Had a great experience here! The owner was lovely and all the nail technicians were friendly. The nail art came out beautifully - but I had to return the next day because some of the ribbons came off and had to be reapplied. I docked a star off for that. After reapplication, the ribbons have stayed on and I absolutely love it!

This was a very speedy pedicure. The basic pedicure costs $50 -which is not a cheap, but the feeling with that if I did not pay for the extras, like the spa pedicure, they were doing the bare basic work. I would not go here again.

I think my nails look great. it was customer service that was the issue. i have heard and experienced that they make you pay WHILE doing your nails. but only if you look “sketchy” because if it’s a white girl, they ask when the service is over. i was in the middle of receiving my base coat when another lady bombards me with the check. like what. and how are you going to ask for tip when i haven’t even seen my final product. it is just more ridiculous when i noticed that the white girls in the salon ALL paid after their service and i HAPPENED to be an exception.. that’s not cute.

Anyone who complains about this place is out of their mind. I have been coming here since they opened years ago. Great staff, very clean and they always do an amazing job. I wouldn’t dream of going anyplace else. Awesome massages, too!

UNTRUTHFUL AND CROOKED....$78.00 for a gel refill!!! Do NOT come to this place. I came in here with nails on already. I wanted a gel refill. When I sat down, I asked how much it’ll be. She told me $38.00 and I immediately look at the chart to see what was $38.00. I needed to leave and come back because school and work isn’t far. I left $10.00 because she removed the gel...I didn’t mind this because I’m a very understanding person and I know that you can’t expect any free in this life. When I came back, they proceeded. In my mind, I was paying the remaining balance of 28.00 because the lady that was working on my nails told me $38. I get up when she’s done and give $5.00 tip because I’m a good person and always give extra. The lady at the register tells me that the polish isn’t included! The gel polish alone was $28.00 in addition to the $38.00. They were all looking when I chose a gel polish when I first arrived. Why wouldn’t the lady tell me after seeing that I chose a gel polish once I walked in that the gel polish is $28.00 and not included with the refill cost?! When I asked her to show me on the price list, she tells me to look at the silk wraps/warps which is something I didn’t even get. Nowhere on their price list is there a separate charge of $28.00 indicated. Needless to say, after paying $78.00 that I won’t be coming back here. My coworkers at NYU won’t be coming back either after this incident. I hope the $78.00 was worth losing my entire dept. You all should really be ashamed of yourselves! There are good people in this world and it’s wrong to downright lie when someone ask you about a price. I didn’t even ask for my $5.00 tip back after being dissatisfied. When you do people wrong, it comes back to you 100 fold. Then she told me “yeah ok” when I told them I would post my bad experience. Not to mention that everyone around me was asked about a frequent customer card and if they were NYU students. It’s mighty funny that the only black person in the salon doesn’t get asked these questions.

I have been coming here for around a year on and off and they usually do a good job and my nails last a long time. But on Wednesday I got a gel manicure, which is my usual and the next two days most of my nails chipped and one was fully broken, I go back and explain to them the situation and all they do is make fun of me and call me a liar and want me to pay to repair the nail. Of course because of the terrible treatment I left and I will never come again. TERRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT COME HERE

This place is super close to my work so I go here out of convenience but I can’t anymore as the last two times I have had to return to have nails repaired after less than 48 hours. They are friendly and accommodating if your a walk in but the quality is not good and the pricing is high.

Prices are comparable to other places in NYC. Theyve got a 10% student discount for NYU folks. Theyre quick and [mostly] thorough.

The only reason I keep going back here is because it’s the cheapest manicure in the area. However...while the manicure itself is cheap they will find any reason to overcharge you for something else. They charged me extra at check out for a massage because apparently asking the woman to press a little harder mid-massage makes it a more expensive massage?? I also went in one day to see about a cut/file and was quoted $2, the next day when I went back it had magically increased to $5 just for them to file my nails (no polish, cuticle cut, etc). The woman at front desk arbitrarily decides prices for any slight variation to services on menu based on how she feels that day and has zero customer service capabilities. $12 mani tho.

No other place beats this place! I commute from Brooklyn to get my nails done here and I will not go anywhere else to get a manicure than here! They are kind, quick, efficient, clean and do good work and the polish lasts the longest of any place Ive been to. They also have great prices if youre affiliated with NYU!

This is a low tier, albeit reasonably priced nail salon in NoHo near the NYU campus. The salon seems to cater to a younger crowd and is frequented mostly by NYU students.I got a French manicure extension with gel nail polish done here a couple of weeks ago and was not very impressed. The quality was poor and the nails broke and chipped within a week. You could actually see the bubbles/powder that was used thru the clear nail, which I think was the result of the woman not being very familiar with what she was doing. The overall experience was pretty mediocre and the fact that the women who worked there were talking in very loud voices to each other across the room didnt create a very relaxing environment. In general, the women working there did not seem super familiar with what they were doing. Im sure they can do a basic manicure or pedicure just fine, but when it comes to more complicated requests they will willingly do it, but it probably wont come out too great. In fact, while I was there I overheard a guy who requested chrome gel nails complaining to the woman doing his nails that she had done it completely wrong. The manager then came over and basically took off what the first woman had done and redid them correctly. It was pretty embarrassing to say the least.Would I recommend this place? It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a basic manicure/pedicure, sure. If you have a more complicated or unique request like a French manicure extension, any type of acrylic nail, or chrome/gel nails, you should probably go elsewhere. In regards to price, it is well worth it, especially if you are an NYU student. If you show them an NYU ID you get 15% off the total price, which is a pretty sweet deal, but not worth it if you have a more complicated request and your nails dont come out the way you want them to.

Always great service, nails and massage. Cannot beat price or availability with a quick chair massage. Pedicures have always lasted a long time. Every single person has always been lovely and attentive.i am also impressed because they have even managed to accommodate a couple of us coming in together and have gone out off their way to try and allow us to also be sat together or timed together even as walk ins.I saw two negative reviews, which both note that they were displeased to be asked to tip more than 10%. That indicates to me a problem with the customer, not the service, as 15% is literally the bare minimum standard in nyc, AND shows a complete obliviousness to the economics of a service industry sector in NY. If you cannot afford to tip correctly you cannot afford the service (and I suspect they picked the lowest cost service items). I actually applaud the manager for looking out for her people who are doing difficult and delicate labor. Those customers need to bridge and tunnel themselves out of Manhattan back to a strip mall with no ambience.

Very nice salon and people but I broke a nail next day, and she couldn’t get coffin shape right, then day after three more broke, and I wasn’t doing anything but shopping and cleaning, for $70 that’s unacceptable, they didn’t charge me to fix nail but still very dissappointed

Terrible service. I had a REGULAR manicure done and the woman doing my nails was barely looking at what she was doing. She did a terrible job, bumps, peeling etc. under the polish and did not do anything about my cuticles. Go to VADA SPA for better service - its about 5 minutes away on the other side of WSP and is such better quality and service.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT GO HERE. I had a gel manicure done. It was rushed and the staff was unfriendly. My gel manicure started to peel off 5 DAYS after having my nails done. Obviously pissed since I spent $40 to get my nails done. I went back to have them re-done. They refused to listen, didnt care that their staff did a crappy job and would not re-do my nails for free.
