I gave them 3 stars based on service. I had a Brazilian sugaring done by Ms. Gabby and she was wonderful! Super attentive and informative. No matter how many times I get it done it is always awkward to get undressed in front of a stranger 🥰🤣🤣. I didn’t rate them 5 stars because the step stool I used to get up on the table was FILTHY! It made me slightly nervous because if your step stool isn’t clean then what does that say in general about your sanitation process? Only Gabby would bring me back but definitely worth a visit 😊

Candice is great!!! Attentive and listens to wants and needs. She made me feel comfortable and cared for properly. I will only go to her and follow her wherever she may go:)

No bells and whistle but it’s affordable and gets the job done. Gabby is great.7/31/21-Gabby no longer works here. Another girl Maddie? Did my wax. It was absolutely horrible. She went over the same places 5-6 times and I was left with wax all over. I even had wax on my calf somehow. Once I got home I realized only the top area was completely waxed. The hair down between my legs looks untouched. She said they were having problems with the wax and that my hair was too short. She knew both of these things before she started and could have suggested coming back another time.

Went to an appointment and was late by 7 minutes unfortunately due to traffic on 635 highway. I came in, no one was at the receptionist desk. I stood there and waited patiently cause there was a sound on the door when I walked in. Waited patiently for a few more minutes, still no one came. So I decided to go through the opening of the hallway and just say hello to see if anyone was there. Finally someone came out to assist me. The receptionist had told me the waxing person wasn’t in yet and didn’t know if they were even coming in today. I was appalled. She then told me that I was also past the 5 minute late policy. I was never told of the 5 minute late policy when I booked over the phone but I was only late by 2 minutes due to traffic in the Dallas area, which is usually heavy in the mornings. She recommended I’d reschedule due to me being late and the wax technician not even being there. Would not recommend

This is my first time here & Valerie was amazing! She was kind & professional and made me feel very comfortable.

Great atmosphere but getting a hold of someone to make an appointment is always challenging and for some reason I can’t make an appointment online which would be very convenient for me as a busy mom!

I knew I wouldnt make the appointment scheduled so I attempted to call the location a total of 6 times to reschedule or give an ETA!!! 6 times!!! Nobody ever answered. So I drove 45 minutes and arrived 7 minutes past my appointment time. 7 minutes!!! I was refused service because it was after the 5 minute grace they allow, which was not stated at the time of booking nor on confirmation email. I was excited about what was supposed to be my first ever experience. Maybe another company will do.

I went in to have my legs done.. A young lady named Gabby was so wonderful. She took care of everything very professional.. job well done and in timely manner as well

I went here to get my first ever Brazilian on Friday and the experience was wonderful! My hair was at uneven lengths around the bikini area due to me shaving real quick to go to the pool, so my water told me to come back after a few days to get a touch up, free of charge! I went back today and am so happy! Thank you Asia! Youre so kind and easy to talk to and youve made my experience so comfortable! Will definitely be coming back!

I booked 2 week in advance for my appointment. Received a confirmation call the day before my appointment. As I’m in my Lyft about to arrive in 5 mins I get the call that my technician isn’t available and won’t get serviced. Soooo inconvenient for me as I have plans to go out of town tomorrow .I did all the correct steps to get waxed. I BOOKED AND CONFIRMED APPT. Very unprofessional. I suggest this place get its employees together. Bad business. I suggest booking elsewhere otherwise you’ll be booking to be not serviced at all . Such a disappointment!!! Inconvenient & waste of my time!!! No regards for its guest at all. ZERO STARS!!!

Please save your money by not coming to this place! They have horrible scheduling and communication. Every time i showed up for my appointment WITH an appointment card they would try and reschedule me because they are running behind or they can’t see me because the esthetician was moved to the Plano store and would fail to call prior to my appointment. They always have an excuse and schedule your follow ups with the worst attitude. Go to European wax center this place is trash!!!!

I was a little blue making my appt to see Christine for the first time. Her sense of pride and wanting to make sure I left feeling better than when I came won me over. She made sure I was comfortable and happy with the results.

Terrible experience. I went in for a Brazilian and full leg. I have not been waxed in over a year and my last shave was 3.5 weeks ago (I have been getting waxed over the last seven years and this has never been an issue).We started with the Brazilian and had probably only done three or four strips when she could not remove the wax and had to have another waxer come in and rip one strip of wax off of me in chunks. I did not go through with the rest of what I asked for. I left swollen, hairy, and in pain. Would not recommend if it was the last wax spot on planet earth.

The work done was quality work!I just have never been so uncomfortable in being repeatedly told that it’s been a significantly long time since my last wax (trust me, I am well aware). And being continuously told to hold and pull my stomach fat/lumps out of her way? (in the most awkwardly aggressive way). She would tell me I’m not pulling my stomach high enough for her and get frustrated to the point where she would grab my hands and show me how to hold my own fat. I’m thick but my stomach is not big enough to the point where it’s covering the area she needed to work in. So I was confused. I’ve been waxed and sugared many times before and have never been directed like so.We ended up connecting at the end, I would just never go back.

My Girlfriend had an appointment and they called HER and changed her appointment for later. THEY CALLED HER! She agreed to help them out due to THEIR Poor scheduling. When she was a couple minutes late due to traffic because they asked HER to change the appointment, they refused to take her. Thats beyond ridiculous. People who own businesses need to understand that they are in business to serve the customer, not the other way around. To make matters worse, they didnt even have her appointment correct in what she asked for. I know some people will have good experiences here and thats OK, Hers however was not stellar. I just wish that people who run businesses would offer the type of service they would expect if they were a customer somewhere else.

Called 4 different times, never got an answer or call back

Quick and inexpensive for the amount of waxing done. I had a great service although left with some wax on my skin on different areas, but I always shower afterwards anyway. I didnt have any reaction or displeasure. If waxing, just expect pain, even if you take a couple of advil or tylenol tabs before your wax appointment, but at least itll be a bit less painful. Their simple, cute and clean place in Richardson was a little tricky to locate, just look closely for the sign. Its a small climb down the stairs from the sidewalks in front of parking. Also, should mention the lady who did my service was nice and flexible allowing me to have my baby in the room (Im her only caregiver while her dad is at work and have no local friends or family to leave her with). The spa music music was soothing to my baby, too. I highly recommend them for punctuality, customer service, quality and affordability.

I like the flexibility and ease of scheduling. I normally call them the day of and they are able to fit me me in within and hour or less. I’ve only gotten Brazilian waxes. The ladies are very personable and I always feel at ease. I’ve been waxing for a while, so I’ve grown accustomed to the pain (which lessened with every wax I got). I don’t use a specific woman. I just go to whoever is available at the time (but that also influences how much I like my wax). I’d say the was jobs rate from decent-excellent depending on the aesthetician. I haven’t had a bad wax with them. All in all, I continue to patronize this establishment. I would show pics, but it’s a Brazilian wax, so I can’t. Try them out!

Absolutely love this place! I’ve never felt so welcome and comfortable getting a wax. Jazmin did my Brazilian for me and she made sure it was as painless as a wax can be lol. It was so easy to book and the woman on the phone was willing to work with both their busy schedule and mine. I will definitely be coming back here in the future!

I know it may be hard to believe but Mecca really made my experience painless. I have had waxing other places and this time I tried out the sugaring and it really was great. Really pleased and will be going back for all my waxing needs. Best of all they have reasonable prices too.

I’m giving 2 stars because the ladies are really sweet and have good customer service but as far as my waxing goes, I got my underarms done on 5/8/2018 and had hair growth 2 days later. The whole point was not to have to shave on my trip to Miami! As far as the bikini wax, poorly done... There were patches that didn’t get waxed and the lines and everything was so uneven but I didn’t say anything because I was just ready to leave at that point! I still tipped and went about my way... I can’t say I will return again...

I’ve been coming here for little over 5 months. I set my appointments three weeks out because i have a busy work schedule. I received a call yesterday about my appointment and I told the receptionist that if I have to reschedule I will give them a call. Well today I call to confirm my appointment that I set three weeks ago to find out it was canceled and given to someone else yesterday . I never asked for my appointment to be canceled. I was given a option to come in at 5pm today with a 5 min late grace period which is impossible because I leave work at 5pm exactly why I book my appointments in advance. None of the appointments offered fits my schedule for this week so I will be having to find a another wax spa last minute to fit me in which is a huge inconvenience because I am going on vacation Friday. I won’t be returning because of the lack of empathy I have received for this inconvenience today.

Also saw this response from them and that is no way to respond to a customer! Poor customer service. Everything should be handled professionally.

Very professional. The sugaring was a nice first time experience. The pain level was the same as the wax. Wanted to reschedule but I had some small bumps a couple of days after. Im not sure if its me or the wax.

Please do not let all these good reviews fool you. I came to this salon a month ago because of the great reviews and because all the EWC salons were booked up. The waxer tore off my skin so I left a review. Then the owner gave me an ultimatum if I wanted a refund. She made me delete my review or I would not get refunded. I requested that she call me and she never did so I’m posting this. It’s been 4 weeks and I still haven’t fully healed so I need to leave this review because I don’t want anyone else going through the same thing. My waxer said my hairs were too fine(no other wax salons have said this) and started going over the area many times and any professional waxer knows you can’t keep going over an area. She stopped when I said something but it was too late. I was bleeding and my skin was inflamed. I still had not realized the extent of what had happened because I was so red so I later called and got a refund. I had to stay home for 2 weeks because clothing touching me hurt. Go to another salon!!! The waxer was not trained and the owner is extremely unprofessional. You would be better off getting waxed at a nail salon.

A couple of things really bugged me.1. I was scheduled for a morning on a weekend. It seemed like I was the only one there but there were people just hanging out in the lobby. One individual asked another what the WiFi password was of the place. I don’t think that’s very professional.2. I went in for a sugaring. The specialist who with me was kind and professional. But the room temperature was so warm I was breaking out sweating. The sugar flicks went all over the room... even landed on my clothes and phone which were a couple feet away. I’ve been sugared before and that was very unusual.3. I wasn’t cleansed properly afterwards. When I cleansed myself at home, I found several patches of hair that were not removed.I think the whole time I kept thinking to myself, “this heat + open pores will give me ingrowns and I’m probably going to break out.” And that’s what happened a couple days later.

First time waxing, great experience very professional . They made me feel really comfortable, definitely going back!!! ☺️
