My wife and I lived here at Gemello for 6 years in one of the 2 bed / 2 bath units. We loved this place a lot, and still cherish our fond memories of our time here.Loved the well-maintained grounds with beautiful trees and calm walkways. We felt like we were coming back to a lovely secluded oasis every day after work. Even though the property is conveniently right next to busy El Camino Real, we didnt hear the road noise at all from inside our unit. Great location close to both the San Antonio Mall and downtown Mountain View, with easy access to freeways. Quiet neighbors and very responsive property manager (Marti is top notch!).Honestly, I have almost no negative comments about Gemello. The only minor issues were some odd architectural design features of our units layout (the dining space was in an awkward corner) and the somewhat high rent (but, hey, its Mountain View). These were definitely not show-stoppers though.We moved out only because we finally bought our own place elsewhere. But if we had continued renting, wed have loved to stay at Gemello indefinitely. Two thumbs up!

Had the pleasure of signing a lease w Marti. Quick, open, and efficient. Moved in within 4 hours of initiating the application process. The Leasing Office responds quickly to emails whether its for inquiries or maintenance requestsMaintenance here works fast. All maintenance requests here have been completed on the same day.

Great living community, very well maintained with pool and a very responsive property manager.

We stayed in this place for over 2 years. The location is great -- close to Whole Foods and the San Antonio shopping center. The appliances are old and ventilation in the bed rooms is bad. The worst part of living here was the property manager. She is absolutely unprofessional and rude! She treats residents as if they are some freeloaders who should be ever thankful to her for letting them stay. She is making these arbitrary rules and finding newer ways to harass people. I get the feeling that the management company (DeAnza Properties) is completely out of the loop on the situation.Id say stay away from this place to keep your mental peace!

The manager is absolutely rude. She is a bad listener, and very unprofessional. She uses language which is very offensive.The apartment complex is otherwise very nice and the community is good, except for this bad apple. She does not deserve to be an administrator of such a nice apartment complex.

Does anybody ever answer the phone in this community? It is impossible to reach someone in the leasing office and I went to the property and the gate is closed during business hours. Plus they are closed on the weekends and it seems like they close at lunch time? Wow
