I have been trying to get a hold of someone in the office for over a month now and I am unable to. They don’t answer the phones and or emails. I don’t recommend anyone to live here, the office is horrible with responding I always had to physically go to the office to speak to someone and half the times things would still not get done. The complex always had trash everywhere it was like no one knew where the trash cans where and or no one would up keep with the cleaning. I was also advised you get automatically charged for paint, carpet cleaning and cleaning of the apartment mind you no where in your lease does it specify you will be automatically charged for this it specifies you may be charged for the following items and gives you ranges of what they can charge and that’s if it’s broken, not in good condition and or of course the apartment needs to be cleaned ect. I am needing to get a hold of someone and or at this point to corporate to follow up on my move out statement to ensure I dont ow anything to avoid being sent to collections because they don’t know how to answer. So if anyone has any info on who or how to reach someone other than physically going to the office it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

These apartments are infested with roaches and bed bugs. The plumbing is very bad. I’ve had leaks all over my apartment and now there’s mildew. The property is very dirty. Maintenance doesn’t fix anything. Also the neighbors are dirty and will leave trash in front of your apartment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. You will definitely regret the move.

The ladies in the office where so professional and helped me the whole application process. I received a beautiful apartment home which I love. I would highly encourage everyone to come and apply to the perfect home.

Dont bother cleaning when you leave. They will steal your deposit. I contacted the general manager and even try talking to corporate but they didnt even bother listening to me. They charged me 400 bucks to paint the walls again???? I lived their for a year and their was no need for them to paint the walls. Now I understood why everyone that left Playa Vista left behind all their trash since they knew they wouldnt refund their deposit.

I am a US Army veteran and Ovarian Cancer Survivor. I moved from Chesterfield, MO to Las Vegas, NV because my spouse whom is also a veteran accepted a position here. If this is an example of what living in Vegas is about then Id definitely say stay away at all cost. If there were zero stars thats what I would give it! From applying to move in til now it has been a very awful situation! I initially applied for apartment 2077 after being showed an updated apartment and asking if thats the same type of apartment Id receive and was told yes. I also asked when it would be available and was told May 15. After I took in my deposit and paid my application fee thats where the negatives started! The move in date was supposed to be May 15 but was moved to May 19 and on my move in date of May 19th, I get there to them saying weve been trying to reach you theres a problem with your apartment, it isnt ready it was an eviction and by law we have to give them 30 days. So instead they moved me to Apartment 2028, the leasing agent stated we are aware of some issues in the apartment but we will have maintenance there by Wednesday May 22nd. Maintenance never showed. Not only was there an active beehive in the shingles of my apartment roof they were coming into my apartment through the vents and Im highly allergic. Fast forward a few weeks into the move I started noticing small red bumps on my body that itched. Then had my wife come check out the apartment She has spent over 10 years working in hotel maintenance and she told me babe you have bed bugs. During this time my work hours didnt permit me to go into office but I called everyday leaving messages with no response. I finally took off work and stopped in to talk and was told the manager wasnt available but they would get it taken care of! Well... taking care of for them was in July after multiple attempts to contact and request them at least come inspect, nothing. Bianca covers for Estrella and neither of them care about how their new tenants are living and they thinking fixing an issue is a waste of time if you say you want to leave! After they filed for eviction they send a bee company to come inspect and he puts up caution tape and leaves. Beehive wasnt cleared until July! So they bully you and try to get an eviction on your record before providing you habitable living! The state that Im from you can withhold rent until services are rendered to make your residence livable. Those arent the laws here in Las Vegas, NV. I was smart and have video evidence, pictures, call records and emails. I want to move anyway because as a decent human I couldnt cautiously pay money to people of this character and demeanor and after spending my time fighting for this country to even think Id ever be treated this way is unbelievable! I promised to dedicate the rest of my time on this earth fighting against property management companies like this!!! If you too have been bullied by this company please reach out to me immediately!!! This place is HORRIBLE and the office only cares about their money. They dont care about the tenants, only about filling their apartments. Dont. Live. Here. Seriously.... Save yourself the headache. Extremely disrespectful management. We made an appointment to see the apartment. They even didnt open the door. Told us to put my ID under the door and wait outside. I was wearing a mask and I am a Math teacher but they treated me as a criminal. No recommend this place at all.

I would not even apply here!! They require a $250 dollar “holding fee” that you get back if you are denied. Except. When they deny you, they don’t give it back. They sent a denial email and everything. But in order to keep your money they tell you you were approved! But by then you end up applying and spending more money everywhere else and finding somewhere else, and they still won’t return your “holding fee” it’s a scam. After that they say your money will be returned in a couple weeks, but guess what! MORE LIES!!!! I’ve talked to two other sets of people they have done this to. Be careful when dealing with PLAYA VISTA in Las Vegas.

This is a LONG and DETAILED review to truly capture what its like to be a member of the Playa Vista community. I hope someone finds this helpful!PLEASE DONT WRITE A REVIEW ON A DAY THAT YOURE ANGRY! All youre going to do is give a short 1-star review, and only focus on what youre angry about. This is not helpful for future tenants. With that being said, I personally think that Playa Vista Apartments is a 3-star community. Its not terrible, but its definitely not great. At the time of writing this review, my wife and I moved in roughly 5 months ago.PROS & CONS- [PRO] We stumbled upon Playa Vista, toured the community, and decided to roll with a 6-month lease because it was affordable enough. Everyone at the leasing office is friendly, and they did a good job getting us situated. Some of the conversations Ive had with them after moving in were a little too relaxed when I was being moderately professional, but overall its been fine.- [PRO] The grounds themselves, at first glance, are fairly attractive. It looks like a little piece of paradise when comparing it to what surrounds the community. However, the closer you look, the uglier it can get.- [PRO] There are dog stations all around with bags, and a section for waste, which is pretty frequently maintained.- [PRO] The kids weve encountered are actually really respectful, and pleasant to talk to. Theyve complimented our dog, asked my wife if she needed help bringing in the groceries, apologized for their ball hitting the side of the building, etc. No issues there!- [PRO] From our experience, maintenance has been pretty great. Any time we have an issue, they get here when they say theyre going to be here (usually a day or two unless its an emergency), and they fix the problem pretty quick. Great job, guys!- [PRO] Generally, our encounters with the other tenants have been a pretty pleasurable experience. Everyone is friendly enough when you talk to them.- [CON] Trash is constantly floating around because the dumpsters are overflowing, and the garbage cans dont get replaced often enough. In addition to this, inconsiderate tenants actually choose to put their trash bags in the garbage cans instead of taking a short walk to the dumpsters.- [CON] Some of the walls have been destroyed, and a very specific wall was seemingly destroyed on purpose to make an easy route to the grocery store on the opposite side. That actually doesnt bother me that much to be honest. Kinda makes me chuckle every time I see it, lol. All Playa Vista needs to do is install a gate.- [CON] Roaches are a serious problem. We have done pretty much everything we possibly can to eradicate them from our units existence, but they just keep coming back. Dont bother complaining about it to the leasing office because it states pretty clearly in your lease that its your responsibility.- [CON] Children are one of the main issues I have with this community. Lets not get it twisted, I dont have any kids of my own, and I truly love kids. However, the problem is that they have next to zero adult supervision, so they just run around, screaming at the top of their lungs, sometimes until midnight, or even later. Weve encountered drawings on our car multiple times. Nothing permanent, but Im making a point.- [CON] The other main issue is the other tenants. Friendly enough, but a lot of them clearly have no regard for their neighbors happiness, comfort, or well being. They blast music, outside as well as inside, as loud as they want, leave trash laying around, let their kids do as they please, and all of these can, and quite often do, trail into the middle of the night, or during peak working hours (which is bad considering most people are working from home). You can complain about it to the leasing office, but theyll just send out an email blast about being courteous to other tenants which is pretty much useless. Theres unfortunately no control here.Not the worst apartment experience weve had, but we will not be renewing our lease. I hope this helps someone make a decision!

I called and asked about using my tax return for my income verification and they said that it was ok. I paid the fee and put the application in. Now all of a sudden I need a letter from a cpa, a certain amount in my bank account. Both are acceptable things to ask for if you had let me know when I called that i was going to need them and that without them you wont even process my application. And of course they wont give me back the application fee. The whole ordeal was really unprofessional.

The WORST EXPERIENCE ! They are INFESTED OF ROACHES! they do MICKEY MOUSE JOBS and never fix the issue. I’d rather pay 100 dollars more than to live in these unsanitary conditions. The people at the office are terrible at sending maintenance. They would forget to write it down. The only way I had luck getting anyone to listen was through email. In my opinion I’d pay a little extra and try to make ends meet than to live here.

I have been a resident at Playa Vista for over 10 years and I am delighted living here. I always get treated with respect by the girls in the office and from the maintenance staff. Estrella is a great manager and Playa Vista is great due to hard work and her staff. I would highly recommend the community to anyone who is looking for a great place to call home. I love my beautiful apartment and the location is great.

Its been 2 months I moved to Playa Vista and couldnt be happier. The apartments are affordable and well maintained. The complex is very family oriented and quiet. My unit was very clean when I moved it and so far everything works great. The ladies work really hard to keep up with everything and they make a huge effort to satisfy the tenants. Estrella was super helpful and nice helping me with my lease. I definitely recommend Playa Vista to anyone looking for a affordable and good place to live in East Vegas!!

My experience at Playa Vista was great. I relocated from C.A and ever since I arrived I was treated like home. Estrella, Blanca, Michelle, and Brenda are the best. Every maintenance issue was completed very quickly with a lot of professionalism. Office staff has great customer service as well. Amenities are great and the price is very affordable. Thank you Playa Vista for being a great home to my family and myself.

I have been a tenant for 10 years and I love Playa Vista! Convenient area and quiet as well. The leasing staff are very helpful and have great customer service. Best staff Playa Vista has ever had! Maintenance man are quick and efficient about work order requests getting completed. I plan on keeping Playa Vista as my home. Great job!

So I just moved in on the 19th. Not only was the unit not cleaned properly there is a very clear roach/scorpion infestation. Literally as im typingThis Ive killed 4+ roaches mind you Ive cleaned and fogged the apartment over night. They are all along the ceiling and Im seriously considering cancelling me lease and finding a different place. If I could give it zero stars I would. In the mean time Im just going to start looking for a new home.

My sister and I moved into Playa Vista in March and my apartment was beautiful. My apartment is very close to my job, spacious, and best of all affordable. Estrella is always willing to listen to her tenants about any concerns and best off all she and all the staff are very professional. I would recommend Playa Vista to anyone. I am glad I gave it a shot in making Playa Vista my home.

Estrella and Blanca were very helpful and provided me with the best quality service possible. Theyre really kind and helped us with the application process. I was so blessed to have them help me throughout the whole process. I appreciate everything they have helped me with.

I recently moved in these apartments and I’m very disappointed. Theirs pigeons and pigeon feces all over my building. Literally piles of it under the downstairs windows, in my porch which they didn’t bother to clean at all and said they would when I went to the office over a week ago. They pigeons sit above my window pooping and making noise all night and early mornings. My roof is leaking in 2 different rooms for over a week now still has not been fixed. The pigeons walk over the areas where the leaks are and you can hear it. The buildings in the front of the complex don’t have this issue so clearly they have a resolution but have failed to keep the property up in all areas. I’m a severe asthmatic and have literally been having breathing issues due to the leaks and pigeon feces everywhere. I talked to the office on more than one occasion and they smile and say they will send someone and it has literally been over a week so clearly they could care less. The storage and laundry closets literally had the last tenants trash in it still this is beyond unbelievable and I may have to find out who I need to contact for assistance. I can’t even open my bedroom window due to the pigeon feces. I was told they would have a company come out and pressure wash the feces off the building and the porch as well as clean up the piles of poop surrounding the building and this has yet to be done.

Moved in during a heat wave and the air was not working. Called the alleged 24 maintenance 37 times no one picked up. Emailed manager next morning. Manager said it got fixed. Went over next morning at 6:00am and thermostat says 92 degrees. Liar, they did not fix the air. Then PV stole from me not once but twice (I uploaded the evidence). I paid rent on-time and had a $125 credit. On the same day a charge titled See adjustment 2/2019 took away my $100. 3 months later I paid rent on-time (again, I have the photo) and 9 days later I am charged a $75 late-fee. That $75.00 would have been my credit for that month. Funny, late-fees are $100 not $75. They attempted to steal from me again. Cannot imagine how many people they steal from who do not have the ability to check their balance sheet on-line. Calling this place is a nightmare. 90% of the time no one will answer or you get a busy signal. Left several messages before I was a tenant and while I was a tenant, they are never returned. Electrical plugs outside the apts have no cover around them, so electrical wires are exposed (Look at photo). This is a fire hazard. Look elsewhere for a home. Unless you enjoy suffering.

I agree... two days without ac! I called the office they are not sure when are they going to fix it. Its horrible!05/23/17After 11 months I posted a review that my ac didnt work.... well after 11 months it hasnt been been fix still 88 degrees in here. This is my last month of living in this horrible apartments! No ac, infection cockroaches and Scorpions!! Few days ago they called me and asked me if they were to fix my ac the next day if I would consider in staying since I said no they havent fix it! I cant believe it!!! 😡I know Im not the only one there are a lot of tenants going through the same situation..11/06/17Heres another update about this horrible place Playa Vista. My lease ended May,2017 after paying my last month of rent i had to move before the middle of the month because the apartment was extremely hot that i couldnt stay one more day. Little by little i started moving my stuff. I have not kids or pets so my apartment wasnt deteriorated. Well I came to find out they sent me to collection to collect money for paint. They kept my deposit for $150.00 which i didnt care but not enough now i have to pay $164.36 more for mandatory maintenance that the property has to do. I didnt had the chance to take any pictures because i just wanted to leave that place and NEVER EVER COME BACK! I am furious and they should be a shame trying to rip people off when they know they conditions they have their tenants!!!

I had a one bedroom apt, almost $750 per month. Twice I found scorpions crawling on the floor. There were also roaches and all kinds of insects. I manage to live there one year, (did not to lose the deposit money). At the end they kept the deposit money. The day I moved out, my sister and I vacuumed the rug many times, also mop the living room floor 3 times. After 3 hours, we left this apt., immaculate clean. I made a mistake not calling them to see and check the Apt. I just left thinking they were honest and trusted people...they are not. 6 months after moving out I received a letter from them claiming I owed them $190 dollars that they paid for cleaning the rug, $over $300 dollars. At first I thought the were sending me my deposit money, $150 dollars. Just unbelievable this people!, how much hypocrisy and greediness anyone can display, when desperate are looking for money.

Brenda was very helpful helping me throughout my whole application process. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Come and speak to her she is great. I would highly recommend Playa Vista to anyone. Ohhhh and I love the pool! I am so happy it is open!

I see some of the residents have not had A/C for a few days or a week. My A/C has been out since the end of April. Apparently there is a wait list. Almost 2 months I have NOT received any assistance. Every time I go to the office or put in a maintenance request I receive no help except the excuse of this list that the repair man is following. I have a 2 year old. I have to take my child to other places so she will not have to deal with the heat that we are experiencing in my apartment. Still I pay my rent on time; but they do not care that I am using most of my rent money to other places so my daughter can be comfortable. When I have no other choice but to stay in my unit, we have to sleep in wet clothing just to stay cool. It is ridiculous! There is NO excuse why my A/C has not been serviced. Especially since I give them permission to enter when I am not present.

I love their Online Payment option. I went in this afternoon and Brenda and Blanca helped me set up my Rent Cafe account. They even helped me set up my auto payment. Playa Vista will be receiving their money on time that is for sure. lol Thank you ladies really appreciate the help. Need anything talk to Brenda or Blanca they are the best!

I love their online payment option. I dont have to worry about purchasing money orders I can just pay my rent from home and even set it automatic payment. Community is great and cant wait until that beautiful pool is open.

Cheap! But very hood. Expect your car to get scratched, expect to have loud neighbors at night, dont expect security, or management to deal with even simple problems, Ive seen multiple occasions of people fist fighting, and prices keep going up. Spend an extra $50 and find some place a little nicer.

I have a car I am selling because I can no longe afford it. I received a parking violation sticker on it for it not being registered. I called the front office to inform them & they were suppose to notify the towing company. They did not and now I have to pay $250 to get it out. This is unfair to me because I pay rent to live here, to have a slot & I took the proper steps in trying to prevent this from happening. The towing company notified me that they did not receive a call from my leasing office so they did not so their part. I do not suggest moving here unless you like dealing with car tows. My best friend stayed the night at my house and someone called the towing company and had her towed for no reason. There’s no assigned parking and she didn’t park illegally. I am beyond upset and will most likely be breaking my lease over the issue. I don’t have the money to pay $250 in tow fees because the office didn’t think it was urgent enough to call the towing office.

I have been a resident at Playa Vista for 5 years and the ladies in the office are the best team ever! Any issue that comes up in my apartment, they do everything in their hands to resolve asap. I would highly recommend Playa Vista to everyone. I came from California and ever since I made that decision of relocating, Playa Vista has been a place I can call a fantastic home.

I have had a great experience at Playa Vista. I lived there nine years and I had a spacious two bedroom with two masters. Only reason why I left was because my job relocated me to California. I would highly recommend Playa to anyone who is looking for a great home!

2019 Do NOT move here!! I pay around 8 hundred for rent for poor resident service. the office & corporate sucks!! I’ve been living here 5 months & there’s been a lot of problems since the very first month. They have a serious roach problem and do nothing about it, I’ve been having a lot of problems that is required for maintenance & an exterminator. I’ve spoken to the office multiple times about it, even called corporate, it’s been 3 weeks going on 4 & nothing Has been done... This place is disgusting & their resident service sucks bad!! I ADVISE YOU NOT TO MOVE HERE!!!!

Ive been here two weeks in I actually love my apt already its quiet outside its clean in my area besides no assigned parking theres always parking near by also I requested for two things since Ive been here in they fixed it in 3 days or maybe 4 but whatever they didnt make me wait weeks after also I killed about 8 Roaches since Ive been here and I saw 1 pinch bug killed it no problem I love my apartment for the price I pay its worth it I even love the unit set up how the washer in dryer hook up is outside the people in the office are nice also especially the lady name mishelle she welcomed me in with a hug in it made me feel comfortSo I am actually glad I ignored all the bad reviews and believe me I was very skeptical but I took the chance and Im glad I did..

This is the worst place Ive ever lived in! I moved here with my husband the night of our wedding, everything was going fine until our fridge broke down, we let the office know and they took about 3 days to come, then they gave us a nasty yellow from inside with bugs looking fridge. Our AC wasnt working for a whole month in one of the hottest months of the year June!!! I dont know how many times we went to the office to complain, but they didnt fix it in a month instead they brought us a little cooler which was connected to the window, it didnt cool off the room and specially not the living room, we had to wet the whole bed and take a shower right before going to sleep just to be able to sleep, one of those nights both my husband and I got stung by a scorpion, that was the 4th scorpion we had killed in less than a year. I started noticing how the venom was going through my blood. I couldnt feel my legs arms hands and feet. I went to the doctor and they prescribed me a bunch of medicine 4 types of pills every day. I couldnt live in those apartments after that, the doctor told me it was bad if I was overheated while taking my medicine so we left, we broke he contract, and they charged us double the rent money, which we werent there half the time because we had no AC we would only go to the apartment to sleep, they didnt pay for my medication or the doctor, and they were over charging us, it was just not fair!! When we finally tried to go fix the broken contract they said they had fired all the management so they had no paperwork from us and no evidence of the complaints, a few months later the whole management was there again! Dont go live in these apartments theyre the worst!! Oh and I almost forgot while we lived there people tried to steal my rims but didnt succeed, not to mention that there is no parking and you dont feel secure to walk outside of your apartment alone! Too many gangsters or whatever in that area.

I must say Ive lived here since November and its been constant issues in my apartment since then. The day of the move in the carpet had barely been cleaned. There were visible roaches walking around. The shower drain had hair all in it that was not mines. The kitchen cabinets were NOT!!! cleaned the apartment didnt smell of fresh paint. The stove was and still is in constant need of repair. The dishwasher was clogged up the refrigerator was roach infested. Its just really unfortunate because upon signing the lease it says you should keep a clean apartment and you wont have roaches 🙄. Well they were here before me. They exterminator is useless maintenance is useless they keep coming and jiggling wires on the stove thats raggedy as hell. Housekeeping NEVER properly cleaned the apartment. The ladies in the office are very sweet and try but its just not enough. I cant even cook in my kitchen due to the stove and the roaches. I had to tell them Im calling the health department. It shouldnt be that way I should of moved into a nice newly painted clean apartment like the one you sure on the tour not this raggedy rush job one you moved me into.... 😢

I can truley say that Playa Vista management are angels! I just moved here from Texas and Michelle, Estrella, Blanca and Brenda made sure that when I moved in everything would go smoothly because this is a big transition for me I have never lived anywhere else besides Texas. I just signed all my move in paperwork here Im so excited to be on a new journey with my life I sat in the office today for over an hour talking to the staff they made me feel so comfortable while residents were coming in making complaints they never once got mad or hostile back its been a lot of change from when I applied to now its so much more together like u can call and actually talk to someone they have actual answers for problems....i do have to add my two cents in though I think they still need courtesy patrol or security and they need to have more people in the office to help just two people is not enough but anyways other then that I hope that I like it here looking at all the other reviews had me shaky but after today I feel good like Im making a good choice thank you SHanae I know u were busy but u let me stay and ask all my questions I told Edna that I would leave a review and tell them you need to be a manager you guys are great thank you

I came to the office and the ladies were so kind and helpful. Ever since I stepped into Playa Vista I have had great experiences. Want to feel like your home come to Playa.

This complex has the most incompetent staffing and record keeping that I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. During my tenure as a resident, every month I had to make a trip to the office for them to appropriately adjust our rent. The kicker, the online quote was LESS than what they were supposed to receive. If I was a lesser person I would have simply shorted them the few hundred dollars it added up to, but I wasnt falling into any bad karma, so I did the footwork for them. Fast forward to after I move out, my ex-roommate stayed and renewed the lease. I needed them to provide verification to my new rental agency, and first they dont respond to them or to my calls. So I go into the office, and surprise! They cant print me a ledger of my rental and payment history because they took my name completely out of the records once I moved out, leaving only my ex-roommates name on all necessary documentation. Oh, but they sure do still have my lease and the copies of the money orders with my name on them, but mysteriously no record of the roommate addendum we signed verifying my move out date (which luckily I kept a copy of). Ill have made several time and gas wasting trips to this office because they are incapable of functioning at a competent and professional level. P.S. The roach, and to a lesser extent scorpion, complaints in the community are 100% TRUE.

Ladies in the office have great customer service and my work orders get completed quickly and efficiently. I have been a resident at Playa Vista for 3 years and will continue to keep Playa Vista as my home. I would highly recommend the community to anyone.

Went to Playa Vista to look for an apt. The ladies in the office have great customer service. Came in looking for a 3 bedroom, they only have 2 bedrooms but are very big. Will be renting a 2 bedroom soon!

The office staff were really nice at first, we got to tour the staged models of some floor plans we selected, and a month later we moved in. Insects are a problem, I have to do my own exterminating, there were a lot of roaches when we first moved in, and Ive only come across one scorpion which is still concerning as I have a small dog in my home.Since weve moved in we have had our water shut off with out warning MULTIPLE times, and when I try to call the office, I cant get through, I went down to the office and they claimed it was an emergency. I pay an additional $50 per month to cover my water, sewer and trash -- which I am not complaining about. But if you know a building has issues with the water, NOTIFY THE TENANTS! Be professional.

Live here with my roommate in a 2bdrm apt that has 2 master bedrooms. Which is good. We each have our own space. Definitely renewing.

These apartments are INFESTED with roaches if i could post pictures on here I would, roaches in the cabinets, in the bathrooms, in the kitchen everywhereeeeee. Dont move in here its not worth it at all.

Everyone in the office is really generous and helpful. I appreciate all the help and positivity I got back from Estrella and Blanca.

I hate this apartment. Honestly, I would seriously recommend finding another place to live!!! My mom lives here and every other night she has to worry about rocks coming through her window or someone firing bebe guns. I cant wait for her to move out of this hell!!! We reported it to the office and they said they would replace the window and they did NOTHING!!! All we get is attitude. They dont care about peoples safety here. Find another place to live because this aint it...Furthermore, peoples cars are being stolen all the time. Everyday peoples cars are going missing. Its crazy!!! Stay away from this place, because you might just be the next victim!!!

ROACH INFESTED!!!!!! BAD KIDS!!! But the worst part is the roaches.. the roach bombs don’t work... the pest control didn’t help... Raid works but it’s too much to spray everyday! That’s their home!

The only thing this place has going for them is the office staff. Very friendly however, they have no control over certain things. Like an apartment being move in ready on time, the obvious cockroach infestations, etc. My love was all ready to move in there and his unit was not ready (not even close). Playa Vista left a lot to be desired but I blame the corporate office. Get your stuff together PSDM, hire maintenance professionals that will have your units ready to move in on time and you will retain more tenants.

Very nice property. Great maintenance staff and great customer service. Brenda just helped me with my rentcafe account. I love my apartment and will be staying at Playa Vista for many years to come.

I have lived here since April and I like that its quiet, but when they changed the whole staff in the office,metro has been on property more than they should. Now the very first office manager I met when I moved in is back (Estrella Mendez) she was literally the best manager this property had and Im very glad that shes back,now things can get back in order around this place.

Love the customer service! I will be moving in by the end of the month I spoke to Michelle and Blanca they helped so much and made sure that I had all the information I needed to move into my new home. I am excited and I will refer my family and friends.

I have been shopping around for months and Playa has the best customer service and pricing! Affordable pricing and spacious apartments. I love how convenient it is to shopping centers and schools.

Blanca is very professional and friendly. I feel that she takes the time to listen and help people with their issues. I know that she cant do everything tenants want or need, but she goes out of her way to at least try. I wish all Staff employees worked like she does.

I seriously cannot wait until my lease is up! From ghetto tenants having a bloc party all hours of the night to homeless people digging through the dumpster, this place is outrageous! My girlfriends mother moved into another unit and her apartment is infested with insects. Oh and the maintenance crew ( all of two people) are slower than molasses! My sink backed up, sent in a work order and a phone call and got no response. 4 days pass still nothing, so I took matters into my own hands and fixed it myself. It wasnt until that very day did the decide to send someone, which was funny because I had already fixed it! (Disappointed my money has to be spent on this place)

3 years and 1 month of living here. Moving out soon.1.The appliances are very old models and they paint over the previous residents filth before you move in. Theres still someone hair entombed in the wall.2. Complacent office staff who also lie about things you confront them with.3. A.C. units go out and you have to beg just for them to be fixed and they will NOT clean dirty, moldy units.4. If you get infested with other peoples roaches through the outlets, they will not replace your appliances.5. Scorpions are a constant threat and my wife went to the ER, stung by the 8th one we saw.6. Pool hours, even in summer, 9-5:30 (most peoples work schedules), kid pool always busted.7. Security gates dont work and security tower always vacant with busted windows.8. Monthly rent was $605 1Bed 1 bath then jumped to $770 when we announced move out in 52 days. Vengeful!8. 2 weeks ago a man was murdered in this complex.

I walked in and was greeted with great kindness and professionalism by Brenda and Blanca. They showed me the actual unit which I am moving into tomorrow. The apartment is spacios and upstairs just the way I wanted it. I TOTALLY GIVE THESE LADIES 5 STARS@ PLAYA! So excited to move in tomorrow!

I have lived here since May, 2016 and by April, 2016 I had regretted my decision to live here and I cant wait to move.The Good*My neighbors are some of the best I have ever had. So friendly.*The layout is very nice. We have the dual master suite floor plan, its about 1000 square feet, 2 walk in closets, hardwood looking laminate (doesnt bother me) in the living area and carpet in the bedrooms.*Darryl, the maintenance man. He is just the best. Friendly, professional, quick, and efficient.*Quiet. I was very apprehensive about going back to apartment life because I dont like lots of noise. At least in my section I have never heard a loud party, and even the kids arent loud, and the parents have them in just after dark.*Price. I moved from Los Angeles, so $810 seemed like a dream. And having lived here a bit, I think its still a good deal.*The office is open 7 full days a week.The Bad*There are cockroaches everywhere. I see a pest control truck about once a month but Im not sure why hes here. So I have to pay for my own pest control.*I have never seen a scorpion on the property at all, but Im in a shady little lane. My neighbors who get lots of sun complain about seeing them outside and in the apartment often.*No assigned parking. I didnt even think to ask this before I moved in, I always assumed every apartment had assigned parking. Its fine during the day and on weekends, but any night of the week if you want to go out, you have to sacrifice your covered spot.The Ugly*The resort style pool is false advertising. It is a pretty large pool, and the rock/waterfall in the middle is quite nice, however when we moved in there was a rotting bird carcass on the rocks. It had to have been there for months, it was just bones - why did nobody notice this?? There are tiles falling off the wall and the tiles that are on there are filthy. When the pool was first opened they had lovely furniture, however it didnt seem to last long before it was all broken. I wouldnt blame the complex for that except for the fact that not everyone seems to get a pool key when they move in ( I didnt) so the gate is propped open with a rock, letting in all sorts of ruffians and unattended children. Also, the pool is not heated so it is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the hours are ridiculous, 9am to 5:30pm, also closed every Monday. Why even have a pool?*There is no Air Conditioning maintenance on weekends, so if your unit goes out Friday afternoon, you probably wont get it fixed until Tuesday. That is absolutely preposterous for Las Vegas, when we live in 100+ for several months without a break in the heat*My AC unit leaked all over my carpet, just soaked it from the bathroom to the closet. I notified the office about it, the manager came out and said she would have it replaced, and that was about a month ago. My unit is leaking again, and Im fairly certain that we have mold since my husband and I are suddenly both suffering respiratory issues. So now I have to pay for a mold inspection.Bottom LineIf you are just looking for a place to live and dont care about amenities and want a great deal, this would be the place for you. I however, enjoy the Las Vegas summertime for the pool - which I cant ever use here. I find Edna in the office to be rude and uneducated about her job. Management just changed staff, they seem nice enough.

Blanca is very helpful. She is a great team member for Playa Vista. She helped me find a 1x1 apartment at an affordable price.

Living here is great. The office staff is helpful and do care for your needs. Maintaince and landscape staff are wonderful too. Its a proud place to call home.

Estrella was so helpful and signed me up for the WIPS card. No more money orders and stamps. So easy to pay rent!

It was alright when I lived in this apartments from 2006 to 2007, the maintenance guys were good hard working people and always had a good attitude, I give it 3 stars and not higher because I remember that the front gate, the main entrance to the community, never worked, that gave access to people that most likely didnt live there, also I remember that the pool was never open, there was always something wrong with it, never even got the chance to try it :(... I hope that at least the main gate works now...

Will be moving in July and my whole application process has been so simple. Online payments, e-signature, and best of all great staff.

UPDATE: 9 MONTHS LATER. Change from 1 star to 3.Still in the non upgraded unit. But all other issues have been fixed, except water damaged cabinets in kitchen and restroom. The apartment complex has grown on me a bit enough to change my rating of this place. The maintenance staff is friendly. The neighbors as well.When living in a community with hundreds of people there is no such thing is quiet. Pigeons run a muck and cannot be policed thats just nature, and gets worse when people drop food outside or continue to feed them. Which is not the apartments fault thats just apartment living.ORIGINAL POST: Initially I was impressed by this complex. I was shown around a bit and i was informed I would be getting an updated unit. Two days before my move, I get a call from the apartment management and informed I will not be getting an upgraded unit because the one I was going to get had flooded. I had already set up my renter insurance and energy to start on that very day so it would be ready for my move. But then had to call to get it all moved to a unit I never seen. On my move in day Im shown around the new unit, which was nothing like the upgraded one I was shown.Numerous outlets are not working, restroom sink is leaking, restroom cabinets is completely water damaged and smells of mold and carpet in second room had no padding and not properly installed. I contacted them and was able to get the A/C filter fixed and sink leak. However Im on day 3 and no response as to when and if the carpet, outlets, dishwasher and water damaged restroom cabinet will be fixed.I was told that exterminators come every week and as I began to clean, a family of cockroaches came from underneath the fridge.

The ladies in the office are very nice. They helped me set up my account for the new rent system. Not only are they patient and have great customer service, but they care for the community.

I went to see an apartment today at Playa Vista Apartments and was helped by Blanca. She was helpful and showed me the actual apartment I would be moving into. The apartment is big and the customer service was good.

I dont and never lived at this place, but I was looking online for a new apartment. If u read the reviews u can tell that there fake,the owner only responds to the good reviews. Plus I look at alot of reviews before I decide to go look at apartments,and these apartments have almost 300 reviews no other apartments in Vegas have a 100. So in my opinion these reviews are fake

I love it here everyone is nice.. Me and my girl have been here for awhile now.. The management here is extremely nice they listen to your problem if u go to them.. I will stay here another couple of years thats how nice things are here..... So thats why i give it a five star count.

I lived at this place for over a year. Everybody in the office is very nice and helpful. No apartment community is perfect, but I lived in many places in Vegas and I love living here.

I have live at playa vista for more the 4 years. Office is great they work with me when it comes to my rent and work orders to my apartment. Great changes have been made like the lights in the complex. I enjoy my apartment I recommend playa vista.

I am a property manager from Hawaii, I have recently received a call for verification of a precious tenant, namely Ms. Nuesca, she recently applied for a 2bdrm apartment lease and was told that she needed to put a down payment of 259.00 along with application and process for paperwork be done and they will hear from management as soon as processing of application and verification has been completed and Ms. Nuesca would get an answer within the next 24 hour, when she didnt get any calls Ms Nuesca called to check on status and a couple of times and did not get a return call from Playa Apartments business office until 4 days later stating that she was not approved and so she asked for a refund and was told that they do not give refunds because it needs to be within the 24 hours from date of application. She then mentioned that she was told that she would get a call back and she also called and the office person (Bianca) stated that it doesnt matter its past the 24 hours and she was not getting anything back and thats final. She stared (Ms. Nuesca) that it was the fault of the office personnell that it is over the 24hours and this person stated it is past and you cant get it back and hung up. Ms. Nuesca attempted to call back and no answer thereafter. Now my question is, If it was past 24 hours timeline and it was not because the potential tenant but the office personnel that did not follow through with what was said to the potential tenant in the timeline than shouldnt she have gotten her funds returned. This family had given their hard earned money to live in a place that they chose out of 20 different apartment choices to call home to get taken advantage of. Thus leaving them with the need to search for yet another place and to be 250.00 less in the event. So sad and speakably unprofessional.This family consist of 2 adults and 3 children under the age of 8 and youngest being 4 years if age. One income, hard-working and respectful, we are appauld to see this past tenant of 4 years and good standings go through this. So sad and unbelievable. Now this family doesnt have a home and now the family would have to break up and children will have to leave their dad and Ms. Nuesca would have to find a way to move back to Hawaii . Is there any decency left in this world.

Me and my family are excited to enjoy the pool here at Playa Vista Apartments. My kids love it.

I have lived here 2 weeks, so far I regret it. There is a bad roach problem here but Im hoping things get better. Today a very nice maintenance man named Darryl came by to fix quite a few things. He was great, not only did he fix them but he made sure to fix them right. Looks like my experience here may be improving. As long as we can get pest control out it is a place I may recommend.
