My first time getting a Brazilian Wax and I loved my experience! 💛 I felt comfortable with everything out in the open .. painful but went by fast and was worth it. Place was clean & new Highly recommend! Hopefully it gets easier with my next visits 🙂

Lindsey is great at waxing, she is the one who usually waxes me. She is a great conversationalist, takes her time, and makes sure it looks how you want it. Their products are amazing as well. I would recommend this place to all of my friends before any other wax center. :)

Let me start by saying that this was by far the worse customer service I’ve ever had! I tried this place since my normal place was unavailable. I called them from my job and told them that I’d be late and they said they would see what they could do. However, when I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes late, they refused to work with me and charged me full price still. I honestly don’t fault them for having a policy for situations where people carelessly miss appointments. Yet, my tardiness was due to working in the hospital with a critical patient that I refused to leave in a critical time of care. You’d expect a business to have some type of compassion for frontline workers and those sick in light of the last year we’ve all experienced with Covid. But that wasn’t the case at all! They wouldn’t allow me to reschedule. They wouldn’t allow me to use the remaining time available in my appointment slot (the place I normally go to can do a full Brazilian in the remaining time but this place wouldn’t even do bikini!). And they didn’t even attempt to show me that they valued me as a customer. But these are the type of situations that separate businesses that “for the community” and businesses that seemingly only exist for profit. I hope this was just an off day for their business but as stands I can’t recommend their services in good conscience.

Theyre a little more expensive than other places but its worth it. They take there time and do it right. If you want schedule last minute you can see any open times online and book it too. Plus they give free samples!

I canceled my subscription, you guys kept my money on the strength that I did not 30 days notice!! The manager said you guys canceled my subscription, and I didn’t have to worry about being charged for September and that’s all she could do but and yet I get an alert that you still taking out of my account!!! I called talk to manager, made a review that I did not like the service or products!! Why would you money hungry ppl keep taking money from me!!!! Bad business!!!

First timer here and Jeri P. is a beast with the services. She is professional and my services were completed perfectly. Staff up front was very friendly I appreciate there protocol for calling once arrive, so they can tell you when to come in so you go straight to your service room.

I got my first brazilian wax last week and my waxer was really friendly, did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and distracted me from the pain very well with conversation. My reason for the 3 star rating is because not only was I not asked if I wanted to re-book like the last customer I observed, I was not offered any after care instructions or products. Obviously I can look everything up online, but that doesnt seem like good service especially for it being my first time. Maybe this is normal Im not sure but for the amount of $ I spent (including tip)? I may find another place to try going forward.

I had an appointment this morning and I received very poor service from my esthetician. I arrived at the scheduled time and realized that I did not have a mask. The receptionist was very kind and tried to find a solution, but she had to uphold COVID Policies (I totally understood and understand that they have to protect everyone during a pandemic). So, I ran next door, grabbed a mask, and the receptionist allowed me to still get serviced. However, the esthetician provided terrible service. She barely spoke or even looked at me. I didn’t even know her name because she was so disengaged. In addition to the terrible customer service, I had several hairs left in different areas. The overall experience was poor, which is unfortunate because I was a regular at this location prior to the pandemic. I am hoping that the esthetician gets better training and guidance on customer service, so that customer don’t feel uncomfortable.

Service was awesome, if its your first time youre going to sweat depending on what youre having done the staff was amazing, kept me engaged the whole time

I took my very hairy 9 year old daughter here for an underarm wax. She hates pain, but she says she didnt even feel anything. The staff was extremely friendly and the establishment was clean and welcoming. We are definitely customers!!! I highly recommend this place!!!

I went in the first time and I Still had patches. I was okay at first but it just took forever and the pain was the worse I ever experienced while getting a wax. But the most disappointing part is I still have areas that wasn’t even touched. So I decided to go back and pick someone new to clean up the missed areas and get it done correctly and the results were amazing! Thank you Adrienne for a wonderful experience. Awesome convo and made me feel comfortable. I’m not the one to let one experience ruin my feelings towards a place. I will be back!

Great service. If you do get the first time promo it is only per wax order. I thought it was the full order which was kinda like duh shouldve figured that out. Jeri was sweet nice and made everything go fast.

I have been here twice and have good experiences both times. Scheduling is easy and you can even do it through their website. Staff is kind and welcoming.The second time I went I didnt like the shape of my brows as much as the first but I think that is more just preference. I know now that I will just stick with the same person each time.

I recently went to waxing the city for a bikini and under arm wax. Kate was absolutely amazing!! I was extremely nervous as it was my first bikini wax. She made me feel at ease immediately and I knew I was in good hands. You can tell she enjoys waxing and said its like art to her. Which I noticed because she was really clean and neat. Didnt even leave 1 stray hair on my under arms. The wax here is also like none other. I have thick hair and my skin can be sensitive. After my wax my skin was soft and had no irritation. I highly recommend booking with Kate!! Everyone was really friendly and Ill be coming back for all my waxing needs!

Since July, I have been going to Waxing the City for Brazilians and just tried the lash lift provided by Adrienne. Adrienne is extremely personable and makes you feel at ease. My lashes have never looked better and I’m in love!

I had the most fantastic experience at Waxing The City-Indianapolis. Very friendly service and customer-focused, family owned place. My experience here was beyond great. The girl Jeri did my wax and was super nice and very personable. She really got all the hairs and suggested that I used the tend skin which was a little stingy but made it feel like it was doing something. The whole place was super nice and I will be back!.

I was waxed by Samantha Ray and it was a great experience! I had never been waxed before and was a little apprehensive and had a lot of questions. Samantha was so kind and funny that I felt immediately comfortable there and she answered all of my questions! I will definitely be going back there again for appointments with her! Edit: went back a second time and Im always out of town so cant keep regular waxing appointments, this time I couldnt book with Sam, as she was already booked and this was last minute and I had a horrible experience this time! Im pretty sure the girl I had was on drugs, and I had to keep reminding her what all came with my service and she still didnt wax everything, waste of money! Since my schedule is so last minute, and I never know when I will be back in town to schedule regularly with Sam, I wont be visiting here again, but if you can schedule regularly, I would suggest to book with Sam.Beautiful little waxing salon. They have quite a bit of products that you are able to purchase, I didnt get any at that time, but I will definitely go back and purchase a few things. Came for the first time and had Sam. She was great, and we just talked the entire time while she was waxing me. She was very knowledgeable and gave me valuable information. It wasnt too painful, and I have a very low tolerance to pain lol, and it went pretty quickly for a brazilian and underarms. I was silky smooth when finished. It seems like they always have discounts or promotions going on, I will definitely be going back!

My first visit was great minus the receptionist, it seemed as though I was bothering her by trying to get a wax. This would have been a five star review if not for....I presecheduled a wax the recommended time out. When I arrived at 2:45 I was informed that my waxer was out... again not a HUGE problem, but why didnt anyone call or text me? The real problem was the lady at the desk was beyond unapologetic, didnt seem to care that I drove 30 minutes for a wax. Then claimed that they texted me but they didnt. No attempt at recovery or apology was made. Just a blank stare as if it was my fault for her lack of communication....Terrible.

This was my first time ever being waxed, and i had a Brazilian wax done. I truly could not be happier! Kierra made sure i was comfortable and experienced as least amount of pain as possible. I already booked my next 2 appointments this one was SO great!! 10/10 recommend the full Brazilian wax with Kierra!

My favorite place to go!! I have super blonde eyebrows and I love getting them tinted. They also have new brow products that actually look good on my brows and that’s hard to find!! I have seen multiple of the staff members and they all do an amazing job with every service I’ve had done!

The Brazilian was fine, but still a bit spotty in places. Also had my brows done and they came out trimmed much thinner on one side than the other. I won’t be back.
