I’ve lived in a few different apartments all across the valley and this one has been one of the best so far after a couple months living here. For the price you get more square footage than nearby apartments with LOTS of storage for a one bedroom. I love the his and hers closets in the bedroom and the lovely well kept grounds. I do hear people at the pool and children playing in the afternoon but it is to be expected living in close quarters with other people and it doesn’t cause much of a bother compared to other places I’ve lived. I also love that these apartments have a washer/dryer included and although they are small it is so much better than having to go to a laundromat. Overall the staff has been pleasant and attended to my needs promptly, with one exception of an interaction my boyfriend had with one of the girls in the front (who I believe no longer works here) where she seemed a bit annoyed that he had come to give her a money order and ask about the gate opener. The only real qualms I could say would be the sliding glass door is a bit rickety and getting a replacement screen door that doesn’t have holes in it may be wishful thinking as they told me they were on backorder with no ETA. Lastly the cleaning service they use doesn’t do the best job as I had to do my own deep cleaning upon move in due to some food and splatter left in the kitchen on and in the cupboards and some pee in and around the toilet with a leftover sweeping pile with hair and a little tea candle in the corner of the bathroom. Not the hugest deal just worth mentioning so management is aware they may want to try a more thorough cleaning company. These are all fairly typical of any apartment I’ve rented so in my mind it just comes with the territory. I can say that I have not seen any ants or roaches so far and now would definitely be the time since it’s hot as hell outside so they definitely get a kudos from me there cuz everywhere I’ve lived in Vegas I have seen/had ants or roaches. Anyway if you’re looking for a solid apartment in a good location this is the spot! If all continues to go well we plan to stay here until we find a house to buy, which is hopefully after our first lease contract but if not we will be happy to stay here. I have lived here for 9 plus yrs. the neighbors we have now are, are extremely loud all day and night. I observe and they seem to to sell items out of of the apartment. Noisy all day and night. Loud music coming out of cars. I have pics and videos. Please put a stop to his at once. Send them him letter at apt. 2037 building 11 this is from the neighbors .

Lived in these apartments for 1 year and left. The office staff is rude, maintenance is AMAZING however. Maintenance is quick and gets job done fast. Please note these apartments have an ant problem that maintenance can never seem to fix. Neighbors are rude and have 3-5 cars per unit and management does absolutely nothing about it. 1/10 would not recommend for anyone who is looking for a respectful place with nice people.

Even after complying and etc with their strange contract. They whited it out after they handed me they keys and asked for more down. Will scam you. Read the contract carefully will rip you off on the fine print. As I was walking out. She rubbed in she can call someone else asap. Rude do not trust. shady. Pictures attached.

Look,I’m not trying to tell you how or where to spend your money.. but if you’re looking for affordable, safe, beautiful and close to everything living... THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.The ladies in the front office are soooo amazing to work with, and so patient through everything! Maintenance is so fast and reliable, they will come any time you call.As a new tenant of a few months now, it’s really nice to call this place home. Thanks for everything y’all do !! 💙💙💙

A member of the management team approached me without a mask. She came to my unit and when asked why she was not wearing one, she causally stated she had forgotten it. I personally felt that was rude and disgusting. Also unprofessional with COVID and all... Anyway she came to check in and I did express some noises Ive experienced but otherwise felt weird. She knocked not only on my door, but also my friends next door. She seemed overly nice and fake. Got a text from my neighbors who said she stood like a brick when they tried to take their husky out. Not sure what is happening. I think this place is full of problems. Neighbors even experienced water leaks on their ceiling and my man who lives above me had to call maintenance a bunch of times too. So clearly Im not the only one experiencing problems. Even at the office, she was not wearing a mask. Not sure of this persons name but she has red hair and works at the front.

They will take your money but claim nothing is their fault....It is extremely noisy at this place. Kids always screaming, and neighbors literally shouting on the lawn. Im moving out because of this. The few times Ive had a maintaince request. Some will show up, tell me why it isnt broken and never come back. Im moving out and today I learned the automatic payment system (they made me use) isnt run by them. They took a full months rent because I didnt cancel it. When I said isnt my notice of moving out the cancelation of that, they said. Oh we dont run that. You have to call them and see if theyll give you your money back. They also didnt have ANY OTHER contact number for that same system besides a buisness number that wasnt even working at 330 in the afternoon.

This apartment building really provided every quality my boyfriend and I have been looking for towards our new home. The environment is very clean, cute, and convenient. The manager is absolutely amazing and made our move in process as easy as possible. I feel so comfortable knowing we’ll be moving here soon and appreciate the help we’ve received, definitely would recommend to anyone !

Dont ever rent from this place they will lie to you. They will cheat you and steal your money. I wish I had read this review before I moved in. I cant tell you enough how the lies and your safety do matter. Do not move here if you want to keep your possessions intact. The gate is left open routinely and non residents come in and roam the property. Security is a joke and is not present on the property. You can find side gates that are taped open on the property. Move in at your own risk. Be warned!!! I will not change this review if you want to talk and give back money you took on the move out thats up to you. You were warned what would happen if you took money from me on my move out. I hope you dont give back any money so everyone can read what you did. Just you wait every day this up more people will know the truth. Scott

The only thing that I would really like is for them to take a look at a care of the apartments when you put in for complaints in my apartment where water drip down the terminal of the walls is like rotten and I have put in several complaints other than that the property is okay usually its clean but need to take better care of the dog being in the dog droppings all over but other than that I enjoy living here

I viewed all photos online and viewed the model before moving in... the girl in the office claimed the only difference in my apartment would be the carpet, layout and ceiling fans... now we move in and my fridge smelled of a dead carcuse which then smelled the whole apartment up. The garbage disposal didnt work, the washer and dryer are atleast 20yrs old and barely fit 2 bed sheets. The carpet is old and they didnt even freshly paint the walls. So now Im washing walls too. The floors creek loudly in the master bedroom(somethingis definitely broken under there), my shower is peeling... I really cant believe Im now stuck in this run down apartment for 15 months. These people who run these apartments should really be ashamed of themselves.

Ariel provided excellent customer service! She was knowledgeable, professional, and prompt with her communication both over the phone and through email. She even provided my husband and I with a facetime tour of two different units on the property. I am thankful for all of her help and I look forward to being a part of the community.

This property is so beautiful and the staff is always friendly and willing to help with whatever is needed. I have lived in some awful apartments before and this is by far the best customer service I have ever received. Mary Ann is THE BEST staff member who is always so welcoming to her residents. Highly recommend this complex! :)

Location. Location. Location. You just absolutely cannot beat it, especially for the price! Very reasonable, utilities and additional expenses are very fair and transparent. Mary Ann and Rebekah were full of energy and information and helped me out tremendously. 10/10 RECOMMEND.

Why does this place have no gate code? If you dont have a clicker youre gonna be waiting a long time for someone to open the gate

From late Maintenance, to cars being stolen, to homeless people sleeping in their Gym summerwinds is a affordable place, and thats all they are good for.

My roommate and I are interested in moving here and Maryann was so informative and is quick to respond. Were looking forward to making the arrangements in the future to live here. Looks like a beautiful community.

T started good Rebekah who works in the office was great! I was moving from Cali and she was great. Due to unforeseen events I had to move. I had one month till my lease expires and so I payed it even though I did not live there.... I signed the lease and so I have to... I called many times to ask when I should come hand the keys and my give the amount for my last payment. They kept saying three days before it expires you turn the keys and gave me the amount i owed.. I even confirmed it 48 hours prior! I went in with the amount I was told i owe but the Manager said I owed 40 dollars more. I had taken off work to get it done she then told me if I brought the 40 the next day i would be charged fees! So I drove across the way and got the 40 money order! I confirmed again with the Manager and the other person who works there and was told i owed nothing. I was also informed i would receive my deposit for the gate opener we have up to 30 days I thanked them and rushed back to work. Few weeks later I received a bill of 11 dollars. So now I am down the 35 and still owed 11? Really? And if and when they answer the phone (which is rare) the stupid excuses started... ohhh can you send us proof you payed the 40 then it was well its on the ledger but you still owe 46 so yes day after day I called but had to resort to e mail... SO i had to go dig these receipts which i sent them, and after the apologies for the late response... it continued... Oh yes but the computer did not add.. they did not account for and you still owe...So a case of incompetence or theft or stupidity??? They are terrible miss management dirty place!!!! I never wanted to say anything but that was the last straw.... I moved in kids pants on the dryer broken fan in the bathroom dirty fridge a bathtub crawling with ants, burn out lights...,, I never complained i cleaned fixed and never complained, because I felt Rebekah was great. Even my downstairs neighbor said its terrible and she could not wait to move out. I still did not complain. Bought plastic gloves and picked up the daily trash on the grass....But this last thing its absolutely terrible...Its not a second chance place it should be the last resort place...

😫😢 will miss this place! Am moving out in less than 5 day just because rent went way up for me and I had to get a cheaper place. This was my first time renting an apartment and it was less stressful than I thought. I didnt interact with the staff much but the few times i did they were nice always tried to help. When I called for a service request the next day it would be fix which is AWESoME! Quiet and safe complex. Residents are nice they mainly keep to themself. Reccomend!! Who know maybe Ill rent again next year!

I really enjoyed getting to meet the staff and the community during my tour. The staff was friendly and the location is hard to beat. This is by far the top complex on my list.

I live in that apartment for almost 2 years. Now I had an issues with them because they charge us almost $230 after we move out. They charge us $1500 for cancellation of our contract and we paid it. They even charge us $350 for cleaning and $300 non refundable down payment the day we move in to that apartment. Summer winds apartment is a Savage and ripped me off but I will file a complain to consumer affair or I convince other tenants before who had the same problems and file a class action suit against summer winds.

Shannon and staff have been very friendly and helpful...with all the demands they face on daily basis I appreciate their efforts in making sure my maintance requests and etc are met

We ended up not living here, so this review is just based on the touring process, but we really liked our tour and were close to choosing it.I cant remember the name of the nice lady who toured us.. shes from Montana (or Wyoming? nah I think its Montana). She was really kind and fun to tour with, and just want to say thanks. I think we would have liked it here. Just ended up choosing somewhere else.I cant speak for what it would be like to live here, but fine place to take a look at and tour imo.

Everything about this place I have great vibes about that encourages me to move in. The Staff and Lexy was absolutely helpful and kind. Ive seen so many places and I was on a tight schedule but she was able to tell me everything I needed to know before I even asked anything. She gave me everything I wanted before even asking. Great customer service and the model was awesome! Definitely worth checking out!

Been a resident at summerwinds apartments for 4 years my pops was here first then i moved in with him Shannon the supervisor has been great to me anything i needed she was there to assist me along with her staff and maintenance people if i had a problem in my apart they were quick to fix the problem very quiet clean a great place to stay i have enjoyed my stay with summerwinds dont intend on moving no time soon

I went in for a tour and loved the property! Everyone was so friendly and answered all my questions during the tour.

I have visited many apartment sites over the last few months... This is one of the best managed properties I have seen. The other two belong to the same management company.The Amenities are unbelievable... Pool, Fitness Center, Basketball and indoor Handball court. Private Theater, BBQ Area and it goes on. The Apartment are very nice, again very well managed, clean and beautiful... Also Ms. William the property manager is one of the most caring people I have met.. I have nothing but praise for this location.

All the bad reviews on here are as accurate as can be. I lived there for a year and a half before terminating my lease due to problems with the staff. That is really how bad it got. Any good review here HAS to be a fake paid review. I mean read this guys review I love the amenities no real review speaks that way.Terrible place to live they take advantage of you in every way. Staff is rude and not helpful at all.Maintenance will come into your apartment without asking.Apartments are old and so are the utilities you will start to notice a week after moving in that many defects were quickly covered up to re sale. I can go on for days but I will keep it short. Do NOT waste your time or money here. There is also heavy crime and many break ins. Terrible terrible terrible!

Recreat Idea

I clean my car every week because when I wake up and go to work there is always hand prints on my car. Someone keyed it too.I found out my next door neighbors were broken in on super bowl Sunday. I heard unexpected yelling next door in which did not sound like the renters. Also the light on the porch was mysteriously off. So I went to the office the next day and they said, did you call 311? Uhhh, no! It isn’t really my problem but seems as it wasn’t their problem.Anyways the next door neighbors have to stay two more months or they would be breaking their lease. Front office don’t care, they would still be penalties if they decided to leave early.

People are crazy...the guy ranting about his GFs apartment lives there...he can say he doesnt but he does. The maintenance guys are fine. The rent is fair and the apartments are older...it is what it is. Its all fine, big apartment, great location. Dont let these crybabies affect you with their nonsense. He probably just doesnt want to be on the lease.

Staff and maintenance workers is nice,helpful,and place is quite,and also in a very good location.....This is a 2019 post may 13th.So far its been a good place.

DO NOT MOVE HERE, we have had our cars broken into twice by some kids, we informed the apartment complex and they informed us they couldnt do anything about it. There use to be security that patrolled around but not anymore. My package has been stolen, theyve entered the apartment without even letting me know. They are terrible. so glad we moved out.

I went on the Summer Winds website and noticed that a three bed two bathroom apartment was available, so I went in on Saturday August 15, 2016 to see if I can take a look at it. Completely false! Tracie McLemore, one of the leasing specialist, printed out a quote and said that it wouldnt be ready till the next day because it was still being renovated. So I had called her the next day asking if it was alright to come in. She said it still wasnt ready and she would call me back to tell us when it is available. Today, I called her at about 1030. She had told me that IT STILL WASNT READY till SATURDAY! But I wanted to come in today and apply for it anyway. She stated that I only needed the holding and application fee. I came in about 430pm and had been told that an existing tenant transferred into it. It is a first come first serve basis, so I suggest you put in your application before you ever come into see them. Horrible customer relations and communication! It says 1 star but -5 for me.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, me and the family loved our place here and the community was nice and quiet. We loved the friendly staff, the awesome neighbors we had, it was a place we called home.

The employee was very disrespectful and rude and if your moving to las vegas and dont have a job you wont be able to rent even if you have money to pay for a whole year. Every employee says different things

This place will rip you apart do not waste your time renting here all what they do is steal money from you they will get any excuses to not return any deposit to you so if you are already there make sure they walk with you if not who know what they will charge you. Recomendation the house market is big so is better renting a house than a apartment.

Never got a chance to speak to anyone because first off...I was there 15 minutes BEFORE anybody came to speak to me then when I showed her the advertisement I had gotten on my fb page she was very dismissive, then condenscending, then she became insulting. So I left without even talking to anybody about a chance to rent

DO NOT EVER MOVE HERE!!!!!! If I could I would rate this as a -5! If I could go back and listen to my gut when My fiancé and I came to look at this place I would have never moved here. The management team are very very rude and disrespectful and the maintenance is lazy and never fixes anything! In order for something to be fixed you have to physically be there watching them do it. And the maintenance team can never apparently fix anything you ask for them to fix according to there office. I have never been in such a horrible apartment. They are expensive and the apartment is falling apart and nothing ever works. Ovation complexes should be investigated and shut down. I tried writing everything down on my review but I exceeded the maximum count. So here is a short version of my review. I would never recommend anyone to live here. A complaint will also be made to the BBB.

Great apartments Ariel was very helpful

This is one of the worst places you can stay in if you have kids. They will expect your kids to stay in and not to come,if so they will find a way to say your kid did something as a strike against you. They are serious when it comes to strikes. My friend happened to live here and the kids were caught climbing a tree and happen to be kicked out. They are also the most snobbiest people that work there. They WILL take your money and cheap you out. Dont live here unless your a old white person.
