Came in late with no appointment and got tips and gel. Even though I was the last of the night, Lee took her time and did a fantastic job, always checking in to make sure I was happy. It’s the best manicure I’ve received in NYC, and not too pricey. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s perfect. Not a glitzy salon by any means, but I was 100% satisfied by my visit. Ask for Lee!
Not sure why this spot doesnt have better rating as my experience was great. I arrived late and they took very good care of me. They had a good selection of gel colors and clean facility. After the spot (Hera Nails) I went to first I had low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised.
Eva fixed my nails that were a trash set (done at a different salon in the LES) from just a week prior. She is amazing! I walked in with just barely enough time to spare and she made it happen. Eva is super friendly and knows what she’s doing. I will definitely be back to see her again!
I used to come in here often but last time I got my nails done I got a gel manicure that started peeling off literally the next day. The lady doing my nails also cut my cuticle so poorly that I started to bleed and hand to bandage my finger for a few days. They also raised their prices and its clearly not worth it with their poor quality service. Will never go back again. Waste of money.**UpdateI went back a few days later and they re-did my gel manicure free of charge. I was thankful for that!
Please don’t go to this place is a waist of money
Uneven thick lines said she could do something she could not. Not hapoy would never recommend
They said free ATM with a sign on it Free. I said it cant be free and she insisted it was. The next day ATM fee was 2.50 charged. The ATM is not free. They do not speak good English either.
I went in on a Sunday, 7/21, asked for a full set with gel polish. Paid 89 dollars. On Tuesday 7/23, three nails fell off. The job was done so poorly. My nail were all bumpy. I went to another place and even the lady said the job was done very poorly. They told me to come back to fix it, but I had a bridal shower and couldn’t afford to loose more money. I had then redone somewhere else. I promise they are the worst. They don’t know how to nails and charge way too much. I will never go and I would advise that no one else go. For prime location and the amount of money paid, you would think they would have done a better job. Or if you don’t know how to, just tell me I’ll go somewhere else. They are bad people.
Terrible gel manicure that was done in such a rush she filed my nails crooked and set the gel with bumps in it. The place was empty and the technician could care less. Then they charged me $6 to remove my previous gel manicure even though I was getting a fresh one with them. Terrible service and overpriced. Go down the street and save your money.
Worst pedicure I’ve ever received. Did not file or cut my cuticles. I waited nearly an hour to leave so that my toes would dry and as soon as I got home my toes were completely smeared and chipped. Poor service, waste of money and waste of time. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow morning and do not have time to get them fixed either... will probably just have to spend more money somewhere else that knows how to do it right.
The worst nails dalon ever. I got a pedicure and payed extra for fast dry coat. Well, I had to repaint twice. And they still managed to get ruined even after wearing flip flops for 4 hours. Worst part is the lady didnt even take the polish off to redue them instead she just painted on top of them. Lesson learned never again!!
I should have LISTENED to warning of customer sitting who warned me that she had to return NEXT DAY for gel nail polish chipping. I came with tips full set needing 1 pinky nail repair after 5 repairs in 10 days from Sunny Nails poor service. Henceforth only 3 nails needing filling +1repair. They grabbed hands, repaired pinky nail and began a powder filling on all nails. THEN 1) Rough filing hurt my cuticles 2) Cut 1 nail TOO short so nails didnt match 3) Didnt put enough powder 4)Charged me $38! No discount for only filling 3 nails + 1 repair 5) Didnt clean under nails 6) IGNORED every word I said but wanting their $$$. #Terrible
Many times i visited here, I had always good feedback. But yesterday i went again to lilys salon and i had done menicure after menicure may nails was looking very shine and much healthier.Thank You!!
I was very pleased with their services. Had a mani and pedi and a 10 minute foot massage
Came here for a pedi and massage toward the end of the day. Pedicure was average, but when I asked for a stronger massage after I ordered the 10 minute massage, she said NO! And I came here more for the massage then a pedi! I paid $10.50 for a LIGHT RUB. What a waste.
Upcharges (ie callous removal and cuticle cut etc) are high for what they are - $11 extra for callous cream which was only applied for a couple minutes, many other salons include this at no extra cost.Salon is ok overall and service was decent until they pressured for extra tip which made me feel very uncomfortable. I had already tipped 20% for the full mani pedi plus add-Ons After the pedi was finished, and they put me with someone else to paint my nails. The pedi lady came back while my nails were drying and said “am I supposed to share this tip?” I was quite taken aback. I said yes it’s 20% for the full service. She scowled at me. I don’t think I would go back because of this. Awkward.
Prefect for a fast, cheap and easy manicure but you get what you pay for . Staff is so nice
Worst service ever! they force you to tip, and if you do not, they lock you in the door and they start yelling at you!
Could be better. I mean I got charged 7 dollars to fix ONE BROKEN NAIL REALLY???!!! PLUS I WAS FORCED TO PAY TIPS
Lilys is a gem in Midtown West, where most mani/pedis cost over $50. I went here on a Friday when I was in no rush to get home and was pleasantly surprised to spend under $30! A great pedicure in a super clean bin and a manicure with a friendly woman makes me wish I could go to Lilys every day! :)
I’d put no stars but that’s not an option. I came in to fix one broken nail and get a normal manicure. The woman did a terrible job and the broken nails is still partly exposed. I have very thin nails and asked her not to buff the tops and she completely disregarded me. I was very upset by this service and I left before she even painted my nails.
I took my cousin here on a Sunday to get her nails done. She was visiting from the U.K. Half way through her mani/pedi, she got up to go for her wallet. The lady had asked her for payment half way though. As my cousin handed her the cash, she blatantly stated I keep tip for myself. Wow, who just takes tip for themselves, half way through a service you have not finished! She then started to justify her actions by saying it is standard. I then interrupted her and said I am not the visitor and this is not standard practice for nail salons to just take tip half way though service. Not only did she just take advantage of my cousin but the nail work was not that great. Seriously, do not ever come here.
Been going here for at least six years; have always had a good experience.
AWFUL. I never give reviews but they did my nails so bad and charged me $150 I’m honestly astonished .. basically scammers don’t know how they got their license . FORCED US TO PAY EVEN THEY KNEW IT WAS AWFUL
Was visiting from California a week ago, I walked in to the salon in much need for my nails to be done and was attended right away by a nice staff, I am still very happy with their job. 😊
Cheap and easy. Great pedicure!
Horrible regular manicure - HORRIBLE, very sad I spent 10 dollars there.
Nice people. Good quality of work.
Always has been a great experience
Always a great experience.
Gel came off after 3 days
Inexpensive, clean, friendly!
I went by chance during my vacation to save my nails which were in a sorry state, without having seen the comments before and thankfully because I was very well received. At first glance it may seem a little abrupt because they rely on efficiency, it must be said that they have the world. But once installed the service is very friendly and professional. I did a simple manicure, nail care and nail polish with base and top coat. The lady who took care of me, it seems to me that her badge indicated Lee, took the time to take care of my cuticles with attention and softness and massaged my hands with a cream before applying the varnish and care quickly and efficiently. Before the installation of varnish must be paid in order not to take the risk of damaging the varnish after installation, she explained it well. I got $ 11 and added $ 3 tips (it must be done it is a must in NY), but $ 14 it seems to me quite correct for the service provided. After the installation we go to drying and for my part the varnish held 5/6 days without flaking but being on vacation I did not do dishes / cleaning that helps too.
