This location was suspect to me at first. However, after having moved in and stayed here several days, I can say that there is a definite community vibe occurring in this complex and neighborhood. The studio is well kept. The few small maintenence issues that I found at move in were attended to in literally 10 minutes from making my request.Security is present and active on grounds and the staff are helpful and courteous, even remembering my name. The neighborhood is quirky and artsy, with several opportunities for off the beaten path dining. Vegas Test Kitchen concept restaurant is a 5 minute walk. Fremont Experience is about 15.Are there a few transient characters floating about? Yes, it is Las Vegas. That type of thing is oar for the course. The common sense of dont talk to strangers applies to most every area of this town. The security does an excellent job of keeping the buildings and lots for this property available exclusively to those who are tenants.Dont miss out in the fried chicken and fish next door at the deli.If a person is looking for an affordable place near the downtown area, this is the best value available.
900 to move in for a studio dang I can see if it was nice but where homeless people live lol y’all are crazy
I honestly did not like staying at this location. By far the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms are cheap and run down. The pet rent and deposit was way over priced for the horrible room I lived in. I had my apartment sprayed weekly and saw roaches of all sizes constantly. Why am I leaving 5 stars? Courtney and Hector. The customer service I received from them both was just amazing. They were the only good thing about staying there. I actually received good customer service from everyone there but, I had to call out these two. They were super helpful and professional. I can’t thank them enough for all of the help and laughs I got from them. I hope I never have to move into this location again, but, if I do, I’ll be happy to see them again!!
Lovely staff and service! Highly recommend!
Management and the maintenance crew are truly great. You just have to communicate. Night security keeps the place clear of riffraff. Regular pest control is a perk. As is onsite laundry and pool. Cable, and all utilities included. Make this place greatly affordable. Im very happy with the experience Ive had with this building specifically. They do all they can to make it home. Im grateful for Siegel Suites. And you cant beat the price.
Is any one having the problem im with the security guard during the week. Stalking their apartment and trying to get in at night? He let it be known to me he can get the keys and get in when he wants. And after Ive waken up to my door being unlocked while I was sleeping.
This place is great was so tired of hotel to hotel in California came here to Vegas found this place and it’s the best I had a problem with the stove and kitchen sink called the office and in less than 30 seconds there was a knock at my door and it was the maintenance guy and he fixed it immediately not a problem since
This place is decent for the price. This is decent for the price because utilities are already included. There is always security around which is great, repairs are done immediately, staff is courteous, pretty quiet for the most part considering where we are, no extreme bug problems at all, pretty clean and nice size studio. However, the laundry room could use some updating. Me and my spouse keep to ourselves so we havent seen or ran into any problems.
The girl who works in the reception its very rude and aggressive, the only valid person in reception and Mr. ECTOR.
Avoid at all costs. This place exists only to prey on the under privileged. They deal in cash, and should you want to pay by card, be prepared for a hefty surcharge. The rooms are awful and bug infested. Cockroaches and bed bugs rule. They say they do background checks and provide a safe and secure place to live, yet they have an agreement with the city and take in sex offenders! Just check online. What you do get is drug dealers and users, prostitutes, and criminals. The maintenance people are a joke and will go into rooms infested with bed bugs to work, and then go into another room and bring the bugs with them. The fire alarm system has been disabled so people can cook in their rooms, and most of the windows are screwed shut. 2 dead bodies were found here during my stay. This is a very bad place in a very bad part of town,
Worst place ever they will do everything in there power to not give your deposit back
My wife and I lived there for about 6 months, and when we moved, we were told that our mail would be forwarded. A month later and no mail has arrived at my new place. The office staff were nice and helpful. The night security sucked. I had one of my two bikes stolen from in front of our door. The cable was cut. Our RV was vandalized, and hit while in their lot.Because its a hotel, you cant get a bank account at US Bank, because they dont recognize them as a real address.Constant noise.
NOT NEARLY AS BAD AS I HAD EXPECTED, BASED ON THE REVIEWSI just spent my first night. Not a bug anywhere. The furniture is old and not matching. But it gets the job done.I had to purchase my own bedding so I walked to Savers, a resale store and bought sheets & a comforter for around $20. They dont tell you that the beds have no sheets, pillows or blankets.Courtney and Hector were nice to me.Courtney appears to be quite Street - wise. She is a No B.S. kind of person. They helped me to get my room when I thought it was impossible. This place is always full! Its quiet here, although I did happen to see one or two obvious drug addicts. No one has said anything to me at all.I met two of my neighbors. One is visiting from Iceland. Wow!! Hes a very nice guy.Overall, there are no bugs in my room.I am so thankful! Probably because there is such a high turnover rate here is the reason why some rooms may possibly have any kinds of bugs. Yes. Because people bring them and leave them behind. I was absolutely terrified after reading some of the negative reviews! But I am glad to know that my experience is the complete opposite. Its a bit expensive for a disabled person like myself who lives on a small budget. But I refuse to be homeless in this town. So I pay.Cons: They dont tell you that you will lose any and all deposits if you stay less than 30 days. And I did notice that as soon as I paid for everything the people in the office were far less friendly compared to my first day there. And they were even less friendly - No. Far from friendly - the day I left (minus any deposits I had paid). Also, I gave Hector my forwarding address but when I called to confirm that I gave him the correct address all Hector would say was, What address did you give me?. Then I knew there was a problem! And when I called 24 hours later Hector had informed me that...We dont forward mail. If you dont have a room here we return all mail to the Post Office. Huh!!???... Then why... ... Forget it.It is for these reasons and more (such as moving me into the second floor while I must use a wheeled walker for mobility. That was not fun at all!) that, in hindsight, Id prefer not to stay at any Siegal Suites ever again.
My brother moved in a few days ago not even a week... the room they gave him still had stuff from the previous residents... then after work a couple nights ago I took him dinner and stood out side of his room with him and my husband to smoke a cigarette and security came at us very aggressive.. telling us that if he saw us on property the next day he will trespass us and that he would be looking for us... we told him we werent visiting and my brother told him he was the one renting the room.. the next day my brother talked to the management about the matter.. they then told my brother the security guard said he had 4 people living with him... never apologized for his aggressive behaviour .. just said they would talk to him...
I have only been here for 3 weeks now but based on my experience so far the front office staff has been very helpful and accommodating as well as pleasant. From previous reviews I was worried about bugs at first, however, I now believe those to be false accusations. I have only seen 2 common crickets since I have been here. The pool is clean an seems to be maintained within an average time frame and all the amenities in my unit work well and are in fairly good shape. The only reason I did not rate this place higher in stars is because of the noise level and nighttime occurrences (which I do not open my door to witness). I have heard the security guards handle themselves in a professional and exceptional manner during those instances though (and the noise seems to quiet after being addressed).
I dont know why anybody would want to live here, and assume that it is a safe neighborhood to raise a family in. The management, staff, security, and almost all of the residents here, are drug addicts with mental issues. If you do a favor for a neighbor, like give them a cigarette, or a ride, or loan them money, they will constantly expect it from you and will Never pay you back. A lot of bugs here, and if you complain to management, they say that if you were to keep your apt. Cleaner, you would not have any. Thumbs way down for these apts . From hell !
The Fremont property is Clean Quiet Great customer service, in one word ( EXCELLENT)I planned on only staying here until i find an aptI love it here not leaving ANY Time soon.
We stayed here about 6 weeks and received mail. My girlfriend had medicine delivered on a normal basis. Hector told me that he would look out for my girls medicine and other packages we were expecting. My meds disappeared and no one has them. Not them or the post office. Amazing isnt. Courtney is rude and unhelpful. She lies Everytime she opens her mouth. Dont stay here because they treat you terrible and lie.
Yes, of course, Id rather be in a penthouse at the Wynn or Encore resorts, but they were booked! I cant speak for the whole Siegel franchise, but the spots on Fremont St. have been great for me. Front desk help gets 5 stars. Hector, Courtney, and others.
I been staying here for 3 months and I havent had any problems no bugs or anything my mattress was new everything else in the apartment was descent hector sharon and Courtney have been very nice to me so keep up the good work and thanks for making my stay comfortable, the only problem I do have is with the fat rental cop fake metro security he is very rude and takes his job to seriously!
I dont know how anyone in their RIGHT MIND could give this place more than 2 stars unless they are severely mentally ill. Someone said this place exists only to prey on the under privileged & I could not agree more. If you use your card to pay rent (which most people do since they have no vehicle or way of getting to a BANK) they will charge a 4% fee (which is equivalent to about $20). JUST TO USE YOUR CARD! If thats not bad enough, they also charge you over $50/month for BROKEN WiFi! (NEW TENANTS ONLY). The people complaining about the poor apt conditions & bugs - thats funny lol I mean, its a WEEKLY ON FREMONT ST WTF DO YOU EXPECT? If youre complaining about roaches in Vegas then you must not be from Vegas. Lol Ive stayed in 2 different apartments here. The first one was in pretty rough shape in need of MANY repairs but I knew exactly what I was getting into. We didnt have proper weather proofing on our doors so you could see right through. Our closet was missing a clothing rod. Our shower curtain & bathtub had paint all over it, (as did most of the kitchen & bathroom since the maintenance are unqualified, sloppy & careless). So, I must say I felt like I had hit the jackpot with my 2nd apartment. It was SO much nicer than my first one! My guess is, they recently renovated this for one of their staff. Room smelled like cigarrette smoke but I fixed that by getting rid of the mattress. I do however recommend getting an air purifier/humidifier because you will still smell smoke if your neighbors smoke. Plus this is dt vegas, so the pollution is terrible. As for maintenance: the blonde lady was the best weve seen so far but shes gone now. :( The others weve dealt with the last year & a half (2018 & 2019) were just awful. They would literally COMPLAIN while they were working inside my air conditioned unit LMAO Bitching & moaning about wanting to go home. They had absolutely no idea how to weatherproof our door. I had to actually EXPLAIN to grown men WHY I wanted it weatherproofed because the lazy smarta-- actually implied I wanted it done for looks. LOL And after 3 failed attempts & a lousy attitude I said FORGET it! Our fridge was broken for a whole year because no one would fix it. The only ones who ADMITTED it was broken were the 2 white workers, & the blonde woman is the only one who would remove it!!!! Thank GOD for her cause the men are USELESS. Cockroaches: hard to control in Vegas so I recommend keeping the apartment clean, tidy & investing in some roach motels & caulking. You can clean & spray all day every day, but if your apartment is not properly sealed & insulated they will still come in. If you never want to see a roach EVER, I advise renting a brand new high rise condo. LOL Siegel will spray occassionally which is just their easy, lazy way of controlling the bugs & putting toxic chemicals all over your living space. Also, our car was hit in their lot. Whatever you do, DO NOT PARK next to the red car thats been to hell & back. This black lady will hit you, then park right next to you & not say a word til you call her out. She has hit EVERYTHING! Apartments are in a bad part of town where you cant walk 3 blocks without getting solicited 5 times for sex or drugs. If you dare stand outside your door to get fresh air youll get yelled at by security. And when I brought it up to courtney she ACTUALLY said its a fire hazard. She then added that smoking cigarettes on the balcony is PERFECTLY acceptable. I am not making this up, folks!!! LOL The stair way by the dumpsters are not even. Ive fallen twice & so has my boyfriend. (Picture attached for proof). PLEASE be careful on these stairs! The list goes on & on!
A little old and run down but comfortable and quiet. Not the best neighborhood but really close to downtown.
Its actually really clean and nice, my mattress looked new, I was expecting trashy especially from these reviews, but at least MY room is clean and comfy!
THE HOOD experience literally... Prices are steep for this nasty part of DTLV, really dirty rooms, old TV and a very very depressing environment. Police sirens and lots of indecency going on at all times. Stayed here for a week since I was in the process of looking for something more stable and it was the worst experience ever. DONT TRUST RATINGS MORE THAN 2 STARS
Its in the hood staff gave good service u just didnt like the fact thar they paint the tub other than that it is what it is a suite temporary stay literally
Pros: This Siegel location wants 2 weeks of rent upfront when you first first check in, and then after that they charge rent from 5 days and beyond, and they charge NO tax(thats a good thing) which adds up to about $330-370 depending on if you are paying cash or not. Their credit card fees are stupid high!!One of the most affordable weekly studios out there.Nobody bothered me because I kept to myself. Easy right?I was staying with my daughter, and felt comfortable doing so. Were pretty adaptable unless otherwise. This was a temporary stay anyway.Office staff was decent. No major issues.Police and security presence often.Cons:Roach issue(small roaches seen every now and then) although I had kept my room clean and smelling good at all times, but not too bad to the point where it becomes a worse infestation.A lot of homeless people in the area.3-4 different people had knocked on my door looking for a person who used to stay in my room before I did.One day I went to the office and had happened to see the security officers, their name tags read very unprofessional, ones name is J Butterknucles and the others name is Azzhole!! SMH. I cant make this mess up!! Lol!! Seriously Siegel?Dirty pool.Narrow parking. Especially for those such as myself who drive large vehicles(trucks & SUVs).Arguments and yelling between neighbors and couples.Lots of sirens. You have to pay for internet service by the week.Outrageous credit card fees if you were to use your card with the front office, you may be better off paying cash to avoid those fees.Cramped up office space at the front office.Eh. My stay was ok, Cant complain too much. I had just stayed to myself the whole time, and that was that!
Roaches, Bedbugs, rude security, police officers and sirens, disorderly conduct on and around the primisis. Recommendations, if your planing on moving to Vegas, and you think this is a good option, think again. Lol
If I could give them a negative zero...( I would!! ) My family and I stayed at Siegels because we were new to Las vegas and had no where else to stay and affordability was an issue...We needed something clean and inexpensive after all we were not planning to stay forever( Though we stayed months..Longer than we wanted or cared to ) I asked for an empty room and I got that ( We had blow up beds and didnt want to use theirs ( You have to bring your own bed covers ) I asked did they have roaches and was told no! We looked at the room and seen none at first...Left to get something to eat and came back to roaches...Then weeks later the bed bugs moved in and started attacking me..Eating me alive and they itch and hurt!!( Doesnt matter what you read online ) They hurt..Very badly!! The tub was filthy so we wouldnt dare bathe for sake of getting some weird fungus or disease!! The water gets turned off often without notice and the internet is slow or doesnt work and you have to pay an extra $5 - $10 for wifi...The area is sketchy at best with mentally ill people and people on drugs ( Thank God its close to downtown and the Police are constantly monitoring the area in cars and with cameras...This is the worst motel...I have ever been to...I prefer four stars and this is far from it!! The only plus was Courtney in the office and two nice security officers at night...God bless anyone who has to stay here...This slumlord and all the people running this trash motel...Should be shut down.*
The staff is uncourteous and the rooms are extremely overpriced. Do not stay here.
I had to live there when I first moved to Vegas because I was broke. I should have crashed on a friends couch instead. Cockroaches. bed bugs. FILTH, and everything in between. You can rent a decent apartment in Vegas for around $650/mo. This place was more expensive and way worse. Most people who live there are in pretty dire situations and it can get... interesting. I had people knock on my door at 3am asking for crack because apparently the person living there before me was a dealer. I had the downstairs neighbor, completely drunk, open my door WITH HIS KEY. We both got really scared and luckily I didnt stab or shoot him or vice versa. Other than that, the police was there at least twice a week for one reason or another. Please, avoid this place like plague unless you are writing a novel about the underbelly of Vegas or if you want stories to tell your friends later in life. If you are a single woman, you should probably steer very clear of this place. It is not safe. The pictures depict the state of the place when I moved in.
I hate to complain about a place thats a known disaster but IF THE CARPET IS DISGUSTING GROSS AND SMELLY COULD THE OWNERS JUST STOP BEING CHEAP AND LAY NEW CARPET WHEN ITS IN SUCH BAD CONDITION. Like seriously! Or switch the units to all tile or all lanolin. Come on we are paying rent sheesh!
WiFi is terrible your lucky to even get 1mbAnd rooms are “as is” so if you need something fix good luck with that and they have a NO REFUND policy for everything so read the fine print if you don’t believe me !
Family lived there a month and was baby sitting my 5 year old... She found a used needle thank god she didnt touch it... Worst place ever..
For a single man, this place suits me well. It fits my needs and very close to entertainment. Its what I would expect in the neighborhood its in.
Worst place to live non professional. Staff even the manager is rude Ms. Sharon very racist & Hector is another rude one, but thanks anyway for yall non hospitality
Its not all clean has roaches
