I definitely love the gals at Ginas (and of course Sean- husband/co-owner). Yes, just like any nail salon with english being second language to some here.. Just be clear with what you are asking or needing. Dont be afraid to ask Sean, Gina, or the younger gal who does nails to clarify. A lot of times they will repeat what they believe you said and are 90% correct. My only complaint and its not their fault - is wearing a mask inside and when its cold, the smell of acrylic with very little air flow - gives me a huge headache. Other than that always a good experience and I love to banter with everyone here.

Ginas Salon is perfect! I walked in today and had the best mani-pedi ever. My calves/feet and hands/arms feel fantastic and look beautiful. I love that I can just walk in and get the best service. Highly recommend!

Honestly i am super unimpressed with their business, my sister in law and i went for my nieces birthday to get her nails done. My nails ended up looking terrible and messy (i got the dip powder) and they left them like that. My SIL they had to completely re-do hers because the polish was old so the owner had to step in and blamed it on her having bad cuticles? and come to find out when we left the lady told my niece no that she could not do one hand one color and the other the other color. Never going there again.

Booked an appointment for 2 pm. Had to wait 30 mins to get started, i asked on phone if they can do my design or not, they said we can add any design, then said no then cannot, they don’t follow cdc recommendation for 6 ft distance, and they dont clean seats or nail station

Im revising my review from what I left last time, which I am leaving below. So...3 days after I was at Ginas, while I was on a vacation in Hawaii, I had to go to an urgent care clinic because I got a big toe infection from Ginas salon! I called her after the fact to let her know and she could have cared less. No Im so sorry that happened, nothing! I asked her if they were going to start using liners and she told me no that they tried that and it didnt make a difference. Well, before I went here I only went to a place with liners and I never had a problem. Her parting comments to me were, You should go somewhere with liners then. Not even a please come back and try us again, just go somewhere else. Wow! I guess she really doesnt want to stay in business or have happy customers. I had told many people to go there and now I can no longer recommend her nail salon, not only because I got a toe infection, but because she clearly doesnt care. Sad, very sad.What a great place! Upon arrival I was warmly greeted and asked which services I would like. I was asked to pick some polish and when I was having trouble deciding Lynn brought me some extra choices and I found a perfect color for my toes. (Id already found the perfect shade for my fingers) I sat in the chair and then Hai started on my manicure while Lynn started my pedicure. Wow! They both did great but Lynn is a miracle worker! She made my toes look great and they feel great as well. I have been looking for a new place and now I found it!

I loved Gina hands down the best service I have ever gotten in Wa, it was my first time there and she was so welcoming I had to bring my son and I was a little nervous at first but she was so nice to my son she helped when needed she made me feel at home, she did such an amazing job on my nails I’m such a nail biter and she made my confidence go up so much. I would recommend Gina to anyone. Her shop was clean everyone was friendly and she really really puts her heart into what she does. Thank you so much Gina I found my permanent nail tech 💕

Gina and Sean are the best. Theyre so kind and always remember who you are when you come in. All the ladies who work there are sweet and take the time to do good work on your nails. The salon is always bright and clean too! Sean does an amazing job on my acrylics every time. Last time I went I got a Mickey mouse design on my nails for a trip I was taking and I got so many compliments!!

They charge $25 for a child to get shellac. I think that’s robbery. That seems greedy as a child’s nails are not as long as an adult. I won’t be taking my daughter back to them for her nails.

I LOVE this place. So kind, clean and the price is just right. I love that they do not do acrylic so the place has a lovely essential oils smell and not harsh chemicals.

Love it !!! The guy who does the nails DOES A GREAT JOB.. the 2 ladies are always friendly and love their hair cuts for my kiddos but can be busy but you can make an appointment too!!!

She waited until after my nails were painted and very wet to do the massage. When I asked if she could repaint the nails she smudged she told me it was because I had picked a clear color. I left the salon like this and still had to pay.

Got a pedicure. Nails were nicely shaped and trimmed. The $5 mango sea salt leg massage is totally worth it. No one pressured or tried to upsell me. Very quite, clean and relaxing place to go.

My own account wont let me leave a review so Im using my boyfriends account but Im just so amazed by my nails! Lynn took such great care of my nails, Ive never had someone take their time and make sure every nail matched. I even had trouble picking a color but Gina helped me mix together some colors to create the perfect one! And I left RIGHT at close and I didnt feel rushed at all! Left a good tip, they were AMAZING!

I thought Id try Ginas Nail Spa out because it was close to my house. BIG MISTAKE! I will never go back there again. After I got my pedicure done I noticed that they didnt sanitize the foot tub after the previous person. Today verified all my thoughts. I have a blister on one of toes and very itchy red feet. Im not happy and will never ever go back! BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!

Worst service ever... I have been to Ginas a few times before, but todays experience will make me never go back. I went there today so my daughter (age 8) and I could enjoy back to school manicures and pedicures. I called in to make sure they could get us in and told them that I wanted to manicures and pedicures when I called and reiterated it when I walked in the door. After over an hour and half (and an hour of that waiting while they saw new customers that arrived after we did) I ended up walking out with only my pedicure done. Apparently their English wasnt good according to Gina (the nail salon owner), but her multiple apologies and knocking her staffs English speaking skills did not mean much as she still charged me full price.

Great job! Just went here for the first time today to have an acrylic nail fill. They took their time to do a very detailed and excellent job. My nails look fantastic! Thank you!

Does manicures and pedicures and specializes in acrylic and gel. They do not do silk nails. Prices are competitive, the staff is friendly and the salon is nice.

I am so disappointed with todays experience. I always come to Ginas and usually its good service. I went there today but Gina was not working today. My Mom and I sat down to get our pedicures. There were others who were there before us also getting pedicures. The ladies there did not understand English AT ALL. I have never had an issue with non-speaking workers because one way or the other you can understand one another. The ladies there were so rude. She kept saying what you want what you want, you dont get done you go then. Things like these were said after I asked why my Moms pedicure lasted 5 minutes. The lady who did my Moms pedicure did such a terrible job. She was done so quick. Whereas others who were there before us were still enjoying their pedicures. Just a horrible experience. This makes me sad because I only went to Ginas. Never going back.

The people who work here were very rude and are overpriced for how badly my acrylic nails came out. I paid for me and my friends set of acrylics and my friend clearly told them multiple times that she didnt want shellac nails because they were more expensive but they still proceeded to give shellac and still made me pay for them.

I went there there on the 4th and got a Shellac manicure. My nails are already peeling off! Shellac should last longer than 1 week. What a waste of $. Not going back there again.

I went in for a pedicure and was very pleased with the results. They were very thorough and made a cute elaborate flower on the toe. Ive been to some places which do an awful amateur job one the flower, but this place was not one of them! The manicure was only $8 with the pedi, so I sprung for that as well. The lady who did the mani was pretty quick and didnt really get all the cuticle removed like the one who did my toes. So rating 4 stars, because it seems to be pretty dependent on who you get on how good of a job it will be. I would go here again for pedicures in the future.On a somewhat related note, the chair for the pedis was only so-so. The massaging back piece does not roll up and down the back, only sits in one spot, and since Im pretty shot, the preset spots were pretty worthless. But this wouldnt stop me from returning, just adding additional information for people who are interested.

This is by far the worst nail shop Ive been to. The manager Gina did my nail and I cant believe how ugly nd short my nails were. She over charge me and the bad thing it is my first time there and i will never ever go there anymore. Waste my time nd money. If you want something that worth your money please go some place else. They are very unprofessional nd rude esp the owner gina. Regret going there!!!!!

I used to love this salon, but over the past year I have found it overpriced and inconsistent with costs. The staff is friendly, but I can go to another Kent location (Luxury Nails) and pay $5-10 less than Ginas nails for the same service. An employee shouldnt have to call the manager to find a price for a service. Consistency is key.
