of treatment then this is the place for you. The place I usually go to for years(k nails) was busy so I had to cheat and come to this ....NEVER AGAIN!!!

I get my full set acrylic done by Amy. Although its expensive, I love the job that she does. Its always neat and the shape is always perfect. My grandmother has also been going here for about 6 years now and wont get her nails done anywhere else. I have tried to get mine done at other places but the quality of the acrylic and nail job is no where near the same as Amys. I would give 5 stars if it wasnt for the price! 😌

There are over priced! I paid $75 for a below average pedicure and gel polish. Ive had way better pedicures for less than half the price. The decor was nice but thats about it. Definitely would not recommend this place to any one. Especially when you can go a few doors down and pay way less. I felt robbed when I left there. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I usually get my nails done here by seven but he has been away. I had the guy with the bad back the next time and he sucked. The Polish chipped and my nail chipped also. The next time was Jennifer, she was really nice but the work looked great under the dim lights. I got home and really observed the work and it was horrible. I went for a basic french mani / pedi. The nail tech was friendly (while talking about me the whole time she was working on my feet.) until I allowed her to run my card halfway thru the job. When I didnt include a tip, oh her whole demeanor changed. No longer smiling and (pretending) to be nice. No longer talkative (asked me what I did for a living. Just money-hungry!). Handled my hands a little rougher. Hell, I had to point out to her some of the mistakes she was making. And yet she pretty much harassed me for a tip until I left out that shop. Followed me to the exit, talking about, Wheres my money? Wheres my money?! Just tacky! No honey, its My money. A tip is earned. Not demanded. For superb work and customer service, I tip generously. I dont tip rudeness, and mediocre work. Needless to say, I will not be a returning customer.

They lost a loyal customer. They do a wonderful however, I will never go back. On top of being a bit over priced and they will try to get more money out of you. This has happened to me every single time I been. And its annoying. I tell them exactly what I want and they ask continuously ask if i want this or if i want just to get some more money. I mean im sure this isnt the only nail salon that does this but they wont stop until they are almost done with the service.Then one day, I went to go to only take my acrylics off and after i asked the man if i had to pay anything, he said no and sent me on my way. Months later I went back to do the same thing and the lady took forever then told me $10. I explained to her what happened last time. And that the man told me I didnt have to pay. She said noo, noo, its always $10. Then the other lady wanted to chime in and i didnt even bother to bring $10 with me because I thought I didnt need to pay. I ended up asking someone who barely had the $10 and of course I felt bad.So yeah overall they are good at their job however always want more out of you.

My best friend and I went there tonight. They were quite pushy. The lady who did my nails continued to ask me to get gel nails after I said no 3 times! She should be glad I didnt get rude with her because she was very unprofessional. I felt like she rushed to do my nails and was not friendly. I will not be returning. They are too pushy, overpriced and disrespectful. While drying my nails, one of my fingers got messed up and she redid it. As soon as i got up she shooed me away like i was a fly. She better be glad I didnt slap her chinky behind. And I felt like she was talking about me to her co-workers. You all know how they do! If I can report them, trust me I will. Dont waste your time or money! Go somewhere where you will be treated nicely! Im so tired of getting a service done by someone who doesnt Care nothing About you but your money!

I give it five stars because everytime i go in this nail salon Im treated kindly. Everyone is always joking and laughing and i have regulars. Ive taken my friends and they loved it the price is a bit high but they do good work so in a way i understand.

In the picture shows how much everything cost. I got a fullset with tips and gel polish. I got a pedicure with acrylic covering my two big toes with gel polish. Idk about VA, but in GA i can all this done for 70$

This place used to be good but not anymore. All they care about is money. They were rude and had 0 customer service skills. I went in for a mani pedi and when i first walked in one of the ladies started to take care of me but got upset that i didnt want a full set or gel. I went to pick my nail color and when i went back to sit down another customer came in who was getting nails. She then told me to get a pedicure and took care of the other girl instead. The guy who did my nails kept pushing for me to get gel polish and kept saying my nails wont last 2 days with regular polish. He did a half as job and was more worried about the poker game he was playing on his phone the whole time.I also wanted to add in the fact that they sale knockoff Gucci, chanel, and coach. While i was waiting for my nails to dry they were trying to sale it to two of the teenagers there.

The guy with the hunchback is very rude I told him to get around my cuticles and he pushes away my hand stood up on me and yelled telling me to go somewhere else the kids were calling him uncle. A lady named Amy the owner continued my set quietly acted like nothing ever happened and proceeded to tell me she was hungry and asked her kids if they were hungry and what movie they wanted to go see I cried in disguise and wont be back.
