This apartment community has a very nice garden, well maintained with flowers and nice big trees. There is an outside fitness area and with weights and stationary bikes, and a swimming pool. New apartment communities do not have such a nice and large garden. To maintain the garden, they are now using a new battery powered leaf blower which makes almost no noice. It is a big difference compared to gas powered leaf blowers and it is an advantage for working from home.
Have moved in for two weeks. Really love my new apartment! Quiet on the top floor, good sunlight, and a tree view. It has a nice and super convenient neighborhood. Walking distance to almost everything you need. The managers, Bryan and Michael, and the maintenance, Jose, are all so helpful and responsive.
This is the best place to live. Bryan and Michael are incredibly responsive and great to work with. The building has been renovated and the apartments are super nice. It is also within walking distance to safeway, whole foods, and trader joes. The maintenance team works incredibly hard and keeps everything in tip top shape! On top of all that, people who live here and generally respectful of others and it is quiet. We love it here!
This apartment is a wonderful place. I can walk to San Antonio shopping center for 5 minutes, there are some supermarkets, like Trader Joes, Safeway, Walmart, and Sprouts. Also there are USPS, CVS, and Starbucks. Furthermore, I could find nice restaurants around the apartment, the Chinese restaurant chefs Chu, ice cream shop, and the cake shop Lady M.Stanford University is 20 minutes by bicycle from this apartment. The room is very clean, no dead space, very large kitchen, comfortable bathroom, and its even north-west side room, nice sunshine to the room. The air conditioner is working every night. The manager Bryan and the team members are very kind, quick response, helpful, and friendly. The laundry room is always clean, the sanitary engineer is a great person. In this apartment there is a very nice garden, the flowers are always very beautiful and they care about them. In the rose season, it looks like a rose garden. And the pool and Jacuzzi is amazing! I could feel California on this pool side, with a wonderful blue sky. The high palm trees in the garden are very nice, I could even see the palm trees from the El Camino real road too. I also enjoyed a BBQ in the garden, there is a nice patio.During the Pandemic, the apartment team renovated a part of the garden for the outside training area. I could use two spin bikes (Up-light bikes), a lot of dumbbells and benches (for weight training). I used them everyday.A few weeks from now, there will be a yoga space with a water fountain in the garden.I had a nice time in this apartment!<日本語>このアパートは素晴らしい場所にあります。
Had a fabulous experience with Bryan, the property manager of Palo Alto Plaza. He showed us the place several times and answered all of our questions including during the application process. The place is very clean and has beautifully renovated apartments with a gorgeous landscape and great amenities.
I recently moved from the east coast and upon having the tour with Michael, I instantly decided to go with Palo Alto Plaza. The management has been super friendly and helpful. There were almost no move in issues (except for a small maintenance request which was taken care of the next day by Martin, amazing guy!) Definitely much higher value/$ than most places in the area
I feel really lucky to finally find Palo Alto Plaza Apartments. The leasing office and its staff Michael and Bryant are very helpful and considerate all the time. They listen to tenants opinion and seriously take actions to meet requests. I would like to express my appreciation to them for their being supportive in making my life in this community a pleasant experience.
Decent quality apartments. Staff is hit or miss. Either very pleasant or rude and abrasive.
This is a comfortable place to live in. We lived and raised our family here for 10 years. The kids have learned to swim in the pool, and we had a lot of parties at the BBQ place (back when we could have parties). The garden is gorgeous and very well maintained, and the staff replies to requests promptly. Highly recommended.
We lived in Palo Alto Plaza for a year before moving out of state, and totally loved the place! They are great at using the space, with no dead space in rooms. So we felt the rooms were more spacious than the square feet shows. They are good at using colors and furniture in common areas and design the areas comfortably. We especially loved the hub and the gym. And more than anything, the management and the maintenance teams are exceptionally great. They were friendly and responsible from day one and throughout our living there, which made us feel at home always. They are quick in responding to whatever maintenance requests, and thus we have never experienced any issue. I have never seen such a great team who make the residents feel so comfortable like they do. If I will be back in the area again, I will definitely go back to Palo Alto Plaza. It is the very best apartment weve ever lived in!
I moved last weekend to this amazing property and I can’t believe how lucky I was to find it. I searched for over 6 weeks and nothing convinced me until I toured at Palo Alto Plaza, I knew that would be the right place to live in. Now, after having moved in, I confirm that living here is like paradise. Super quite and respectful community, I like its pet-free since I am allergic and everything is kept beautifully organized and clean. The managers are at the top quality level, specially Michael (that I dealt with more often), who would respond to any inquiry or issue within minutes and in a very friendly way! Never have seen this before. There were a few minor things to do at my apartment to make me feel more comfortable and Jose (maintenance guy) came in the exact the same day I asked for help and he solved everything very quickly and professionally. The junior apartment is perfect for one person, super new and remodeled with plenty of storage space and there is every detail to make you feel like at home. The swimming pool, hot tub and gym are always clean, readily available and quite empty although now can be used without reservation. The views from my apartment facing interior on the third floor are so beautiful, and peaceful. I work at Stanford and the commuting is also very beautiful compared to my previous apartment. I love is all green and passing by the Stanford dish and only takes 12-13 min by car.I could not have lived better and happier anywhere else! this is the place to be! I also explored the area and went running and its perfect! so quiet and nice neighborhood and shopping area just a few minutes by walk! Everyone living here is very nice and happy and what I like the most, very quiet! Stop searching, trust me, this is the best place to live! I am honest, nobody told me to write this, I just hope that everyone who reads this believes my words, you won’t regret it!
The room is nice and cozy as well as public space is always clean and comfortable. Mangers and stuff are friendly and response is so quick. Its the best place to live for both family and single.
My husband and I absolutely loved living here for the past 5 years! We moved into a newly remodeled unit and have enjoyed the amenities that are well maintained (pool, jacuzzi, gym, putting green, yoga decks, etc.). I will say the staff here do an excellent job not only maintaining the property, but also regularly doing renovations (new fountains, replanting trees/flowers, adding new amenities, etc.).This is also an excellent location as its right across the street (and walkable!) to Safeway, Trader Joes, Target, UPS, and lots of restaurants (Chef Chus, Pho Vi Hoa, Sushiko, Mizu Sushi, Esthers German Bakery, Armadillo Willys, etc!), but is also located in a safe neighborhood with Monroe Park and a playground just down the street! We will definitely miss this place (moving to a large place) but highly recommend it to future tenants!
This apartment is very clean and well organized. The garden is very beautiful. You can see a lot of flowers and plants all year. Bryan, the manager, is very kind and responded quickly when I contacted him. Jose and the staff work carefully and so nice. The residents are also very friendly. Recently, the gym was renewed. There are two apartment entrances and San Antonio Shopping Center is a short walk away. We often went to the restaurant there by walk.
The apartment is newly renovated and well kept. Management is responsible and helpful. They have a very nice garden and swimming pool which looks like a resort hotel. The hallway is clean and I saw the staff changing new carpet for it. Maintenance is quick and efficient. We called for clogged sink and got it fixed the same day. Plenty of gated parking lots.
We are having a great time at the Palo Alto Plaza Apartments. Really good apartment complex if raising a family or if you are a working professional trying to take launch your tech career. The amenities are great, along with nearby neighbors. I would recommend these apartments to anyone seeking to find a nice, quiet, and productive place (especially if working from home). The two managers Indira and Bryan have been wonderful. They are really nice, thoughtful, and they help solve our problems. Location, its the best. We are in fact one block away from the corner of San Antonio and El Camino, but because the property is facing away from these major roads, we dont hear the street noise. We are no more than 10 mins drive from the downtown areas of Mountain View, Los Altos and Palo Alto and are near stores like Whole Foods, Trader Joes and a lot of nice restaurants. Sometimes I can hear my neighbors, but nothing too noisy. Pretty good choice to live at in comparison to others I think.
I went to tour this community and the managers are so nice! They really went above and beyond in showing me the apartment and the beautiful courtyard! Would definitely recommend!!
Moved in 6 months ago and love it here. Got a job at the best company in the world wide web and appreciate the attention that management provides here whenever I have a maintenance problem. I like the security features and the fitness area. highly recommend.
UPDATE: Since writing this review, the neighbor across our apartment had their place broken into and things have gone missing from my partners bike. They have yet to make any security changes and claim a camera is useless but have one in the mail room. Its not safe and management doesnt care. Check the reviews on multiple review sites, its been a problem for over 10 years. No security + multiple thefts and they wont do anything. My bike was stolen from inside locked property grounds and their solution was for me to pay more money for a locker. If people can come in with tools to cut locks, its not much of a jump to think they can do far worse things.
The lease here has some outside of the ordinary requirements in its details, and I have rented from 7 different companies before this. Leases are usually not great but this was odd. Just read it carefully before signing and do not sign a pre-rental/hold agreement without seeing the actual lease. You will lose your hold money if you cant agree to the terms. Its not typical for them to show you the lease along with the hold agreement so you must ask for it. You live, you learn. If they had been helpful about this by promptly responding etc then I probably would have avoided this review, but they werent great at callbacks or helping along the way. Aside from this, theres a chance this is a perfectly appropriate place for many to live.
After I have been living here for 9 months, its time to make a longer review. First of all. Its just a nice place to stay. The location is perfect with tranquility and yet close to shopping and restaurants. The two guys in the office are always friendly, helpful and you are greeted with a smile. If there is something wrong there is always an answer right away. In terms of rental contract, there is nothing to put a finger on. Everything is transparent and you feel safe. The place itself is quiet and peaceful. An amazingly beautiful garden and pool and there is always neat and clean everywhere. There are constant gardeners and everything is in great condition. You feel safe here as it is a secure calm gated community. Even outside the condo you feel safe at night. If you need help fixing, the service people are very friendly and always on the spot to help.Joint events are held twice a year. There could be more participants. But I still really like it and it means a lot for those who attend. I think if they made it as just non-committal and unformal that more people would joint over time. There are many singles living here and it could be like a bring your own beverages the first Friday every second months. Then it doesent requiere a lot of efforts from the management. It could be worth a try to create a little more social life and vibes. One last thing, it could be nice if there were a closed facebook group for the residents, so they could communicate between and also arrange things like the unformal friday bar or sell stuff. Also if someone need to borrow anything it could be a great help. Specially for new people who just moved in.Overall, I am extremely pleased to live here.
If youre applying from out of town, after submitting the online application for ~$35, they have this strict 24-hour turnaround window for a $400 physical check, money order, or cashiers check to be delivered physically to their office that is completely inflexible.Essentially, this makes it impossible to complete the application if youre physically not in Mountain View or know someone who can physically deliver the payment for you on your behalf. The bottom line is, if youre from out of town, you might want to consider saving yourself the hassle, headache, and frustration (not to mention the ~$35 online application fee) from dealing with this trap--I wish I did--and look elsewhere.
Ive been touring a lot of apartments in Mountain View and Palo Alto and the majority of everything you see is old and overpriced or new and overpriced. It was a real downer until I toured Palo Alto Plaza. It was so good to know that there are places where you can get a tour and the staff actually answer the phone!! I just had to give this place props because I had such a great experience. The building is all renovated and really well kept and clean. THe neighborhood is near el camino and super close to all the things you need. The person that I toured with (Brian) took his time to show me around and answered all my questions. Best place Ive seen so far!
No security and staff does nothing. Hope your renters insurance is good.
This apartment perpetually smells. It always smells like paint. The management keeps renovating the apartments without ventilating the hallways or stairwells. The management is cutting corners by not properly ventilating our buildings. I highly recommend looking else where if you have small children. This paint smells are so strong and overpowering.
Very helpful staff, dead-simple online application, and transparent terms and processes.
This is the place you want to be if you work in Mountain View or Palo Alto. It has everything you want with great management and service. Neighbors are usually engineers working in nearby IT companies.
