I will never come back to this nail salon ever again. The young lady refused to remove the polish when not satisfied with it. She then went on to paint over the terrible polish with a new polish and would not give me a direct reason or answer to why she could not remove the polish. $36.00 gone to waste. Mimi’s Nail Salon around the corner is by far the best nail service and spa in the UES neighborhood. I just happened to stop in here since the massage is less the price. I will finish the remaining service at Mimi’s as I am aggravated to have to wait for this terrible service of a job done to dry!

By far the worse nail salon I have been to. Product seem to be on the cheap side, it took 5 coats for my gel to look decent and sadly enough it chipped In less than a week. Also, any place that harass customer for tips is definitely a no no on my book.

I have been going to Pinky nails for five years. They are the best nail salon on the upper east side. Always walk away with a great looking mani/pedi. Highly recommend!

No frills place that gets the job done well. If you’re into low maintenance environments and just want to get your nails done and get out, this place is for you. Staff is very friendly as well. Cash tip only FYI.

TL,DR: place has unhygienic practices and rushes clients if they dont get gel nail polish.My friend took me here to get Mani/pedi (we had a treat yoself day) because shes always had a good experience here. There are multiple signs that say tips in cash only. I can only assume this is because they want to keep the entirety of their tip, instead of reporting this money on their taxes. I asked for services but was never given price. At the end, I was given a total and gave all the cash I had in my wallet. The technician proceeded to complain about the amount,loudly, to everyone in the store. She finished my nails angrily. She then came back to me while I was drying and asked if the amount I provided was all I was giving. This was in front of everyone in the salon. Other salon employees proceeded to recharge me so that I could leave a tip on my card. They said youre a first timer. I am appalled at the unprofessional behavior, discourteous service, and terrible work done. I will never be back to this salon. Awful!

My fiancé went here on our way home from dinner tonight. They rushed the entire ped/man and massage - then pressured her to use the atm for a tip - spend your well earned money at another place!

Just moved to the Upper East and tried a few other nail places nearby, was disappointed thinking I wasnt going to find a decent place. Walked by at 9pm and decided to give this place a try. They did a great mani-pedi, despite being busy, they took their time to ensure it looked perfect, unlike their neighbors nearby. It appears they do great back massages too as it seemed most people were getting them. Place is clean, they seem to take the time to clean well between customers. Pedi chairs are nice, back massagers are modern and are not broken. Good selection of polishes. Will definitely be back. Relieved to find a decent place, with good prices and convenient hours.

Great prices and everything seems very clean. Very spacious compared to others in the area too.
