Called this place everyday (6-8x a day) for 2 weeks straight trying to get info on pricing and for apt tours since they had 2 available units. THEY NEVER ONCE ANSWERD! Left voicemails everything. Even emailed them & nothing. The website has no way to schedule yours, & has no info on prices, i ended up taking the risk & just blindly applying to an apt i has no idea what the cost was. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!

Christopher the porter is a very respectful, wonderful young man, always willing to help, and keeps the grounds looking amazing all the time! He never walks by a mess and leaves it there, he always picks it up. The office staff is spectacular, i adore them very much. They always are very helpful whenever i need help and always receive me with a smile and a warm welcome. Ive been living here for 2 years now and this is the best staff theyve had. Angel the manager has really made living here even more amazing with the changes shes made. Alterra is amazing!!!!!!! (:

I sm in the process of applying for this place and even though I havent been approved yet I am already satisfied with the way the leasing office has treated me. I have been going insane looking for a good place to raise my children and I love this place. I love the area its right down the street from a really great church. I am crossing my fingers and praying that my family and I are accepted. My kids deserve to grow up somewhere nice and safe. Everyone deserves second chances and because of my credit being so poor I am Afraid I wont be approved but I have hope. I would recommend this place to anybody its beautiful. ok going back to finishing my application. :)

Love the new manager. She is really trying hard to make this a great place. I see a difference in the property! It looks cleaner, work orders get done when they are called in and everyone is so nice when you walk in.

Before COVID-19 I would’ve said only move here if you’re the type of tenant who keeps to themself and rarely needs to go into the office about things. As the office staff is never on the same page and there is constant miscommunication. The day I signed my lease I remember two residents in the office upset because of miscommunication and errors made by the office staff. But now, in light of a global pandemic I will say do not move here plain and simple. All of the bad was amplified during the state wide shut down. And the best interest of residents was not taken into account. Residents talk to one another and many said they were denied payment plans for not being able to show proof of a loss of income despite proving all requested documents. Others complained about misinformation and poor communication and having to get corporate involved. I saw more “move outs” and peoples couches & TVs (whole apartments) in the dumpster in the 3 months of Nevada being locked down then I did in the entire year of my lease. Along with rent increases being higher than what the current market value is listed on sites like these. You get what you pay for. The units are nice but the people who run the office need business etiquette and a lesson on customer service. Add in that you’re paying for a “gated community” and the gate is never closed. They claim that the Fire Marshall said it needed to stay open because it opened too slow when they were called out. But the sister property next door has a slower opening gate and their gate is always closed. Even during business hours potential residents must be buzzed in by the office. Stay very far away from Alterra.

I loved it, I was close to getting approved and everything but yaaaaaalllll why the apartments just call and tell me “ we are unable to rent the apartment because the guy who is renting it was applying for a house but it didn’t go through so he is renewing his lease for 12 months “ lol I’m weak and upset . Unprofessional 💯

After reading the owners responses to reviews, I have decided not to move here. You can tell they try to justify their bad actions instead of correcting them. Not acceptable.

I have been at this complex for almost a year and I feel that all the staff has been wonderful, warm & respectful. Ms. Angel has a awesome team!!!!

Horrible neighbors LOUD NEIGHBORS I moved in September with my partner and MY FIRST apartment and I’ve been here 2 months so far and I have to say It’s so so . It’s a 1 bedroom 1 bath on the 2ND floor newly remodeled . Love the fireplace, love how modern it looks, BUT and to be very honest the only thing I don’t like is That the vent exhaust in the kitchen above the oven does not ventilate the air out from cooking and OCCASIONALLY CAUSES the apartment to get foggy and causes the fire alarm to go off due to cooking also they have come to fix the tub 3 times and it still looks cracked and the bathroom is still cracked

The staff is AWESOME! I love my apartment and how spacious it is. Maintenance is very prompt with repairs and everybody is super friendly. Judith is an outstanding manager that leads her team by example. The best place Ive lived in thus far!!!!!!!!!!

Getting maintenance done on your apartment is a hassle. Has been since I moved in. Told them my toilet kept running water. They claimed to have fixed it. That was when I initially moved in. Now I am at the end of my lease and my toilet is running now as I type. And you think Im paying a water bill? Ha!Im cleaning my stove one day and notice paint chipping away. Underneath? Oh just old rusty burnt up stove.Oh another story I put in a work order to fix my patio door because it would not lock. No one shows up for a week. I call to see whats up and my work order is no where to be found! So I placed another. Gave them permission to enter my apartment. No one shows up again so I call and they say we need permission to enter! Really bro? So I give them permission yet AGAIN to enter my apartment. STILL no one shows up. At this point Ive given up, just hoping the sick in the back of my sliding door holds. Few days later I get a call from the guy in the office AGAIN asking for permission to enter.Oh another story my refrigerator went down and also noticed that my garbage disposal did not have a blade. Swapped out the fridge no problem but told me they had to order a part for the garbage disposal. Ive been waiting on that part to come in for 4 months.Now that Im FINALLY moving out of this place in less than a week. What else could go wrong? My washer goes down. Will not empty the water out of the load to go through the rinse cycle. I guess Ill be waiting for them to decide when they wanna show up.

I am a big fan of this complex main Master bath tub is fantastic can fit 2 or 3 people in The pool in the complex is also Fantastic beautiful waterfall What gets me is the fireplace And its affordable to live All you doing is paying the rent utilities are separately I like that a lot Been staying here since June cant complain complex is quiet and gated and the lovely ladies in the leasing office are great as well😁😁😁😁🤙🤘 -Aaron McArthur

It’s sad when people don’t know a good thing! I’ve seen poor management skills in the past from here. But the last two Ms. Jackie and Ms. Judith have been GREAT!!! They listen and are very reliable! The maintenance guy David, GREAT JOB every time!!!! The other one....HELLL TO THE NAWWW! 👎🏾🤬🤯Judith always trying to be professional and polite! She has coffee and cookies in the lobby just because. Manager Judith is worthless. She sweeps everything under the rug to make her job easy. They are going to be nice and accommodate all your needs until about your second month into your lease . So then your stuck for the next 10 months . DONT MOVE HERE

Rent is a bit high for area and apartments. Security is just for show. Gates didnt work properly, always open at night and didnt always open to get out of complex.Maintenance is a small team, they try but are always bogged down. Office staff is always friendly but hard to get ahold of and they rarely ever return your calls. Seems like a very small staff for the amount of units. Not bad at their jobs, just overwhelmed.

I was considering moving there but I went to the apartment the lady was rude. Did not explain anything about the apartments. If I was a secret shopper this place would fail just from the leasing agent/manger I’m not sure because she didn’t even introduce herself just simply rude. Now that I’m reading the reviews, this was a blessing in disguise! Thank you for your rudeness.

Get a copy of your work orders or theyll disappear.The new management are rude. Asked for their corporate number, they gave me a fake one. They also applied my rent to the wrong unit. If I didnt have my reciet, I wouldve been SOL. That same day there was a gentleman there who was angry because they misplaced his deposit, and he didnt have his reciet . I would recommend this place with the old management team, but not with the new

Wish we could have gone swimming, water cold as ice. Jacuzzi very cold but once you got use to it was better than nothing. Spoke with person working in office regarding the lack of heat but after 7 days still cold.

My house was interested into along with my daughter be touched and police was called on me they house two security me one with one black telling me I dont live here I will be let people know because this is very important.i have a vedio that I would like post on two occasions in the same apartment why u should not move here I also saw a wierd man as Im checking the mail. He walked right up with his hands both of them in his pants while I have my daughter please I advise you dont do it also the water pressure is so wack dont stay hot long only 20mins water comes out very very slow washer dryer is old

Moved 3 times in this complex since dec 31st we upgraded to a 2 bedroom to only be full of mold which they lied and said was discoloring, but yet they let us move back to the 1 bedroom until another 2 bedroom was available we gave them a full month to get the new 2 bedroom together to only come to a leaking toilet again a ceiling fan that sounds like it’s about to fall down on you backward door handles and a broken wash machine and was told they not giving us a new 1 we have to wait until some1 comes to fix it meanwhile we never got a chance to even start it since we moved in on the first

Black mold warning: this apartment complex is contaminated with black mold. They will refuse to do anything about the issue and let you live in unsafe conditions. Please think twice before you move in.

Worst place I ever lived I moved here last year and its been hell every since my neighbor has parties all night and installed a stripper pole in her bedroom when I went to complain to the office the management said that I was racist because I only complained about her like hello all my other neighbors dont have people smoking weed drinking and blasting music until 6am on a Monday then they told me it was not that bad I called there so called security people he walked by and said nothing just flirted with the girl and her freinds I have called the police countless times and still nothing dont waste your time even bothering looking at the apartments they look nothing like the model apartment they show u and have outdated appliances the maintenance team have a** fix stuff then have an attitude like your an inconveniences to them

Absolutely thee most Horrible place to live...the walls are thin so i can hear everything my neighbor is doing...dishwasher doesnt work garbage disposal doesnt work...I have a huge crack in my tub that they havent came back and fixed yet...every other month there hiring a new property manager...my neighbor is the absolute worst...I might go into a deep depression if I dont get outta here ASAP....😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣

Adriana and Brenda are excellent people, but the manager has no responsibility, I had a flood in my apartment because of the old pipe and I could not enter it for 2 days, this happened 3 weeks ago and it is the day that no one has gone To repair the vibil that they ripped from the floor, the manager already knows it, but she prefers to ignore it as irresponsible. Apart from this, I have only been living here for 7 months and there have been 4 occasions that leave us completely without water for 2 days and the manager Angel says that we use the bathroom in the office as if that were a solution.Definitely I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM at all .... but imasinstallations
