This is the first google review I have ever left, as never in my life have I thought this is so egregious, I need to warn other people. The haircut felt rushed and was uneven; I came in with long hair and explicitly said to take no more than an inch off on top, and I left with it so short I need to put wax in it for it not to stick up. The one good thing was that it was only $20. That being said, Id pay another $20 just to have the hair that I had before this cut. If you want anything other than a buzz, go somewhere else.

Best shave I ever had

Im new around the area so thought I would find whatever is rated well on Google. The guy who did my shave lacks skill with the blade and I ended up with various minor cuts on my neck. Not worth 20$ or even 10$ .

Its a haircut at good prices. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars is it is cash only. Although no credit cards is probably how they keep the cost down a little.

Ive been going to get my haircut here for over 10yrs. Cant imagine going anywhere else. The service, friendliness, and value are great. Theyre very thorough and yet quick. I recommend to call several hours ahead of time to reserve your spot as they can get quite busy.

Efficient, good price, good quality. I’ve gotten cuts with Sam, Nick, and Beck, they’ve all done great jobs. Beck especially does a very good job with skin fades (which is very tough to find in this area, I tried multiple barbers when I moved here) and it’s always super quick.

I very rarely write a review but wanted to write a quick note about Levi and team. Have been getting my hair cut here with Levi for more than 5 years and am very impressed with the service. Best place for a quick haircut in downtown (have tried a lot of places before this!). Top notch attention to detail and consistent to the point where I havent requested the type of hair cut I need in a very long time. I just show up every three weeks and Levi knows exactly what needs to be done. What more can you ask for!

I work downtown and have been coming to this barber shop since the day they opened. Levi runs a great shop - All of the barbers are courteous, patient and friendly. There always seem to be just enough barbers working to ensure short wait times. But most importantly, you get a consistent great haircut at a reasonable price every time. If I could give Levi and his guys 6 stars, I would.

Wonderful Barber shop. All the barbers are on point, very pleasant, and always curtious to the patrons. They greet everyone with a hello and ask you if youd like a seat while you wait. You can call in advance and schedule your time which is a great help. I highly recommend them if your in the downtown area and need a cut.

Levi and the barber shop are super professional and expert barbers. Its a pleasure to go to the Barber Shop as they are always courteous, on time and friendly. The haircut, beard trim is always done to perfection and never an issue about looking good!

Cheap, fast, clean cut. I was suspicious at first but I got better quality than many other barber shop around the city. I got charged less than $20, including tips. A price I hardly see anywhere else. If you don’t mind the environment, those guys seem to know what they are doing.

I’ve been to this place about 5 times. The quality of the haircuts have been good.However, my biggest compliant is the cleanliness of this barber shop. They don’t clean off the clippers from the previous person. They also don’t clean the floor. So you are stepping in other people’s hair and are at risk of succeeding someone with dandruff and the clippers haven’t been cleaned.The service isn’t as great as people are making it out to be in my opinion. The service is just okay.Overall it’s a cheap price and a good cut, but I’m a little grossed out by the cleanliness of the barber shop.

Levi runs a great barbershop with excellent customer service. I always like to get cuts from a shops owner and Levi is a skilled barber. Even one time when he wasnt available, he made sure one of the other barbers knew my regular cut and was already prepared to give me exactly what I wanted without asking. Terrific $17 haircuts! Located in the lobby but just expanded to a satellite location on the 6th floor. Call ahead to see if theyre busy; theyll save a chair for you. All the barbers are good. In and out in 15 mins.

Took my son here while we were exploring the Financial District. He thought he was a big shot. Staff was nice, they got him right in. These guys also do watch repair so it was kind of busy. Reasonably priced, would go back if given the opportunity.

If you know what you want then these guys do reliably good work, quickly, and for the right price. I have gone after and before work and never spent more than 30 minutes total there, including wait time. The cuts are professional but the vibe is casual. Hot neck shave after the cuts over is a bonus!

Been coming here since Lev first opened this place up. Everyone is accomdating and friendly and it is amazing that they have kept their prices so low given the fact that they are located on the first floor of prime real estate. As long as they are still in business and Lev is still the owner, they will be the only barber shop I ever go to.

Ive been going to Russ for about four years now. I started coming here when I worked in the financial district, after having been disappointed with a handful of barber shops in the area. Haircuts are reasonably priced, and the service is quick and efficient. If you call in advance to book an appointment, you can be in and out in about 15-20 minutes max. Theyre all good guys to BS with, and the business is well run. Even after moving to Midtown for work, I still come down here for a cut every few weeks.

Bek is truly the most amazing barbers i have visited in my lifetime! I hadna very hard time liking my hair at first (because it was very long prior) however, Bek did an awesome job and was very intricate and detailed in his job on my hair. Definitely a 10/10 for me! Would love to visit again when I am in New York again!

I walked in today at 1:27pm told Lev I’d have to be out by 1:55pm max, had to wait five minutes (in the chair with back massage 🤤), he gave me a great skin fade and I was out by 1:53. Great price, great costumer service!

My experience here was unbelievably great. Not only was I seated fast, but they made me feel like a regular and it was my first time there. The barber Russell cut my hair and did a fantastic job. He listened and was flat out skilled and very attentive to minor details that a lot of barbers miss. Also, Im black so obviously, my hair is different. This guy knew how to cut black hair. Im rather positive he could cut anyones hair. Also last couple things: the place is open until 7:30 and the cut was $15. This is an overall great spot to get your haircut.

This place just ruined six months of work to grow my beard out. I walked in for just a quick clean up on my beard. I clearly said a clean up trim and I took the time to point out how my beard fades into my hairline and the shape Ive been grooming. Not 10 second later the guy hacks into my beard with clippers and shaves out a chunk off my jaw. Really? He didnt even take the time to comb out the beard to see the shape and see how it had been growing out and trimmed in the past. The one plus was that it only cost me $7 (that I now will pay my regular guy $20 to fix and an hour of time I didnt have to spare).

I’ve gone here a couple times without incident. I went today and got a new barber that I had not previously recognized. He was extremely rushed with the clippers and worse, the razor. I am now sitting at my office with a bloody neck from his rush and mistakes. Beware of who actually cuts your hair here.

Had my hair cut by Artemis and Sam, they are both thorough and do a good job. Getting the neck line shaved with a straight razor is always nice to.
