I had the best experience at Nail WAH. I got the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten in my life, and they even fixed a nail that was chipped from another salon. The attention to detail was absurd, crazy good. I’m going to be stopping by here every time I’m in NYC. Thank you so much!

Stellar had great, prompt service and very reason able prices for the services. They were flexible and accommodating to my desires.

Terrible terrible experience. The lady who did my nails was not careful, rushed and wasn’t willing to adjust. She nicked the skin around my toe nail and I BLED. She didn’t even notice it until I pointed it out.When she moved on to my manicure-I asked her to cut my nails. She wasn’t being careful as she was cutting and was almost about to cut the skin beneath my nail. TWICE. I asked her to be careful and instead she said “you know what I’m just gonna file them instead of cutting them” and completely ignored what I said. Then then filed my nails and ran the file over my skin at 2 places (pictured). Just proves how careless she was.Their product quality is extremely poor as well. My nail paint got destroyed immediately after I left the place even though I had dried it for a good 10-15 mins.

Fast. Easy. Rarely busy.

Mani pedi was $28 now $38. They started working on someone else who came in after me with no appointment and left me sitting there which has happened a few times. Time for a new place.

I keep going back to Stellar Nail Spa because they have a good loyalty incentive with discounts for frequent visitors. That said, I’ve asked for nail art and had them tell me they’re incapable. It’s also on the expensive side for Manhattan nail services in general, although pricing is right in line with prices in the neighborhood. The real convenience is that Renew Body & Wellness is right upstairs for incredible, cheap massages. Treat yo-self!

They are so lucky that I am a good person due to the lack of service that was provided. I paid $22 for a pedicure that was done in 8 minutes!! I have been to several nail salons and I have NEVER received such poor service. I walked in and was done 8 mins later...how is this possible?! Do Not Go here.The lady who did my nails keep on hurting me with the nail clipper.

Would not go back here. The nail tech was very rough and made three of my fingers bleed. The paint didnt turn out great and there are noticeable imperfections. The prices seem reasonable but then they add on tax and there is no leg massage with a pedicure (not even a minute or two). Also for callus treatment, it is an additional $8 and the service was not worth the $8. I tipped 17% after my painful manicure and poor service and when I handed the tech the cash, she looked mad and did not say thank you. Waste of my time and my money. Go elsewhere.

I was very disappointed by the level of service and quality of work. The girl at the desk had an attitude from the time I walked in. Its frustrating when some nail salons act like they are doing you a favor for providing a service.... that you pay for.They wanted to charge me extra to use the file to take dead skin off my feet. Isnt that the point of a pedicure? I shouldnt have to go home after paying for a pedicure and file my own feet!!It has been an hour and my toe polish is already chipping, and my GEL polish on my nails is chipping as well. So thank you because now I have to spend money elsewhere to get it fixed.I wish I read the 2.2 star rating before going.If you work in the service industry, please learn customer service skills, it will only help your business.

I would not recommend. Very poor. A manicure and pedicure is just cutting your nails and nails wash your feet. My feet were as rough coming out as going in

This is one of the worse nail salons Ive visited. I came in requesting a silk wrap on my nails, but apparently only person on staff can do that and she wasnt in. So I settled for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. When I tell you these ladies (yes they had one working on my toes and one on my hands simultaneously) put in minimal effort. The woman who did my manicure, gave me a half-ass manicure. She shaped all of my nails in different sizes, barley cut the cuticle, filed down much too far. The woman doing my pedicure was slightly better, but wound up giving me a crooked French tip on my toes. Like how could she not notice the white line is completely off? And have the nerve to charge me extra for the french tip. I would never come here and no one else should either. The treatment and the service were just horrible.

The nails were done nicely, but I think it’s extremely rude to ask to pay before the job is done. Like they’re scared I’m going to leave without paying? Made me feel unwelcomed. Never again for me.

Why are they still in business? There are much better options in the same price range.The lady was rushing to get the job done, and she left a huge area on my right thigh unwaxed. She didn’t go back in with a tweezer to fix hair that didn’t grab onto the wax. I gave her a 13% tip out of dissatisfaction but politeness, but she insisted on a 18% minimum tip. Also the service was $38 and there was a $2 additional list item for tax? Really?? That’s 5.26% and there’s no way it’s tax in NY state.

Im use to go to so many nails places in the city, my husband likes massages a lot we were walking and saw this places.... first a lady say a price so high that is not the price in the brochure and she literally took off the brochure out my hands..a pedi was done in a hurry, her scrubbing was so bad that my 11year old could of do a better job than hers.. at the end the lady demanded me to give 20% tip, I say I will give what I think it was deserved..and they started laughing... NOT COMING HERE AGAIN FOR SURE

They do great work, nice manicures and great massages, however, they will overcharge you if you dont pay attention to the prices. Also, if you tip 20% they give you attitude. I wouldnt revisit for that reason only. Very shady.

Will never go back! I went in because their services are quite inexpensive and I figured I would give it a shot. I asked for a gel manicure and I should have stopped her when she cut my finger as she was removing my cuticles. Not only was she not paying attention when she did that, but she didnt clean it up. She ACTUALLY PAINTED OVER THE BLOOD and told me that she would clean it after the gel was set. Nope. The blood set with the gel. Reading this over, I honestly dont understand what in the world provoked me to go in there, much less, STAY after all this crap went down. The manicure was half-assed and the ladies working there arent very friendly/customer service oriented.As for the gel manicure, it chipped within 3 days. Absolutely awful and wouldnt recommend to anyone!

Horrible I go to get pedicures to get the full experience the lotion and the leg rub the hot towel and what normal pedicures do and all the did was paint my nails in a “massage” chair that didnt even work. It felt like they wanted to get me out the second I walked in didn’t even put me under a dryer just gave me a bad paint job and made me leave. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Have been going there a lot they try to push services on you and my cuticles were shabby the service was to fast will not go back

Incredibly disappointing. I went here for a polish change on my toenails and it came out horribly smudged. They told me I could come back to have it redone, I waited 20 minutes with my toes in the drying machine so it would dry properly. When I got home it was horribly smudged and I had to paint over the majority of my toe nails myself. Absolutely unbelievable- this salon has permanently lost me as a customer.

Was looking for a place that would be cheap and quick for a shellac manicure.. this place offers that but with terrible service! normally I go to a place by my apartment but work in the west village area. not only did the manicurist yell at me for taking my hand out of the UV light but she tried forcing me to cut my cuticles (which is bad for someone that gets hang nails easily). its also pretty obvious when someone is talking about you even though theyre speaking another language. than she rolled her eyes when I only tipped her $4.. I tip on the quality of service. I work in the service industry and that service was pretty subpar!

Stay away worst service ever! Literally spent 10 mins on Mani and pedi. They wash my feet and change color. I could have done a better job. Scam 24 but add 3 for tax . Dont waste your money here. Had the nerve to ask me if I want a massage 😧

I was ther for pedicure and manicure today. Their service is too fast and not even like the regular little massage like other nail spa s . They ask 10$ more for th massage if you deny then u get nothing just the painting. Then what the pedicure stand for? Also The paints r not properly quoted. After drying them also it goes out faster. Its not even an hour and I m started losing them.I regret why did I chose this place.

Poor service.The pedicurist refused to use actual soap.I washed and scrubbed my own feet.I will never go there again.

I had the best gel nails Ive ever had in my life there.... They lasted a full 2 weeks - that never happens.

This place looks okay, but actually if you dont buy an upgrade from their basic mani-pedi, you are treated like trash that drifted in the door.Once I asked for the basics, I was given the shortest service ever, both mani and pedi in less than 20 minutes. Minimal filing, unmatched nails, quick brush on heels, no lotion or massage...then she shoved my hands under the dryer, damaging 3 nails and headed to the back. I never saw her again, nor did anyone pay any attention to me. Short of making a full on scene, there was no one to question or speak with.I travel to Manhattan pretty much every month and was looking for a new spot, but this one is NEVER AGAIN!!!

Well.. not only did she rush but she also demanded I give a 20% tip which she did not deserve. She was rude and didnt even shape my nails properly.

The upstairs foot massages felt great. Very relaxing.
