They are fast and do good work. This is a no frills place, a little disorganized but they get the job done. And the prices are good. Much cheaper & better work than the midtown salon I used to go to. Ive been thrilled with the work by Helen. Shes the only person Ive had there and I highly recommend asking for her if you go.

I have known the owner for over 20 years and have been attending the salon for that amount of time, quality care and service for nails and pedicures. The picture I shared is the color I chose to be painted on my nails, and they gladly obliged my request, awesome! If you have a preferred color that they do not have, you do have the option to bring your own polish and they will polish your nails with your preferred color. You cannot go wrong in this Salon, theyre wonderful people with great talent!

I went in to get a full set of acrylics last week. The girl that did my nails (dont know her name but a young girl) was very sweet and friendly. I really enjoyed getting my nails done from her, so much that I had decided I would go back to her.The next day I look at my nails and I see that two nails had already lifted. It was easy to see the air bubbles since there wasnt any color on those nails. So I go back in and ask if she could fix it. She fixed three (found one more that was lifted) nails that were like that. I was happy she was nice and didnt give me any problems.Two more days go by and I noticed the SAME NAILS are lifted again... plus I noticed two additional nails were lifted too. So I go back in to try and talk to them and see if they can fix it, or give me my money back. The girl that did my nails wasnt in, so I talk to another technician, who tells me to come back tomorrow. I tell her (nicely and in a calm voice) if they could give me my money back because I cant come tomorrow and it hasnt even been a week and four of my nails are lifted already.This is when this lady starts YELLING at me and telling me that Ive been picking at my nails and that its my fault that they are like that and that Im too picky and they already fixed them for me. She goes on and on continuing to yell at me... it was SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Even if they cant give me my money back or they do not agree with what Im saying the yelling was so unnecessary. I have never experienced that in my life. Why would I purposefully be messing up my nails? Acrylics should last you at least two weeks and these didnt even last me one.I will never be going in there again. I would have given them another chance but after I was yelled at in front of the whole salon (to the point that another lady that was there at the end jumped in) I will never go back again. The nails are lifting because they didnt seal them right and probably are using cheap powder... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I wasted $60

Tin Tin is amazing.

It’s a small space salon which can get crowded at time but the service here is excellent . The prices are reasonable but be very careful of the add-on which can ended up been very pricey . If you’re in Harlem around 125th Street area on the west side and need a quick mix me up mani/pedi this is the place to be. I recommend “Kim” the technician for your prefect pedicure .

This place is terrible, even for a hood spot. I went in to get a pedicure with my girlfriends. The entire job was rushed. Not to mention they used cheese graters to scrape the bottom of your feet. Not just one person but every last one of them pulled a cheese grater from their caddy to scrape the feet of the person they were working on. Not a foot scraper, a cheese grater! Yes, the same kind of cheese grater you buy from the grocery store. I was moved to a place to let my feet dry and was rushed to leave after be a few minutes. Ill never go back there again.

Nice place to get your nails done. I would have given a 3 1/2 star rating but my first visit one of the staff asked me if I was going to tip the nail tech, and I already had. I went back today not letting one experience turn me off totally. It was better.

Did a Manicure and Pedicure there. They did a really nice job. In 2 weeks I go to my Brothers Barber at Bennys Barber Shop on Jamaica Ave in Woodhaven.

My first time going here & i had a good experience... A few things about the place...1. You have to pay b4 the job is complete. I dont think its a race thing I think they had some bad experiences so they started this policy...2. Be respectful I seen people going there being rude and demanding and not giving service well.. 3. I would suggest Sundays or early when they first open when theyre not as busy. 4. Ask for tin tin he the best in there no issues really respectful

Came in at 2pm was told it was an hour wait so I scheduled an appointment for 3:15 showed up on time 3:10 and still had to wait 30 mins. What was the point in scheduling.My temperature was taken after being there waiting for 30 mins.The place was very clean but I will not be going back.

Consumer beware!! You will waste your money. I was very dissatisfied with the outcome a my gel acrylic nails because after 2 weeks the nail polish was chipping and my nails it looked as if I hadnt done them in over two months. A colleague of mines got her nails done a month before mines and she was surprised at how poorly skilled the nail techs are at this salon. I complained to the staff about the gel nails polish chipping to the point that I hardly had any nail polish on my nails and I was ignored. Then one technician suggested I go elsewhere rather than fix their poor skill set. The staff are rude, ignorant and unpleasant. I spent $50 to beautify my nails and after one week my nails looked down right disgusting.

Not sure who answers the phone there but their very rude . I had to ask if I’m calling the right place because of how she answered the phone I thought I dialed the wrong number. Not going to give my money to people who can’t even answer the phone correctly . I get we’re in NY but atleast try to be polite or DONT work in customer service .

The lady who did my nails rushed them and then she painted it fast and didnt get the whole nail. All i needed was something for the week so this did the trick, but definitly not worth the money if you want beautiful nails.They reuse disposable nail filers which can cause nail infections and they do expect a tip, even when they do a bad job they will stare you down for that tip.

Never again. Hot air dryers?? Thought they were supposed to be cold to dry nails??!!!. Never again. Sigh

Helen is very good for manicures, I have been going to her for years,as recommended by a very trusted friend. My pedicures are great as well.

For the price you pay for a pedicure... You would think you get a descent polish. The lady that did my feet was horrible. She was very rough on my feet and the polish job was crapy. I can polish my own feet and it will look better than what she did... I miss Brooklyn nail salons. I would never go back.

Went here on a whim and the technician cut too deep on my toe and I got a infection. The nail tech cut away at the cuticle on my pinky until that got infected. Both had to be treated with antibiotics. Highly annoyed. Never went back.

Had went here randomly after getting my hair done. That was my first and last time going to that place. I asked for acrylic set, and a simple glitter ombre. First of all the male who did my acrylic did them way too thick and uneven, then to top it off i gave him a picture of how i wanted my nails to look. In the end my nails came out horrible, i had to go to another salon to have them fix what he messed up on. The only good thing that came out of it was my pedicure, i do not approve of them recycling flip flops. They dont even use real soap for the pedicure, they use Dove shampoo to clean your feet, recycled sponges and all. Its quite disgusting. After the pedi is done, they go into a box and take a pair of used flipflops and put them on your feet. You are expected to return the flip flopa before you leave. These flip flops are not the foam disposable ones that you find at other salons either. I think this place is super unsanitary. Over all i left unhappy and I will not be returning.

Expensive. My mom went here even though I told her the Bronx one I go to is better priced. These people charge for everything.

There is one lady in particular that they should fire because she does not know how to do nails at all. They charge so much for a lousy job. And they used the “your finger is crooked excuse”
