I got a honey and milk pedicure by Mimi and it was wonderful she took her time and made sure I was comfortable. Then I got a dip manicure by Cindy and that was just amazing. She shaped my nails beautifully. Really listened to what I wanted. Another thing I loved was they take their time to soak off your old nails. Not take a drill to it or rip them off like other salons. Will definitely return.

This place is amazing. Steven did my full set of acrylic 3D nails. He took his time and did a beautiful job. I have had clear nails before, but this is the 1st time they are actually clear. I have been to many, many nail shops over the years and he is the greatest. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this place. They will not let you down.

Moving to Norfolk and leaving my usual nail salon made me so sad:( I am so glad to have found this amazing place. Cindy and Steven are amazing and have both done an amazing job on my nails.

I went to get my nails done for my birthday which was about 2 weeks ago now. My nails are poorly put on they keep coming off and I have to keep gluing them back with nail glue. This started after 8 days of having them. :(((( My nails were $75 for something very simple, I was not happy at all! I didn’t complain because I was thankful they were able to take me as a walk in pretty quickly. Overall, I will not be back I will be getting a fill and change color at a different salon.

Im from Texas. Was in town a cppl of weeks & just had to get my nails redone. Vys not only took me as a walk-in 1hr BEFORE closing! They took their time and did a WONDERFUL job! I was done 2 hrs AFTER closing time. I sincerely appreciate theyre professionalism and SKILL. Trish has amazing hands! She did my pedicure. And the only gentleman there did an EPIC job on my HAND MADE / ON THE SPOT Marble arylic manicure.

My nails were not even, almost every nail is filed on an angle. I didn’t notice before I left but I had to go buy a nail file and fix them myself. I was disappointed.Edit: I went back to get a fill with Steven and my nails came out a 100% better than with who I originally had. Shaping and attention to detail was there. Thank you Steven!

I walked in with no appointment to get dip powder manicure and gel pedicure done. They got me started right away. I had a style in mind and showed the technician, Cindy, a picture. She helped me pick out the colors to replicate the look. She took so much time and care on each nail and the end result was exactly what I had in mind. My nails looked natural, not too thick.It got a little busy after about 4pm but they got everything done in a timely manner anyway. They have the best massage chairs too!Theyre running a 20% discount of their regular prices right now so its a great value. The other customers seemed like regulars, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ill definitely be coming back! Thank you Cindy :)

Collectively, the overall experience ended well. I got the deluxe pedicure that took 2 hours because I had a trainee in learning, and 3 other experienced technicians to fill in where the trainee had no or limited experience. For a $65 pedicure, I shouldnt have to provide instructions. Fortunately, experienced techs watched her work & stepped in when necessary. Shes a sweetie & still learning, I tipped her $10 but if you want more than a basic pedicure, make sure you ask for techs who are experienced.

I called and asked for a specific person to do my manicure and when I got there she was busy so they gave me another person. I got my pedicure first and it was okay until she just started clipping away at my toe nails without asking how I wanted them shaped. when she was putting the polish on it was clumpy and she left streaks. I had Tony do my acrylics and they were absolutely horrible. The nails have a curve in them and were blotchy. I wont be coming back .

Went in tonight to get a full set and a pedicure. I was very nervous because I arrived 10 minutes before closing time, however they took their time and did a wonderful job. This is my third time going here I’ve went to Cindy all three times and the two previous experiences we’re probably the best experiences I’ve ever had I don’t know maybe she was having a bad day but I’ll never go back she was rude rough and over all I’m dissatisfied with the look of my nails (look at the picture)the customer service was off as soon as I walked in and maybe I should have went with my gut and came back another time I was so shocked I had to leave a review I’m not picky at all so I could live with the fact that I didn’t like my nails I didn’t even say anything but I pay for customer service that’s how I ended up at vys in the first place it’s unacceptable in my book

I have been going to Tammy for years she’s the absolute best. The shop is always very clean and neat and the staff is always very kind and friendly. Overall 10/10 definitely recommend.

My husband and I tried this place yesterday and was happy that they were open on Easter and took us right away. The pedicure was amazing. We got basic package and the massage and paint job very thorough. The manicure was nice however my paint job was very stretchy and my pinky nail wasn’t squared off. Overall was a good experience and will return. Staff was very friendly and attentive

My first and last time at this place. My nails were so jacked up and I didnt realize it till I got home. The acrylic on my nails was uneven. It looks like a 5 yr old did my nails. Well a. 5yr old will do better than them.I wouldnt recommend no one to this location. And their prices is crazy.

My experience was not good at all. My tech started of talkin g about my feet and made unprofessional remarks. Then when my nails were to get done the nail tech (female) started and her husband came in and took over. My nail are crooked, and he was very rough and unprofessional with every time I say something he kept saying you are alright and snatched my hand back. Then three days after the services my account was hit with another charge. So very unprofessional they dont honor the prices and add more to have you pay more and no disrespect but no one really spoke English well. I am very disappointed and will not ever go there again.

Very nice, and clean, they did a really good job on my nails. However, it needs to be stated they have the best massage chairs in all of Hampton Roads. I could have sat in that chair for hours!!! They were super kind and did a really good job.

Wow. I would give 10 stars if I could!I came to Vy’s this morning super disappointed as I have not been able to find anyone in the area that is good with long acrylics. I got my nails done less than a week ago and came in with 3 broken. They immediately looked at my hands and empathized. They took so much time and care to fix every single nail and make sure that they were completely perfect. On top of my nails being more durable and 10x better looking - they were so sweet and hospitable. It really doesn’t get any better. Not to mention, the color selection was the best I’ve seen in Hampton roads. Amazing job!

After visiting the other nail salons in the general area I decided to give vy’s a shot with my friend. I got a gel manicure and she got a pedicure. I did call ahead about an hour and when we arrived we did not have to wait, however there were a few other people already getting serviced. My gel manicure began and went fine until the tech was pulled away and the next person came to work on my nails. By the end of my manicure, three people had worked on my nails and they were just short of a disaster (however they were all SO friendly and sweet) every one My fingers were covered in polish and the layers were far too thick and uneven. I was too afraid to be an annoying customer to say anything at the time, but this story does have a happy ending! I also wanted a small design, a heart on four of my fingers. They had these cute confetti style sequins almost that were glued n too and within an hour of leaving the salon one was already gone! My friends pedicure was lovely, she received a great massage and she really enjoyed it. Her toes looked great.I thought about my nails a lot and decided to go back first thing the next day, which was a Sunday. Steven and Cindy who had seen me the day before were there. They were so understanding of my wanting to start over and Cindy got right to work. She took her time and even offered for me to try dip powder at no extra cost if I wanted too. They were incredibly sweet and didn’t make me feel bad for coming back, in fact they appreciated that I came back and gave them a chance to fix the manicure! I left there so pleased with how they handled the opportunity.The sole reason I took one star away was for cleanliness/organization. I know they are new owners and are getting settled but I do think with a little more obvious effort to clean up their stations before customers sit down/in between services, I would feel better. I hate to mention that the tools did not come from a sterilized packet and there was a considerable amount of nail dust on everything.I will go back for another manicure to see how things are after they have settled in a bit more but I am confident they will only get better!Thank you so much Steven and Cindy!

This will be my second experience with them my first one was not bad at all I waited maybe 10 minutes without an appointment I got my nails very nice shape and the color was great. So that’s why I chose to come back for a second time I called instead of walking in to make sure that I would be able to get my nails done on a Saturday evening knowing shops are normally busy. I was told to come in at two. I went in at 1:45 let them know I had a appointment they said one moment I didn’t mind because I was early. Two other woman came in said they had appointment for the same time as me sat down and waited. The man that does nails by the door picked up a nail colors and gave it to the other two women and ignored me completely!!! I assumed that they had an appointment with him but then I noticed that another lady had told the guy that I came first she pointed directly at me and let him know I was there first and he completely ignored it! so I waited to see if I’d be next bc I was there in time NOPE he picked the lady that walked in AFTER me. I’m pretty sure it was based on how I looked !!! I was willing to spend a lot of money on just a gel fill and tip very well but honestly the judgement by my looks was disrespectful so I left and I don’t plan on ever going back I waited an hour to get my nails done and didn’t get any service !

My friend and I came in close to closing, and they still so graciously took us. I had not had a pedicure done in many years, after having some bad experiences with other salons when I was younger. The ladies here are so very gentle, and they pay very close attention to detail, painting the whole nail, and really getting your feet looking nice and healthy.My ankles, tops of my feet, and shins have, for the past month, been suffering from a combination of wind, sun, and razor burn, and whatever oil they use, it completely healed my skin, like night and day; not even anymore redness! I left feeling pampered and with my feet feeling comfortable and looking gorgeous! I would recommend this salon, absolutely, to anybody! On top of it all, they were also very nice and very pleasant. Lovely place and lovely staff! Thank you for fixing my feet and skin; it is such a relief!!!

Some years ago I went here looking for a pedicure. The man who did it coughed all over my feet in the grossest way throughout the pedicure and barely paid attention to what he did. After that, I got a fungus on my big toe nail, the first time in my life, and lost the nail. It took two years to get a normal, healthy nail back. I wouldn’t go here to use the toilets.

They were about to close but happily attended us with great service. They even provide good food recommendations since we are not from the area.

It was okay. My manicure definitely could have turned out better. The paint was put on in very thick layers. And the acrylic was crooked. I don’t recommend this place.

This was one of the best pedicures that I have ever had. She was thorough and took care of my feet. She also provided tips for me to improve foot health. I will definitely be coming back.

This place is really awful. I was in the salon for nearly two hours for just a pedicure. The girl doing my nails had no idea what she was doing. It took months for my nails to grow back out and look normal again. On top of the atrocious service, the girl doing my nails complained about her boss the ENTIRE time. Will NEVER be returning to this place. Honestly, they need to be flagged with the BBB.

During my first visit I had a slight misunderstanding with a different nail tech, but when I returned, cindy was nice about the situation and took time to explain it better.
