Horrible service. It took the driver two hours to pick up from when he said he was on his way, it was only a 25 minute drive to our location. They didn’t drop off to our dealership, saying they don’t don’t night drop offs which is not true. Said they would drop the truck off Sunday but when we called they said they were too busy & would do it on Monday. Had to call multiple times in regards to getting truck transported to the dealership. My father went to the tow shop and the guy was rude to him and told him he didn’t even have the keys (which was a lie). My father asked how they got it off the tow truck and they said they dropped it off the bed. We had to get another tow order from warranty company to get it towed which they tried to charge us $175 for. Truck was finally dropped off Monday but was literally dropped off tow truck when keys were in gas cap where the driver put them. Truck was hanging out of parking spot. Dirt and scratches all over truck. The person was very rude. Stating that’s how they do drop offs all the time. When my husband asked to speak to the owner he was told that the owner would tell him “it’s your fault your truck broke down & you should have bought a better truck!”. Completely unacceptable behavior from a company! Making a formal complaint with the dealership we purchased warranty from and the warranty company who ordered the service from this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Called for lock out service and manager said the truck was headed to the location in 15 minutes. He quoted us $55 and an hour and a half later NO SHOW! I reached him one time and he said the truck should be there within 10 min. That was an hour ago. Now AJ Towing will not answer the phone. This is the second time this has happened with this company. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY..UNPROFESSIONAL!

Cheapest in town tow... I called everyone else and A&J was not only the most reasonably priced for the job, but they had a driver to me in a matter of minutes... I would definitely recommend these guys

After 5 different attempts to line up a tow with them, over the course of three days, I called Estep, they towed my car in less than an hour. I should have paid attention to the online reviews.

I locked myself out of my car about a month ago. The employee got there within 30 minutes and unlocked my car without trouble. I actually had missed a few of calls that let me know that he had arrived. He stayed there anyways until he got a hold of me and was extremely nice about it! 10/10 would recommend!

AMAZING! He was so nice helping me get out of my own back yard! He did not even ask how I got stuck. I was embarrassed but he did not let that affect his job. He coached me through what I needed to do. Got me out within 5 minutes of being here! Great service!!!

I was driving home from work and the road conditions were not great at all. I was couple miles from my house and had gotten over for the snow plow and got stuck off the side of the road. While waiting, luckily the owner from A and J towing had stopped and said he would help me out. He was super polite and great at his job. He knew exactly what to do to get me up and out and even took the time to tell me the best way to do so. He not only helped me get unstuck and back on the road but took the time to make sure I got home. I couldn’t of asked for better service anywhere else and I can’t say thank you enough for going out of the way to help me out and will be a customer from now on!!!!

8 on a Saturday evening couldnt tell my car 25 miles.

Hello, your company was called to an accident scene on 7/11/2020 involving my truck. When the driver got there, he needed to pull my truck off of the other car. I explained to him that I felt the truck could be driven home once it was off and would not need towed. He stated that I will not be able to take my truck without paying him first since he is not taking back to his yard because I dont work for free. this was being taken care of by insurance and my insurance company would have paid the tow. I went ahead and paid it by CC and then was informed that I will be charged 10% for using the card. I know its a tough job, but i feel there was not a need to be rude as he was. I was also informed that i could not leave with my truck until the accident scene was cleaned up. I also feel that almost 200.00 was excessive to charge for about 15 min of work taking my truck off of the other car. It was 2 pulls.Like I said, I know it is a difficult job, But I think it could have been handled a little better. The office guy was nice when I called for my receipt. Got it right away.

They took forever to come out and I didn’t get the services I kept getting complains that they did not have the right equipment

Quaint little tow yard very respectful of your property and mindful of the grit and grime (if they have any on them) to not get it all over, all in all a strong business with good, honest people, im happy to deal with them again and again. Cody was the gentleman I spoke with and hes very proper, makes good conversation, and turned what could have been a disaster into a fun little experience.

After calling 5 other tows and my insurance company over memorial day weekend and being told there was a 4 hr wait A&J came to the rescue by coming to get from the side of the road within 30 minutes. Thank you.

Only place less than a 4 hour wait due to weather in July 2020. Just look at his responses to reviews and that says enough. The rudeness arguing back and forth with people on Google reviews as if his misery job choice is the customers fault. He tries his hardest to not tow AAA as well and is EXTREMELY RUDE in person. Dont waste your $ hes about 175% higher rate wise! I had no choice as everyone else was a 3-4 hour wait. Boooo

My mom called AAA because she had a flat & was stranded. a&j towing came to the rescue, but when the man arrived it was obvious he was ticked off. He did not want to be there and he made that clear to her & her sisters who with her. He didnt have air to pump up her tire. When he got her spare and put it on it was flat as well. He did nothing to help. He asked them if they had an air pump to fill the tires. He told her he would she would have to call someone else in the morning. HE was not going to be available. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. And a total jerk to someone who was in need of his services.

Oh my how rude! Seriously I hesitated to call because of all the bad reviews but someone recommended them to me so I did call. I had called a few other places to get an estimate of how much it would cost and these people were over double the amount of money the other places. When I asked what the price was and he told me I told him that they were double and he says well good luck getting somebody to come out and hung up on me! Dont bother unless you want to pay double and have to deal with people who think that theyre better than everybody else.

Impossible to get a receipt of the bill from this guy! I called earlier today to get a receipt of the tow we were charged for insurance purposes. The guy was not very pleasant over the phone and told me I had to come into his office to pick up a copy so I told him I’d be there today.. Don’t you think when you say “I’ll be in today” that maybe you should have someone at your office? Well when I got to this place (around 11:50am) there was no one there and the place was all locked up. My insurance called and talked to him and he went on to say someone had to come pick it up.. Insurance explained that no one was there when I went to pick it up and he still refused to give them any information. So buddy maybe you shouldn’t tell someone your business hours are 9-5pm and then they drive there and no one is there?? Not a good company to work with! I would recommend anyone other than this guy!

Driver was unable to find me, so he called me and was very rude where are you I ran out of gas. I know my fault! But my car was literally in the middle of the road with hazards on, small residential street. Said he had been up and down the road. Then when he did find me he spilt a ton of the $5 worth of gas that he brought me all over the side of my car and the ground! I wouldnt even have complained about anything, but there is no need for the attitude and rudeness! I will tell my road side assistance for my insurance company not to use them!

Courteous service with a good cash discount. A tow from downtown Lancaster to Hamilton Road with A&L was $20 cheaper than the next closest price for the same job. The tow back a couple weeks later was the same price.

Me and my children were broke down in the dark on a country road we didnt know and had no service and could only call 911. George the owner came and towed my car and gave us a ride home. He was the most awesome person ever. He turned a bad situation into a fun ride and lifted the bad mood. Not the way I wanted to spend Christmas Eve, but if it wernt for A&J Towing then we would of had the worst Christmas eve ever.

I blew a head gasket at 12am and ordered a tow low and behold three and a half hours later no tow no phone call to say that the tow was cancelled and all the other companies I talked to said that A & J towing is notorious for accepting your tow and not showing up do your self a favor and DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY. You can find better service and a better price elsewhere.

Our car wouldnt start so we called A&J. Very professional and friendly. Dustin came out in the time frame they stated and was able to get the starter working so we could drive to the dealership to drop it off. Hard working and very professional. Would definitely recommend.

This just happened: I locked myself out of my car outside of Chipotle. I called AJ Towing and they were out there within 10 minutes. The locksmith was very courteous and professional. Once he left I had an issue with my door and was afraid the locksmith might of broken it. I gave them a call and within 5 minutes they had me in the shop checking it out. He was able to figure it out right away (not the locksmiths fault) and fix it on the spot free of charge. All in all, these guys rock and I am thankful they helped me.

You have the right to use whatever company you want to tow your vehicle. If these guys show up after youve had an accident request or call another towing company. Unprofessional and rude. It took them 36 hours to get my car where it was supposed to go. I was told it would be there by 9 am the next day after the accident. Save yourself the time and effort and use a different company.

Really $165 just to winch someone out?. And there trucks our outdated and drivers dont know how to do a legsl 4 point tie down. I wouldnt let them tow nothing of mine

Extremely unprofessional and flat out liars. Our new truck died upon arriving to a job site a couple hours away from our company. We were told by our salesman at Medina Auto Mall to call Roadside Assistance and they would schedule a tow (Roadside assistance is also terrible). Unfortunately we did not get a choice in who we would have tow our vehicle and we got the worst of the worst. A&J claims that this was called in as a light tow but when we called Roadside assistance they were well aware that this was a 5500 steak bed. A&J claims it was entered in by them wrong. Then claimed that our truck was locked and there wasnt a key in it for towing. Not true. The door was unlocked and the key was under the seat. They then changed their story to say that the door was frozen shut and they could not get in. This was said multiple times. Then they said that they were standing out there with space heaters to try to open the door (such commitment). The owner of our company called the GC at the job site (where the truck is parked at) and he went outside and opened the driver side door without any resistance (must have been that space heater huh). He said to be honest with us that there arent footprints in the snow, no disturbance around the truck, there hasnt been anyone by your vehicle nor have they seen a tow truck anywhere in the vicinity. They have been watching out for one for us.Multiple phone calls and multiple lies later - we are assuming that it was the owner - who was confronted with all of the lies then said find someone else to tow your truck good luck and hung up on us. I would highly recommend finding anyone else to tow any of your vehicles.

After dealing with a nightmare of a towing company prior, the amazing gentleman who picked up my BMW was very cool, calm, and kind despite my miscellaneous rambling from being slightly stressed from hours prior.A & J showed up with a flat-bed that made me feel a lot more comfortable with my AWD car. A & J was fair and did not try to hide anything.Overall, I had an excellent experience with these guys and would recommend them again!

My wife locked her keys in the van with it running and I let them know this when I called they had someone at the house in 15 minutes. The gentleman who came out was polite and professional. Seems to be some people that are not very smart or just trying to make a buck off someone elses miss fortune running this business. I dont suggest using them. They towed without the presence of someone on the title or insurance policy and then couldnt get the car to my house that was only 2 blocks from the tow site (took it to their in-pound lot instead). I dont believe they even tried to deliver it to my house because I live in the city and they said they ended up in front of a corn field then couldnt get in touch with anyone - none of us had any missed calls and we had no problem getting in touch with the insurance company (the multiple times we called because of this situation). I only gave them 1 star because I had to.

I locked my keys in my truck and they told me it would take 2 hours to get out there. So I called one of their competitors and they were there within 25 minutes. I understand some businesses may be busy where some are not, thats something that could be easily overlooked. But when I called to get an ETA the person I spoke with was extremely rude and talked over me every chance he could get. Thats a little harder to overlook. I would rather break my window out than call these guys to be honest.

Was towing my boat when the two rear trailer tires threw their tread. AJs was prompt and happy to help. Bought two new tires and replaced mine on site. Had me back and moving in under an hour without having to tow me. Great guys

Very unprofessional and ignorant. I would rather travel to Columbus than deal with such an incompetent company. There is a reason why they’re a 3 star company. Take your business elsewhere.We have had a UHaul broke down in Circleville since 4 p.m. Once it was communicated that A & J Towing would be responsible for the towing, my husband called them to double check the destination, (which is supposed to be at a storage unit in Loveland, Ohio). The response from A & J was, “That’s not going to happen.” Three and a half hours later, they are afraid about the axle and crossing the scale on 71 which hasn’t been there in 5 years. Bottom line if you don’t want to tow the UHaul, don’t tow it. Let someone else have the business. When I personally called A & J Towing to check the status of the UHaul, they couldn’t tell me if they were or were not going to tow it. We simply wanted to know the status so we could get someone else lined up if needed. I told him I would take to social media. He mocked me and said he didn’t care. Very unprofessional, ignorant, and incompetent. They have until 8 a.m. tomorrow morning to get this right or I will contact corporate.Since you won’t allow me to reply to your comment, the UHaul was not overloaded. If you were so concerned about the law, why did you personally drive it to Maple Street? Please review the laws and while you’re at it, brush up on your spelling. My daughter wrecked her vehicle over a month ago and we were forced to use a&j because it was their turn in the rotation. So if you want to be talked to like an idiot and treated rude use them.

My insurance company contracted A&J for roadside assistance when my keys were locked in my car while I was in the area camping. Got me into my car quickly with no problems. The technician was very friendly.

In all honesty this company should have no stars they treat vehicles very bad especially the owner the one that owns the company can’t even load a truck onto a flatbed they have people that don’t even know what they’re doing half the time there’s only one man that I worked with that actually knew what he was talking about if you need help don’t call A&J Towing if you want something broke the owner can help!

7/25/2017 810AMIm not sure how this company was able to be added to a fleet account dispatch but they have poor customer service. Its 2017 and Im guessing they are still using Mapquest because apparently they couldnt find my house. A home built in 1994 by the way. Roadside called to see if my service hadnt arrived, they conferenced us in, and they manager claimed the tech came to my home and they woman that answered the door knew nothing about it. When I face them my address and the cross street, they said you home must be where that bridge is out at. He was referencing a bridge that had been removed over 10 years ago!! He also told me you house is not in Carroll, thats the problem. I told him, yes it is, you cannot tell me where my house isnt at. He then said, we will be there shortly thank you. When I asked, whats your name? He had hung up the phone, I immediately called and reported his company and had them send another company out. Do not waste your time, rude manager!!!

Worst experience ever they were told police were on scene bc my tire fell off... they told me for them to tow and hold for a few hours it would be $80 total ok cool... well now i need to have it towed somewhere else in town and they wanna charge $225 like wow... and the owner said bc i didnt tell him police were on the scene and that my tire was off..... um yes i did and like i said the police were there bc i was in the middle of main St. Lmao with no tire on my car.... wow so when i call i get hung up on... very rude if i could give 0 stars i would...... definitely will NOT be using this place again and i would advise you not to as well... but you do what you do. Worst tow of my life. After they said they couldnt make it up my driveway, (my minivan does this in snow easily) I had to leave work and get my car down the drive way they said they couldnt navigate. After calling their driver to let them know the car was now very easily reachable, I waited patiently for notification that the tow took place. After waiting two hours, with no response, I called another tow company to actually do it. Little did I know my car was picked up. When I called to inquire about the complete lack of follow up, I was greeted by the apparently less-than-understanding manager in a rude fashion. Lady, to be a manager you need to learn to follow through. And hanging up on me like petulant teenager? Classy.Continuing on: To all those reading, I was just cursed off and threatened by the very charming and clearly educated owner. Be wary: if you disagree with these people they WILL threaten you.In response to your response:The tow was in Fairfield, not Hocking. Lying about the location to instill sympathy is just pathetic. The van was NOT the tow, it was my sedan, so nice job being thorough with that bit of info. You and the manager/secretary (which one is it? No consistency here, I tell you) both know the only swear words uttered via phone calls were from your own lips. Third towing company? Please. We both know that is just a complete falsity. I actually called one other towing company (they actually have manners, by the way) and then made sure they got paid for their time. As for my insurance? I called A J Towing last evening after my mom became stranded outside of Lancaster. Being over 2 hours away from her, they reassured me they would take care of her and they certainly did. They responded in about 15 minutes and their driver, Gary, calmed my mother and assured her she was fine to drive home. He even called me to explain the situation and reassure me. I greatly appreciate their quick response and compassion to solve what turned out to be a small mechanical problem. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Fairfield County service area, Thanks again for taking care of my family.

I experienced a flat tire so I contacted Roadside Assistance who dispatched A & J. There was an initial delay (no fault of A&J) due to an emergency in the area that closed the local road. After that resolved, A&J said it would be approximately 1-2 hours ( this should have been around 12:30 PM). When they didnt show, I was told that the driver had just finished a job and would be there in about 15 minutes. Another hour passed so I called again, I was told that the driver got delayed but is on his way. I cited that I understood...I know delays happen. Another hour passed and I call dispatch. This time Im told that they cant find the driver and they would let me know soon. I waited for a little while longer before I called and requested a different company. I still never got a call back from A&J. Hopefully you found your missing driver.

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Got a bad vibe from A&J from the moment they took my car from the accident scene. I was told that I couldn’t tell him where to take MY car, only my insurance company could tell him where to take it. My insurance company said that was not true and I could tell him where to take it because I am the owner of the vehicle. He basically refused to take my car anywhere until he had a check in hand from my insurance co. Even after the body shop talked to him and told him his check would be written as soon as he dropped it off, it still took them almost 48 hours to get my car from the accident scene to the body shop (then his tow yard) which are all about a mile away from each other. He kept lying about when it would arrive so I had to call the local police and threaten him to get my car there before I would arrive at his lot with an officer and diff tow Co to get my car. It took about a dozen calls from myself, husband, body shop and adjuster to get my car there. My insurance adjuster, body shop and the police officer I spoke to ALL said this is just a game tow companies like to play to get storage fees.... the longer he keeps my car the more he makes. Not professional what so ever. If this tow company ever shows up to “help” you, refuse their service and call someone else, like Fletchers. Don’t let this man lie to you like he did me. He’s a money hungry liar! After talking to several people, this is pretty normal behavior for this company so save yourself and AVOID!And no I don’t know anyone at Fletchers. We aren’t even from this area. But I did call Fletchers (since they are basically the only other tow Co that the circleville police use) and asked how they do business... they said that they would have taken my car right from the accident scene to the body shop of my choice and would have either received payment from body shop (like you were offered) or waited until insurance cut them a check. They don’t need to hold my car for two nights to make more money in storage fees like you. Crook!

Had my car towed by them my wife said if you have a shop go ahead and give me a quote on the repair. As we were trying to keep business local he said he couldnt get to the repairs that week we understood it was coming upon Christmas then came the new year. My wife called Wednesday they informed her that they tried to call her totally false they then said it would be done on Thursday false again. In discussed I callled the rude guy said it would be done after lunch. Here I am waiting for thier call on friday still no call. Angered I went to the shop car was on the jacks in the air and four men lounging around in the front office. The very rude owner came out and said I needed a new battery for eighty bucks along with the 293.00 charged for the tow and replacing the starter. I called a local junk yard and got a battery for 30.00 and went back to the shop where one guy did wait reluctantly as another guy said he would but left. He did put the battery in it started up and I put it on the other side of the fence looking down my battery light is on. In conclusion I pulled the negative post on the battery while it was running low and behold it dies. 330.00 dollars and three weeks later I now have to replace the alternator WHICH PROBABLY THE PROBLEM TO START WITH. They will be reported.

Worst service ever. Called for a tow. They told me it would be an hour. I told him okay. After an hour and half I tried calling him several times to see where they were at. He wouldn’t answer the phone and never showed up. I ended up calling another company and was told they would be there in 30 mins and was actually there in 15 mins. Very untrustworthy owner. Typical shady car repaid shop...A&J gives all small car repair businesses a horrible name. Owner is as sketchy as they come...they claim they will not let a car off their property w/o having the job complete to their standards...well, I took it to the dealership and now I have more damage then to begin with. The owner will give you every excuse in the book why it is not his fault, but as you can see on every other review, this company should not be in business and the owner should be in jail.

They allow bad things to happen to your vehicle in their tow yard and when they towed my vehicle since they had a problem with my boyfriend they took my vehicle to their personal residence and removed parts from it.not a good company in my opinion.

A & J Towing were very quick and professional. This company comes highly recommended.

Just towing company is shading to say the least. My car was towed because somebody that live in apartment said I was in her spot. I have contacted the landlord and she said I was more than it within my rights to be able to park. The towing company and J said that the landlord had it towed, I spoke with the landlord and she said she didnt in no shape or form tell them to tow my vehicle she knew nothing about it. So they take anybody saying to tie a car and they just do it so theres no laws or paperwork or somebodys going to sign authorizing this to happen? So somebodys getting some kickdown from this Shady A and J Towing place had no legal right to tow my vehicle. I am in the process of Final in a police report so if anybody else has gone through this please go down and file police report against them doing illegal toes and stealing vehicles.

Very fast efficient service. I think I was towed and at the tire shop within 30 minutes of breaking down.

Worst tow service ever. Given to me by insurance. Lied about arrival time.. Quoted 1.5 hours and took 4. Very rude on phone. Showed up in flat bed full of dirt that they proceeded to leave in my mechanics parking lot. I never use this service again.

Called by insurance for roadside assistance, for water pump out on my truck, owner said they could fix it for me on Sunday, sat around motel all day getting run around by owner,he said they were mechanics, have yet to prove that to me.would not recommend to work on or tow a wagon.will give my insurance a earful for using these guys.

Saw their Truck parked at McDonalds on memorial. It was parked across all reserved and mobile order spots. Caused a massive traffic issue. They are obviously not very professional. Id look elsewhere.

It was okay, but it cost almost 100 bucks to be towed to a destination a mile from my house. Too expensive.

The guy was so rude. Total jerk, he told me I need a hobby and a job. I would rather push my car home than be towed by A&J.
