Always a pleasant experience at Willies! He did the brakes all the way around, tire rotation, and found a noise thats been driving me nuts for over a year! I took in my car to get two separate noises looked at as one was previously attributed to the brakes which did not go away after another mechanic had replaced all brakes. Both noises were localized and promptly fixed within hours for a very reasonable price. Other maintenance concerns were brought up for future consideration but nothing was pushy or salesy. Excited to have a smooth, noiseless ride again. Highly recommend these guys; very knowledgable.

My husband got a screw in his tire 30 min into our 12 hour drive to indiana. While willies couldn’t help us immediately since they would need to order a tire, they sent us to a tire shop down the road. They did not have to do that, they could have made us wait hours for the order to come in, but they didn’t. Kind people who clearly care about those around them rather than just the money

Great service. I couldnt get the car started. They traced the problem to a broken wire, then repaired it. No new parts required. The car runs great now. Best of all he didnt try to up-sell me like at the dealer. I liked the service so well, I plan to return to buy tires there.

This establishment is what service used to be! I was here with an out of state visitors car that wasnt running well at all,after being turned away by others because they were too busy, the owner personally welcomed us, looked over the car, stated and printed all problems. He gave recommendations and predictions...he couldnt have called it any more accurately! I later approached with major problems with my daughters car...they worked with me above any of my expectations! I choose to get my tires and brakes done too because Im so confident with them and couldnt be any more comfortable approaching them about anything! Highly recommended! Great pricing! Clean and welcoming!

Had brakes done. Good price. Really nice guys. They finished everything quickly, took for a test drive, didn’t like the feel of the calipers, so they upgraded at no extra cost. Stayed late to finish. The experience was a Master Class in customer service.

The do a great job and are honest about their prices and what needs to be done. They could have done over 5k in with on my car without an issue. Instead he suggested bypassing the issue and getting rid of 4 wheel drive. Extremely high mileage car. 600 bucks later and I still have a good car that works perfectly.

Had a small oil leak that they found was a simple fix and also changed out my wiper blades and replaced a light bulb for me. Great vibes and a great spirit from the owner, his wife, and the young lady answering the phone. Willie seems to be a stand up guy, and I will be back there for all of my automotive needs for sure.

Ive heard many good things abut Willies since he opened here in Southbury, but never had the opportunity to do business with him. He replaced a battery in my Mercedes and was extremely fair with his price. Hes friendly, knowledgeable and provides a clean inviting environment. Not only that, but he provided details on an array of repair services that he offers and I never felt like I was being sold. Willie is the real deal and an asset to our community. All of our cars will now be serviced by Willies Automotive.

I was a customer of a large chain for a long time and got tired of the nonsense. The people here are beyond nice, offered me a ride home instead of waiting, but I went to the diner next door, price is more than fair for what they do on a basic oil change, they are honest, and they gave me a Veteran discount without even asking. This is the best place Ive been to as far a local mechanic.

We are new to Southbury and I was worried about finding a new place for auto repair that I could trust. I had heard great things about Willies and loved how they offered up their shop as a refuge to the community after the large storms that we had this past Summer. You will find no better mechanic or business person than Willie. My car started over heating with my 3 young children in the back seat. I called Willie’s shop and they told me to bring it in right away. Willie immediately diagnosed the issue and had it fixed within a day. I coasted (literally) into this shop at 4:59 PM on a Saturday with a dead alternator in a 17-year old vehicle, but they were able to get my vehicle back up and running by noon on Monday. I cannot say enough about the great people at this shop. Thank you again.

Ive been around cars my entire life and I know a lot myself. Willies Automotive is the real deal. Willie himself is such a nice guy and a straight shooter. If you need something not only is he going to tell you what it is, but he will tell you why and with pictures to boot. Not to mention he wants to make sure that you have every understanding of what is being done to your car and what youre expected to pay. I appreciate the transparency greatly. More than anything, though, I appreciate that Willie speaks to me about cars without the assumption that I dont know anything about them. And, the best thing is that if you actually dont know a thing about cars Willie and Chris will educate you in a way that doesnt make you feel dumb for not knowing in the first place. I ended up going to Willies based on someones recommendation on a facebook page. Yesterday I had gone to Valvoline for an oil change and they said I needed a new serpentine belt, but they couldnt unscrew it because the screw/nut was too rusty. I checked out Willies Automotives web site first and read some reviews and called them this morning. They took me immediately, Willie himself met me, introduced himself, shook my hand. Vanessa in the front office was super friendly and nice. Both were very informative. Willie will work with you, tell you exactly whats wrong, what can wait to be fixed, and he is not pushy. I am so, so impressed by this place, I highly recommend them! I will be going back next week to get badly needed tires. They also have a free warranty, coffee, soda, and water - and snacks. They offer rides to the locals. And theyre right on Main Street South in Southbury, a great, great town. My 25 minute drive there was well worth it!
